Everything was great. Breakfast was the best part due to hours and kindness of employees working it. Especially edwardo! The front desk woman was helpful, I don’t remember her name other than it started with a Z. My only complaint is the water pressure. I was on floor 4, and as I showered, there was moments we’d lose all pressure. Outside of that, the dining area was awesome and our room was comfortable.
My experience was more than likely an anomaly but I was unfortunate enough to be dwelling in a room in which the people beside us were vengeful enough to disregard other guests need for rest by making loud noises at ungodly hours of the night. Do not let this experience scare you off, the rest of the hotel was wonderful. This frustrated me enough, though, as I was kept awake for hours.
Positive: Hallway, bathroom and bedding was very clean. Negative: Having to request a microwave. To be fair they did supply me with the microwave.I just dont like having to ask. Need better coffee maker. I dislike the powdered milk. Other places offered small half + half pods.
I did like: The Staff was nice & I appreciated being allowed to check in fairly early. I needed it.What I didnt like: There are only shower/tub combinations - cant stand those. They have some 2 prong light bulbs, so I couldnt put my hue bulbs in & set the mood of my room.Snack area was mainly sweets like cookies & candies. The pillows were extremely limp ; I needed all 4 that were on the bed to feel supported.
Positive: Staff was friendly, but might be seen as ineffective, given the shortcomings (see below.) Ultimately, they can only work with what theyre given, and the responsibility is corporate. Negative: Rooms w/out working phones, no drinking cups available, elevator that shuddered noisily...seeming to be in need of repair. Not a good look for a Hilton...or any ownership, for that matter.
Overall, the experience was pleasant. The hotel is clean, a hot breakfast is served daily and it is close to the main Yonkers attractions. Two mall areas are less than 5 minutes away. I felt safe and would stay here again. The only issue my husband and I had was that there are too few pillows and the bed is very firm. There was also a leak in the bathroom sink for our entire stay. It wasnt so bad to warrant a change in the room.
The hotel itself was nice. Clean rooms, friendly staff. But why, in all that is holy, did they put barn-style doors on the bathrooms? I know its silly, but having this kind of door on a bathroom reduces privacy and means turning on a light in the bathroom in the middle of the night will light up the rest of the room. These kinds of doors never close tightly. And they dont contain light, sounds or (ugh) smells. Theres absolutely no reason for them in a hotel. And the hallway from the door to the main part of the room was wide enough to accommodate a full sized swinging door.It would never occur to me to ask about this. Now I will.
Positive: The employees are very profesional. Very accommodating. Negative: This is my 3rd time staying. My bathroom wasnt so clean. There was hair on the sink and some sticky residue. 1st time so no biggie. My biggest issue was on my last day. I had soap from head to toe and the water went out.
Positive: Very friendly and pleasant staff. Hotel was at a great location, and very clean. Negative: I been lately to many different hotels and I had very bad experiences but I have to say that this one was the best one I stayed. Starting from the staff at the desk, cleaning and breakfast area, also the cleanest one I been.
Great staff, very nice people. Not their fault I assume but when I get there at 430 and still have to wait for a room, it just irks me. Very VERY nice people / staff that handled it great, but come on. No idea how the Honors worked on this trip, usually when we check in they ask if we want bonus points or snacks. More than 1/2 the gym machines not working. Overall, the people that work there are great, I just felt they were understaffed, which I guess is common nowadays.
Very nice and clean hotel and friendly staff. Breakfast left a little bit to be desired, but a trip around the corner to the Grassy Spain Diner will fix that. The only real complaint I would have is the pillows. They really offered no support and I woke up after the first night with a horrible crick in my neck. Id definitely stay here again, but will bring my own pillow next time. 😉
Very nice hotel! Didnt give it a perfect 5 star, because I wish the pillows were fluffier and had extra pillows available in closet. Friendly staff. Wish there were sufficient Elite Parking spots for when returning late night from wedding. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was good, but not great....could use more options.
The room was nice and clean. Customer service was on point. The only reason I gave it a 4 star was because the pool water was kind of cold and it was supposed to be heated. But everything else was on point. Breakfast was great. If they adjust the pool temperature to warmer is definitely a 5 star.
I must say that KoKo at the front desk was extremely welcoming and friendly. She really knows how to make you feel as if you are staying at a home away from home. She is the reason for my 5 star review. Not often do you meet people that make a hotel feel like a home away from home and KoKo did that with her personality before we even said a word. I highly recommend her and this hotel.
We pretty frequently (2-3 times a year) stay in Yonkers when visiting family nearby. We stayed at the Tuckahoe Road location for the 1st time over 3 nights at the end of October for a funeral. I was the hands-down the best stay weve had at any hotel in the area!!!! A family member recommended it after several unsatisfactory stays at a couple different locations in the Yonkers area.We will be back!!!
