Positive: Breakfast Negative: My deposit being held for more days than the clerk assured me to get me from cancelling the reservation and here it is 3 days later I still don¿t have it .. the drain in the tub didn¿t work correctly so it was water all over the floor the counters d
Positive: The location was perfect for me. It was centrally located for where I needed to be, it was relatively quiet (away from the highway, and the main road), and it was close to plenty of restaurants. Negative: This is more a complaint about guests, but I had a family of 5 staying in the next room. They were fairly loud and noisy. They allowed their children to play in the hallway. In the morning, after that family left, an alarm went off for about 15 minutes
From the time we got there, until we left, the staff was courteous and helpful. Our room fit our needs well, and my handicapped wife really appreciated their concern. Breakfast was great, and the staff again showed professional concern by providing gloves and assisting customers who werent familiar with how to operate the waffle maker. This might seem small, but it allowed the customer to have good waffles, and the station was maintained a neat and clean appearance. We enjoyed this Hampton Inn and would gladly stay there again.
From start to finish people were friendly in that they were interested in helping everyone there, not just smiling and turning away. It was a sad time for us but it was made more pleasant by staying at the Hampton Inn.I commented to my husband that, if one is staying one to three nights, there isnt a big need for housekeeping. No one comes to your room unless you request something and, frankly, that might be a good way to help the environment and cut down on costs from here on in.
I was very surprised at both the quality of the hotel and the outstanding staff. These days, many employees feel they are doing you a favor by talking to you. These folks were genuinely friendly and engaging. I enjoyed my stay so much, I have requested this hotel for my next trip to ROC at the end of the month.
Pet friendly …. Pet Hair all over the couch so nasty. Had to change my room. Then came the power outage the next night. Horrible communication regarding this. Not one apology for the inconvenience nor did they even acknowledge the situation 😩…. Yes we all know things happen, but say something to your guest. Poor communication
The hotel itself probably deserves five stars, and the front desk staff did their best to be helpful. However, the information online, and the reservation clerk, gave incorrect information about the amenities; specifically a hot tub was listed as being at this hotel and I was counting on it, only to find out when I checked in that there is not one. That led to disappointment for myself and my party, that left me with a slightly negative feeling about the hotel.
Beds were too firm for us. Breakfast was okay but not as good as other hotels we have stayed at. Grab bar in shower was in middle of wall & gets in way of showering. I bumped it a couple of times. No body wash supplied in bathroom like other hotels. I will choose a different hotel next time. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.
We got here last night and our room had black hairs all over the place and was filthy, two towels and no wash cloths for 4 people and worst of all there were no linens or pillows for the pull out couch. With 4 people, what did they think we were going to do, all sleep in the king bed? My poor son had to sleep on a bare hotel mattress with only our top sheet as his blanket because the front desk doesnt have any blankets either!!! Ridiculous. They said they would wash one and bring it up in 2 hours - we waited until 2 am and still nothing. Now Im going to have to go to Walmart and buy a blanket so my son can have something to sleep with tonight. Asked to talk to housekeeping - they werent there!! Same thing in the morning. They wont be there until 9. Asked to talk to a manager, she wasnt there either. We can talk to her on Monday. I would like to leave and go to a different hotel but I already paid and I doubt Id see a refund - that person isnt here either is the answer no doubt. They blamed this on a full house and understaffing (ya think?) but what hotel doesnt have enough sheets for every bed?! Staff not wearing masks either including breakfast lady who was walking right up to everyone and chatting. Avoid this hotel unless you want to sleep on a bare mattress and take a bath with other peoples hair for 200 bucks a night.
Thankfully bed linens were clean, bathroom clean. Unfortunately carpet was not clean; room stinks like unclean, very dusty & debris along walls n corners. Freezer was completely frosted over, unusable, but inside of fridge was clean. Desktop was clean. Only stayed one night, moved to diff hotel bc smell was just too much and didn’t feel clean. Staff was very courteous and respectful, they were all 5-star. The room was not.
