The food here lemme say this first was FRESH!!! you can tell this isnt any reheats from 2 days ago ....this food is great and the prices for what you get is great.......this is my new spot I love it and there open late @2am☺️

My go to Gyro spot in the area. Pricing, quality and consistency of food, and portions sizes are very good in comparison. Service is quick and efficient. The store itself is a bit cozy and tight but the food is made efficiently and quickly so it usually doesnt get too cramped inside. I am hoping they start serving smoothies soon since theyve been advertising them as coming soon for a long time now. Overall a great gyro spot for your cravings. Highly recommended.
I didnt eat here. Maybe it was a bad day, but the food, specifically the veggies, didnt look fresh at all. The cucumbers and lettuce was browning and tomatoes looked soggy. Im far from picky, and I couldnt bring myself to trying the food. Might go back on a day where its busy to see if that impacts the quality.
I drive from anywhere for their lamb and chicken mix on salad even though their rice is of the charts too, but Im on diet. Their meat is always fresh and tender and perfectly spiced. Everyone I take there loves it and stop by whenever in the neighborhood. Will ad pics next time. Sadly, I always forget in my excitement to eat it lol

As of last year this used to be my go to spot for lamb gyros. The food is great, their lamb gyros never disappoint. The meat is cooked just right and it is seasoned so well. Its the best gyro. But the customer service needs major improvement. Its unfortunate to say, but my recent visits to Gyro Hut ( today 8/27/20 and last year 7/19) just left me annoyed and strengthened my resolve to never go here again. Today, was the first time I visited this place since the previous year. On my last visit, the person at the register left his post unattended and a long line was formed. When he came back it was my turn to order. He said next customer, I walk up to the counter and before I can open my mouth to state my order he looked annoyed tells me to hurry up. I can take a joke, but this guy was serious. I stood there waiting for him to say Im joking he didnt . I didnt say anything to him I just left and went across the street to Gyro King (its meh). Today I decided to give this place another chance. When I went there was no line, I place my order, I wanted two lamb gyros. The attending only made one gyro even though I repeatedly told him I wanted two. He didnt even ask what I wanted in the gyro he just started putting stuff in it. Again I brought up that I also ordered a second gyro. He says second gyro?, he doesnt make it and proceeds to tell me the price of the one that I bought. I just paid for it and left. I understand it doesnt make sense to bring up something that occurred last year in a recent review, but I feel that the two times I visited this place they just wanted me gone.

Really really good chicken over rice, but sheesh the place could be alittle cleaner. And the workers serving the food are super sweaty and, use their forearm to wipe their faces. But the food is really good lol
They used to be very good but in recent time their behavior and service deteriorated which is frustrating! And the premises of outside sitting place is dirty. They don’t seemed to be cleaned it which they used to do before! On top of that they didnt use glove while preparing the gyro and also didn’t clean the utensils. Didn’t look like they do care much about equipment cleaning. So we switched to other gyro places.
Taste was very good. But rice was not fresh.
I am very disappointed with quality of chicken it smells really bad. I bought 2 mix over rice. It’s 6 44 pm . The quality of food was better before lockdown. I don’t know what happened.
While there are other gyro places around this is yet another great place to have some great food.What makes this place stand out from all the other places nearby us their Lamb Tikka. This one of their most tastiest item. But be prepared to wait 20 minutes for it or call 20 minutes ahead, as its made fresh per order.

Great gyro place. Can get a good lamb over rice with a tasty salad that you can choose toppings. Inexpensive since it comes in such a big portion. Go to the store around the corner and get pita for a dollar. One rice platter order can feed two moderately hungry people.
Asalamu Alykum. Gyro hut is relatively a good spot to chow down on but the workers there are very uneasy. Im pretty sure if youre a customer you expect to be treated with the up most respect and also great costumer service. Ive been going here for 4 years and all the time I order my food and they get to the salad bar selection theyre very stingy (unwilling to give or ungenerous). Cause if youre spending your hard earn money at a place all the time cause you genuinely like eating there but they dont give you what you ask for how is that good customer service? Come on very poor customer service 6/10.Side note and I will post a video to a link showing how the workers literally give you FOUR pieces of shop cucumbers or anything from the salad bar.