Positive: The hallway to the room was clean, airy and well lighted. We had a suite which was excellent and spacious. The location is near two main highways which made it easy to connect to other parts of the city. Negative: They can do better with the continental breakfast. I wished they had warm food.
Rooms are slightly dated and smaller than other Hampton hotels but overall it was an easy stay. Slightly better breakfast options than what other hotel chains are serving with the Covid hysteria. If you’ll be staying more than a day or two I’d advise an extended stay so you don’t have to go down to the lobby to use a microwave. Staff was very friendly and accommodating!
Everything about this hotel was great except for the noise that kept me awake the entire night. I was on the fourth floor with the window closed and all night I could hear this loud noise that sounded like someone vacuuming. Since it was late on a Friday night, and since the vacuuming never seemed to stop, I quickly figured out that it was the sound of traffic coming from the nearby highways. If that wasnt bad enough, the climate control system in the room was impossible to figure out. It kept turning on and off (which created its own loud sounds), and the temperature in the room was not consistent. Finally, the neighbors on both sides of me and above decided to start running around making noise late in the evening. All of these factors combined led to a pretty miserable night. Not necessarily the hotels fault, though they could do something about the climate control system in the room to make them more user-friendly.
The room was not clean. There was hair all over the bathroom. Both the sink and shower were slow to drain. The “door” to the bathroom was sliding and would not stay closed, but would roll halfway open on itself. The air did not really work. It stayed at 78 the whole time even though we had it 10 degrees cooler. There were not cups or a thing for ice. The staff at the front were focused on their phones instead of greeting people.
Positive: Estacionamiento amplio y gratuito, habitaci¿n amplia excelente!
I had to stay here recently for a couple of days while there was work being done on the water on my street. This was by far the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Seriously - every single inch was taken care of and you could tell, if you travel a lot and have an eye for that sort of thing. The staff was also so incredibly nice and accommodating. Even during Covid, I felt really safe and I didn’t feel like they neglected to clean anything. I would love to stay here again. The room was so comfortable and large. It felt like I was getting a much more upscale room for the price that we paid. Whatever you guys are doing to have such a nice, accommodating and hardworking staff please keep it up. They seriously deserve a raise.
Pleasant place to stay with clean rooms. Their gym had great equipments for a good workout...highly recommend to utilize it. The only thing I was disappointed in was their breakfast...I wish they served warm breakfast to go like other hotels. It was more so continental breakfast.
Room was very spacious. kitchen as soon as you entered with tile flooring ,well laid out. had a couch with space , a desk/table with a big tv, large bed and two night stand. the lighting was applicable. now the bathroom look very nice with a sliding door that when open it closed the closet and when closed it open the closet space. very neat. full mirror. They insured that you knew things were cleaned and sanitized like the control they wrapped it advertising it had been re sanitized for the new person coming to the room. also coming into the room it had a sticker thing (kinda like when you order food for delivery it has a sticker too insure it hasnt been reopened). I just thought that was nice to insure after cleaning it hadnt been reenter prior. little things that insures yougreat personality, welcomed by the person at the front. made sure things were satisfied.
The bed had blood stains on it. I waited an hour to check in because they cancelled my reservation. The night auditor offered snacks to another couple that was checking out for the road but then I had to say something to be offered snacks even though I an a diamond member. The shower is great because of the excellent water pressure. However the bed was very uncomfortable. Housekeeping is terrible. The smoke detector is covered up in plastic so I have to wonder if there is a fire if the fire alarm would go off.
I’d say 1 1/2 star only because the room was very spacious and clean. I wanted to have a relaxing experience and gave it a chance. I stayed 7 nights. I checked in and was given a room someone was already in. I was assigned a new room and asked the front desk for a remote that could allow me to change the input. I was told their TVs don’t do that. I asked the housekeeper on my floor if she could find a remote that changes input and she was able to hand me one that CAN change inputs. I am not a smoker so the smell is not pleasant. I tried putting a towel under the door to prevent the smell from coming in the room and closing the bathroom door. I asked the front desk if that was normal and she told me someone might be breaking the rules. I noticed that the smell was coming from the bathroom vent. Now I knew that their was no way of stopping the smell from entering the room. The smell of marijuana smacks you in the face when getting off on your floor. The music I heard at night during the weekend was loud enough to keep you awake. Everyone has their own experiences at hotels. This was mine.
A decent enough hotel, but the walla are very thin. Im super sensitive to sound and that part of things just didnt work for me. Phone service was unsteady. Wifi was terrible. It was written in the bathroom that housekeeping could be done at request--not so much. It was clean enough and very accessible for food delivery services.
