Poor excuse for a respectable Pakistani restaurant. Avoid is possible and if you cannot double and triple check your food. I very rarely write negative reviews, but the staff severely cheated me on my order and by the time I was home I had 1/2 my order.We called up ahead this morning for 6 portions of halwa-puri. We arrived it was ready, we paid and left. He assured us that all was there. When we got home we had the correct number of puri and halwa but 1/2 the amount of channa. So we all ate 1/2 as much as we should have. Disgusting staff ruined our breakfast.Ps. This establishment doesn’t take card, it points you towards their in store atm and hides their tax. Good luck removing this post from the web / IRS.
Food was fresh and tasty .I got half chickpeas and half chicken curry over rice .I went last Sunday. My order was taken correctly and it warm enough to eat and enjoy.
Cold food. Goat curry smells haleem tasted like garam masala only !!! Cold kababs not the taste it had when it opened first. Very disappointed!!! Had to leave the food without finishing it. Took 2 bites paid in full and left.
If you are in the mood for traditional Indian/Pakistani food, are looking in Brooklyn- then head to Hadi. They had so many delicious entrees on display. We could not decide. The kind lady behind the counter made us a couple of sample plates. One had chicken w spinach, gosht masala, masala chana, and saag (spinach) concoction. The other plate had their fried snacks. Couple the 2 sample plates with chicken biryani, 2 garlic naan, fajita, green chutney and mango lassi - we had ourselves a royal feast. Oh my! It was hard walking out. I needed someone with a wheel barrow to roll me out. DELICIOUS!!!
The food is delicious, you get a very good portion for the price, and the staff is some of the friendliest Ive ever encountered. Ill definitely be back the next time Im in the area.
Very good food pakistani indian cuisine and thier thier food is always fresh and very tasty 100 % recommended and the tast of the food and staff is also very good and sweets are best sweets in New York i am in love with this restaurant go with family or ask for home delivery by different service my family and friends always love it
Went at around 6pm not sure if their food is fresh earlier but i had a bad experience with the food. I saw the guy throwing the food in the microwave and i knew it was going to be bad.
Decent Indian food, but served cold. Aloo Gobi was ok. Goat was good. Roti were excellent. Sweets were ok. Not as good as Medina was but that is unfortunately gone.
Really excellent food and service. Highly recommended. Looking forward to going again soon!

Poori were like flour tortilas (old). Naan burnt, channy wasnt good at all. Seems like never gonna visit them again, really disappointing. But their kheer is most delicious here in Brooklyn.

Food is very disappointing. I order samosa and got something else. Never seen a samosa like this. Naan Bread is very thick and not soft enough. I’d not be ordering here again.
If you love true authentic Pakistani food, this is the place. The fried fish, the shish kabob, the spinach, there were too many dishes to list. Everything was amazing. And the people are super nice too

You can tell this place is good by the taxi drivers lined up for the spicy Punjabi cuisine. I love this place. Great meal and usually under $10. Vegetarian options and delicious desserts. My Kurdish friend loved this food also

Hadi Resturant is comprised of totally arrogant n ill behaved staff with poor customer service Their food is below average with very high rates I will recommend not to have food from this Resturant which is selling quite undesirable standard of food beside pushing the customers to buy that food by all cost by their ill behaved staff .

I usually like their food. And the price are reasonable. The reason I am writing this review because the stuff behind the counter gave me some ordinary sweets instead of Rasmalai. And we only realize when we returned home and unpacked the items. It seems the sweets werent sold out for a while due to COVID-19 situation. Guess what? eventually the causes causes food poisoning and upset stomach.Please note I also had nun, chicken curry, and Kashmiri tea with the same order.
They have great varity in food and we love eating there but i felt due being ramzan month they cook early when i bought food and ate after 1hr it was stale. The dahi Vad was freash and tasted great. Will definately go back but after Ramzan eid.
Amazing Pakistani restaurant, the staff is absolutely wonderful, really friendly. They have a good sized hall. They have a large variety of sweets that taste very good. Many different salaan options. You can get your food quickly with no unnecessary extra wait time unless it’s a busy hour. Very good place to go to
The restaurant food and staff are both great! I always get a naan kebab roll and it is prepared quickly while maintaining its quality. Definitely would recommend. It is also my go-to Pakistani restaurant on that block filled with Pakistani restaurants.

I’ve been there for more than a couple of times and the food we ordered was very fresh everything they have the cleanliness of the restaurant is best. I think it’s the best restaurant available near the residence and work places of most asian community. You might notice a little expensive compared to other restaurants in the area but the food quality is exceptional. This is a must try place if you like to have Indian or Pakistani food.
This was so good. The only down part is everything had a kick to it. My daughter isnt used to spicy foods yet so it was hard for her to eat. The sweets were alright not something Id go crazy for and have to have again. They honestly were to sweet and tasted like they had some alcohol in them. I would go back maybe just not with my daughter.

