Cool underground bar and event space, bartenders are super friendly and there’s always something cool going down there. Come on a Tuesday and check out Dubday, a super fun weekly showcase of local artists and musicians.

Best place for bass music. Go here if you’re craving some up and coming artists and chill people.
Dirty place... it’s interesting what they’re trying to do. They just need better ventilation and scents. The place smells like mop water and an old car. But it is a cool concept. Music should be louder, visuals could be better, bartending could use some improvement.The crowd is different, almost introspective and murky and weird. Which some of you might like.They get some good djs though. You’ll get dnb, techno, and other dark or alternative or groovy stuff.With some improvements this place has potential.Give it a go for something different.

Dance floor is way way hot and I dont mean its poppin. Theres no A/C in the room with the dance floor and performer. Kind of disingenuous. Youll find great talent passing through here, though.
Where else can you go to find cutting edge experimental music eight days a week? also maybe even a slice of the real new york in this era of disnification. whether its live sets or djs, this spot is bringing serious players to the table. never seen a bad show here, all you have to do is turn up. highly recommended
Interesting event space, though main dance floor can get stuffy, even with the one AC running
The team at dub day has made a place where progressive thoughts and sounds could be accepted. HOLO was the space in which that idea was able to come alive and we thank the staff and venue for letting us use it on a weekely basis.
Came to support a friend tonight at an event. Doorman was rude. Took my money and didnt know how to put on a paper bracelet. The best part he refused to give me a bracelet and said its not important anyway after I paid for it. My friend got her leather jacket stolen here a few months back. Place of bad memories = h0L0

A friend curator Jackson held a show here. Had an amazing time, great gallery space and venue very spacious. Nice desolate area so also nice to chill outside.

Usually some pretty good DJs and sound system . Drinks a bit expensive, but the overall vibe is relatively relaxing in the bar area.

I expected more out of this place. There is a lot lacking including ventilation and they gotta get their drink and ambiance game on point if they want to have any weight in justifying the displacement

2021-10-19My experience there was great. However, this place is a classic NY City dump. It is fairly large with a spacious area outside in the back. The bar had the minimal selection of alcohol, and the bathrooms are dreadful. Only one bathroom was available.The staff are very friendly and inviting. If your looking to get down and dirty this place is for you. If your looking for a more modern, classy venue you will not find it here. This venue has outside seating, but I didnt see a menu or anyone eating. Not an ideal spot for both dancing and dining. The sound was great, because its really a underground basement separated into two rooms. My only suggestion is that you leave before the lights come on.

2021-09-05How well the venue is dressed up is based on the event youre coming to see. Ive seen the place really stacked with lights and decorations and it also left mostly as is. The place is set up in two portions the dancefloor in the back thats decently large and the bar hangout type place in the front where you can rest. They also have a decent amount of restrooms inside which is always a good thing.

2021-06-15First time at Holo! vibe is nice, music was great. giving it 4 stars out of 5 because it was kinda empty, even if it picked up later on. Anyway that night the crowd was nice. very easy socializing with others. I like it.

2021-09-11Great variety of spaces (make sure you get to the outdoor area). Not the greatest sound given its a concrete basement, but that gives it its own charm. Many fun memories at this place.

2019-10-22I give extra star because I played there and I like it personally. The problem with this place is that its in the middle of no where and I cant see anyone going here unless there is a big promoted event.

2019-04-03Surprisingly fantastic sound system in the back room of this place. I can imagine some intense thumping old school late night party scenes in the space here, the kinda no-questions asked nights where everyone pours out past 4AM bleary eyed and ears ringing, already planning their trip back the next night/weekend.