The rooms were decent. We stayed at the Hampton Inn for 3 days. For the price, this hotel is definitely poorly managed.1. The kitchen staff was understaffed. Every morning they were running out of food and the garbage cans in the breakfast area were overflowing with garbage. It was very gross.2. They could never get the air conditioner to work in the room for me and my husband. They kept saying that we just had to push this button or turn the knob, etc. but the air conditioning never worked properly.3. On the 2nd day, my son found a TICK in his bed. They changed out the mattress and the sheets right away.As a result, my family and I have no desire to stay at a Hampton Inn again. My family and I do a lot of road trips and this was by far the worst hotel weve ever stayed at.
Gosh this place needs an interior redesign. Things were dingy. My biggest complaint... The AC unit ran nonstop but didnt really keep the room cool. It was super hot the days we stayed while work was being done at our home. It would have been nice to have had fully functional AC.
I try to be very forgiving in my reviews, especially when people are working service jobs where they are probably underpaid and treated unkindly a lot of the time, but we didnt have a good experience in this hotel. Its a bit older and past its prime (arent we all). Its far from shabby but little things like loose fixtures/worn corners in the bathroom, crud in the drawers, stains on the walls, and a very humid, not-fresh kind of room atmosphere (mild smell) take away compared to other locations. The room was clean but seemed a bit overdue for a deep clean, again mostly noticeable in the bathroom, on the baseboards etc. Loud, water-wasting toilet. Our neighbors above were rowdy for hours and prevented us from sleeping well, though the staff tried to quiet them and I cant blame them for this specifically. It was suitable for a short stay and a far cry from the worst choice but probably would choose another next time.
I was a bit disappointed compared to other Hampton Inns that I have visited. The breakfast changed so it wasnt great. There was long strands of hair in the bath tub and on the clean towels before we even touched them. The room design was a bit shabby and the floors were dirty, needed vacuuming. One of the bathroom shelves was on the verge of falling off and the bath tub is slippery, we had to ask the front desk for an anti-slip bath mat. The walls between the rooms are very thin so its very easy to hear if your neighbours are talking or arguing. Customer service was friendly and helpful though.
For $140/night I have higher expectations. Bathroom was clean, staff was friendly, especially the breakfast short order cook. Our room was on the small side, and was in desperate need of preventative maintenance. The carpet was filthy, the sink stopper was broken, the laminate furniture was falling apart. Their covid cleaning protocols seem strong. Location was convenient to 390.
Do NOT stay here!!! Rooms are disgusting!!! Very dirty, mold everywhere in the bathroom! Looked like someone threw a drink on the wall and just left it. My son found food garbage in the couch. A dog went to the bathroom in the elevator and it stayed there for hours. We will definitely be taking our business elsewhere
Very nice no-contact check in and check out experience. Really nice to see that as COVID-19 is coming back. The 1br suite we had was comically large. Two conjoined rooms were turned into one. The bed was nice enough and the bathroom was relatively fancy for this part of the world.Unfortunately, one of the shelves in the bathroom was hanging off the wall when we arrived. One of the electrical outlet covers was broken and looked like it had been kicked. Also there were no cups of any kind in the kitchenette, which was odd given the coffee maker that was there.Overall I would go again in spite of the negatives.
The first night was fine and room was okay, it seemed clean and all. But the second night, the children of several families were allowed to run the halls on my floor (4th), laugh and scream until well after midnight, despite complaints to the management. At one a.m. I finally heard an adult male instructing the children to go to their rooms and I fell asleep shortly after. At 3:15, they were at it again so I just checked out and left. The clerk was sympathetic to my problem as he checked me out but offered no solution to the problem. It seemed to me that he felt it wasnt unusual...! By the way, I am a grandfather, I love kids and I dont mind their noise--but this was disrespectful to the other guests and way, way over the top.
Horrible! The room was dirty too start. Then went too shower and because drain was slow I had a puddle in the tub. On top of that they have a sliding door for closet/bathroom. Watch your fingers mine got caught and was a bloody mess. Found out after words other guest broke a nail. Told/showed reception and she just laughed. Manager didnt bother too call and ask if we were okay or nothing. Too say the least I filed a complaint. I will book elsewhere
Not well maintained or cleaned - the room itself was redone at some but everything that was in it - including shower fixtures, mattress, furniture and appliance were just brought back form the old room and they were disgusting , unusable, noisy smelly and uncomfortable.
