I just got a massage from the wonderful Breno! Breno was honestly amazing! He listened to me with everything from pressure and my pain. I have been dealing with hip pain for months and he worked out the pain. He was so professional and gentle. This whole experience was amazing. From the environment, massage and front desk was FABULOUS! 10/10 would recommend 🙌🏼

This was my first time at Hand & Stone. I received a massage and a facial. Both of my sessions were very relaxing. Each lady took very good care of me. They were not pushy for me to buy any upgrades which was nice. I wish I could have stayed longer. I felt great when I left. I will be going back very soon.
On 9/24 I received a phone call from the front desk girl (Babylon) at 1:34 asking where I was for an appointment at 1:15. I told her my appointment was for 2:30 not 1:15. I told her I never even got a text message or call confirming this. So I just assumed everything was fine.Then she started telling me that I would still have to pay for the visit. At this point I asked to be put on with the manager. Corinne(the manager) was extremely rude and insulting and did not help me at all nor did she show concern for what had happened. She was more concerned about her masseuse losing his time slot more than trying to resolve my issue and try to accommodate me. She told me someone had called the day before to confirm, which was not true bc I did not speak to anyone nor did I confirm in any way bc I did not receive a confirmation text or phone call. Her tone and relentless attitude towards me was not only unprofessional but inappropriate. She made it seem that I missed my appointment intentionally and that I had a bad track record on top of it. She started to bring up how Ive had other problems in the past and how Im late to appointments. This is how you train your staff and managers to talk to regular good paying customers?! I was beyond appalled!! I have never missed an appointment or just not showed up! I have cancelled in the past with plenty of notice and would always reschedule, which was the case in this situation. I said yes Ive had problems with the front desk not being clear many times and had a couple incidents where the masseuse would offer add ons and say they would take care of it then I would get charged later for it. I would always ask if I had enough points ok, otherwise no thank you. I have had a lot of patience with this location (Babylon) b/c I enjoyed the massages but the way I was treated was completely inappropriate and uncalled for. I told Corinne out of disgust that I did not want to argue with her anymore and that I wanted to cancel my membership right away. I refused to entertain our conversation any longer and told her I will not be paying for a visit I never received. I have been going to this location for over 3 years and to be honest it was 3 years too long!! I should have cancelled my membership a long time ago. I will never go to another Hand and Stone again. I am completely disgusted.
I was really dissapointed with my experience. I haven’t went since 2017, and the massage was horrible. I felt like it was someone rubbing lotion on me. I couldn’t wait for it to end. She put a cold towel around my neck and I was freezing the whole time . The facial was just okay. I was told I would get the introductory pricing when I called so I booked both. After the services they charged me full price. I questioned them saying the women offered me the special on the phone and she said no I’m sorry. I said excuse me? She was making faces I actually put my product back and decided to purchase elsewhere. The location is kept nice . The bathroom was dirty .. I was turned off the whole experience.
I ordered gift cards for my wife at the holiday. They mailed the cards and a gift box. We went to redeem them and I was told they were never paid for and I would have to find the debit in my account. I had closed that account some time ago. They told me their employee screwed up, but now it is my problem. This is a horrible way to do business in a local community and I hope they leave this town and let a local company open up, who cares about their customers.
It was so great to get my first massage after quarantine! The staff has definitely made adjustments due to COVID-19 and you can tell they’re doing everything they can to make everybody feel comfortable and safe. I have had many different massage therapist from there and I have always found them to be professional and caring.
I love Hand & Stone of Babylon. I am a member for almost 4 years and every time I have a service, whether it is a facial or a massage, it is always amazing!!!! Everyone is very friendly and professional and the spa is always clean!! I highly recommend you giving it a try if you have not been there yet!!!! Vanessa is the best, I had an AMAZING 1 hour massage last night~~~
Hand and Stone is a great spa! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is very calming. The desk staff is friendly and helpful. Calvin, my massage therapist was amazing. I’ve been to many high end spas for treatments but Calvin’s massage was the best I ever had.I have already scheduled my next appointment with him.The spa is very clean and offers some fantastic products. All without the staff being pushy.I’d highly recommended Hand and Stone!!
