Hampton has been very supportive In processing my CPAP machine. I am a brand new customer to Hampton and must comment that Ruth went above and beyond in assisting me and following up to ensure the CPAP was provided in a timely manner. The tech that delivered and explained the CPAP was very knowledgeable and helpful.All in all a good experience. I have switched from another health care company and will be staying with Hampton and referring them in the future.
I had a very good experience from programming the date of the delivery of my machine to meeting via FaceTime with the technician (Andrew) who helped me set it up to my first night of using the machine & seeing the results in the morning. A total success which has empowered me to continue with my therapy!!! Thank you to Hampton Care & it’s team!!!
Been a customer for years getting my CPAP supplies. Always a few weeks late for my every 3 month supplies but never a big deal since I have a stockpile at home. First time in years I needed customer service and I cant even talk to anyone there. Customer service is NON EXISTENT! Will be transferring my account somewhere else. If I could have given them a 0, I would have.
I received my CPAP machine two days right after they called me saying that they had sent it out. They set up an e-visit appointment on FaceTime for me with Dominic and he was amazing and beyond helpful. Dominic explained everything so thoroughly to ensure that I knew exactly how to set it up and how to use it. He took his time to answer any questions I had and really seemed to care. His experience and expertise really showed during the the time of my appointment. I would definitely recommend speaking to Dominic if you can get him for setting up a new CPAP machine! Thank you for the best customer service!!
I am not sure why the company gets all these bad reviews but I have to say at the outset as I am a brand new customer I dont have yet any reason to discredit them. I was delivered my new CPAP timely and Stewart was very professional though slightly firm in disseminating instructions on the use of the machine He took careful time to explain the mechanism of the CPAP. No complaints. I hope to have a wonderful experience with the company.
The worst customer service ever. I called on 4/23 for a new face mask because the one I had tore. I was eligible through my insurance for a new one. Was told I could not come and pick it up because of COVID-19 protocols. I received a letter from my insurance saying my claim was approved on 4/23. As of today 5/10 I still hadn’t received my mask. When I called this morning to find out why, they said that it was in fact approved and would ship out today. When I asked why it hadn’t been shipped out when it was approved I was told they “didn’t know”. Terrific, thanks again Hampton Home Care for allowing me to struggle to sleep for over two weeks because someone there was either too lazy or just plain incompetent. Way to go!
I am a WTC First Responder Patient. Hampton Homecare has been taking care of my medical supply needs for several years. I have been treated quite well. The customer service has been great. I would like to make a special mention regarding excellent customer service for Cindy, Kristina, and Sonya.
This place needs to be investigated for criminal negligence. They cancelled my supplies order because of non-compliance. But they never cared to call me and tell me that the order was cancelled due to non-compliance issues. I was left in dark, waiting for my supplies which never arrived. I was using old supplies. In this time of Covid they virtually played with my health. A lung infection could be caused by an old supplies. Not one single person cared to call or write to tell me what’s was going on. Horrible place 👎👎👎👎👎
Stay away!! Got a new cpap machine they sent a mask that wasnt good for me and they wouldnt exchange it. Humidifier was making the mask fill up with water and choking me while I was sleeping. took them 3 weeks to get back to me and the lady told me they couldnt do anything supposed to get new supplies every 3months. ordered them and 2 weeks later still no supplies. Going back to apria a company that actually helps there customer. really dont know how this company is still open. just go anywhere else but Hampton healthcare
Last year, when it came time to receive an annual replacement CPAP tube, they sent the wrong tube. It took multiple calls to get them to send the correct tube. This year, when it came time to receive a new tube, I told the representative to please be careful to send the correct tube this year. I said: “I am asking your firm, in the nicest way possible, to not screw this up again for this year.” The representative acknowledged their computer system showed their error from the prior year, and she tried to reassure me by saying that this would not happen again this year. Well, what do you think happened? They sent the wrong tube again… When you call their phone number, the message says their answering system is full and there is no room to leave a message. Considering all the one star reviews, and the kinds of problems reported, the complaints are nearly unanimous that Hampton Home Care consistently provides poor customer service.
They are VERY unresponsive to calls. Have been trying to contact them regarding a pick up for 2 hours. Spoke to one person who hung up on me and have tried unsuccessfully to speak to anyone else. I have been in the house all day waiting for them to show up to pick up equipment. It is now 4:30 and still no sign of them. A wasted day and evening. Absolutely NO customer service. My sister has been#1 on the call in line for 20 minutes.🤬
The worst customer service Ive ever had. Some people are nice but majority are just the worst. Most of them dont know what theyre talking about and if they say they will call you back they wont. If your new to sleep apnea and getting supplies ask your doctor or health care provider for another company.