Breakfast isnt precooked, Its like grabbing school breakfast. Dont expect to hook anything up to your hotel tv because they disabled hdmi modes which sucks. The bathroom door isnt actually a door, its more like a sliding wall with anyone in the same room able to take peaks at you while doing your private business. Also you cant use the buttons on the air conditioner, your forced to get up and walk to the thermostat even though the ac clearly has all the same buttons. All and all, let me play xbox on the tv and maybe it would be worth it.
My family stayed here for our family reunion. The check in was the easy and even though there was a group of us Eunice, the front desk attendant, was wonderful. She even made sure we were all mostly in the same floor. The rooms are spacious and modern with big windows that get plenty of natural light. They have a pool that’s a bit on the small side at 3 feet 5 inches, it’s more suited for kids or adults just looking to relax in the water for a bit. The hallways are typical but I have to say the decor is very nice. The colors and shades are light and compliment each other. My family needed a meeting space and the room was large enough for five tables that seated 8-10 each. There was a projection screen in case presentations were to be made and also a flat screen tv. The light fixtures were flood lights but they were soft and not glaring. It was a comfortable space for my family even with the buffet table along one wall. I would highly recommend this hotel for short stays.
I’ve stayed at this hotel four times ☺️ each time was AWESOME! I even brought a friend who’s not all that easy to win over in terms of hotels. He’s skeptical. To this day, He speaks often of how nice this hotel is. Room service is great, rooms smell so fresh after reentering. I’m from New York. All of my family is still there. Everytime I visit, this is the only hotel that will get my business. Great customer service. I asked for a microwave to be added to my room, they brought it right up. Food is great and front desk clerks and every one else including housekeepers are so nice and pleasant.
The employees were very friendly, but they’re supposed to be a “No smoking” hotel yet the WHOLE time I was there it smelled like weed. When we asked for new towels to be bought in our room they bought them. But didn’t take the ones that were on the floor, even though they have a sign that says put the dirty ones you might longer want on the floor. Lastly THERE WAS MOLD IM OUR ROOM! My husband has asthma & no one should have to pay to sleep in something like that.
My husband and I came here for a nice weekend getaway. The place looks nice and new as it is 2 years old but when we went to check out our room there was a hair on the toilet seat and more in the tub. Disgusted by this, we went to the front desk asking for a new room. When the manager came to check, he gave us odd vibes as though we had put the hairs there ourselves. He said, You know, its weird because this room was cleaned by our cleaning supervisor and she doesnt even have straight hair. Isnt that strange? He made us feel uncomfortable and as though we were at fault. Finally he agreed to have it cleaned (which i dont understand why it was even a question if they werent going to give us a different room.) Aside from the managers rude behavior the room was nice and modern looking. The bed was comfy and they gave a complimentary toiletry kit including cotton balls, a shower cap and cotton swabs. All in all i would say that i wouldnt return here as i can find a nice hotel with better service for the same price.
This hotel is really nice conveniently located right off of the major deegan and the room is really pretty I wasnt expecting it to be so nice. I absolutely love the farm style door for the closet and bathroom and the fact that I could use my cellphone as a key to get into my roomCheck in and out was easy and the front desk lady KOKO was amazing from the minute I walked in. The room was really clean especially with covid I felt comfortable. I will be coming back here.
The property itself was clean and maintained well. When I arrived I was greeted and checked in by a gentleman who was at the front desk. I also later found out he was the manager. He was very nice and friendly. He asked my name and for my reservation. I did find it weird that he asked me what room type I preferred as I already had a reservation booked with Hotels.com. I booked a room with one king bed and one sofa bed. He was asking me if I wanted a room with two queens or one king. I then proceeded to double check my reservation and again restate what room I had booked. About 10 mins after I got to my room I realized that they gave me the wrong room. I called the front desk and the woman who answered said she would look into it and call me right back. After about 10 -15 mins I went to the front desk to see about getting the room I booked. Unfortunately the manger claims that because I booked through a third party site I am not guaranteed the specific room I chose. The only thing je offered me was extra pillows and blankets, which I dont understand how that solves me not getting a different room. He also stated that since they are fully booked because of valentines day weekend that he doesnt have another room to offer me. I was and still am not satisfied with this resolution. Well no resolution actually. I have stayed here before and booked through a third party a site and received the exact room I reserved. I also didn’t see anything written on hotels.com about room guarantee. Please becareful when booking through third party sites. I am just very annoyed that the Hampton Inn wont compensate me for the lesser room.
