Positive: Staff was very helpful and resolved our issue. Negative: Our first room¿s metal bed platform was sticking out, under the bedding and my husband hurt his leg. The mattress was pushed too far over. Also the air conditioning vent was very dirty as was the shower drain. Severe highway noise.
This is the best hotel Ive stayed at. Firstly, the sales team assisted me in setting up a wedding block for my family and friends at a reasonable price and kept me updated up until we checked in. Secondly, the front desk and cleaners were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional throughout my stay. Finally, the free breakfast was delicious. Cant recommend enough.
Very comfortable beds, was very hot out and the ac was working great in my room. The breakfast is just right. Love having a pool to use. The location is perfect. The staff was very nice and friendly. I was alone and never felt unsafe. I would totally stay here again. The only thing I did not like was that the doors are not locked at night, the main enterance is kept open.
In general, the hotel staff, especially at the front desk, is excellent. They make you feel at home. They are very responsive to whatever issue affecting my stay I have raised. It is a nice hotel to stay in, not only because of the staff but the great facilities it offers. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
My stay here was quite unsettling. When I left for dinner, the TV was on and all the lights but one was off. When I came back, the TV was off and all of the lights, including the one in my bathroom was turned on. Something of no significance of taking, was missing from my bag as well. It appeared as though someone had been in my room (Room 434). I heard many noises as well and the room was absolutely freezing. I turned the temperature up almost 10 degrees and it never changed. I went to take a shower and came back out to an intense sulfur smell that took up the whole room. I couldn’t even stay in the room that night and stayed with someone else who was was on the trip with me instead. Weird coincidences or not, the room was unsettling and disturbing.
- Arrived just after 11pm and main entrance was locked, with no working intercom or answer of front desk phone when we called to have someone let me in- Digital key was not active so couldnt access that way either- Room/decor was very dated and had stains that were very visible- Bathroom was small and sink area was very tight- We could hear a lot of road noise from Room 402- Hot breakfast was uninspired with only the waffles you can make fresh being enjoyable. Coffee was fine.- One of our family forgot to pack some toiletries but front desk gave us her a complimentary toothbrush & deodorant. There is no such items for purchase though.
We’ve stayed at this location a few times, once during the pandemic. This time I was happy to find out breakfast was back to normal. I missed breakfast the first morning so I came back to my room with a cup of tea. I was enjoying it until a roach crawled up my cup on the little sofa table. I decided to skip breakfast the next day because of that. It’s definitely not the same as it was when we first stayed a few years ago. We noticed the padlock on the room next to ours but realized later that the door was broken as if someone had kicked it in. When we checked out, there were bags of open garbage sitting in front of the garbage can next to the elevator. That may explain the roach issue. Definitely won’t be back since my husband refuses to stay here again.
My fiance and I only needed a place to stay for a short time that was convenient to a nearby wedding we were attending. Carl at the front desk was our first point of contact and he was handling a few different things at once with professionalism and ease, I know its super stressful to work in customer facing roles and certainly I imagine the pandemic hasnt been easy as people have become more demanding and impatient. He checked us in with ease and every other person we came in contact with at the front desk was also friendly and tried to make our stay - as short as it was - the best it could be.
Positive: The staff was in credible, It all started when I arrived late due to a flight issue. staff greeted me. She was efficient and pleasant. Her conversation calming and it was a nice change. And, the cookie she offered wasnt bad either. Negative: No. Everything from the breakfast that Minan prepared to how staff took care with the house keeping, really made my trip from FL enjoyable. Even other staff members like staff jumped in & took care of issues like a sticky floor near the coffee station
Fantastic hotel in amazing location. We stayed here on Mon thru Wed as we played golf out in Greenport and then played Bethpage Black,. Staff was amazing and got great recommendations for local dining. Rooms were super clean and the bed was amazing. The breakfast was great and was a real breakfast with eggs, waffles ,,,,. The manager Kaitlyn runs a top shelf staff and was super helpful with the check in and out as we had multiple parties checking in. Will be staying here on all our visits to Long Island and I would highly recommend this hotel
I had a wonderful stay. The hotel and my room were clean. The staff were helpful and accomodating. The breakfast the morning I was there, included a hot cheese omelet and turkey sausages as well as a loaded breakfast bar full of other healthy alternatives. When Im back here in Long Island, I will definitely be staying here at the Hampton Inn, Islandia.
