Some time ago, I gave this place a 9/10 and recommended it, no longer. Now a one. I ordered on the phone and specifically asked for hummus and it was not provided. The salad was bad, like really stale. The meat was actually ok, but over all, today was just not a good experience. Over the last year, they have increased the price and now decreased the quality of the food. I don’t know if you can see in the photo, but the cucumber looks old. They also charge tax on cash now. The people are nice, no doubt about that, but it doesn’t really matter when the food isn’t good. Last time I came here. Also, I told them to put all the sauces, they forgot to put in the hot sauce. Ok came back again, my mom said that the kebob sandwich was amazing, which brang it back up to a 3, reluctantly.
This is my most favorite gyro/platter place ever!! The food tastes amazing. Everything is flavorful and no matter how many times you go, the quality does not change. They increased the prices once and are one of the expensive gyros, but it is literally worth it because it’s the best. Their white sauce is the most delicious sauce I have ever had and I always pack all my food with that. Service is also amazing. They are super friendly and very patient. I order online most of the time and leave a specific note of how I want my order and everytime, it is exactly how I wrote it. Many places dont even bother looking. I can be satisfied each time I order that the food will be perfect. 😌😌
First time eating from here, ordered the lamb & chicken combo platter. A tad pricey compared to your typical NYC halal cart, but what really makes the dish stand out is the basmati rice they use instead of the more common long grain rice. Yum! The white and hot sauce could be better, but overall a tasty dish. Will return to try their Hindi options next time.
Great neighborhood place. Food is very good and service is friendly. Always get take out never sat there. No air conditioning as far as I can tell but for take out that doesnt matter. Simply the food is very good. They give you a good portion and theyre friendly. What more could you want in a neighborhood restaurant?
Fresh food and they give you a lot for your money. You can sit and eat there but its nothing fancy and much better to take you platter of food home. Friendly and respectful staff. There is a big jar for tips. Give them a buck or two because they deserve it, plus the large amount of food they give you, its worth a nice tip.
I liked it , I got the chicken gyro which was very good. The chicken soft and tender the sauces seem home made and the veggies fresh.Maybe a little bit of plastic covering between the veggies and the metal tins(I didnt see any , ) but thats just preference.Good spot for a quick bite and wnjoyable
Basically the best place on earth to be eating, everything is fresh and never old, every time I go just looking at the chicken waters your mouth. I never want to eat vegetables in my life but when I see their veggies I always get some. And honestly it taste very good as well. The employees are the best people you can have serve you, they are all amazingly funny which actually brightens people’s day up. They always help you choose in what u want. So honestly out of a 5 star rating I give it a 10. Don’t listen to me talking about and just go check it out.Best gyro in Brooklyn