I stayed in room 132 for a night. Although the room was nice, there is a terrible noise of thumping/popping that went on for literally 4-5hours. It sounded like a boiler or piping. It made it really difficult to have a good rest. Also, there was a woman with a terrible attitude cleaning the breakfast area. She literally raised her voice at me because I grabbed some orange juice a few minutes after the literal time breakfast ended. There was still plenty of people eating and all drinks were still out and easily accessible. She said I had to ask her permission, to which I almost actually got mad. Otherwise, the layout of the room and linens were clean and good.
Its a bit busy with what appears to be local community group gatherings. Although its a non smoking hotel, I can attest to smelling smoke from cigars and other things out to the hallway. It was significant enough to call the front desk over concerns of a possible fire in one of the rooms. But as suspected, there were people smoking. May not be the hotels staff fault, but they were somewhat complacent to addressing the issue. Nice people work here though.
All pictures are accurate. The place is well kept and the staff is polite. Neighborhood is safe, plenty of hotel ground parking and 3 gas stations very close by. Breakfast was delicious. I didnt expect it to be as amazing as it was given the location but this neighborhood and hotel have grown n are a place wouldnt mind visiting again.
Excellent amenities with daily very good breakfast. Rooms are spacious and modernly furnished. New hotel with new furniture with daily room cleaning and bath toiletry supplies, towels are clean and plentiful. With adequate travel time finding the hotel is not difficult to find. There is shuttle service without cost within a 5 mile radius for hotel guests.
Fantastic stay. Jeff at the front desk for check-in was very attentive and professional. My wife and I had a good time in the indoor pool, and breakfast was great! The selection was quite impressive, which included a fresh fruit salad, egg frittata, a prime rib hash, as well as all the normal offerings. We will surely stay here again.
The staff, the rooms and the location is amazing. There are many places around to try many different kinds of food very close to the hotel. The staff is very helpful and always looking to make their guest feel right at home by suggesting entertainment and food options. The pool and patio are very cozy and a great place to unwind and relax. I absolutely love staying at this particular hotel!!!
It is a very nice hotel. My family enjoyed our overnight stay. It was close enough to shopping and easily accessible from the highway. Overall it was great stay, but next time, I will remember to not choose a room on the first floor. Too much noise from the air and wind. In addition, I want to mention how great the breakfast staff was. Everything was fresh and constantly topped off, and cleaned.
Very new hotel, rooms are fairly large. Unfortunately the storage space for clothing and items is very limited if you are staying more than a night or two. Breakfast is also very good here. Friendly staff too. No microwaves in rooms in kind of a negative, but there is one in the lobby.
Haven’t been here long but wow, what a beautiful, new, bright & clean hotel! I travel for work every week and the last time I was in the Westchester Area I had a hotel so nasty I ended up having to move at 11 o’clock at night. The next hotel was the Comfort Inn in Hawthorne. It was nice and clean but super outdated. For a few bucks more I tried this hotel and I am SO glad that I did!! Yay! I finally found a good place to stay when I work in NY! So far the staff was super friendly @ check in, they have a nice drink station set up for when you arrive, breakfast is until TEN, can I get an Amen?! Plenty of parking and it’s very well lit. I love to take the stairs and get my steps in and I could park right near the stairs on either side and get to my room. I can’t wait to see what the rest of my stay will be like. Big kudos on the interior decorator- the bright colors do wonders for me! Highly, highly recommend this hotel!!!
Great, clean hotel. Friendly staff, especially at the front desk. Was kindly greeted by Alondra at the front desk who made me feel very welcomed. I am a Hilton Honors Gold member and I have visited Hilton properties in different states and ironically this was a great experience and it was a simple overnight stay in my home state. Breakfast was pretty good too
I stayed at the Hampton after being displaced by a fire. The Hotel associate that night was Travis who was both professional and empathetic to my situation. He made sure I had a place to stay at a rate I could afford and treated me with respect and kindness! Applause for having a great employee like Travis there to be the face of the Hampton . Thanks Travis!
Your breakfasts are terrific... Kitchen staff so friendly & helpful, especially Dianne. Rooms very nice, especially the handicapped room we have. problem thought with SHORT SHOWER CURTAIN that fails to keep water inside the tub! Also, the shower control knob is way too difficult to use.. Even with help from Engineer, who had difficulty as well!Almost got scalded with HOT WATER due to difficulty reducing water temperature.Write out some directions with pictures might Help! Also, noticed some strangely dressed ladies loitering around outside one night!
Very clean and spacious. Nice sized, comfortable beds and pillows. Our room had a mini fridge although it did not state in the description when I booked it. We didnt stay long to be able to enjoy the pool or the breakfast but overall it was a great experience. Tons of parking space. My only complaint was that I was charged a day before I even checked in even though I chose the option to pay at check in. I used my card to secure the room but we were to use another form of payment upon check in. I was told that this is just pre-emptive and that my card will be refunded the money they charged. I guess we will see.