I want to commend all of the staff and hospitality workers at this location. I dont have all the names of everyone but Carl, Abdou, Kaitlyn and several other Receptionists and Hospitality workers made my stay bearable during very stressful conditions. I greatly appreciate the professionalism and understanding of everyone at this site; it made the difference. They deserve the upmost Kudos for a job well done over the August 19-23! Professionalism, hospitality and good customer service are hard to come by these days but this location exemplifies them all!
Rooms were clean and well maintained and the staff was friendly but a lot of whats in the description is false advertising. The breakfast is cold and boxed and there is no airport shuttle. They said its because of the pandemic and theyre in the process of updating it but its been a year, how long does it take to update?
This was the worst of the worst Hampton I have stayed in the last three years. I would recommend the local Motel6. They claim the rooms were cleaned and sanitized and the sticker put on the door and wall - FALSE!!! I showed the hotel the lie in that statement. The offered another room, same. Even the bed looked like it was slept in prior to my arrival. Want to talk about the microwave, lets not go there. The replacement refrigerator, stuff caked in it. Mystery stuff on the chair, sticky stuff on the desk, dresser and nightstand. Beware!!!! Oh, and lets not forget the eating area which was not vacuumed in days (same stuff on the floor day after day) and the trashcan near the coffee had not been cleaned since the dawn of time (trash was changed but the creamer spilled on the top of the trash can was hard and crusty. BEWARE! Diamond member here so I am not a transient visitor to Hilton properties.
Totally dissatisfied with this hotel having lack of customer satisfaction, customer loyalty, And appears to care less that you are Hiltons honours member. Does not disclosure that housekeeping will not be a daily function Up making your bed or doing vacuuming and dusting and cleaning until after your check in and that their continental breakfast only consists of a cardboard Box with what appears to be a 1/2 a bagel with a tub of cream cheese, 2 hard boiled eggs, and a 4 oz container of Orange juice. There was no milk, nor was there any creamer for the coffee, additional no coffee when I tried the cafe. Trash was over flowing and it appeared that the front desk clerk was also the kitchen staff, the housekeeping staff, and the custodian all at the same time.No a pleasant operation.
Nice staff. Room was ok except there was a strong urine smell in the room and bathroom and there’s small black ants in the room too... the hallway smelled pretty strong of weed as well and supposedly there’s a no smoking rule here. They should definitely have there staff be more on top of that.
The cleanliness was fine, pick up breakfast and coffee dandy- the paper bill was 458 which I agreed to, got home and over 100 on my credit card, I phoned main hampton inn- explain to people that proper amount will go on credit card but HIGH amount is initally on in case customer damages room- explain that
This location previously was one of my favorites to stay on Long Island. Unfortunately, the rooms are grossly outdated, the carpet is filthy and contains a smell of dog urine and pet dander. While Covid regulations have changed the course of housekeeping this location simply has not taken enough care to ensure their guests are not faced with an environment that is as clean as possible. I will never return!
I live on the road and this place is lacking basic amenities such as guest laundry. This is even more important since there isnt even a laundry facility anywhere close. Add that to the fact they only have one working elevator which is horrible considering that their Covid rules ask that only one person/family use it at a time.
It was disappointing this time around I have stayed there often, but this time nothing against front fest or management, always nice and courteous, but we were put in the wrong room, which we had to change after unloading, but after the night there and leaving, elevators were down, and we had to exit taking the stairs and my girlfriend fell down the stairs and injured her elbow and tailbone. As we were waiting for assistance the next random guest fell down the stairs from how slippery it was.