Terrible service. If you want a gyro, just expect to have to tell them whats in a gyro and how its suppose to look. They have no clue. There was a woman and a man...the woman was im guessing mexican and so was the man taking my order. He was very rude and argued with me about what a gyro consists of.
This place doesn’t need my review their high quality service speaks for them self’s they are open and we’ll know in this area for awhile. the place is an average size 20-30 people at a time my best guess, food is fresh they are friendly cash and cards are both accepted
Fake Gyro! Was expecting Greek Gyro! meat cooked and cut like any NYC Halal cart, will never order again very disappointed the only place I will eat from is Gyro world in Queens I guess you get what you pay for. Delivery fee, tax and Tip was more than the cost of my Food SMH!
I found this place after the Sandy Hurricane and I had to walk up Coney Island Ave.The Chicken Gyro is meaty, meaty, meaty, delicious!!! And tastes delicious when you save it for later. The service is friendly and good-natured. Its a true unpretentious Neighborhood Place for Eats.
Im on Google searching for a delicious Lamb Gyro to eat right now, Ive never used this restaurant but it had 4 plus Stars so I wanted to try them. I called for a pickup order but I had to cancel and hang up because before they can take my order they got rude agressive and spoke to me like I was an idiot. I requested a Double Lamb Gyro No PITA, and a reg Lamb gyro. The original guy on phone asked if I wanted a gyro or platter I said a gyro no pita and he said ok hold on. So Im assuming he put his boss on, because he passed the phone and this guy asked what I want. I repeated and he asked doni want a platter or a gyro? I said gyro. He asked a couple more times and I explained what I wanted and then He said then dont tell me no pita you want a platter RUDE RUDE RUDE! THEY ARE SO RUDE. STAY AWAY! they dont even know Im a first time potential customer just trying to get lunch! Idk if you have preexisting policies or who had to mess it up foreveryone else! Now do I have to purchase a larger more expensive platter when I know that most restaurants use that to throw more salad in and less Lamb so get your customer service straight you jerks!
Man why does the delivery take so long we are literally right near them we live 0.1 miles and less and it takes almost 2 hours of delivery we had cancel our order and waste our time, even a 2 year old would know. I don’t know if god gave them a brain do not order terrible service.😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
The one star is for lack of costumer service. I ordered gyros for my family and they did not say they come with hot sauce in the description. My grandmother and aunt cannot tolerate or eat hot sauce. I called up the Coney Island location and they gave me a run around and had me call another location and finally I called them again and he magically remembered I did place the order with them. When I asked to be sent new gyros without hot sauce he said next time this and that and would not fix their mistake. If on the menu it was stated the gyros came with hot sauce I would of asked them to put it on the side. If anyone has allergies or intolerance to certain ingredients and they just put them in the food and dont correct their mistake then it could possibly be life threatening if the costumer doesnt know the food will come with something that isnt listed on the menu. Food is meh, I would not order again or recommend. There are plenty of gyro joints located in Coney Island.
A little gem hidden within the Kensington neighborhood This gyro cafe is not like the others their food is absolutely amazing and their wide Verity and choices is even more please you can either stay and sit in the Back where they have a 60 TV for your Entertainment Its so if you happen to be walking by make sure to stop in
They were really good..before the owner was serving people...and now he is alwasy sitting on the chair.....I just bought a platter today from them and they gave me nothing for $7....there box is smallest one in the newyork...and still they give u half empty...I used go to them whenever Im in coney island..but now I will never ever come here again...there are much better places to go
Do not order from this place . Delivery takes forever . Then once the lukewarm food arrives it is stale and over cooked . I paid $17.45 for a large mix gyro platter only to receive a container filled to its brim with rice but hardly any lamb or chicken and what was given was not edible . Plus two pita halves that were literally hard as rocks . STAY AWAY !!

2022-04-23Hmmmm I didnt love/like my Gyro...unfortuntely. The pita was not warm, it was basically salad and meat on top in a pita, and the meat was barely warm.I was also going to get some Baklava (small sticky sweet flaky pastry) about the size of your pinky finger, they wanted $5.00 for one (I repeated the prx to the gentleman to confirm and yes each $5.00), when a package of 3 is usually $5.00.I will not go to this establishment again.

2021-04-09Glad there is a new gyro place in the area. Decided to give it a try & was surprised so glad we tried this place. We sampled alot of items & overall all the staples were really great we enjoyed everything the sauce & hummus could have been better but not bad at all the fish it was dry & bland but everything else was so good that it really didnt matter much am definitely gonna be back there when ever I am around

2022-04-06Nicely stuffed sandwiches in pita bread. When you order through Grubhub, they do follow your instructions to leave something out, and Grubhub guarantees 1/2 hour delivery. Those are the ONLY good things about this place. I know its healthier, but I dont appreciate the fact that they use very little to no salt in their falafel and veggie samosas. No flavor. Their lamb gyro aint great either! It actually tasted... bad. NOT like it had gone bad, just bad in and of itself. If youve had good gyro, then youll see how bad this is. They neglected to mention in the description that they put hot sauce on their sandwiches. Its truly HOT and I cant take hot sauce. They claimed their Samosas were wrapped in phyllo but it arrived as a potato pancake, no phyllo at all. Their food is so bad that it makes the very few good things not worth it. I strongly advise against this place!