Rooms are very reasonable prices and in a quiet area. Staff is great the hotel is big and quite comfortable. The place is well kept and very clean the. Because the area is so secluded there is drugs in the area. When I stayed there someone was in the hotel smoking marijuana the whole time and the fire alarm went off. The fire alarm continue to go off the entire night and the hotel staff did nothing . I was there for one week and there was someone in the hotel smoking marijuana for one week. I am a asthmatic if its a non-smoking Hotel and I complained why was not the person removed from the hotel before the fire alarm went off. Beware youre on your own at this specific Hotel its not part of the chain. After the fire alarm went off I told them to call the police to get the person out of the hotel they still would not do so. There is no fan in the bathroom when you use the toilet all the smell goes into your bedroom. The people that work there are very nice but the owners need to do better I dont think this hotel is part of the corporate chain theyre on their own. There are better hotels than this in Yonkers.
One elevator was not working out of two which made difficult to get to the room. Each time there was a line to go to upstairs. It is not enough to keep only one elevator running for that many rooms. It was uncomfortable to get in an elevator with so many people even though there is label says 3 people max especially during covid.
From Check in to check out absolutely love the Hampton inn! This was my first time here and loved it. Very clean, very friendly staff, breakfast area was clean and always had food available. Pool was very clean! beds were comfortable pillows were even more comfortable.
Reserved a room for four, and they gave us a room with a king bed and a pull out loveseat (only sleeps one). They refused to relocate us to another room with two double beds. We had to ask for a cot, which wouldnt even fit in the room unless we removed the desk. Fortunately, the housekeeping staff was able to take the desk out. Otherwise, the room is nice (for two people, not four); however, I echo others comments about the walls being super thin, as we could plainly hear our neighbors talking in their room.
The service is wonderful the staff is lovely. I always enjoy the free continental breakfast, always delicious and a full meal. The rooms are always clean and spacious. And they have a large pool, which I love. Overall I always enjoy my stay at the Hampton Inn & Suits Yonkers-Westchester.
Room was not clean, elevator had food on the floor. The comforters were filthy and when we asked they be changed, 2 hours later they sent someone up with comforters so we had to change our own beds. Tissues box in bathroom was full of dirty tissues. Doors were smudged and dirty. Entrance to the pool had broken lock. Appeared to be short staffed. Room smelled musty. Very disappointed. Would never stay here again.
My wife and I decided to go away for the weekend and we chose to come to the Hampton Inn and Suites Yonkers. When we got there, the guy behind the desk was really nice and friendly. He put us in our room really quickly. When we got to our room, we noticed that there were hairs on the toilet seat as well as in the tub. We went back to the front desk and asked if we can be changed to a room that had been cleaned. After the manager sent someone else to see if there were really hairs in our room, and got a confirmation that there were indeed a few hairs there, he came to check it out himself. When he saw that there were hairs, he made us feel very uncomfortable (giving us a vibe that he was anti semetic!) coming really close and stating that its so strange because I saw the supervisor cleaned the room, and she doesnt even have straight hair. (Indicated that we might have planted the hairs there or something of that sort, when we werent asking for any sort of upgrade!) We felt really uncomfortable when in reality the manager should have apologized to us and try to make up for the inconvenience! This really ruined our vibe for the weekend which was a real shame because the hotel grounds were really nice and the pool was great as well as the buffet breakfast that was included. I would not recommend going to this hotel because you can go to many other hotels where the staff will treat you like a paying customer.
Best hotel Ive visited so far in NYC. Clean ,spacious, quiet , parking availability , entrances and Breakfast Amazing. Stayed the weekend to celebrate my husbands birthday. He Loved it😊. I just wish I had an extra day to enjoy the pool , maybe next time 😊.Staff is also amazing keep up the great workSee u soon 🤞🏾. Thanks Again
Pleasantly surprised by the location of this Hampton Inn. Its very close to multiple highways which makes it easy to go either upstate or even down town. The rooms were spacious and didnt feel overwhelmed with furniture. The bathroom was surprisingly roomy which is always important. Breakfast is included which is a huge perk. But, to be honest the biggest perk would be the included car charger for both Tesla and other EVO vehicles.
The suite that I stayed in I had to constantly remind them to give me laundry bags, garbage bags, there was no linen for the pullout couch if I had a guest stay over. I had to constantly call and remind them of things that the room was missing during my stay which is unacceptable.