The staff was incredible, so nice and friendly! You definitely get what you paid for and more. The breakfast is really good with lots of options, so there is literally something for anyone. The smoothies are amazing along with the fresh juice. The staff was constantly refilling everything, it happened to be a busy weekend with a lot of guest, but anytime anything ran out they were right there to refill it. The pool and jacuzzi are nice and very well maintained. They also offer pool towels and a shower to rinse off in the pool area which I personally love this. They also have vending machines and and easy to locate ice machine. This is our second time staying at this location and they were super nice about giving us the room we requested. The cons would be that the room could’ve been cleaner, there were some marks on the walls that looked pet related, and some things that we had mentioned to the hotel staff previously that still wasn’t fixed (Like shelves in the bathroom drooping)but it has only been a week since we stayed and I know things take time. I am so grateful that the Hampton has made and affordable yet clean and friendly hotel.
Ample parking, and even on a night they were sold out of rooms it was still quiet within the room. Super comfy beds. Tasty breakfast included. Complimentary snacks and bottled water given upon arrival! The toilets didnt flush so well when I was there, but maybe being completely booked messed with the plumbing.
Thank you for a wonderful stay! I travel all over and right now hotels are not welcoming with signs and attitudes. I know COVID rules. They have a nice sign on entrance don’t need to be told over and over. This place felt more at home. Pets stay free. Lady at the desk was smiling and kind. Thanks for the atmosphere. When you have to travel to make a living your looking for a welcoming place to stay and this was a nice place to rest. Parking lot has lots of room, space for truck with thirty four foot trailer, not crammed. I walked my dogs down the road by water and it was peaceful. They also had way more to offer than any high end hotel I have been to since COVID in the breakfast area. My husband brought back sandwiches to heat up and some boiled eggs. They even had a bagel that was gluten free for those with gluten intolerance. After driving from early in the morning to ten o’clock at night this was a nice room with great bed and clean sheets and towels. The price was good too! It’s not a brand new hotel but it’s homey! I will be staying again.
This was a terrible experience from start to finish. Being handed a plunger when I found the toilet was clogged upon arrival to my room is only the start to the rude and unsanitary service I experienced. I wont be staying there again even if it is a group reservation!
FANTASTIC!!! I have always loved the Hampton Inns. Excellent service, they make you feel like royalty. Wonderful bathroom and shower spaces. Small kitchen areas with working microwave, refrigerator, and stove. As long as the service stays the same this place will always get 5 Stars from our family.Thank you Hampton Inn.
Not good. We booked here for the pool that they advertise on their website...but apparently it is closed on the weekends. So no pool. The bathtub had several hairs in it...not clean. Only one coffee packet in the room. Only cable tv available, bought an hdmi cable to connect my laptop...but the remote doesnt have an option to switch to hdmi. Their free wifi...buffering...buffering. We booked for two nights, we spent the day out on Saturday and when we returned to the room our keys didnt work. We went to the front desk and they had to add another day as they were only programmed for one day. There was a party in a room near ours, we had to call the front desk after midnight. And at no point did any staff ask how the stay was going.
Cant say enough about the staff. Chris at the front desk was amazing!! Had an issue with our in room fridge and they made it better in 20 mins. We had our dog and he was so welcomed and had a great time. Nice paved path around the hotel to walk your dog. Clean rooms, good breakfast.
Extended our stay last night, then was told 2 hours before checl out this am that they couldnt extend because of our dogs. They only called once about our dogs and said it wasnt an issue just wanted us to know. Then nothing, no calls, spoke with front desk several time and nothing was said.
After a bunch of travel delays I arrived just before midnight. Tired, sweaty, and probably stinky, I walked into the lobby and the service I received was outstanding. They quickly got me to my room and helped me with the small issues I had, half of which were due to me being too tired to think like a normal person. The room was clean and everything had clearly been recently disinfected. Overall a great experience, I just wish I could have gotten in earlier to spend more time here. The only reason Im giving four stars is because the air conditioner was terrible. When I got into the room it was around 80°, so I set it to 70°. I spent most of the evening fairly warm. When I woke up at 9:00 a.m. it still had not gotten down to 70° in the room. Thats 9 hours with the AC running on full and it wasnt able to take the temperature of the room down 10° when it was only 72° outside.