Islandia Hampton owes me nothing! I checked in for a short two night staycation just to get some R&R and do some writing and was able to do just that! My room was IMMACULATE! And SO peaceful and quiet. I felt like I was the only guest on the foor. Also something new, a little toilet paper flower in the bathroom(I appreciate the smallest of details). The coffee, tea, and creamer dispensers in the lobby remained stocked, and I noticed someone from housekeeping was always cleaning, mopping, or wiping down surfaces. Hand sanitizing stations can also be found generously and on each floor. Best of all, my I was having a difficult time with the printer and Jessica who happened to be at the front desk working alone and dealing with a difficult guest and quite professionally may I add, noticed me having a hard time, gave me her card, and offered to print the documents for me. I cant express my gratitude because the whether here has been totally awful, and I was worrying that I would have to head out to find a local printer in the snow to print my documents! This isnt my first stay here and surely will not be my last I am never disappointed and highlyrecommend!
We stayed at this place last weekend and absolutely loved it. Rooms are very clean and no smell at all, lobby is very comfortable with coffee any time, very good breakfast. Hotel stuff was very nice. Our special thank you to Jessica Torres , she is so nice and helpful . Jessica, my kids say thank you so much. If we are in the area next time we will stay only at this hotel.
The newly renovated Hampton inn in Islandia Long Island was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The operations manager, Jessica Torres, was extremely helpful in making our stay one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences we’ve ever had. I would highly recommend staying at this Hampton Inn!
Location of the hotel was not that great, the area was very industrial. It seemed liked it had once been a cheap hotel that was converted to something a bit better. Overall though everything was fine, the room was clean and comfortable. It needed better lighting though, and I did not like being placed right by the elevators, it was a little louder than I like.
I had a fantastic stay, thanks to all the staff. What a nice property. The grounds are well maintained and the rooms are impeccable, clean and well appointed. Great job folks.Id like to give a big shout out to Ms Jessica, what an amazing hostess, you rock! Also thanks to Jason the maintenance guy, for helping me get my truck going. Your a champion.I highly recommend this location to anyone who is looking for clean, comfortable accommodations staff by friendly, helpful professionals.Again, thanks to everyone for a great stay.
Great place!! Fantastic staff... and this is the most accommodating hotel Ive stayed at. I am here with a big company and they really do everything they can to make sure we are happy. They even have breakfast 1hr early because thats what time we have to leave. The swimming pool is indoors and very nice, and it is heated and stays very warm! also right next the that they have a great little workout room! Ice and Vending machines also located on every floor.. There was a snow storm and some of the staff even helped me remove the snow from around my car!! I just definitely recommend this place, very cozy and accommodating to every need!
Great location, great rooms, great service. The location is right off the highway, so its not so bad getting here. We went to the Vanderbilt mansion and it was only about a 30 minute drive. The rooms are nice and clean, good channels on the TV, the staff do a good job cleaning up. Free WiFi which is great and they have cookies, coffee, and tea in the lobby 24/7 - which is actually awesome. The pool is pretty small, only 4.5 ft deep, but I mean theres beaches right nearby so whatever. The breakfast is from 7-10am and its pretty nice. Our selection was scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, bagels, yogurt, and a waffle iron. Would stay here again
Walking into the lobby with my young children we witness guests cursing and screaming at the front desk. I got a cold reception and then got into the dirty noisy elevator. Got to my floor and smell weed hit us right as the doors opened. Can’t sleep when all you hear is slamming doors and talking all night from other guests. Room wasn’t cleaned properly!
Hotel is too close to main road, cars race engines all night, a lot truck traffics starting from 4:30AM. The hotel charges $10 a day for self parking in their property. Also, I think the hotel is hosting few families there for a while. They keep going in and out of a few rooms all night long. You can hear the room doors slamming all night long. Between the engine racing, truck traffics and door slamming, it is difficult to get any sleep.
