Joey J is the absolute man! Best car salesman I’ve dealt with in my lifetime hands down. He was responsive and always got back to me from the moment I left my deposit on my beautiful m340i. I’ve shopped the car around for a month and they came back with the best deal right away. Waiting a month for the car was well worth it. Carlos the Genius is also a gentleman and made sure I understood the new iDrive 7 features. Great experience at BMW of Bay Shore!
After a few weeks of looking for a replacement for my vehicle, I came across Habberstad BMW, I called and inquired about a specific car, and it was spoken for. Vic took the time to go over my requirements and worked with me to find a fantastic truck that had everything I wanted and so much more. I did a test drive, went over the vehicle in fine detail, and Vic answered my questions. The finance department worked overtime to get me a great deal and explain all available options. The entire experience was a delight, with no pressure, great attitudes, and down to earth. I am thrilled with my vehicle purchase and experience at Habberstad BMW. Thank you to all of the staff.
Troy at Habberstad is the best- this is my second BMW purchase with him and from beginning to end the process was flawless. He understood my need, desired budget and all I had to do was show up and pick the car up. Did I mention I worked with Troy over the phone? Dealing with Vick, was an absolute pleasure. He listened to my concerns, established a trusting relationship and was able to get me everything I wanted in a vehicle and much more! When push came to shove, Vick was able to custom order me my x3m40 and have it delivered in record time. ~2 weeks from the factory! Unheard of!! Carlos at BMW bayshore is the absolute best! I leased my 2019 4 series through him a few years ago and had such an amazing experience with him that I decided to lease my next ( and now new) car with him! He helped me lease my new 2022 X3 , virtually all over the phone and computer. All I had to do is visit the showroom for 30 mins to sign forms, set up my new car and drive it out ! I will continue to recommend Carlos to all of my family, friends and clients- and he is stuck with me forever for my future cars!

My second time using habberstad BMW of Bay shore. Last year my vehicle was in for a faulty passenger rear window motor.Recently this year found that the vehicle had the same problem. Immediately contacted Habberstad set up an appointment with George the service manager.He handled my service. This time the window regulator failed and damaged the new motor I had replaced last year. George helped warranty new motor and fix the problem. He also found an oil leak and took care of all necessary services that my vehicle was due for. Thank you George for following through and handling my service from start to finish. In addition thank you for saving us money!

But In reality the true experience with the person who attended us his name is Carlos Villegas es a wonderful person excellent friendly professional person. Very attentive to my concerns. Addresses and make necessary repairs. My service advisor notifies me in a timely manner via text or email of my auto repair. I live in Brooklyn so whenever I have to leave the car overnight, Habberstad BMW of Bayshore provides a Loaner car.
Great transparent service. They will send you a video of your car’s inspection before any work is done, so that you can clearly see what work may need to be done beforehand. Clean establishment. I only wish they didn’t return my EV to me with a fully-drained battery - and they have a charging station on the property, which makes such an issue pretty egregious!

I hope this review reaches the right employee or employer that cares for honest reviews. The place was easily a 5 star place since 2018-2020 where I met a great staff who helped me basically rebuiltd my second hand bought bmw. Through this relationship I ended up purchasing from bmw a new 3 series and a few staff members have changed over the years. I must say as of 2021/2022 the place has dramatically lowered its customer satisfaction conduct. I literally pay bmw for my bmw ---and now apparently thats all I needed for them to stop caring about my business!! (guess Im in the system job well done to the dealers ..) constantly miscommunicating service repairs/appts/ and details. They dont work too well with you either once your nerves are struck. This isnt intended to be a dont shop here message because I still feel the products available are top of the line as well as the store still operating quite well, this is more meant to point out that although this is a good place to buy a vehicle still, it doesnt mean that it wasnt a GREAT place that devolved to just a good one. I expect better if I am being frank
I have purchased cars in the past and this is the first time that I didn’t feel like I was being “sold”. I felt like my needs were taken into consideration and I was a real person who needed a car-not a quota that needed to be satisfied. I had a 10/10 experience purchasing my vehicle through Robert at Habberstad BMW. Rob and the staff there were professional, knowledgeable, and ultimately made this the easiest and most pleasant buying experience Ive ever had, which is wild considering I drove 5.5 hours from NH to Bayshore NY. I would give a higher rating if it was possible!