Got a facial with Katherine C, she did a amazing job! Very clean and relaxing setting, She was professional and explained every step of the way, educated me on aftercare and suggested best practices for my skin type. I will definitely be rebooking with her, felt amazing after. Also the Receptionist was very friendly and very helpful.
I was given a gift certificate for a prenatal massage for my birthday. i went to the spa and received my massage. in the beginning, the therapist asked me if i wanted Lavender, she said it very casually that i would enjoy it and she recommended it and with no added comment that it was an additional expense. so i said yes. after my massage when i was leaving i was asked to pay an additional $20 for the lavender which was a surprise to me because not once did the masseuse mention this was an additional service. i understand you train them to upsell products but i think its rude and sneaky to not mention the additional cost to clientele when offering an add on service.Had i known it was an additional $20 i would not have moved forward, it could have been $5 it was the point that it was snuck in like that. this was after I gave my gratuity also. i did not have enough money on me to pay- she did apply a coupon to bring the price down, but anyway-it just put a bad taste in my mouth to not come here again.
I found the whole experience at Hand & Stone to be very pleasant. Calvin, my massage theripist asked a few questions to assess how he would go about my massage and followed through. It was so relaxing and felt incredible. The place is clean and inviting and I will be booking again soon
I went for a massage back in June with one of my friends for a couples massage. I really enjoyed my massage and she enjoyed her massage as well. The therapist that I had was named Antonio and my friend had Calvin. There both really good. We both really enjoyed our massages. The staff that works there is very nice and welcoming. I look forward to going back for another massage
The massage was good but a serious lack of, and incorrect communication on their end ruined the experience. I ended up speaking to the district manager. She seemed more concerned with making sure the therapist received a gratuity (which I had already assured the staff she would multiple times a day earlier) than rectifying the issue and making the customer happy.
Front desk staff is extremely professional and knowledgeable. There was a scheduling issue that was quickly remedied by them, as well as Penny, my massage therapist. Penny was truly exceptional and provided me with a very positive, relaxing experience. Everyone made sure I was pampered to the fullest. I look forward to coming back soon!
My first time at this location and I was beyond pleased with my experience. I’ve been to multiple locations and have been going to Hand and Stone for years as a member of theirs and this location will be the one I visit for here on in. I went today for a massage and a facial. I’ve had hundreds of massages but I’ve never had one like I did today. Antonio was amazing. More than five stars in my book. My facial was relaxing, gratifying and exceptionally professional. My skin felt like silk when I left. Heather is the best esthetician I’ve ever come across. Will be going back and will be seeing both of them again!!! Thanks guys for an amazing day.
One of the BEST massages I have ever had! I feel like no masseuse ever focuses on my knots but I walked out of the massage feeling amazing. My ONLY complaint was that we started 10 minutes late and ended 5 minutes early.
I had a positive and negative experience. This is my first visit to Hand and Stone and my last. The lady up front was very nice. The masseuse seemed very nice. I was having a 60 minute massage and an add on 15 minute peppermint scalp massage.I was there early. She began my appointment at 9:06pm as per the clock in the room. During the massage she turned the clock sideways so I could not see the time. I always make sure of the time so I can make sure I am getting my whole hour or hour and fifteen minutes as the case may be. Well she stopped and said how do you feel. I have to say the massage was nice until I realized I was ripped off. She ended the massage at 9:56, only 50 minutes, not the 75 minutes it was susposed to be. I guess because I was the last appointment and I had a free 60 minute massage and opted for an add on that was another $15, she wanted to get out of there so why not rip the client off. This is equivalent to stealing from me. Absolutely unacceptable, unprofessional and reflects negatively on your business. Shame on you!! This is why I as well as everyone I know will not be returning to Hand and Stone in at 124 East Main Street in Babylon. I will be contacting the manager tomorrow to ask why this happened and is it their normal business practice or not. Very Disappointing!!