Nice and polite workers are there. Food seems made with love and big experience! Iv tried brown rice, lamb stew and eggplants which were delicious! Also I loved sweets. Some of them had unfamiliar taste and I really want to know what is made of.

I love the food from this restaurant. It tastes great and you can’t beat the price. Staff is very helpful and friendly. My favorite is sheesh kebab, chicken tikka, chicken karhai, lamb karhai and garlic naan. Their chai (doodh patti) is absolutely amazing.

Amazing Desi food!! Especially lamb chops are worth eating!!! Need improving on seating environment though. Staff is also helpful. In summary its a place u should visit if u have a Nick for Desi Indian food.

We usually go to Hadi to get Pakistani food. The variety of food is very nice but I am giving one star less for the cleanliness and promptness of service. They could do better on these two areas to deserve a 5 star.
Food is poti! The falooda I had was bitter and the ice didnt look clean had a bad aftertaste in my mouth paid 6 bucks! The butter chicken wasnt fresh at all and taste dry as hell. The naan was only decent.
Nice and clean place to eat, they have separate family sitting areaand clean restroom.
EDIT: I originally gave this restaurant a bad review (below). My coworker eats here so Ive come here a few times, the service is actually great. Each time I came the people here have been very nice, and my food from here has been delicious. I highly recommend these guys.OLD REVIEW-Went here with my mom for some kashmiri chai, literally heated water with milk. Terrible, got a refund and left.

One of the most clean, guest and cost friendly restaurant in the neighborhood.They are friendly. Clean tables. Sometimes their customer service is a bit delayed but they are good with customer relations.they have a party hall and 2 restrooms that are equipped with sanitary items.
Whenever Im in Brooklyn I make sure I stop by this little gem of a restaurant. They have great authentic Middle Eastern and South Asian food. The service is great, but the staff friendly and courteous, the final star 🌟 belongs to the prices which are very good and economical.

Excellent Indian and Pakistani food! I’ve had the chicken kebab, okra, butter chicken, peas and potatoes, garlic naan, and paratha and everything was delicious. I also recommend the pink Kashmiri tea. All tasty, flavorful, and affordable.They also have a super friendly and welcoming staff. It’s a nice relaxed neighborhood spot. I’ll definitely be back!

I just ordered from there for a party of 25 people. The tandoori chicken legs had no flavor whatsoever and they were not cooked properly. The chicken biryani was dry and just plain horrible. That is the first and last time I order from there!
Listen.. Im very pickie with what I eat. The owner greeted me outside and said just try it. I did and he brought me a sample of everything. The bread was one of the best nan Ive had. And it was covered with garlic. I will be visiting my sister alot more just so I can eat here again. Wonderful experience..

Went to Brooklyn (NY) to visit family. Decided to go to Hadi Restaurant to eat. Food was good, prices were also good. As of the date of this review (8/11/19), this is what the prices were for some items: Roti $.50, Naan $1.00, Chicken Biryani $5.00, Butter Chicken $6.00...Customer service was very good.Will definitely be going back to Hadi Restaurant, next time we go to Brooklyn.
THE BEST SERVICE EVER KNOWN ON CONEY ISLAND AVENUE OR FOR ANY PAKISTANI RESTAURANT IN ITS EXISTANCE. I TRULY CANT SAY THE BEST FOOD but we repeatedly get food from them every other day only because of their service... Shehzad bhai and brother Raza and if im missing anyone on my mind to remember are truly the only reason we go there... its the service...food goes in and goes right out lol but client services are what keep us coming back!! there people hands down have the best customer service skills as a south asian restaurant...desi people ya know lol but ya 5 stars to little of stars to give this one

Best Food and Customer Service. We came to Visit New York and my parents are visiting me from Lahore Pakistan we read the reviews and decided to stop here, they have the best Lohri Fish, Karahi, Roghni Nan and Kashmiri Chai. 100% Recomended
Genuine Pakistani restaurant with counter self-service or table service. Food is the real deal with a good selection and this restaurant is frequented almost exclusively by the local surrounding Pakistani community (there are other similar Pakistani restaurants nearby). Food is served on plastic plates and utensils.
We booked to come here for a party hall. This people don’t serve 1 or 2 items when they served the food. I told them 8:00 and they did at 9:45. I told them to serve the dessert and they after my guest left. We were really disappointed with service and please go elsewhere for your party.

The place has nice people and deliver food really quickly but i’m sorry they HAVE to improve their food. Everything I ordered (except the naan) tasted bad. I don’t mind paying more, they just need to make the food taste better.