Had a great three night stay. Room was clean each day. Bed was soft. Breakfast was great and expansive to be included with room. Pool was clean and relaxing. Only issues were the limited tv choices and the fact that the tv cut out whenever it rained. Also, cars were broken into on the last night of our stay. Overall, though, good and affordable.
The hotel was great the service great the room big and super clean but take your own breakfast because what the gave me was a bottle of water a orange and a granola bar 😳 I was waiting for the bacon bread and the good stuff but maybe is me I like to eat well but it was good.
Check-in was easy, room was nice. However, I booked through Expedia for one night, checked out the following morning. Since then I’ve had to call numerous times to dispute additional charges. The $20 holding fee was charged twice, took almost three weeks to get that credited. Apparently because I had left the Do Not Disturb sign on my door they assumed I stayed a second night. One month later on 6/19/19 they charged me again for a second night stay. They again stated it was because maid service assumed I stayed an extra night based on the door tag. I am not disputing an extra $140 charge, hoping it gets credited in 5-7 days as they say and not 2-3 weeks. I asked them to delete my card info from their system which they say they can’t do, their advice was to cancel my card altogether. One night stay is not worth all this hassle, beyond frustrated with this place. If you check-in make sure to use a credit card not debit card so at least unlawful charges can be more easily disputed.
Great location just of the Long Island Expwy. Access from either the LIE South service road or Veterans Highway allows for easy travel in any direction. The staff is professional, the free breakfast hot and plentiful. The rooms are well appointed with comfy bed, desk, chairs and table. The bathroom is adequate. If you have trouble getting in and out of a deeper tub, get a handicap room. Their amenities included the usual shampoo, conditioner, lotion, shower cap. They also had body wash, a make-up remover towelette and mouth wash. We have stayed here a couple times and will use the hotel again when we visit LI.
We are regulars at the Hampton Inn where ever we travel for good reason. With only a few exceptions, the experience is always very good. This stay so far has been no different. The girl at the front desk was extremely pleasant and helpful and the room clean and neat. The hotel itself is a little older but is currently under renovation- not imposingly so. Another great experience for us.
I love this hotel. The rooms were very clean, the alarm clock had usb charging ports for my electronics. It’s an easy on/off on Long Island ExpresswayI still give it a five but almost a four star because the breakfast was nothing to rave about.I wish the room had a recycling bin for my empty bottles of water. Or maybe the hotel could put one in the lobby.
Really nice and quiet even though there is supposed to be construction. The ice machines werent all working but we saw people working on them in a fast fashion. Really clean and we got a nice corner room. Front desk personnel were really nice and willing to help. I heard one of them asking an employee to go with a woman to make sure her key worked, so very hospitable.
The online description for this hotel says free parking but that was not the case. We were charged $10/night which seemed odd as the parking lot is large and was nearly empty the night we stayed and we are Diamond members. Also, the a/c unit in room 106 did not dehimidify which made the room quite uncomfortable and affected our sleep negatively. The carpet was slightly damp in our room and so were all the soft surfaces, like the bedding. I dont know if this is the case for other rooms. The front desk clerk the afternoon we checked in was very very nice and the the woman who took care of the breakfast area was very thorough. The coffee was hot and tasty and the breakfast had a lot of variety but unfortunately had an institutional flavor, especially the fresh fruit which tasted of something else, vinegar? Citric acid? I dont know but it was offputting.Once I checked out I sat in the lobby to wait for my husband to pick me up. The lobby is nice, I had some reading to do, there were others in the lobby, some conducting business, including an interview. However, there was a REGIONAL MANAGER of some type in the center of the lobby in a conference call for over an hour who was talking at the top of his lungs and for most of the call I could hear the other people on the conference call until I got so frustrated about listening to some guys personnel information (the man who is never home to see his family who is gone two weeks at a time, chuckle, chuckle - really?? This is funny?) I gave the regional manager a look and he turned his speaker phone off. Yet I still know all about:*All the problems cross the country (for sure heard about Atlantic City, Denver, Atlanta that I remember.)*Atlanta apparently has unions for elevator people but they are choosing a nonunion company which costs less but may need to hire a project manager to ensure things are done right.(Tim and Brian are to be updated on so many things I lost count. The regional manager literally had no answers to any of their questions and sounded like he was making excuses and promises to provide information tomorrow. The more they asked him, the more answers he didnt have, the louder he got.I understand people take care of business in all sorts of public places...this guy was way way too loud AND HAD ACCESS TO OFFICES HERE IN THE HOTEL. Just unbelievable and so rude. After that long there was 5 minutes of quiet. Then another conference call started or the speaker phone was turned back on, not sure. As Im sitting here Im again listening to behind the scenes hotel business. Has this guy never heard of ear phones? Thoroughly disgusted.