The most amazing and relaxing experience. I have never been to a spa before and they made me feel so welcome and understand what I was going to experience while I was there. Told me everything that was going on with my skin and how it can be improved and provided services and products to help. I wish I could go everyday. Highly recommend to anyone
Whether I go to Babylon or Huntington the experience is the same, absolutely wonderful! From the moment you walk in the door to be greeted by the outstanding reception staff you feel immediately relaxed. My massage with Penni was outstanding as usual ! Can’t wait to go back.
From start to finish, my experience at Hand & Stone was relaxing and extremely enjoyable. My massage therapist expertly tended to any muscles that needed extra care and made me feel comfortable right away. The entire staff was extremely inviting and wonderful to work with. I will definitely return in the near future to try out more services.
I was debating joining the monthly club as I usually get facials elsewhere. I really would have like a hand moisturizing and massage which is complimentary where I go. I also though the steam time was to long and my face broke out and it all red on my nose the day after. Will have to re-think this. The specialist was very professional and courteous.
I had my first massage and loved it. Claudine was very nice and attentive, she made sure to ask if the pressure was good and if I was comfortable. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep. I just became a member so while I would recommend Claudine, I will be trying the other massage therepists.

This place is by far my favorite Spa.. Ive been coming here for at least a year now and have been with Cathy (Masseuse) & Nicole (Aesthetician) ever since. They always have me walking out feeling like a brand new person, i dont even want to leave. I highly recommend this place and Im sure you wont be disappointed.
For the most part they provide excellent service. The receptionists and the masseuse are always very friendly. However, the quality of massages can vary from masseuse to masseuse. For instance, I got a deep tissue massage yesterday from one masseuse, which costs extra, but have had normal massages from other masseuse that went harder than this deep tissue massage. There should be more of a standard.
I went for a facial yesterday , the place is so clean and the women behind the counter were so kind. My facial was done by Katherine, she was so knowledgeable and so gentle. My skin looks amazing, I cannot wait to go back for another treatment.
There was some miscommunication in house with regard to the services I was supposed to receive and I wound up not getting one of them done. But other than that, the massage was great.

I am already a member at the Melville location. I made my 1PM appointment 2 wks in advance due to promotional pricing. I arrived early as requested, was not taken into a room until 1:20. Facial was good, not to pushy with sales which I really liked but did go over my face and things that would benefit my oily skin type. I was told Spa week gift cards were taken when I booked. When it was time to pay they did not accept the gift card and charged a different amount then the advertised promotional amount. Bernadette had to take the time to figure out how to refund the difference mean while continuing to take phone calls and making me wait. So for a 50 min service I was at the location for 2 hours. Lastly parking is not the easiest in this location. I will be sticking with the Melville location. Melville has wonderful customer service, excellent services and I have never waited when I had a prebooked appointment.
I had a WONDERFUL experience at Hand & Stones new spa in Babylon Village. From the very moment I walked in I felt welcomed and at ease by the very knowledgable staff. The space itself is beautiful and relaxing, and it may sound weird to say- but had a lovely calming scent as well. I received an awesome massage where the masseuse really made me feel totally comfortable (Taj was his name). I hope to be back for a facial ASAP!
Penny was my massage therapist and she was wonderful!!!! This was given to me as christmas present and will definitely be going back! Penny made me so comfortable! Most relaxing experience!
I visited the Babylon location for a massage and facial. I upgraded to a treatment similar to a microdermabrasion. I’ve had several microdermabrasion treatments in the past. My face looked great, but when I got home I noticed I had several “stripes” on my neck from the treatment. I called the next day and sent them pictures. They did offer to perform a treatment to help heal the bruising.

Hour before my appointment they told me they had a scheduling problem and they need to change date and time of my massage? I had back pain for 3 days. I was there before and service was great but this time your company just posed me off. Not coming back.
Had a great experience. Therapist was knowledgeable and on point with my specific aches and pains. They did not spell my name correctly which is minor, but I question there real concern about you as an individual . Seems simple to get a name correct......
I had a 50 minute massage with a peppermint scalp massage add on, and it was exactly what I needed. So relaxing and eased every bit of tension. I have enjoyed my time with Hand & Stone, and I cant wait to go back.

I had a membership at this location and throughout covid when they shut down for 5 months they were happy to take my $ without providing the service only to tell me at my last appointment that those payments expired and I now had to pay for my service...absolute crooks ..manager was a coward heard this at her counter and chose to hide in her office ...absolute crooks ...bad policy ,bad practice ...they have lost my familys business and I would recommend not joining there shady membership service ...

2022-01-11My First visit was absolutely splendid!!! The ladies at the front desk were kind and courteous. The spa is very clean and beautiful with a wonderful ambiance. My massage therapist was Valerie and she was wonderful. She gave a very relaxing and firm general massage and asked if there were any areas that needed special attention. I let her know that I had sciatica and pain in my lower back and left glute. She massaged the area and balanced it by doing both sides. When I tell you that after having pain for months and months and not even being able to sit down in my chair at work comfortably throughout the day and that after the massage the pain was gone.....The joy and relief that I have is priceless. Best decision I made was to visit Hand and Stone. I will definitely go back. I even signed up for the package. I was extremely pleased and satisfied. Who knew a massage would be life-changing?! .

2022-07-02Waste of money. It’s 50 mins total, including time it takes to fill out their paperwork and change. So you’re really only getting a 40 min massage, but you’re paying for an hour one. Then I paid an extra $15 for a scalp massage so I thought it would be added time but it’s not. They incorporate it into your body massage. Online is totally misleading. They also only show “introductory” prices online. It’s all a ripoff. Never going here again.