My service advisor Giovanni Reyes at Habberstad BMW of Bay Shore is such a personable and attentive person and makes sure any concerns are addressed. He provides great customer service. He’s knowledgeable, and goes over my car with me before she goes in for planned services. I am guaranteed a loaner for the day, and within a few hours I’m back to pick up my very clean car. makes BMW makes it easy, and I like that. I also have to say that the mechanics go over your car and send you a very detailed inspection as to tires, breaks and what they will do in the date of service. They are always clear and descriptive. Service here is amazing!
Habberstad BMW missed the mark after I recently purchased a Mercedes E350 at this location. Two weeks prior I purchased a pre-owned 328 from Princeton BMW so I was able to compare both experiences as to why the two stars. The vehicle I purchased at Habberstad was sold at a good price, but, they failed with how they delivered. My sales rep Greg was nice and the finance rep was ok in details when signing. It’s after signing when all went south with no handshake after completing. Walked out of the office and finance rep went to talk with others at the front counter. After making such a purchase we were basically done to this dealership. He did not walk us to find our rep just left us there. We stood around waiting for Greg for awhile not knowing where to go. Finally saw Greg and he brought us the car and that was it. There was a different rep who swapped out our plates and walked us to the car then offered to help with the Bluetooth setup which was ok. Looking outside of the car it did appear washed, but, the wash now revealed several nicks. Here is where the comparison from Habberstad is completely different than Princeton. The vehicle I purchased at Princeton was less in price than the vehicle I purchased at Habberstad and yet they touched up any little scratches on the vehicle where Habberstad did not. The inside of the vehicle from Habberstad was barely clean where I had to clean it when I got home. Inside the vehicle there was even a scratched area that was covered in electrical tape. What was really bad was a side panel inside the vehicle was coming off and was my only request to Greg to be fixed and I was assured it would be and Greg told me it was - was not. It appeared to be glued and popped out breaking before we got home (a $800 repair now that I have to get done on this vehicle in less than one day). Honestly either Princeton BMW is over the top when taking care of their customers or Habberstad BMW was just like any dirt lot car dealer. Very very sloppy and bad customer service. Unfortunately I live over 2 hours away from the dealership. I went there because of the vehicle good price as well as hoping to have the same BMW experience I did from Princeton... big mistake.**** Follow Up to Response from Habberstad *****I contacted Larry Strauch the General Sales Manager at this location. He was pleasant and said he was going to call me back to make things right. It’s been 3 weeks since I made that call and have yet to receive a call back from Larry. Very poor customer service. I may look like an outcast here with a bad review, but, it’s very strange how the five star good reviews are coming from “people” who only reviewed once in their entire life and it was for this dealership. 🤔
First time using them for service and they were great. Brought my 650-I in for a tire issue and Anthony , the service tech was nothing but professional. I have the tire and rim insurance and he dealt with it with no pushy sales tactics at all. Will continue to use them and highly recommend them.Great experience with my second time using them. I had the DINAN exhaust installed and my rims powder coated . George and his team in the service dept did an unbelievable job , constant communication via text and email to keep me informed during the work process , couldn’t be happier with the job they did ..10 stars if I could !
First time ever purchasing a BMW I worked with Paul and Vic back in may of 2021. These guys were amazing knew exactly what I wanted helped me build my dream car. They made the ordering process extremely easy and explained every option in detail. I special ordered a new 2022 m240i it was a great experience, from the professionalism at the dealer to the time I picked up the car. I Felt like a valued customer while I was there and when it came time for paperwork it was a night and day experience compared to other dealerships where u could be there for hours. Every feature of the car was explained to me by a BMW Genius. Overall 10/10 definitely recommending friends and family to Habberstad if they are looking for a new BMW

2021-10-29Dishonest people who don’t follow through with promises. STAY AWAY!I bought a 2020 BMW Z4 a month and half ago and I am fatigued chasing them to deliver what they promised.They told me it is almost like brand new with no scratches, no issues, and they were reassuring me that I don’t have to fly out to check myself. They were saying how reputable they are and nobody ever had an issue getting a car shipped. They also told me I will receive two keys and one key card. I ended up receiving a car with bunch of scratches on the bumper (pictures attached) and one key.After chasing them for weeks they have sent me the second key that doesn’t work (key card never arrived) also the manager promised to compensate for the scratches with a free brake package and didn’t honor his promise (I have email exchanges to prove this and the trucking company documented the scratches also had the dealership sign off on it).I have kindly emailed the manager few times about the free brake package he promised and notified that the key card didn’t arrive and the second key isn’t working but he is ghosting me instead.Every interaction was a red flag from the beginning. They were dismissive on the phone when I inquired first thinking a young lady wouldn’t buy this car. The inclination in the salespersons voice was just disrespectful but I ignored this because I really wanted this car. He gave me one price over the phone then sent me an invoice closer to $10k over of what we have discussed. I called him out on it he finally changed to the price he promised back pedaling that this was human error, he had multiple mistakes in the applications I had to chase him down to fix these, when I notified about the scratches he insulted me with an offer to send me $100 and advised me to do touch ups. I spoke with a reputable & credible body shop locally they said that will cost at least $1000 to fix and that was just judging by the pictures. It may cost more but definitely not less. Later, the sales manager promises to call me back with a proposal to make this right. He never calls then I persistently call few times a week and he doesn’t call back. I finally get in touch via emails he promises the key and to give the brake package and as mentioned previously fails to deliver. These last few weeks he started ghosting me and leaving me no choice but to seek legal action. I have a strong case because everything I say I can back with metadata and documentation. What a shame that this day and age this is the service a woman can get at a “reputable” dealership. I am fatigued over a month and half chasing these folks to honor their word.~Ani