Booked here with a soccer team for two nights. Staff was exceptional in keeping our team members on the same floor considering they were booked full with many other teams. Both Christopher and Melissa treated our team as guests in their own home. They also ensured we had the Ontario room for our team dinner and breakfast. This hotel was very clean, easily accessible, and offered a wonderful breakfast in the morning. We would definitely book here again!
Very nice hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. Stayed for one night with my 2 cats and the room was definitely safe for them. Some minor things like dirty window sills and one odd/annoying thing was the bathroom door which slides and can become the closet door (so you cant have both doors closed at the same time).Since COVID, currently no open breakfast (understandably), so to compensate they give a small bag in the morning with some breakfast items, which I thought was considerate. Pool and fitness area also understandably closed.Overall, would definitely stay again!
Wouldnt recommend! The hot tub was used and under construction (neither front desk or the website mentioned this!), the pool was very murky! Was very itchy at night from either the pool water or the bed sheets!! When we checked in, we found left over food in our rooms fridge from.the previous people! When we told the maid staff that was in the hallway, none of them understood English and kept trying to give me febreeze and garbage bags. The next morning, the maid knocked on our door at 1015am to ask if we were leaving soon! Check out time was 11. Also, when we asked for a cot, they wanted to charge us $20 extra! We have stayed at many a hotels and have never ever been charged for a cot!Waffles were good at breakfast in the morning. Thats about all I have positive to say!
By far the best hotel we’ve stayed at in our journey, I am here with my disabled mom for a funeral which made us all very emotional. The staff was beyond helpful and considerate. We had an issue the first night we stayed and as soon as we told the GM Camille she immediently addressed it appropriately then followed up by helping us with our next nights stay. The rooms were exceptional and we were beyond happy we could have our little puppy as well! The breakfast was amazing and all the staff accommodated my mom who is completely disabled. They brought baskets full of yummy treats with linens outside the door and even were okay with our crazy day to day scheduling. The front desk staff was AMAZING and always with a bright smile. We are still here waiting on a cancer appointment and WILL be returning. Thank you so much to all the staff at the Hampton! 💙
First time Ive ever stayed at a Hampton Inn and I enjoyed it very much! Friendly staff and very prompt on fixing things that are wrong with your room... example, our refrigerator didnt work and we told the woman at the front desk and within 10min she already was working on solving that problem! Got on the elevator and went to our room only to find a maintenance man ready to replace it! Took all together about 20min! It was a shock to us and we were so very impressed that I wrote a review on her ... an excellent one at that! Thank you for making our first stay a very happy and relaxing experience!PS... I love the beds! Very comfortable!
The rooms were lovely and the staff was so helpful. There was a shortage of pool towels, but they were able to provide them when we asked. Breakfast was okay, but the layout of the breakfast room is very crowded. Overall it was a good stay and we would definitely stay there again.
Pros: Rooms clean, breakfast attendant was absolutely wonderful.Cons: Shortage of staff, only one at front desk. Took several calls to get an answer. Took 3 hours to receive extra body towels which were the wrong ones.(received hand towels instead). Front desk clerk admitted that they were the only staff present at the moment. Toliet clogged and was told we must plunge it ourselves after waiting 2 hours to bring up a plunger. No one to monitor the pool area. Random teenagers were showing up using the facilities and were not visitors of the hotel. Spa area was filled with dirty soap scum floating on top of the waters. I, myself took the net off the wall to scoop up scum so that my children can use. Older teenagers were diving in the pool over the smaller younger kids risking injury. No dry towels provided so my children walk back through the hotel and returned to our rooms wet. After spending almost $300 for one night and receiving a disappointing, below than average costumer service, I am strongly reluctant of returning.
The hotel looks brand new and well maintained. Room is in excellent condition. Breakfast is tasty, with good choice of food. In contrast to many other hotels, the water in pool is warm and pleasant, Id say around 29C, hot tub is fully operational and theres a lot of pool towels available. Wi-Fi is fast. Staff is nice and polite.
The rooms were extremely clean and cared for each day. The front desk associates were very approachable and sweet at all times. A buffet breakfast was served every morning in the main lobby that was clocked freshly and had first fruit cut up as well. I enjoyed my stay.