2022-07-28Truly enjoyed my facial experience at Hand and Stone in Babylon, The front staff was very knowledgeable and professional. My esthetician was also very helpful and had my face feeling brand new after. I did purchase the add on during my facial but it was not pushed on me. I will be returning :)

2022-04-18Very upset with whoever answered the phone. (Deaja) I was asking for a different time because I try to accommodate Jennifer’s new time availability. I love Jennifer but, I already have an engagement that cannot be changed (I just found out I couldn’t change that). I understand policy terms, but I have had other reps that are more accommodating and helpful. And to hear that this rep is telling me she is doing me a favor? I’m not sure how you expect to keep customers if that’s how you speak to customers. I pay monthly never had an issue and it’s annoying to deal with someone like that. Although Deaja has called me back to tell me she won’t charge me, the back and forth is not something I associate this high end experience that Jennifer and the rest of the team of Hand and Stone Spa has given/shown me.

2022-04-21I booked 2 massages and a facial for my grandmother, sister and I 6 weeks ago for my grandmothers birthday and bc my sisters in town. A while girls day planned. My grandmother got a phone call saying they had to cancel her appointment bc the girl doing her facial was sick. I asked if they could get anyone else, switch appointments around, get us in at a different time or location and I got a nasty response and they really didn’t care. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all!

2022-01-07I havent gone to this place but my wife handed me a flyer that came in the mail. Well of course I knew what she wanted. Kind of the perfect gift. No driving to the store, no checking out stuff on Amazon and its what she wanted. Ok, got the message. I went on the website and it was nice how easy it was to purchase massages. I had them sent to her on Christmas Eve via email. She saw the email the next morning and I got the approval, then the kids started with unwrapping their presents. So I will have to keep you posted on when she goes but as of now the shopping experience online was excellent. I did do my reviews on Google and that was one of the reason also why I purchased massages for my wife.

2021-11-28I received a gift certificate for 2 massages. When I used the first one, they said, we put the credit for the next one in the computer. Cool. Then the pandemic happened and I didnt go for a while. Not sure if the gift certificate expired (I didnt see an end date on it) I called and they said it was still in their system. I booked an appointment. Before the appointment, I double checked and yup, still there. But when my massage was over, the receptionist explained that she couldnt apply the credit because they changed computer systems recently. After trying to explain to them the concept of credit and honoring their word, I just gave up and paid full price on my credit card. And just as I was thinking about going regularly... I wont be back. I was basically ripped off.

2021-03-15Honestly, I was disappointed in this particular location. I’ve been to a different Hand & Stone location and I’ve had no complaints, but the experience I had here was not what I was anticipating. My husband booked a reservation for me to have a prenatal massage to relieve some pains and stress, I had been looking forward to this appointment for weeks. Neither my husband nor myself were informed of having to come in 15 minutes prior to fill out paperwork. He received a call 5-10 minutes from the front desk, before my appointment to ask if we were still coming in and that we needed to be there earlier. I would’ve gladly showed up 15 minutes prior had we both been informed. My husband also had added upgrades for my 60 minute massage, that we were told they would go over with us the day of to explain them, but at my appointment not one person mentioned or helped or put any of the upgrades requested to use. No one even consulted me as I know is done at Hand & Stone locations, no one informed me about membership plans or any products. I felt as though my entire appointment was rushed and the communication was extremely poor. I had a 60- minute appointment booked and it was realistically only a 35-40 minute appointment. Which I think is absolutely ridiculous because this is advertised differently on the website. On top of, if filling out the paperwork would cut into my appointment, I should’ve been informed so I could reschedule and not lose out on time as none of these massages are free. That is not my problem, no one communicated a time to be in for a set appointment. People look forward to their massages and appointments, and this place completely disregards that and their customers. I wouldn’t recommend this location nor would I go back. Entirely disappointed.

2021-04-25Excellent experience at Hand & Stone today for a facial with Diane. She recommended an anti aging mask for an additional charge, but was not pushy for the up sell at all, and it felt amazing! Very comfortable and relaxing environment, very clean, and very friendly staff. Highly recommend.

2021-01-16What a wonderful experience I had! I wasnt sure if they would be open due to the COVID issues and was concerned about health protections, I spoke with them over the phone and felt welcomed to check at my leisure and they set up a late evening appointment (I was the only patron there!) Kim H, my esthetician was very knowledgeable in her craft and was super helpful and had a GREAT sense of humor! I wish I remembered the name of the gentleman at the front desk, he was wonderful as well!Kim understood what I was looking for and what I was willing to pay and was so helpful, I left feeling 20 years younger and not too much lighter in the wallet 😁