Where do I begin. If I can give a 0 or -1 I would in a heartbeat. I cancelled my order for a CPAP machine before they even came to my home. Worst customer service and they do not return calls.*** DO NOT USE. I REPEAT DO NOT USE ***I called 7 times and they never returned phone calls. How can a health care company operate this way? I am just speechless. If you can, walk away immediately.
This place is the worst place I have ever dealt with. Inept customer service, terrible attitudes and horrible communication. The alleged medicare liaison stated one thing and then customer service contradicted them. After careful research, I discovered the liaison was correct. The customer service agent tried to blame me and acted like she was doing me a favor. Every contact I had with them was miserable and a struggle to get the supplies I was due. I would never recommend them and actively dissuade others from dealing with them. Steer clear of this company if you can, they are a disgrace to their profession.
This company is absolutely horrible! The customer service is unacceptably horrible. First I went to see Stewart and he was throwing facemasks all over the place trying to find one that would fit me and was huffing and puffing the whole time. He made me feel so uncomfortable I couldn’t wait to leave. Then I got on the phone with Christine and she was the nastiest of all. She was yelling at me because I couldn’t find the size of the facemask and it was the first time I was re-ordering. She was rude, nasty and Kurt. There is no need to be spoken to like I was her misbehaved child. I’m calling my insurance company to change companies. They score a 1.7 and I think that’s too high!! They have 32 reviews and 29 are bad! DON’T USE THEM!!
Called last week and ordered cpap supplies for myself and my wife. I was told by customer service that the supplies will be shipped on 10/22. On 10/25, I called to check on the status of my order and customer service told me the supplies were not available in any of the Long Island warehouses and that they are being shipped from Kentucky.Definitely there is an inventory system issue at Hampton Home Care. And thus the service at this place is getting worse every time I try to order supplies.I didn’t receive a courtesy call or a follow up to inform me of the week long delay.Totally disappointed with customer service
I was pleased with the customer service I received at Hampton Homecare. The customer service representative Veronica was accommodating and helpful. Stewart was the respiratory therapist who helped me set up the cpap machine virtually. He was punctual, polite, and willing to answer my questions. I appreciate their service.
I was hesitant to contact Hampton Home Care after reading the reviews, but I had a great experience with them. My husband needed a travel CPAP quickly for an unexpected emergency, and I called first thing in the morning. I got through to the CPAP department right away, and every question I asked was thoroughly answered by a woman named Wendy. She explained the process of getting a prescription faxed over by the Dr., and then later confirmed the prescription had been received. Any time I called that day for a status I spoke to a human and never got voice mail. By 4pm THAT DAY the CPAP was set up and I picked it up at their Ronkonkoma location. Everyone in the office was incredibly professional and nice, and jumped through hoops to provide the equipment he needed. It was totally different than the previous CPAP supplier we used which was awful. I would give these folks a try... they were great!!
This is a sham of company that does not stand behind the products they sell. I received an part for my CPAP machine which arrived broken. To their acknowledgement they do not have any published policies for returns, so their claim that they do not have to accept my return is pure lazy and incompetient. My only options for receiving a replacement part was 1) buy a new part or 2) take an unsterile part taken from somewhere in the warehouse. Given the horrible reviews already posted, this should not be a surprise. Their CSR Natasha could not have been more unhelpful or understanding given the situation. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
For starters, this would be a zero star review if this format allowed it. I havent even received my CPAP from this company yet I already hate them! As soon as I finish this review I am going to call my doctors office and request a diferent supplier. This is amateur hour at its very worst! Heres my story: I received my initial call from Hampton Healthcare to set up my CPAP about four days ago. The call came to my home while I was at work. The woman on the recording said she needed additional information from me and asked me to call her back. She even left an extension for me. So the very next day, first thing in the morning, I tried to reach her but the call went into voicemail. On my recording to her, I instructed her to please call me at work and left my number. I didnt hear back from her but the very next day, a completely different woman called my house. My husband happened to be home, spoke to that person, and she said they would deliver the machine on Saturday. No time was given for the delivery and my husband wasnt aware of an appointment I had, so I needed to change the appointment. Its not his fault— he was trying to help. He gave me the number and extension of the person he spoke with and for two days now I have been trying to call her and she never answers her phone nor return the calls. Whats more, NONE of this companys representatives EVER answer their phone (you always have to leave a message), Its impossible to get a live person. If you hit 0, thinking youll get an operator or a live person, you hear a message that says this is not a valid extension. Even when you hit a general number for customer service, you dont get a live person! This is the worst customer service. You get a message that prompts you to leave a message. Im done — and we didnt even get started! Im calling my doctor now and demanding another supplier. If a company is this bad this early in the process, a continued relationship with them will be nothing short of frustrating.