2021-09-30It took me a while to make a decision if to go with Benz or BMW, so I decided to give them both a try and see who would of have made me more comfortable and welcomed. I have to say, Habberstad sales rep (Joseph Jacino) made me feel like he cared and I wasnt just a sale number. He did a lot even after hours he try to help me understand the process and what I should expect. He treated me like if I was already approved for the vehicle, he was amazing. I really appreciate what he did and going beyond to do whatever it took to make me happy. After him I met with Justin his finance manager, another person that welcomed me with a great personality, he kept the contract process as quick as possible. I think between the 2 visits, I spent about 3 hours max... I have to say my experience with this dealership gets 5+ stars. #BMW 2022 #X3 series. Thank you!

2021-09-05After BMW had my car for 2 weeks for issues including washer fluid not coming out of a wiper, I get my car back and notice the fluid still isn’t working properly. (It’s been 4 days since I picked it up at the dealership). After testing the wipers again in my driveway, I notice the fluid is draining directly out of my car onto the driveway…on BOTH sides of the car! There are currently 2 puddles under the car and you can watch the fluid heavily leak out after attempting to use it on the windshield.Frustrated, I call the dealership and when I attempt to leave my name for a message to call back, the salesman (Paul) decides to end the call as I am giving him time to copy my first name and waiting to say my last. When I call back, Paul claims he never spoke to me and again is rude, talks over me, and again tried to end the call without giving me a chance to give my name.To back track to only my most recent experience, as there are many, I arrived to pick up my car after 2 weeks, to see stains on the trunk and hood of the car, that the young man that drove it up the the front for me, was unable to get off - even though they claim to wash the car before returning it to you. Vincent the service managed, suggested I come back AGAIN to have it detailed by them. He was unbothered and unapologetic about the state of the car, in addition to someone’s water bottle being left in my cup holder which is absolutely disgusting. His nonchalant attitude carried over to my showing him the state of the loaner car I was giving, which was extremely gross. Smudges, food crumbs, hair ties, lay throughout the car, in addition to the broken passenger side lock. Once, a bag of what seemed to be fertilizer, laid strewn across the trunk of a loaner I was given.This is one of many examples of the complete lack of quality and professionalism exhibited by this dealership.Go somewhere else.

The men who welcome you to the service department are friendly & willing to assist. Rudy Alanis, service advisor, is very professional, competent & reliable. He always answers texts immediately whether it is to make an appointment, access a loaner car, ensure your vehicle is taken care of as well as makes sure your service is completed in a timely manner. The inspection videos from the minute you pull in along with the videos from the service provider make you feel confident that your car is in good hands. 2022-03-20We had such a pleasant experience with Carlos! We went back to the dealer because of Carlos to start with as he helped us getting our previous car; we were not happy with our years long dealership as they had some turn over with their people. Carlos made everything very easy for us, he ensured we spent the minimum time at the dealership by sending the paperwork upfront and getting all the information we need. We will be going back to the dealership to replace the first car he got for us 😊 Hard to find such a great advisor as Carlos out there, very lucky to have found him.

2022-02-08Made an appointment for an oil change and my car threw me a code the morning of. How convenient! I could not have had a better experience than at Bay Shore. I felt welcomed the minute I pulled in. Everybody was great! Giovannni was amazing. He listened to and addressed ALL of my concerns. I normally do my own oil changes and light maintenance work because I dislike the idea of dealerships but I’m sold on the service I received and will definitely be back.

2022-01-02Greg has been my advisor for many years and 3 bmws later. This purchase was quick and easy. Greg worked with me to get the best possible trade-in price with my 2017 3 series which allowed for my new purchase. I absolutely love my new car and I feel great doing my part to help the planet with lower emissions and less gasoline. This car is a real game changer and Greg is easy to work with, and is extremely knowledgeable. Keep up the great work Greg!

2022-01-27Carlos was outstanding! We had been to a different dealer that told us we could not get a touch screen in a new X5 due to the chip shortage. When we met Carlos he explained the process for getting the touch screen and it took a few weeks, but we got exactly what we wanted. Straight talk, no nonsense, great service.