Fairly new hotel and rooms, clean quiet environment, comfy bed and contemporary furnitures, bright, clean bathroom with lots of towels and amenities. Long story short you get what you see. Good relaxing experience. I will be back to experience the rest of amenities I didnt get to like the indoor pool and gym. Plus its close to the mall and casino and other spots.
Its got a great location. Minutes away from the Bronx, no toll roads, there are a few food places nearby, and the hotel serves breakfast with your stay. Staff is very detail oriented and very attentive to the customers needs. Rooms were clean and the styling is nice too.
An excellent place to stay! The staff is very accomodating and they maintain the entire place looking new and most importantly clean. The rooms are quite roomy and I have stayed in several different rooms and all have bedding that looks new and most importantly was very, very, very clean and fresh! Its a hidden little treasure.
I stayed here with my family for a few weeks due to visiting NY for Christmas. Although the hotel is kept fairly clean and organized Im disappointed that the smell of weed is all too common & its mostly on the weekends. Its in the stairwells, rooms, elevators and even the hallways. Nothing is done about it despite no smoking signs posted on every floor. Its a shame because the location is conveinant but I will not stay there again for that reason alone. There are two elevators, only one elevator was working the entire time of my stay. People were complaining that the elevator was out.... The hotel was sold out and the elevator wait was extremely annoying. Hope this review helps........
Small, quite and attractive inn.Very clean...you get a microwave, small refrigerator and coffeemaker in your room.Coffee or tea is complimentary 24/7 in the lobby. Theres also a gym and an indoor pool.Package include a free breakfast with wide variety of choices.Only draw back, upper floors need thicker carpets my sleep was disturbed by the persons upstairs who had kids that kept on running back and forth.
Pros: staff was awesome and helpful and very eager to do whatever needed to make our stay comfortable. 10/10. Also, room was cheaper than the other Hampton Inn that we typically stay.Cons: I wish the AC had an on setting to run constantly. The sliding bathroom doors leave a lil privacy to be desired. Put a fan in bathroom.
BED BUGS EVERYWHERE! 😖😖Be aware please please check for bed bugs!!! Me and my friends payed to stay a night ended up leaving 5 hours later due to citing of huge bed bugs!!! Horrible they were under pillows and crawling on a friend of mind! When we went to check out and spoke to front desk about it nothing was done as if they knew they had a bed bug problem!! We went home and clean all our belongings. Due to the fact of how many there was, So please be aware before you stay! Manegment was not worry about the bed bug situation! And didnt even return our money! But we didnt care about that we where trying to get out of there as fast as we can!!!
The room stated it had a microwave but it did not I has to move to another room that hade a microwave for 10 more per night. The good things are that they give free breakfast and are pretty generous about it. The room quality was very nice. The location of the hotel is pretty nice bout 20 min away from everything I have to go to.
Conveniently located on a popular block in Yonkers and close to ridge Hill Mall. At first we were going to opt for another hotel but I am glad I came here. The suite had a lot of lighting and was spacious. Not to mention modern with updated entertainment. Breakfast was pretty basic but the friendly staff will definitely make you want to return for another visit.
Once again, I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Weschester/Tuckahoe, and once again I was disappointed. I keep thinking that they will become like the numerous other Hampton Inns where I have stayed, but they continue to disappoint. I am grateful that Springhill Suites will be opening soon, so that I have a better option. The room was freezing with only a thin blanket. The business center was sweltering hot, and I couldnt even stay in there to work. The breakfast was poor at best. Many things were not provided, or they ran out. And the front desk is always annoyed if you ask any questions or for help. Sad excuse for a Hampton Inn!
The whole experience was amazing. I had a reservation and was really late to check in and was worried . I called and spoke to a young lady named Co Co working the night shift and she made me feel comfortable and she was so helpful, she truly is an asset to this company. Thanks again coco .J.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced! We made reservations with the hotel directly and apparently they misspelled our last name. When we went to check in there was no reservation under our name and the hotel was sold out. The front desk staff would. It help us and would t even look even though we showed him the charge on our credit card. With one hour until the event we were in town for, we left to find another hotel. We have been charged for the hotel and even though weve made hours of phone calls, the GM claims that we were a no show and so we were charged! Corporate offices have put in calls and emails to the GM but NO ONE HAS RETURNED OUR MESSAGES FOR 2 WEEKS. We have called ever day!!!!!! We also were charged more than we were quoted for the room!! Dont make a reservation here!!!
Clean sleep for a night. But that is it. Service for beakfast was rude and uncivilized. Loud and annoying front desk in the morning. Will not recommend, unless for a night -as a drive through. but would not stay there for vacation. not thoughtful staff and unattentive to guest needs.breakfast is from 6-10am. Tey started cleaning up 9.30 and not refilling main items. very disappointed. upon request of refill, we were reminded that breakfast is complimentary, we did not pay for it. i got the message: we have no right to complain or ask for anything !!!!