Hands down the Worse company to distribute CPAP supplies to patients. They have the worse warehouse ever to ship out supplies. I have called numerous times with the same response... sorry but the warehouse had not shipped out your order yet. You will get it in a few days a week later I call and they say the same exact thing!!!!. I would fire every single warehouse employee there cause they have no idea what they are doing!! Going on 3 weeks since my replacement order was placed and I have nothing because of incompetent employees. I need to find another distributor for my supplies.
This company is wonderful. My husband has bronchiectasis and was in desperate need of help. His dr contacted Keith and they got us set up for an Afflovest fit right away.Then Stuart called, had our copay taken care of (due to hardship) and came to our house with the product.He was efficient, pleasant and very helpful.He gets an A++!!
DO NOT use this company. Beyond terrible customer service. Got a cpap from them. Supposed to get new equipment every 3 months...got it 1 time and that was it. Never answer phone calls and literally have never been called back by them ever. At the time i was forced into using obama care and then switched to my wifes insurance a few months after receiving machine and was told by both my old insurance company and these people that no cost will be made for anything except for the sleep test. Then I get a bill in the mail for $200 to pay for part of the machine. I called numerous times and either no one knew anything or i never got a call back from those who did. Now, i have a letter from a debt collector looking for $650. I hope they answer this time because I will be going to court.
This place made my vacation in Montauk. I had cleaned my DreamWear cushion as I do everything morning. Unfortunately when I packed my cpap machine I discovered that I forgot to pack the cushion. Suffering from severe sleep apnea I was in need of a cushion. I call Hampton Home Care the next morning. I was told they would call me back to confirm they had the cushion was in stock. I received a call within the hour from the Southampton location and was pleased to find out that I was able to pickup the cushion. I arrived at the store and they had the cushion waiting for me at the desk. Excellent service. Thanks again for making my vacation!

Then I get a bill in the mail for $1500 to pay for the machine after i was told i didnt have to pay nothing ! I called numerous times and either no one knew anything or i never got a call back from those who did. I am or have been trying to work with this company and overlook their horrendous service... They have no experienced people working their phones and their follow up doesnt exist.. I have been waiting for POC for several weeks and they have no feedback why?... Tonight after calling them at least 8 times (in the past weeks) for a delivery date it came at 8PM.... The unit was totally incomplete/ used and without any electrical wire, no arm strap for carrying purposes... it was literally thrown in a bag RAW for the driver to deliver... He made every attempt to calm me down... Meanwhile Im without the equipment I needed to make a planed trip this weekend... Im honestly thinking of FIREING them and taking my business to INOGEN... They are A class operation with experience phone personnel who answer every questions....Hampton is pathetic at least! BEWARE!!!!!!!
Find a way to get in touch with Arelis , the Resupply Manager. She will take care of everything imaginable and bend over backwards while doing it with a smile! Simply the best. The PRICE is Right! What are you waiting for?Update: 3/12/2021: Still very happy with the service & care this office provides. Arelis takes care of me like Im her family. Good stuff.
Someone needs to shut this place down. It had been one year since my doctor sent over a prescription for a cpap. My insurance was billed and I never got a cpap. Now they want a new prescription which was sent over. I have been calling nonstop and an consistently “caller number 1.” This is why insurance is so expensive. I have been using their supplied CPAP machine for over 2 years now. They happen to be the supplier that my doctor is partnered with. The problems started from the very beginning when they took several weeks longer to supply my orignal order. More recently when reordering supplies on two occasions over the last 6 or 7 months I have asked for a face mask. I still dont have a face mask. This company is the worst all they care about is verifying and sending out additional supplies and continue to bill hundreds of dollars on each order to my insurance company. I will be calling my doctor and asking him to change to a new vendor they suck
These people suck. Don’t waste your time! Go to another vendor! I have been having issues with my CPAP machine and have called them twice for help and left voicemails explaining that i need help and left my phone number on the voicemail. On the third call i heard them pick the phone up (i heard people talking in the background) then they hung up on me. I can’t wait until they call me back so i can let them know what i think of them! It has been over a week now since my first phone call.
Terrible company. I got my CPAP from them and you cannot get a human on the phone for issues. They constantly use robo calls. They supply cheap equipment and expect the customer to pay when it easily breaks. Im calling my doctor to see about replacing this company. Zero stars.
Never have I experience such a poorly run company. I can not believe my doctor would even have recommended them for my CPAP supplies. I can list all the things that are below par, but quite honestly it is the whole business. Please do yourself a favor and stay far far away.
Horrible customer service, was put on hold for 30 minutes the receptionist for the CPAP answers phone so rudely and was not at all nice. I explain to her what I need and she rushes through it as if I am a CPAP expert and Insurance expert and then puts me back on hold and after 45 minutes and then it goes into her voice mail, leave a message and not a phone call back! Very Unprofessional! I am so saddened that I can not get the proper help for my husband from this company.