The location is nice and secluded even though its right off of a main road, which is nice because its a few minute drive to get to just about anything you would want or need. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The rooms are very nice, always clean and there are many amenities. I especially love the double room suites with the kitchenette and living room.
My boss and our crew went to Rochester for business everyone was so pleased with their stay. My boss was so impressed with Chris he was so kind and helpful. The rooms were so clean, breakfast was served earlier to accommodate our crew before they went off to work. I made the reservation with Ashley she was also kind made check-in easy for my guys.Thank you everyone!!!
This was an exceptional hotel experience for my family. I picked this hotel based on 2 great ratings online, and I was very happy my family stayed here. The desk clerk, I wish I had her name, was exceptional. I called to book, and Haley was very helpful and friendly. We did the family fun night and my girls loved getting the package of goodies, and the free pizza was yummy too. The bed was so comfy and the free hot breakfast was amazing!!! The pool was clean and warm. Thanks for a wonderful experience!!!I would absolutely stay here again.
The check-in was quick. The room was great. The only downside was the cable tv was slow when channel surfing, like a couple second delay from clicking the button to the next channel popping up. The breakfast was great. The beds were very comfortable. The room was very clean.
Found pool area dirty, lot of hair in pool. Spa water had odor and was cloudy. Restroom in pool area not clean, was told night before every room was full due to Easter weekend. I fixed toilet in room as it would not stop running needs a little more attention to detail.
The hotel itself was very nice, the clientele who visit it, not so much. There was a sports team there who were really loud both in their rooms and the halls. Then a LARGE family came in off thr street thinking they could use the lobby as a place to hold their birthday party while not actually having rented any room in the hotel. The staff were adamant that they needed to at least rent one of the conference rooms which the family finally did. In the meantime, a horde of people showed up for the party. They were loud when hanging out in the lobby and insanely loud in the pool which they pretty much took over. Not soon after, there was a very noticable smell of pot coming from the conference room. Overall, it was a terrible experience. Ive been to this hotel before and thankfully this hasnt happened before so Ill try again and see if this occurs again. If so, Im outta there!Update 4/28/18:So I returned to the hotel for a weekend stay and things have not really improved. The public bathrooms (in lobby and near pool) were never cleaned after the morning staff did them once when they arrived. The trash was overflowing and there were even bags of McDonalds trash next to the cans that were never removed. The free coffee/tea/hot cocoa area in the lobby was dirty and not restocked regularly. I also forgot to mention in my last review, the beds were HARD and uncomfortable. I wont be staying at this hotel again. Gave them 2 chances and I wont waste any more of my good money.
LOVE this hotel. Stayed here at least 4 times so far (with my boyfriend and great dane). Cozy and clean accommodations, GREAT friendly staff, breakfast in the morning, and they are so so welcoming to my dog every time we show up. Im the first to admit, not all pet allowing hotels meet my standard for cleanliness. That has never been an issue here! Pet-friendly, clean, comfortable, and awesome staff?? What more could you ask for.
Second time staying here. This time for the weekend. Not happy at all. First night we got here had to switch rooms as tub didnt work right. And the second room they put us in . the dust is so thick in the bathroom. So we called and asked if someone could come clean the bathroom. Well lets just say they cleaned half ads. No room to sit in the morning to eat breakfast as they always have tons of kids eating and cant even get to the food as kids will go right in front of you. And second night the heat in our room only works when it wants to. And forget about enjoying the indoor pool or hot tub. Cause the kids are running wild. And you got trash all over, diapers laying on floor by hot tub and never any towels . So I can say we wont be coming back after we leave tomorrow. They really need times where adults can use pool and hot tub
Facility in mint condition (like new) better than an average Hampton inn. Perfect for a good night of rest. Kitchen a little busy in the morning... but had everything you might want for a breakfast. Tons of plugs and USB connection in the room, perfect to recharge devices. I would recommend the place!