The staff was very friendly. The rooms were extremely clean. Our only issue was with the heat/AC unit. The room was smoldering when we first arrived. After 30 minutes of fiddling with the thermostat, we realized it did not control the unit. Otherwise, the stay was very pleasant.
Diamond member staying on points for one night, had a small issue at check in which was handled no problem. First room dirty no housekeeping had been there, 2nd room same issue then the desk clerk said “show me pictures”like he didn’t believe me. Management will be called tomorrow
Went here with my family. We rented 2 rooms . We had a horrific experience !!! First we got stuck between floors on the elevator, then the fire alarm went off cause someone burnt popcorn on the 2nd floor and the worst part was no hot water . We could not take showers or bathe after swimming in the pool. Found out they rented us the rooms knowing there was no hot water. We were never told in advance. When I first inquired at the front desk they said it must just be my room. I explained I had 2 rooms. Then found out from the maintenance guy the entire hotel has no hot water. When I checked out this morning there was still no hot water. We stayed from 8/31/19-9/1/19. Someone from the management in the hotel told the main office at Hilton the hot water was fixed. It was a lie !!! No hot water !!! No warning !!! No refund on my rooms !!! The guy at the desk said the manager will not be in till 10am. This is a horrible way to treat people. I called the 800 number to Hilton and was not satisfied. They had incorrect info from islandia’s management !!! Please beware of this hotel !!! They knew the hot water was broken and just wanted the money for the rooms !!! They are not willing to take any responsibility for their actions !!! They should have relocated us to another hotel and told us the truth !!! Never again !!! Kids are still traumatized from the elevator experience !!!
I gave it 3 stars because when we got there my mom showed her the phone which had the conformation number from a reservation placed for a king and sofa bed on a higher floor through AAA Travel. The woman handed us two room keys to a room on the GROUND FLOOR. We went into the room and saw a double bed. That was the only bed. We proceeded back to the front desk and was told that was the room we reserved and it doesnt matter whether you put 1 or 5 people on there, you get what you reserve. The lady had a really bad attitude. Multiple towels were 3dirty, the rollaway cot that we had to get 2had snot and was dirty. The only good thing was the guy at the desk after the lady and left and the janitor guy who brought us our pillows and the cot. The breakfast was also very nice. The TV broke because of a rain storm. The office was right next to out room, we shared a wall. They were banging all night. My mom was refunded the full price payed and Customer Satisfaction is definitely guaranteed in the end we got a free but not so good hotel visit. It was free, so I cant really complain...
Stayed for business, excellent hotel for the price. Continental breakfast was great, with a ton of selections and variations from day-to-day. Room was clean, only small complaint would be the traffic noise from the expressway but nothing that would keep from returning. Internet was perfect for use- email, website viewing etc...Did have to buffer for videos. Allowing the shuttle to be used for early morning flights (shuttle doesnt start until 7 am, which is weird because after talking with the front desk she commented that alot of people ask for the shuttle before 7 am) would be nice, as Id rather tip a hotel employee then pay out for a taxi.