Simply put the worst customer care I have ever experienced. Impossible to get through to a real person you are sent to a variety of voicemails. If the mailbox isnt full you leave a message and hope for a call back. On ocassions the calls back are spoken so fast you have no idea who left the message. I have a sense they use the let the call go to voicemail and we will call back eventually approach. Whoever designed their phone system should find a new line of work.
This company is nothing but the worst of the worst. They never send your medical equipment and bill your insurance. When they finally send you stuff its wrong and to correct it is nearly impossible because you cant talk to a human being but rather the worst automated system there is. How they are still in business blows my mind.
Nothing but leaving messages and never receiving my husbands stuff! He called 7 days ago then again 5 days ago! He needs a new hose and mask desperately and I even called the emergency line for someone to help one of the receptionists mistakes and no call back from them either! We have had this machine for 5 years and never had service! My husbands oxygen when he sleeps is 6.0! Can someone at this facility please help!!!!!
DEMAND YOUR DR. use another vendor!! all the reviews are spot -on..2 weeks after my doctors office placed the order I heard nothing!! called , left voice mails.. nothing .. out of the blue I get a name and an extension to call... she will call you in tomorrow no call so i call the main number. I was on hold for 24 mins. An absolute nasty woman named Shelly came on the phone her first words were yes i said is this hampton? she said did you dial hampton sir a rude, rude person. If Hampton ever did quality control cards they would here this . I walk into the old office in ronkonkoma the receptionist is yapping with her friend on the phone talkin.. Ignores me until i said are you going to just ignore me
My technician was Bevans, he was very polite from the minute I answered my phone. He was very thorough in explaining what I needed to know about my machine. He was such a pleasure, I felt like Id known him forever, all of my fears and reservations were non existent now and a huge weight was lifted once he explained everything. Thank you Bevans and thank you Hampton Home Care.
Terrible company.Item arrived damage and I called them, they said they would send out a replacement and they never did. I call back and the lady was rude and disrespectful questioning why it took me 2 months to call even though it took them a month and a half to send it to me and I did call.I have now been waiting for a call back for 4 days now. I call back and they say the manager is busy and I will get a call by the end of the day…. That was yesterday.Do not do business with these people, ask your doctor to use someone else.

2022-07-21Today,I had my first time setup with a machine for trouble sleeping due to medical reasons. The Technician Stewart Hochler came on time as promised. He said he would take care of me because I guess he probably could tell I was a little bit nervous for I am going to be using something I havent had experience with except in the sleep lab. He was fantastic in explaining everything. He answered every question and was very outgoing and I felt like I will be in good hands since he told me to call if I needed more help and now tonight I hope I will finally be getting the restful nights I have been needing for so long. Thank you very much Stewart for being such a pleasant person and Megan also at Hampton Med and should there be any others who were involved in me finally getting my machine finally and also again Stewart for knowing exactly what he was doing that the visit was so quick and easy. All of your help is sincerely appreciated. I felt at ease when he left and tonight when I go to bed.I cannot wait to see and feel so much better and rested after having a real night worth of sleep after years of medications and other methods not working.I look forward to tomorrow and the days after feeling like a brand new person after going through all the trouble I have. 2022-05-20The tech was very friendly and informative. He took the time to show me every aspect of the function, cleaning , storage for travel, and how to order new supplies on schedule. He actually had me go thru all the steps to take apart all functional parts of the device and actually had me turn it on and experience the flow of air thru the very comfortable nasal air piece. I’m looking forward to trying it for the first time tonight for a restful sleep. The machine is also quiet.

2022-04-22The worst customer service by far. It took 20 minutes to get to Why am I receiving a bill, to which the answer was in short, ask your insurace company.The second issue of the equipment you sent does not fit was resolved by being transferred to another line and waiting an additional 20 minutes, while being caller #1.Very unsatisfied and I highly recommend to not use this company. Theyre very good at reaching out to sent you another package, but they sent the equipment that does not match the original CPEP machine.

He answered all my questions I had about the set up and use of the machine and explained the importance of why I need to keep it clean and change the hose, mask and filter. He explained the effects of sleep apnea and the context of needing a CPAP device, each piece of the equipment, how to set up the device and how to use it, along with tips for ongoing maintenance. At each stage, he went as fast or as slow as I needed and answered all questions thoroughly. Thank you very much!

2022-07-03Everything went fine the gentleman that came brought the machine help me to put it together and take it apart and put it back together again was very knowledgeable and told me everything I need to do to prepare myself for my first night of losing the machine plus I have booklets that Im going to now so far the experience has been good I just will have to take time to get used to using the machine