We stayed at the hotel for the weekend. The location was decent considering we were visiting a nearby college. The rooms are decent, we were only really in the rooms to sleep and shower, didnt spend much time in there otherwise. The room seemed mostly stocked when we arrived, except for the tissues which were at the end of the box. Other than that everything was well stocked upon our arrival. The next day however we were not restocked with as many towels as we needed, and had to ask for more tissues as those were not restocked either. The wifi was also an issue, as we were given the password however the landing page never appeared, so we were unable to utilize the wifi. The complementary breakfast was good though. Overall the hotel was fine for what we needed from it, however some services couldve been a bit better.
I stayed in room 425, on the top floor. I was in town for business and booked the room online. The whole process was smooth and painless. The staff members with whom I had contact were genial, and genuinely cordial. The complimentary coffee was great, the breakfast was satisfying, and my room was clean, well-appointed, and very comfortable. There were even USB ports for device charging in the lamp bases! I would most certainly choose to stay at this location again if I had to return to the Rochester area.
The shower was weak. That was my main disappointment. The breakfast was good; better than most. That is, better than most of the food that normally is served at hotels. Id say this was about 4/10, more objectively. The bed and pillows were fine. Nothing great in that I didnt notice the bed and the pillows went flat. The location and building were nice enough. Normal depressing affairs of uniformity. Good if you like that sort of thing. Im pretty ambivalent, personally. The staff was friendly. They offered me 2pm checkout for no charge. I had no unpleasant run-ins.Overall, pretty good. Im picky about showers, so that deflated my overall opinion. If you need a moderatly priced sleep place that is inoffensive to just about anybody, I wouldnt hesitate.
Room was ok. housekeeping couldve been better. Didnt replace used towels and didnt leave items requested like extra towels. Clean wash cloth had hair woven into it. Pretty gross. Front desk was kind and courteous during check in and check out but seemed uninterested when I asked for items that housekeeping failed to leave. I would try another in the area before I went back.
The rooms were clean the bathrooms were clean the beds were comfortable the only thing I didnt like about it was that they told us that the pool would be open Monday through Friday only to get there on a Friday and they told us Monday through Thursday so we had 12 people that we had invited and we had to find something else for the children to do which cost us more money so that is about the only thing that I didnt like
We had the majority of the people at our wedding stay here, mostly from Buffalo and Rome New York and we drove in from Florida so pretty much everyone is from out of town. Natalie and Cell‘s was great to work with months ago and then The girl at the front desk with dark skin and beautiful blue eyes think her name started with a C. That description is from my wife LOL, somethings went wrong but they went out of their way to make up for it! The location is nice for before and after party also, with a couple pub/restaurant in the same parking lot. Nice hot breakfast each morning and the good pool lounge area that we did not use but hopefully some of our guest did. We recommend this place!
I will Never stay here again! The manager was rude! They charged my card without permission over confetti on NYE! TOLD ME WHO EVER STAYED IN THE ROOM COULD NEVER COME BACK( IT WAS 4 KIDS AND MYSELF) OVER ONE CONFETTI POP THAT COULD BE VACUUMED! The lady was so unprofessional! Then someone wants to respond months later!! I go next door next time
Weve been coming to this location in Greece for 5 years for the Lilac Tournament and the service has always been excellent. This years they took quality customer care to another level when we accidentally booked at another location and the 3rd party booking service wouldnt switch us without a nasty cancellation fee. The General Manager Camille and her superlative staff Bethany and Aaron worked tirelessly to get the situation resolved so we come stay at the hotel with the rest of our team. That level of service not only ensures that well be back for years to come but that we consider other Hampton properties first for our business and recreational stays. Thanks so much for taking such great care of us!!! With that stress off my mind I was able to concentrate on bowling one of my best sets ever at Lilac.
A bit disappointed in this stay. The room was not bad... The usual Hilton positive experience. However, when we tried to use the sofa bed, the sheets and blanket was filled with body hair. We waited over 2 hours for anyone to come change them after I called. Also, I was the one who asked a random employee to clean the sofa bed. Disappointed.
Everything was great except for the tiny pool and breakfast...Not enough selections and they kept running out of waffle mix which was a big hit.... Also breakfast staff was unfriendly... A bonus: We got two connecting rooms and it was nice to have a door in between..
