Service speed was good enough. They had different payment options and I think they except cryptocurrency as well.About the food, I can say, it was fulfilling. Not distinctly tasty, but it was fine.I ordered mixed gyro 🥙 on pita, it was literally gyro on pita, its not like wrap 🌯 so it gets sloppy as you eat... Maybe thats the fun part but I couldnt enjoy it.I liked the chicken tenders🍗 they were crispy outside and really soft inside. I would go back there again for tenders.
Masha Allah...I miss this place so much. I had to move back to Egypt to attend personal matters, but when I was on Staten Island, I used to go there every time after the Friday prayer (Salatul Jumuah). I always used to have either the chicken or the lamb. Great food and nice employees. I didnt have a chance to try the rest of the menu. Prices were great. Best food you can get for 6 or 7 bucks.Suggested improvements: (1) increase portions a little bit, (2) the table next to felt a little loose last time I was there so please fix it.Please send my regards/salams to the owner. I dont know if its the guy behind the cash register, but hes the one I always used to see.
They never get the order right.. I tell them I wanted fried wings and fries but instead they give me cold thighs and legs that took 2 hours to get.. Bad customer service.. When you call to order the girl act like she doesn’t understand English

Absolutely garbage food. They didn’t get my order in place and they forgot all the sauce. They burnt the chicken to crisp. I would not ever go back again.

I love this place. By far the best gyros and lamb over rice in the island. Not to mention their wings are actually really good—my whole family loves them. During quarantine they were my go to for a quick affordable meal. I don’t live too far so I always set it for pick up because 1- it’s cheaper and 2- if you pay cash you get a discount as well. They’re located in a lot next to Verizon and it’s very convenient because I don’t need to look for parking or risk a ticket to get my food. The staff is also super friendly!

1 of my favorites if you are looking for delicious gyros or better yet chicken & lamb over rice with salad platter they give you so much and the pita is always fresh!! Their fried whiting fish is the BEST!!! I will always continue to go here for yummy halal food made fresh and served fast!! They keep up with covid 19 precautions also
They make you go online even if talking to them on the phone, make you go thru all this crazy only to either overcharge or tell you they aint delivering

Love this place.. I try to go once a week., Hello it is me that visits you once a week for 2 lamb gyros 1 meal. I came here back in 2012 from the West and was in awe of the food. I even came here for our wedding lunch. Best Lamb Gyros anywhere i have ever tasted. Fries are Delicious and fresh. Been back to visit since 2017 and can not get enough of this place. I will miss it dearly when i head back out west. The Chefs and the Front counter gal are Great!! Will always come here when i am out east to eat...
I love Gyro King. Ive been patronizing this establishment for years and not only is the food good but the customer service is excellent! The red and white fries, spicy chicken sandwich, and gyros are my favorite foods to order.

Gyro King is legit, chicken Gyro hits the spot. Chicken fingers are good. Always give plenty of sauces on the side. I’m usually suspicious of places like this but runs a great spot. T

Without question, the best channa masala I have ever had. My entire office fell in love with this place. The food is beyond excellent and the owner is an incredible guy who really cares.

Just had a lamb gyro that was delicious, if ordering on the go, get the sauce on the side and do it up once you get home. King status for sure. Service was super fast.

Never knew of the place, never went in before, but the food was delicious :3 I loved the seasoning on the meat and the sauce! The environment is super chill and it has a wonderful view of the street. Called to place a large order for delivery (over $150), however the delivery location was 1 mile more than their delivery circle of 4 miles.........they would not go the extra mile.........so sorry you lost the order........
I really like their balaclava and I their mix lamb and chicken schawarma along with their white sauce. It was fresh down to the white sauce. Great flavors and everythings tasted good. The only things I say is the ordering is a bit quick, and they can rush you in ordering which can come off a bit rude. But otherwise good food.
This place is the only place I go to for my middle eastern food. I practically eatting most of the menu and they are super great. Not only is the food great but the people that work there give off the friendliest energy , and when they talk to you it Id like they knew you forever. If you want good food this is definitely the place to go.
Ive been here a few times. The folks here remember you and treat you like family. I get the lamb gyro and its fantastic. And you cant beat the price. I absolutely recommend you give these guys a shot!
Great tasting Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food. Good sauces and the meats are pretty juicy. Only problem is everytime I eat here I end up with a case of the bubble guts. Worth it in my opinion though.

The man at the counter is very nice and helpful. I had a few questions and he took the time to answer them and was polite and courteous. Tha grape leaves are delicious! Whenever I am here visiting from Texas, I always stop in for their grape leaves.
I love this place, staff is always so nice! But the chicken over rice gyro is out of this world. I used to live in Staten island and come here a lot but dont have that luxury anymore. But if Im ever in staten island I buy a couple gyros to bring back to PA for everyone.

Not a place for a first date, but if you are with the wife the food is excellent! Best halal rice on the island. Cinnamon is in there I think... maybe a garam masala? Who cares! It is delicious!

Their soda in the fountain is flat and watered down. I got the chicken shawarma and lamb shawarma over rice. They werent shawarma at all its misleading. Its literally like the gyro carts i dont know why they call it shawarma. Over priced for the amount of food you get as well.

A delivery order of 30 to 40 mins took 2 hours plus to get to my door. i had to call to remind them. also they gave me something different from what i order. they dont deserve a star.

2022-03-27Food is mediocre but prepared quickly. Friendly enough staff. It wasn’t tasty and I needed to use my Goya Salad and Vegetable seasonings to bring it over the edge. Iceberg lettuce? Come on people do better. Overall, I’d go back if I was starving and nothing else was open but I wouldn’t make a special trip for this Falafel Salad.

2022-04-26The absolute worst chicken over rice…. The white sauce has a strong mint flavor that tastes like someone squeezed toothpaste into the blend. The meat is dry & the rice is flavorless…. I can’t believe how gross this was. I wasted my money… should’ve just gone to the Taco Bell next door.

2018-10-17My first time eating here, I was impressed. I had the chicken and lamb combo gyro. It was tasty and delicious. I was pleasantly surprised with how much meat was packed in the pita bread. The store is very small with only about three tables. For a small restaurant, the menu has four pages of dishes to pick from. The owners are very friendly and the service is fast.

2021-12-02If I can give negative 1 star I would.Service is horrible here expect your order to always be wrong or soggy and cold, over an hour wait every time. My personal experience was so unprofessional, they got the order wrong as always then when I called to complain because I told the girl over the phone 3 times not to mess it up this time they offered to send a fresh order the next day. I agreed then all of a sudden I wake up to text messages I received while asleep from the delivery person saying I ordered food and didn’t answer the door for them and they were waiting outside (around almost 12am). The next time I tried to order from them they tell me Im on the “do not deliver” list because of THEIR mistake.

2021-07-23We are originally from N.Y but throughout the years made our way to N.C and miss our good foods, that was until recently my husband went back on a trip and brought me back some Gyros from Gyro King. They made it through the trip still tasting the same as freshly made. Keep making those delicious foods. We will definitely go back for more 😋