Nice clean room probably only because was new we stayed at this hotel with kids only because the pool but that was the worst pool hotel experience ever when we arrived we saw outsiders walking to hotel with towels. That looked suspicious. And later on we meet the same people in the swimming pool area. They were screaming so loud , jumping into the pool ,running acting like they own the place not paying attention to the hotel guests after we complained to menagment there was no reaction whatsoever and we were inform that they are hotel quests so why did they bring their own towels? Why any of them didnt have a door key card ? We not gonna visit this place and we would never recommend this place for stay
Very modern, state of the art rooms, facilities, great breakfast options, clean, friendly employees. Location is very close to another hotel, so watch out for that. Definitely need a car around here, but there are a few places to eat/shop near-by within walking distance, but hilly.
As we approached the hotel, we noticed a police action in the lot next door. In addition, there were a number of people loitering around the property that made it seem unsafe. My wife said she would not stay here so we did not (and stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites - Yonkers that is a few miles away). When we explained the circumstances around the hotel and tried to cancel, they said they were going to charge us the full $174 for the one night. When we contacted the National number, the response was well, you read the cancellation policy. Criminal. If you want to save a few dollars to stay here and live inside a Law and Order episode, its a great place. If you want a comfortable place where you feel you can leave your car unattended in the parking lot, spend a little more and stay somewhere else.
Eunice and Richard at the front desk were really accommodating and understanding of my situation. I had a great experience in my 20 minutes in the hotel I didn’t even stay at the hotel yet. But I would just to hang out with them. Solid choice for anyone coming into town.
Although I didnt stay at this hotel overnight, my colleague did, the rates were far more reasonable than other similar hotels nearby. The hotel also has a close proximity to New York City, and is situated on a main road close to multiple highways (I-87 and Sprain Parkway). The lobby and dining area are clean and bright, staff was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.
REVIEW UPDATED DUE TO BAD 2ND EXPERIENCE: Diana at the kitchen was exceptional and went to a great extent in making the kids feel very comfortable however, my second stay was horrible! Terrible booking experience, wrong room assignment/availability from what was booked. My kids had bug bites. Called Honors for the 100% Guarantee, no response for over a week even though promised 72 hours.
My husband and I used Hampton Inn and Suites Yonkers as our guests hotels for our wedding. Theres were some pros but overall it was not a good experience.Cons:-I worked with Lisa Keppler and she was very hard to reach. She never got back to me in a timely manner and when I needed information she would reply with, there is still plenty of time to figure it out. When I called she never picked up and when I wrote emails it would be weeks before she replied.- Finally we get a time for our shuttles so that our guests could arrive to the venue however when the guests would ask the front desk what time the shuttles were the front desk didnt know or would tell them times that were incorrect and many people missed the shuttles and had to take Ubers.- The room my husband and I paid for had a smoke alarm that had a dead battery and we had to call down to ask someone to come up so it would stop beeping.Pros:- Gave us a shuttle even though out venue was farther than anticipated- Richard at the front desk was very kind and gave us water bottles.Overall, I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone blocking rooms and I would definitely never work with Lisa Keppler again.
This review is nothing about the hotel itself because I have booked at this hotel and the rooms are great as well as the breakfast. I am a member of the rewards program Hampton Inn offers so I was very disappointed in the staff at this particular hotel... I have left numerous on messages for the sales manager to speak with her on booking the banquet hall they offer on their premises... after about 4 voicemails and one trip to see the sales manager whom was on a call and sent a message by one of the staff that she would call me right after the call but never did, I decided to take my business somewhere else as I feel that is very rude and unprofessional when I have tried numerous of times to book the banquet room for a small party I wanted to have for my disabled daughter... I do understand it’s the holidays and people are trying to finish up loose ends and start their holiday break but to say you will call but never respond to any voicemails or messages is just rude..very disrespectful and unprofessional.. it takes away from how I originally felt about the hotel itself... ☹️ I was set back in finding another banquet room because I waited around on the respond from this sales manager. My daughter’s birthday is in two weeks and I have been trying to contact the sales manager for three weeks now... smh.. just unprofessional
My stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Yonkers and Westchester was amazing. The rooms are so cozy and beautiful. The staff are so professional and kind. From the minute I entered the hotel(s), I received a high level of courtesy. Eveyone was attentive to my questions and concerns. Even, my dog Mateella got some attention. I will always choose the Hampton because they are a home away from home.