The room was ok except forA tuxedo stud from a prior occupant was lying on the carpet( no vacuuming)The wall mounted HVAC controls did not workThere was a dirt ring around the bathtubThe employee at check in was surlyWe booked a block of 20 rooms for a wedding and not 1 room was next to the other. We were spread throughout the 4 floors. Not convenient. The guests at the Marriott across the road had it much better.
I stayed a hole weekend with my family and kids and we got two rooms I spend almost $500 and one room was great checking in... The other room my beds wasnt changed in the bed had a sock in it and hair. The lamp was broken and I took pictures but it wont let me post them wish I can swear to God.....I was so mad they gave me one free night and came in changed the sheets infront of us and said there so sorry about that this never happen before.....like do yall change the sheets even when the housekeeper have alot of rooms....dont think me and my family coming back....such a beautiful hotel to have nasty employees.
My husband and I came to see Sebastian Manascalco at the RBTL. We had a wonderful stay at Hampton Inn Rochester-Greece. From the moment we checked in until we checked out the entire staff were so very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The pillows were soft, but that is a personal preference. However, I slept like a baby. The breakfast was very very good and there were plenty of options. Thanks Hampton for a great stay. We will be back!!!
Extremely friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and good location. Staff has been wonderful and extremely helpful with any requests. Snacks and drinks provided each evening. Many food and shopping options in the area. Fairly close to downtown Rochester as well. Only complaint I have is very slow premium WiFi.
Simple aka “No Frills” but very comfortable. Affordable , nice staff & just enough “extras” to recommend this location to my friends & family. When you’re just in need of the basics, nothing fancy or pricey, I’d definitely point you to the nearest Hampton Inn. You can be a WHOLE LOT more comfortable with this option, versus a Comfort Inn or Motel 6. Oh, the coffee is pretty good & the breakfast spread is worth waking up a little early for.
I used my HHhonors account to book the room. I believe I overpaid by $40. Because it was showing for $40 less on Expedia after I booked. We got in late and had to call down twice for extra pillows. In the morning there was only one breakfast attendant who was overwhelmed with guests. There was no regular coffee, the trash was overflowing (all of them except the one in the breakfast area), and most of the tables were dirty. I only stay at Hampton Inns so Ive seen many. This was not my best experience.
The worst experience ever, staff got no clue about hospitality even the manager came out to us with her training suit!! Talking rude and no manners.I had to stay there since I made a non refundable booking otherwise I would have canceled my reservation.Never again at this miserable hotel
Horrible weekend, kids hockey team took over hotel drinking in lobby (illegal?) Parents actually got upset when they said they shudnt be playing hockey in halls and runimg all over. Poor girls at front desk were abused by parents and coach saying they shud be glad they were there and they cant tell their kids what to do. The saturday night they finally called police at 115 am to dispurse parents, Never again!

2022-05-15Room was nice, clean and fresh. The temperature and humidity were so comfortable for a good night sleep. Four different firmness of pillows on each bed for your choice. Bed sheet was clean and comfort. The hotel was safe. Breakfast had few hot meals, toaster, self-assistant waffle maker and varieties of good juices in addition to other continental breakfast items. Hampton Inn under Hilton management has been improved a lot especially the good control of temperature and humidity.

2022-02-22Most of the staff was friendly. Immediately upon checking in I asked for a refund & was gonna go to another place & was told I would have to speak to someone the next day! The room not only was run down, but was filthy! Sheets were not changed, there was something stuck to head board, hair in the tub, behind the microwave was trash on the floor, the ice holder for the room was filthy and the lid was worse, among other things! They do not have a Jacuzzi as advertised! They gave me a new room and points, which will never be used as I will not stay here again! I wanted a refund as it was the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. I had do not disturb sign on my door and had someone knocking at my door asking when I was leaving, it wasnt even check out time! I was getting off the elevator & someones dog about knocked me over as they werent paying attention. My family day was completely ruined & I couldve had a better experience elsewhere for half the price! The pictures they have posted do not reflect what the rooms look like and the smell inside the rooms is horrible!

2022-02-06The hotel is pretty beat and outdated. When we got our room the whole floor smelled liked weed and there was loud party going in one of the rooms. This was past midnight. The front desk gave us a new room, but it seemed like they were aware of partying going in and never bothered to do anything about it. They even said another floor might be even more louder because we are expecting to be full. Not something you want to hear from staff past midnight. Stayed at lot of Hampton Inns in the past and would not recommend this one.

