It was amazing, the person who did my facial was really gentle and knew what she was doing. She also told me what my skin needed.
My first facial with Paulina was wonderful !! It was so relaxing and the massage felt amazing. Christine at the desk was also so sweet and helpful ! Highly recommended:)
I had a massage and facial scheduled just like the rest of the 3 black women in my party. My tech chatted the entire hour of the massage. I stopped talking in the middle and used um ah tones. She also assumed because I have faux locs I smoke week. On top of that stereotype, I was told to get dressesd to get undressed again for my facial. I was not relaxed and very annoyed. I still gave a tip. The massage was good mouth was not.
I had not been to Hand & Stone in quite some time. I was very happy about the protocol for the covid 19!!!! I felt very safe. I also had Hope do my massage. She was amazing. I have lower back issues and she knew just what my back needed. Also being gentle enough during my massage.(Because I asked her Too) I would definitely go back and highly recommend them!
Horrible service. I cancelled my membership because I always had trouble getting a straight answer regarding my packages (with the company as a whole). I was charged despite asking to speak with a manger due to their error. I was denied. I just filed a formal complaint with BBB and flagged the charge on my credit card. Beware of issues with membership if you join here!
Staff is friendly and professional. Beautiful new facility. My first visit for a 50 minute massage was excellent and my only complaint was it went by way too fast because it was so good. My massage therapist communicated with me throughout the massage to make sure I was comfortable with the pressure. Beds are heated which is always a nice treat. The monthly membership is a great way to treat yourself to either a massage or facial on a regular basis. Im so happy to be a member and its awesome to have them in Bellmore.
I have been a member of hand and stone for a couple of years now and have been to almost all the locations on Long Island. I came to Bellmore when they first opened, everyone at the front desk is super friendly. I had my first facial at this location with Amy and she is by far the best person I have ever had to do a facial on me. She is really helpful with analyzing your skin and recommending products that will help your skin look amazing. She is the only person I will let touch my face time. Totally recommend her!!
I received the BEST massage of my life last night. I was desperate for one, and booked an appointment on a whim. I had never been there before, and didnt know what to expect. Heidi was so professional, had the most calming voice, and the best hands!! I felt so relaxed with her. The tension headache that I had for a week is gone!! I loved it so much that I signed up for the Lifestyle program and cannot wait to go back! Thank you so much!
Woman at front desk is very pushy with trying to get me to sign back up for membership. Everybody who works there is very nice especially the massage therapist but to be honest for the price the massage $$$$ was super mediocre. She barely applied any pressure and told me she doesnt do deep tissue massages. Felt very relaxed afterwords but the massage itself was very weak. Very expensive and not really worth the $$$$. They offer zero deals for couples. Also the massage was super short! we were on time but it seemed to start late and end early. my wife and I waited in the massage room for like 5 minutes before they finally came back to ask if we were ready. meh!!!
Absolute heaven! Best way to describe my experience at Hand and Stone in Bellmore. Everyone is so friendly! I was very pleased and felt completely safe with the protocols they had in place for covid 19. On top of that, my massage therapist Savitri was amazing! I would recommend her any day to anyone! She is just great! It is about time we start relaxing and this is the place to do it!
Avoid the subscription. They do not honor the credit you have (even only three months after you cancel) and go back for a massage or facial.The manager said she will solve the problem. Very much appreciated.
I have been a member of hand and stone in Bellmore since it opened. During that time I have experienced a CONSISTENTLY high level of quality and professionalism. Each therapist for each type of procedure is knowledgeable and well versed in that procedure. I’m particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the facilities and the creation of a soothing atmosphere. Truly a place where one can relax as the massage therapist (my favorite is Erin though all are good) removes all your aches pains and tensions
I went there for a gift card. Place was very clean n took covid protocol very serious. Massage was ok. Thought it was weird she used a massage gun for a little while. I have that at home n use on full power. Would I go back yes I like to try thing twice before cutting it off.
This place blows mh mind each time i come in. They are clean, respectful and the staff is delightful. the therapists range all over and can give you exactly what you need this is my new home spa, and the handful of therapists i use have now learned what i like and keep building the perfect massage for me. Always be vocal with your therapist abou what you like and dont like, the pressure etc as it happens ...otherwise youre paying for something your not enjoying !
My facial was supposed to be one hour and was only 50 minutes. The masseuse fixed her room clock 10 minutes ahead. Also service was more about a lot of creams and not a lot of massage. Lots of wasted time. Stay away.
I have been to the bellmore location twice. I freelance interior design for hospitality venues so tend to be a bit critical in regards to acoustic quality and ambience. This location nailed it with a relaxing waterfall in the entrance and high quality audio playing relaxing spa music through out the establishment.I was genuinely shocked at the affordability of their membership program. I expected only to go once but decided to sign up for their monthly billing option.The message I got was perfect. Professional staff and I would also recommend the hot stones!
Have been here for a hot stone massage and facial (not at same time). Staff have all been great. Erin checked in with me throughout the massage to make sure I was comfortable and Riccy explained every step of the facial! After my facial she also gave me some tips on what types of products would be good for my skin. Treat yourself!
Hope at Hand & Stone in Bellmore was nothing less than AMAZING!! I walked in feeling so sore and stiff from working out and after her amazing massage I felt like a new woman! Thanks so much Hope!!
Well i came in and was greeted very nicely and introduced to the therapist i clearly knew i was late etc i had called them to let them know i was late but no response but it’s understandable. The room where you’re being taken into is very peaceful no complaints about that. The therapist asked at the beginning if i wanted to upgrade my session without doubt i did upgrade my session to an additional $15 for a foot massage. I didn’t know i was not going to get any back massage done AT ALL !! I was not told that i wouldn’t be able to get it done due to my lateness ... but apparently $80 for a foot massage was not WORTH IT AT ALL .
I was looking to do a couples massage close to home and I went online and came across this place, which was a great find! Not only was the staff friendly and curtious, but they even gave us an upgrade for asking us to change our appointment time if possible. The couples massage we did with hot stones felt amazing and it was so relaxing. I had Byron and my husband had Heidi who were FANTASTIC! For the first time, Im not feeling very sore after getting it done, rather I feel less stressed and I would totally reccommend this place and go again!
I have gone to the Bellmore location many times, but this last time was the best Ive ever had! Santos gave a deep tissue massage that left me feeling weightless! He is AMAZING. He only works Fridays and Saturdays so I guess Im going on Fridays or Saturdays from now on!
Move over, Red Door, you got serious competition!!! I went to Hand and Stone when it opened. The spa emits an atmosphere of serenity as soon as you pass through the doors. I felt myself relaxing immediately. The decor is light and airy . The therapist (Erin) gave me the BEST hot stone massage I ever had! Everyone from the receptionist to therapists were professional and attentive to all my concerns. Will definitely go again and recommend anyone who does to join the club!
Had a great experience yesterday. I had a facial with Jerry and it was amazing. She made me feel relaxed and my face felt wonderful afterward. I would definitely ask for her again.
For two years I have been receiving facials at Bellemore Hand and Stone. The salon is very intimate and cozy. Upon entering the reception area I am greeted by the professional, friendly staff. A beverage is served and I can browse the products. As I am receiving my facial, music calms me. I am guided with a step by step explanation of the services I am receiving. I marvel at the knowledge and competency of my Massage Therapist. Upon completion of my facial I am glowing without makeup.
I’ve been going here for awhile now, Santos is definitely my go to person! He even has that relaxing angelic voice , definitely would recommend him. I’ve tried other men but it’s just not the same.