Gave terrible customer service when we left something behind in the room and attempted to get it sent to us. Took 3 phone calls and finally a call to Corp. Hilton to get them to do something very simple. And they never said gee, sorry you had this problem. F for customer service.
**** Please Read ****There are plenty of good reviews but please look at all the 1 star reviews. They all have one thing in common.. Hearing everything through the walls...The walls are very very thin, I don’t sleep with a TV on or anything. I can hear every single thing possible in the room next to me.Bags opening,Arguing,Brushing teeth,Burping,CryingAnd talking.(Yes at one point some serious crying was going on for at least 20 minutes, then they argued about what to eat for dinner then we heard them eating their dinner. Me and my wife just drove 19 hours thinking this was going to be a nice quiet, relaxing night. Honestly can’t be mad at the neighbors I can only be upset with the hotel itself. This is my vacation, all me and my wife wanted was some privacy. If we can hear all of that it really makes things awkward for us. Me and my wife are walking around and talking like ninjas so they don’t hear us.The price of the hotel and the nice staff gave them that second star but I cannot go any higher than 2. My entire week is spiraling out of control because of how thin these walls are.Me and my wife are contemplating ending this vacation tomorrow because of how upset we are about this. All I can think about is poor people in the room next to us when our infant wakes up at 2-3AM and starts crying for food. They might leave a 1 star review also.I thought I booked 2 rooms, but it was my mistake because it is labeled as a “Double room with two double beds”The way I read that made me and my wife believe we were going to have elite privacy. We booked this 5 months ago and couldn’t wait for some real vacation privacy. Instead we were all jammed into one tiny room with two beds and neighbors that are apparently non stop talkers. Instant regret. My $1000.00 has instantly been regretted. All I can do right now is write this review as I lay here and listen to the room next to me wondering when this night mare vacation will end.Buyer beware.
Website said 24 hour airport shuttle. They dont have a 24 he shuttle. Had to take an expensive taxi. I could hear the dude in the room next to mine snoring all night like there wasnt even a door there. Next morning a roach crawled out of the drain when I turned the water on in the shower. At least the breakfast options are decent on your way out. I was a little surprised Hilton attached their name to a place like this.
Decent enough property convenient to Hauppauge, Islandia and Ronkonkoma. This hotel is definitely showing its age a bit - could use a paint job and carpet cleaning for sure. Sticky soda residue on the entertainment center reveals the fact the room was not very carefully cleaned. Nice new flat screen TVs but no premium channels whatsoever. Noticeable Street noise in the rooms that face Veterans Highway.
I was given a room with adjoining room attached, although, the door was closed the sounds of occupants opening their food could be heard while I was tucked in my bed. I could later hear [2 AM] the occupants trying on different dresses and debating which they look better in. Called the front desk to ask that they go over to the room and them to be quiet and the front desk asked me what room #. I told them the adjoining room, but they still asked me where. Still waiting for them to go over [10 minutes] and we are less than 100 feet from the office.
Staff was pleasent. However, cold showers regardless of time of day, thin walls between rooms, leaking bathroom sink trap and improperly attached and loose bathroom fixtures gives this recently renovated hotel a run down feel. Time for a new maintenance person I think!
Worst experience ever! Granted it appeared that we booked the wrong type of room. But being nice and having good customer service leaves a positive impression and reputation. However, that does not justify 30 mins waiting for someone to appear at front desk, rudeness of front desk stating that’s what you get for booking on Expedia and getting discounted rate, and the best, after all this rudeness, refusal to let us cancel reservation even for the last night. Oh and they were even rude to the Expedia person that called them on our behalf. My God I know this is NY and rudeness is in abundance, but wow. Keep your money folks, not worth the aggravation.