This hotel has got to be the worst I have EVER stayed in. Fire alarm went off once in the middle of the night at 2:30 am and again at 8:00 am.. never had this happen to me before stayed in many hotels, HIGHLY don’t recommend for anyone. Do not stay here unless you want to be woken up in the middle of the night to a beautiful soothing fire alarm!
Nice hotel. Staff nice. Not happy that i was charged $272 for smoking in the room the day after i checked out. I dont even smoke. I called several times to speak to a mgr. I was told some will call me. I kept calling All i got was a vm. Or she was in a meeting. No one called me. I will never go back or refer anyone there.
The university suggests this venue and I like the Hilton limited service brands better than their competition. We had 2 rooms. One king one 2 queens. Both were clean and still in new condition. Check in was smooth and friendly. There is ample free parking. Within 2 miles there is a large and very nice town center retail mall with great casual dinng options.Breakfast was great the first day. Typical hampton fare well executed and better than other similar brands. Second day was overrun with 20 landscapes and staff could not (and did not try) to keep up so options were limited. The trip to Fordham is easy down the saw mill Blvd to moshuli parkway right to campus in 15 minutes (real time both ways)The property has a nice indoor pool and lovely patio deck. The property is essentially new and well maintained. Housekeeping mid-stay was a light touch more like home2 than I expected from Hampton but the rooms were very clean. The property is safe and convenient to the Upper Bronx. I would return.

2022-06-19Me and my family stayed in this place for a night in a suite room 301 . Rooms are nice . Hotel is nice . Most of the employees are friendly. The day when we checked out we realized that we have forgot an item with my credit cards and money in the small container. That I placed it under the mattress since this hotel does not offer safe in the rooms . When I came back same day . I have been informed that room is occupied and I have to come back next day. Next day manager informed me that my small container is not there and no one brought anything to lost and found. I love staying in Hilton hotels and I never had any problems returning my items if they where forgotten. I really do not think that this location has a honest employees.

2022-06-16Positive: The hotel is not bad.The room was decent although could hear noises outside, however the room was clean and the bed comfort was okay. They offered free breakfast which was okay but not a lot of options. The staff was friendly and location is good! Negative: The hotel is pleasant but only complaint is that our room was facing the streets so could hear noises if you are light sleeper or looking to have a long sleep.

2022-01-24We have only good things to say about Hampton Inn & Suites. The friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness of the rooms and the food is always hot, fresh and good. Thank you for our always delightful stay after a long day of driving during our travels.

2022-06-20Managers of a hotel with paper thin walls thought it was a good idea to host the club participants of a dog show. It was chaos from 7pm when owners left dogs in rooms alone to go out to eat and didn’t end until 4am when dogs barked themselves to sleep. I felt like I was staying overnight in a kennel. The quality of the breakfast in the morning solidified that. I didn’t stay in a hotel. I was boarded.2 stars because the pool is heated.

2022-04-21I went up to the front desk at 2:46pm on Saturday, their was no one else waiting. I was told the room was not ready yet because check in is at 3pm, I was a bit shocked because its not like I was hours early it was was less than 15mins. We waited hoping someone will let us know when the room was ready but that never happened. Anyways we waited till 3pm and went back to the front desk and magically the room was just done. Overall the facility is clean. There is not much of a view. The bathroom is super clean and smells great. I would not mind staying here again.

2022-01-20Easy to get to , plenty of parking, very clean room , comfy cover and decent breakfast offering. Did not have a microwave in the room and the room coffee maker /selection was disappointing. The coffee in the Lobby was better. If I need to go again , I would.

2022-01-19Nice location. Nice Hotel. Clean Room. Comfortable bed. Except the front Desk Samantha. If you want to enjoy your stay use HiltonHonor App and avoid Samantha at the front desk she made feel bad and she held my ID with her for 15 minutes arguing for nothing. I communicated with HiltonHonor membership hope they get ride of her to clean the hotel desk. Really nice and clean hotel. Just don’t let Samantha ruin your stay 😉👍

2022-06-15Positive: The hotel was 15 from a celebration I was attending in the Bronx, easy route to the location. Negative: I did not like the carpeting in the halls and the rooms, wasn¿t too clean and had an odor both carpeting , rooms & halls of curry or some type of ¿cultural¿ smell. Also the shower curtain didn¿t smell fresh. My room was extremely hot air took

2022-04-30We usually stay at the Manhattan or Brooklyn Hampton Inn/ Hilton but as a HH member received an offer for this one and wanted to give it try. Im very glad we did. The room was very clean. Furnitures in the room are modern and are in great shape, bathroom was clean and smelled great. Breakfast had limited items, but was good. Service was excellent too. We might be staying here during our future visits to the big apple
