Anita was fabulous! I had been in search of a unit. I initially booked with an expensive provider, but in a last ditch effort, I decided to call around to see what other options I had. I was told the guardian site that I was looking at had no openings but that it changes daily. I put my self on the wait list and was called the same day! Anita quickly went over the option available in great detail. I was signed up in no time as she walked me through everything by phone. I was fortunately able to cancel my previous booking and get a much more convenient unit as far as location and monthly rate. I couldn’t be happier :)
I totally recommend this storage facility to all the parents/students at The Culinary Institute of America. The location is very convenient (just across the road from college). Anita and Christine in the office offer polite service with clear instructions. They take care of everything. My son who studied at The Culinary also bought storage boxes at a very reasonable price. The facility is very clean and safe. Anita and Christine always respond to emails. They are truly awesome.
I have used Guardian throughout my time in school and they have always been very helpful and informative. They also help accommodate me in any way they can, whether thats upgrading units or working with my school schedule.
I cannot say enough positive things about Guardian Storage and specifically Anita. As the parent of a college student who lives 2,600 miles away, I felt that Anita cared about us and wanted what was best for my daughter. She was very efficient and always responsive and appreciative. She answered my many questions the first year and we are not back again for 16 more months. THANK YOU ANITA and Guardian Self Storage for putting our minds at ease and making things so easy for us.
I would highly recommend Guardian Storage! This is the 2nd summer in a row that my college-aged son has used their services. They go ABOVE & BEYOND to make sure things run smoothly. They are professional, friendly and follow through. I was so happy that I sent Anita a thank you gift! Soooo appreciate their attention to detail and friendly customer service!
Working with Anita to acquire a storage unit couldn’t have been easier! She explained everything very clearly and was efficient. The storage unit areas are spacious and clean.
I am still amazed by the service I received by Anita and Mary at Guardian Self Storage. I live in Dallas, Texas and was able to secure a storage unit for my daughter who is a freshman at Marist College in one day. I was able to do everything over the phone (!) and was even provided options to pre-purchase a lock and packing boxes. All my questions were answered professionally and patiently by Anita. (I had never rented a storage space before. Anita even gave me a few specific suggestions on which Poughkeepsie cab companies/Uber drivers my daughter could use to transport her things to Guardian.) Dont think about shopping around! This place is secure and its employees will treat you like family.

Anita was especially spectacular! We had electronic problems, but she stayed on the phone with me until everything was figured out. She made the process of moving out of my college dorm less stressful.
Anita was amazingly friendly and helpful, both over the hone and in person. The gate system is easy to access and the unit is perfect! The facility provided a simple solution to a difficult problem.
Anita worked closely with me to help find the combination of units that made the most sense both financially and space-wise. I would definitely recommended Guardian if you want to feel valued as a customer.

I put my stuff here during the summer of 2016. Nothing damaged and everything from clothes, paper files to electronics are in good condition after the 3 months. Staff is welcome and price is good.
They are great. My first time renting a storage unit and they walked me through the paper work and the facility is staffed from 8-5 daily.

The office is wonderful. I needed a unit in a crunch, they took care of everything from soup to nuts so quickly and even followed up after. Awesome experience with everyone there.
Staff are friendly and experienced. Access to the lot is controlled. You can drive right up to the units. Met my needs and exceeded my expectations.

2021-06-04I needed a storage Unit for some of my stuff since I moved into a smaller apartment and had to store alot of my belongings. I knew about Guardian Self Storage and a few people recommended it. Anita the lady behind the counter explained everything. No confusion and she was very friendly and helpful.

2021-12-19I am very thankful that Guardian Self Storage is in business. Before reaching out to them I tried getting a uhaul - and because of the holidays uhaul tried to up the fees for storage- and they didn’t have anything available- the lady at the front desk from Guardian Self Storage was very nice, very professional- its a total pleasure doing business with them 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

2021-02-24I rented a unit for 364 days from this location. I worked with Anita from start to finish, and if I didnt have to go for surgery that would leave me out of work for a few weeks, I would still be renting here. Times are tough, but Anita as well as the Guardian employees have been nothing short of being kind and helpful. I appreciate everything you have done for me. 2020-11-28I was a bit nervous about the process of using a storage unit, but Anita explained everything so clearly that I immediately felt comfortable. She is very professional and knowledgeable. She was patient, gave me good advice, and had a good sense of humor, all of which eased my anxiety. I felt-- and continue to feel--completely confident in her knowledge, her customer service skills, and the safety of my belongings that are in storage at her site. I highly recommend Guardian and Anita.