I travel from Baltimore Maryland with my family for New York to get boys haircuts in Jackson heights and decided to check new restaurant ending up in Hadi restaurant 683 Coney Island Brooklyn New York, people at counter greet us with warm welcome, I requested that we travel 200 miles away, make sure food is good, they deliver the food wasn’t cooked properly, lamb chops was raw ( uncooked red inside) we ordered (1) paya(2)lamb chop (3)chicken Achari (4) chicken tikka (5)butter chicken (6)kabobs, I swear to Allah none of one dish was cooked, we called owner and showed the red uncooked meat etc, he said every body has different tastes, I said I’m not talking about taste, I’m talking about bad quality food, then he said read our reviews, I told him I own two business in Baltimore and I know how reviews works, most of them fake, but instead he apologize and provide us good food he was arguing for nothing, we left food on table and paid the bill and ended in Jackson heights and eat lunch at Dera restaurant, I know saif nagra owner of Dera restaurant , he welcomes us and had nice lunch with outstanding customer service as always, tahir shah

Bought naan and chanay from them. Naans were awesome. Chanay were ok. They also gave sweet rice to try out and I didnt like them at all. Their customer service was good.

I read order in yelp app about their delivery and I was unsure if what the lady said is true or not I said Im not gonna judge I have to try it first by myself,I called them to make Dilivery which is 15 min away from them with the bike ,they took my order and asked me about the address and how far it is I told them ,they said sorry we dont have dilivery .really you took my order ,ask about the address and then u telling me no delivery?!!
If youre tired of the pricey food on Cortelyou Road heres a great restaurant that will fill you up and wont kill your wallet. They are also open late so when hunger hits at 12am give this place a try

2022-04-28I ordered from this place twice, on two consecutive days. Same exact order, same price. First time portions were generous and food was good, so I thought I found a new favorite takeout spot. Second time food was just as good, but the containers were small, all in all less than half of the amount of food compared to previous day. In the photo first order containers are on the left, second order on the right, appreciate the size difference. This is no way to treat repeat customers. I will not be back.

2022-06-25I have never had such a horrible experience ordering food. Some of it was tasty but most of it was wrong. Ordered two orders of samosas (2pc each) but received only 2 samosas, not four. Ordered aloo palak in vegetarian section and mine came with chicken! No sauces for samosas or anything. The rest of the order was disappointing except the breads. On top of that, two items had sauces spill throughout the bag, despite the wasteful packaging! I tried calling to rectify the issues and two people spoke to me and didn’t care, nor were they at all helpful.Save yourself the misery and do NOT order from this very unprofessional restaurant.

2022-03-08Food flavor wise is not good. Have had way better butter chicken and chicken rice. The samosas were half empty inside and cold. The chicken rice was cold too. The keema paratha was warm and ok. I will rather order from Taj Mahal for Indian food. I ate a bit because I was hungry and threw everything out. Big waste of my money, sighsssss.

2022-07-01I had a recent party at this hall, and the owners were rude to say the least. My family paid money to rent this room for a few hours in order to enjoy ourselves without going over the top. As soon as I walked in, I immediately noticed how dirty the floors, bathroom, chair and tables were. No one clearly cleaned the room at all from the night before. We tried our best to communicate to the staff that this was the issue. There also were leftover decorations from the previous parties that we had to point out for them to trash. Overall we did our best to clean the place for our guests to enjoy but no one should have to clean or go threw all that when your paying for something. I will not be hosting any more parties here. First and last time.

2022-03-24Highly recommended restaurant at Coney, The food here is very good and fresh. their prices are reasonable as well. This restaurant is doing very well due to the new management. The first management was not good at all and was rude. Raza is the best one and very friendly with everyone and has taken great care whenever I go.

2022-06-01Let me start off by saying I never ever leave reviews but this place is definitely worth talking about. I’m very hesitant in trying new places but this place def takes the cake. This place exceeded all my expectations! Everything was outstandingly delicious! From the samosas down to the naans & salans. Even the dessert had me wanting more and I don’t even have such a big sweet tooth!!!! Everything was served hot and fresh. My absolute favorite were the garlic naans!!! At one point I was just eating the naan by itself and placed another order just so I can take some home. This place def reminded me of Pakistan. The ambiance and aroma itself had me reminiscing. The staff was very welcoming and respectful and the place was meticulously clean! They also have a catering hall on the side which is amazing! Pretty spacious for birthdays and family gatherings. After my first amazing experience I held my daughters first birthday party there as well and I couldn’t have been more happier. Everyone at the party kept raving about the food and the service. Some of the guests even asked for togo containers because of how good the food was. Overall this place is one of the best I’ve ever had. If you ever want a taste of back home and want to leave with a blissful feeling then this is the place to be!!!!!!!

2022-06-07Worst food, that is not fresh and meat is not halal the owners are just good to tackle the ppl by giving them a big smile and making them fool.I feel sorry for the ppl who eat from there with that low quantity food as they are giving haram meat as they mixup the meat and so greedy that they don’t even waste the expire food and use it as giving it free with some main order and God knows who are the ppl eating it n enjoy the food.Don’t compromise on this low quality food when you have a lot more options around.