This is a great place. Definitely! The foos is fresh, juicy, flavorful and aesthetically satisfying. The staff is always kind, friendly and ready to help eliminate your hunger. I recommend the lamb gryo over rice with white sauce and bbq sauce. I promise you, it will change you life!!
Ive been going their for years, even after my family moved out of Brooklyn. Every time Im back I always make a stop. The lamb chicken gyro rice is amazing
The food is inexpensive, the service is quick, the people are (usually) friendly, and theyre open late. Their prices are the lowest in the area from what Ive seen and their food in no way suffers for it.You cant really ask for more from a gyro place.
Dominic is right, their white sauce is on point, and they make all their sauces by their own recipes. They also have a TV in there that they play Punjabi music videos on so you can get your jam on at four in the morning. Much love for the guys that work here, theyve got all the jokes and life advice you need.
I dont know whats going on here. But gyro hut was recommended to my friends and I by some people and we tried out several items: chicken over rice, mix over rice, chicken nuggets, and fries. Everything was pretty bad. Chicken was pretty tough and not flavorful (I didnt have the mix but my friends also said it wasnt good) the only good thing about the platters was the rice. The nuggets were mushy and no one went to try a second fry. Overall, no one finished anything. Maybe this is a hit or miss place. If so, we def missed it.....by a mile

Very consistent, clean and saladful gyro place with options of lamb/chicken or mix gyros where you choose quantities of salad and pickles. Beside gyro, options span from cheese burgers to philly sandwiches to salmon to traditional Chapli Kebab and some fried stuff. For years place is busy on daily bases which means higher tendancy of fresh ingredients. If you drive to it, parking is tricky and challenging. The long line may be a patience tester.

This place has the best falafel sand which around. What really makes it is the white sauce. There must be crack in there cuz its so good. Also theyre open 24 hr and have always been so friendly to me.Ps you get to watch some dope Pakistani music videos while you wait for your food

2022-04-19Solid. Nothing fancy but I’ve had plenty of gyros and shawarma in nyc and this one is very consistent. I go for the chicken and lamb mix platter and like to add my vegetable toppings. Also there is a good sized outdoor eating area...also not fancy but does the trick.

2022-03-02DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE IF YOURE VEGETARIAN OR VEGAN. My partner is vegan and ordered the falafel flame wrap. What she got was a wrap with stuffed grape leaves (wrapped around rice and beef). She didnt realize until it was too late, and was violently sick the rest of the night. They dont even have a wrap with stuffed grape leaves on their menu! Do not give them your money.

2022-04-20Gyro Hut has decent food. I would recomend taking out rather than eating inside due to the fact that the inside isnt anything special. The gyro here is good enough and its overall a decent place to grab a quick to go meal.

2022-07-02This is the very very best halal food in Brooklyn coney island I love it the staff here is wonderful I pretty much know all of them they are clean very friendly and respectful I have been ordering from here for the past 2+ years and I always go here whenever I get a chance I probably get something from this place once or twice or more a month every month food is awesome I know the family here as well I have nothing bad to say about this place try it and you wont regret it i guarantee you will be coming back for more me and my uncle love this place 😀 lol

2022-06-30I placed an order for the Greenpoint location and they charged my card. 45 min later someone called me yelling, that my order is cancelled and I should have ordered from somewhere else. Also heard a woman in back yelling that the person on the phone should just hang up on me.

2022-05-28I just relaized today that I am a local guide. When did that happen? Lol Hi!So this is an edited review update from last year. I prefer hospitality along with food or else the food doesnt taste good. I finally came across the owner Mr.Aslam. Allah made ammends I finally met him, his service hospitality made up for the previous last encounter with a last year employee. Owner was behaving like a gem of a human. Ofcourse! I come back and forth always cause of the food. This is my favorite fish spot on sabbath/jummua. They also have the best chicken tikka and mixed platter. This is the best grilled spot for flavors of lamb, fish and chicken cooked in a south asian style. 4 stars is for the FOOD and incl. Hospitality of the owner. Lost a star only because, its a dhaba styled restaraunt, no seating place or else the food is my most favorite spot anywhere really. When they have a seating styled restaurant I can give them 7 stars not 5 lol. Enjoy!

2022-01-20Been coming here for the past 12 years! the food is a hit or miss the service is garbage. You can call in advance, for pick up, in order to save time because some people have a limited lunch break and are very busy at work, and they constantly take your order over the phone but when you get there the order is never ready! Annoying!!!!