Horrible! First there was an open bag of Doritos left in the room next to the couch (which we didnt see until after we were already in the room and settled), but no one did anything about it. They didnt even come and get it from the room. Then I accidentally left a sweater in the closet and it took me 6 days to get an answer about it. I called so many times and left messages with about 4 people and NO ONE called me back. I finally called and the manager answered and he assured me that he would talk to the head of housekeeping and call me back in 30 minutes...never happened. I gave it a few hours and decided to call him back. When I did, he said the housekeeper didnt find anything; which I told him was insane because I 100% left a sweater in the closet. I accused his housekeeper or stealing to which he said he would look into it more. The next day he called me and they miraculously found my sweater. The staff is rude and the housekeepers suck. Never staying in a Hampton Inn again.
Noise, we were right on Vet’s highway. They charged $10 to park! This is not a resort!Tried to alter a reservation made with Hilton Honors points. Front desk manager said she could not do it. I put her on the phone with Henry from HHH. He told her how to do it. When she got off the phone she said “I don’t know what he is talking about. I will have to speak to the back office.” Four more visits to front desk. Never got any help.
It is a very nice hotel out on Long Island. It is right off the Long Island Expressway. The prices are reasonable. There are a lot of hotel specials, ask when you call for a reservation, or check on the Internet. There is free WIFI in every room. There is a beautiful large pool on the first floor, along with a gym or exercise room. There is a complimentary breakfast, including hot items such as eggs, pancakes, it varies by the day. The rooms are large and comfortable. There is plenty of free parking. Someone told me, there is a shuttle to the airport. The staff was friendly.
Depending on how my visit today goes will determine whether I give it the next 2 stars and write a better review. It was nice but it got bad cuz we as human allow our impulses to get the best of us and sometimes fail to behave like a chivalrous gentleman who with his words demonstrate a certain demeanor that allows those around them, a feeling of security in being themselves. Apologies if my presence wasnt that of a man who is well versed in the art of charming a person into friendship.
They are doing construction on the outside of the building, and it would appear this hotel is popular for youth sports teams to roughhouse in the room above. I definitely do not recommend for crew rest, but it should serve you well otherwise. WAIT NO! this hotel doesnt have Cartoon Network, who doesnt have Cartoon Network?! Nvm this hotel is pretty bad because of that, I need to watch my Adult Swim Cartoons. Sure they have TBS, but they seem to have placed their dollar on Big Bang theory ( which has the worst laugh track in the world) and forsaken their previous All Family Guy, All the Time format. But this review isnt about TBS, it is the fact that this hotel suffers GREATLY from not having Cartoon Network
As I am currently sitting in my guest room, I am getting more agitated by the second. I was placed in a room adjacent to the front desk.I got here around 3pm today. It is not 7:34 and for the past 4 and a half hours there have been a group of children playing tag and screaming at the top of their lungs in the hallway and consistently running back and forth. You would think the front desk would tell them to stop right? Apparently not.The walls are paper thin. I can here every single thing happening in the room next to me. Which is a mother whos been yelling at her children intermittently and yelling WHO IS IT whenever someone knocks on her door. I literally heard her call the front desk to ask for more towels. Thirty second later the towels come knocking on her door and she is screaming WHO IS IT.I chose this hotel because it is next to where I will be taking my boards tomorrow. Im assuming a lot of fellow nurses chose to stay here because of the proximity. FUTURE RNs OF New York STATE. I do NOT recommend staying here! There is no way Im going to bed early tonight to be energized for the NCLEX. Thanks Hampton inn!
Kevin was the new guy behind the front desk. He was really green but really friendly. Everything I asked, he would have to consult with his manager. It must have been more of a culture shock to me, but there really isnt too much luxury out here in terms of hotels. This Hampton Inn was no different, but it really was the best choice out here. Walmart was near by and around the corner, and Dave and Busters would fulfill the extent of night time activities here. Overall, this is the place to be if you are staying out in theLong Island area. Now if you excuse me, its time to head back to Manhattan. **scurries**
I was upset to find my room in disare. The bed was not made and upon further investigation of the room it had not been cleaned at all. When I called the front desk the employee was not very helpful in telling me why my room was like that and did not offer a room change or discount for that matter.