2022-06-06Set back behind another chain hotel it is less traversed and more quiet. There is a nice walking path connected to the parking lot. It is conveniently close to the mall and plenty of food chains. Breakfast is included.

2022-02-24The rooms are filthy, they dont clean in-between guests, they steal property and lie and say they dont have it. All hotels have a policy for items let in the room. The girl working yesterday was the rudest most ignorant person Ive ever encountered at a business, she lied chronically about the items left in my room I tried to get back and about the guest in the room checking out. She shouldnt have a job in customer service and I have filed with cooperate, the BBB as well as the health dept for this dirty establishment and the way they attempt to run a business! I wouldve never guessed she was an employee of Hampton sitting behind a desk with the way she spoke to me and I have a video of it all, not only her rudeness but also how much she cursed and swore at me. I was polite UNTIL she got rude and disrespectful to me! Anyone know anything about the infamous Cadillac Hotel in Rochester NY well this place by far has them beat!

2022-04-20Positive: Location. Breakfast - - - including the wonderful person who oversaw it. Negative: Pool was closed without notice. There was a dog fee when the hotel was advertised as not having one. Our room was not cleaned. The front desk staff was rather rude.

2022-05-15I called hotels from Syracuse to Buffalo to Rochester to come up and visit my sister in law from 5 hours away. This was the only hotel that not only had availability but wasn’t like 600 a night the prices were all rediculous. I made it very clear that I had cash only to pay the employee said “yes that’s okay your card is just to hold the room” I said perfect drove the 5 hours got here at ten for the clerk to tell me they don’t take cash. I asked to speak to the manager and explained my situation it’s late no where to stay. She was extremely rude and dismissive.I ended up going to Walmart and getting a prepaid card too see if it’ll work.I also paid 303$ for one night with a king bed that has a total of 3 pillows , it’s smelly in here and not cleanEd great. The AC unit is loud clunking and kept us up all night as it goes off and on.I will never stay at this location again. Whoever made my reservation needs to be fired. You really messed up.

2022-05-02Everyone seems to say the room is filthy. But I do not mind the filth at all. Its less filthier than my home. I wonder what their homes look like? Unless you can lick your toilet seat clean, do not speak about filth. Ugh. I like this place despite everything. We are afterall just vermins.

2022-02-24I will NEVER stay at this hotel again or any hampton inn again for that matter. I have never been so dissatisfied with a hotel in my life. It is absolutely unprofessional how this hotel is ran. I travel all the time and know how hotel customer service is supposed to be! Im so disturbed with the service here! UNBELIEVABLE! Upon staying here the room was so dirty! Walls had dirt all over them, chair was so outdated, broken and full of stains and dirt! The sheets were clearly not changed to fresh ones they were literally turned over inside out which I do not understand. If youre going to do all of that, why not just change the sheets? The fridge had junk all behind it from previous people, handprints all over the window, I could literally go on. When calling the front desk and giving complaints and specifically asked for someone to come see everything and could we get a refund and go home she stated she would have to let the supervisor know tomorrow and that a refund wasnt 100 percent possible so we asked could we at least get a different clean room and she said she needed to see if one was available. Eventually she found one a floor higher up. We went to that one which was much cleaner but still had some issues as well. Fastforward to today my mom and I both have been calling all day to get mine and my sons jackets returned to us and nobody will go and check the room to get our winter jackets! I know for a fact both mine and my sons expensive north face jackets are in that room closet but nobody seems to care about helping. Took my number and stated they will let me know. That was 9am this morning it is now 7pm. I been calling all day and all she can say is when they check they will let me know! It went from when the person in the room checks out they will let me know to now this person hasnt even left. I do not think anyone is occupying this room and Im being treated horribly. Even if someone is in this room how hard is it to just respectfully ask the gentleman to return the the 2 jackets to the front desk? So discusted! These photos do not even give justice to how bad it was! The smell was just awful! I will be calling cooperate tomorrow morning! UPDATE: THE STAFF STOLE MY JACKETS! Be careful with your belongings here. They will come up missing!