2022-04-20Great location, near shopping centers. I am a fan of Hampton Inns, they provide quality, affordable temporary rooms. Our room was clean, there werent enough linens or toiletry supplies available. It was nice that the pool was open. Breakfast was good. Midday snack, and all day hot beverage station is a nice touch. Convenient to where we needed to be. I would definitely stay here again.

2022-05-13I have stayed at this Hampton Inn many times and have never been disappointed. But by far this last visit was awesome (4/27/22 thru 5/2/22). The desk staff are wonderful and very accommodating. They took care of all of our needs during a very difficult time for my family. We had booked 3 rooms and the staff made sure the rooms were kept together on the first floor for us. A special recognition to Bobby(at the front desk) and Gabrielle (Sales Director) for helping me set up our rooms before my family had arrived from Florida. The breakfast was a perfect start to the day and we enjoyed the quiet evenings sitting in the lobby with family. The Evening staff even provided a nice care package to put a smile on our face during our tough time. We have stayed at many Hampton Inns and by far this was our best experience, Kudos to the entire staff. If you want your room cleaned you must tell the front desk, which was never a problem. A++++++ Thank You.

2022-04-26Excellent amenities in an ultra convenient location. Even some small details like the scent of the soap was fantastic. A great value for money hotel experience. If you want 5-star Vegas accommodations, you should go there. If you want a clean, balanced, happy location during travel. Then this Hilton property is a solid selection.

2022-04-21I have stayed quite a few times at this Hampton Inn. The rooms are clean, the beds are very comfortable, plenty of comfy pillows, good TV and the friendliest staff Ive ever encountered. I didnt have breakfast this trip but when I have its been very satisfying and I love that theres hot coffee available 24/7. Whenever I need a hotel I always try to find the nearest Hampton Inn because I know I can count on a good satisfying experience.

2022-05-15The hotel room was extremely dirty. There were used tissues hidden behind the dresser. I also stuck my hand in chewing gum which someone stuck on the dresser. The room smelled musty and the floors were damp when we walked in. Overall very unclean and unsanitary. I wouldn’t let my dog stay in a room so bad. We ended up leaving and going to the Marriott. Hotel staff helped us though and gave me a full refund. I will never stay at another Hampton inn. If 0 was an option I would’ve picked that.

2022-05-28Bed Bugs... Unfortunately after a several nights stay I found that I had dozens of bites all over my body. Thankfully I keep my clothes and luggage in the garage when I return and it does not appear they came home with me. I tried to submit feedback and the form would not work so I utilized an agent who said they would take my information someone would follow up within three days. It has now been six and I still have not received so much as an email. Not much else to say. Make your own call from here. Staff physically at the location were nice.

2022-06-01I stayed here for the night before and the night of my wedding on May 26th 2022. The staff , Bobby and Katlin, were very welcoming upon arrival and they were very helpful. I was able to book all rooms under my name, and once that was done I was able to change it to the individual people that were staying in those rooms. The process was easy and convenient on the Hilton website and I did the same through the Expedia website. Hotel was very clean and all rooms were also. So glad I chose this hotel!

2022-06-19Outdated,doesn’t feel clean, and very loud. The room had a terrible smell, when I asked the agent what can be done he replied,”sorry nothing”. I had to put dryer sheets on the air vent, so the smell would subside. The sofa in room is terribly smelly. The shower was unclean.Probably the worst part is the amount of noise you can hear from the hallway. Both my husband and myself were awaken in the middle of the night by people knocking on doors and turning our entrance door handle!! Scary. In the morning all I can hear is crying kids.In short, use this place as a LAST RESORT option. Also note this room was way too expensive for the quality $300/night

2022-07-04Friendly, efficient staff ... spotlessly clean ... real NY bagels at breakfast! Lots O Parking ... literally right off the highway ... serious water pressure on the showers ... and plenty of hot water. Pretty much perfect stay.