THE WORST MASSAGE IVE EVER HAD 😲 Saturday, June 29thThis was the first time I went to Hand and Stone Spa. As someone who travels and get regular massages I have to tell the public how disappointed I was!First they started late, finished early and in between there was a power failure. The woman giving me my massage was inexperienced and acted like she was bored. She frequently sat and lean on the edge of the massage table using 1 hand to massage me?When we started she did ask if there were any areas that needed attention, she ignore those areas completely. She also asked if there were any area she should avoid, I replied YES my ankle, well it seemed she purposely squeezed that area...Lastly when I was leaving the supervisor asked me how I liked my massage, I explained to the her everything you just read, she ignored my comments gave me my $.05 change and walked away....Not a SORRY or Nothing, so I walked out.I do NOT recommend these people for a massage and most certainly I will never use there services again...
I had a massage with Byron this week and he was wonderful-probably one of the best massages Ive ever had. He listened to what i had to say and asked me if i was okay with the pressure, etc...more than once. He was great. The staff were very nice as well. Would definetly go back again.
I made a last minute appointment and have to say it was one of the best experiences I have had. The professionalize and friendliness of this place was amazing. From my first contact on the phone when I made the appointment , to being greeted when I walked in, and the massage therapist. So wonderful, I made another appointment before I left to return.
While the services received at this spa were fine, the issue is about canceling membership. In March I signed papers, given to me by the manager at the Bellmore location to cancel my membership. I am moving so this spa will not be convenient for me to get to anymore. I was assured no more charges would go onto my card. Well, this morning not only do I have a charge on my account for monthly spa membership, but when I called the location I am told they cant access my account to verify and I need to speak with a manager who will call me around 11 AM. My account should have been coded the day I signed the papers so that this situation does not occur. Very unhappy with customer service here, front desk.
The massage was wonderful. However, they have an invalid contact number which prevented me from confirming the location. This in turn made me late and I found the front desk representative to be unapologetic about the inconvenience that was imposed by them.
My friend and I went to the Hand and Stone in Bellmore for facials. Since we had never been here before we wanted the basic facial without any extras.My 60 minute facial was done by Corina. I can not say enough positive things about experience and her expertise. I loved every minute of it and wanted more!

I truly hate to write a bad review but my experience with Hand and Stone in Bellmore warrants it. I unfortunately had to cancel a 9am appointment right before given my infant daughter woke up sick. I had canceled before a few other times, but with enough lead time. It’s not the easiest thing to get out of one’s house with an infant and working full time. I had provided a credit card with my original appointment. At no time with the other appointments was I told that if I canceled same day I would be charged half for services. Upon trying to reschedule my recent appointment I was told I would be charged half of both services, even though one was a gift certificate. I was told that it was corporate policy and it could not be over ridden in the computer. I completely understand that my cancellation inconvenience an employee but I was willing to reschedule at any time else soon there after. I do not remember at any point being told of such an explicit cancellation policty. I am now being charged $70 even though one of the services was paid. I don’t even want to use my gift certificate at this point but will only do so in the future as it’s a gift from my husband. Terribly disappointing.
I had a wonderful experience here on 3/6/21. Everyone here was very helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for good0 facial. I would definitely be coming back!Ps. The staff here is awesome!
It was a pleasure going to Head and Stone in Bellmore. The staff are excellent making you feel like family and Amy was superb in helping me to relax. Time flies and the drive home is hard since you are so relaxed when leaving the complex.

I have been a member at Hand and Stone for 2 years I have never had an issue booking an appointment with out a credit card and I have never canceled an appointment without a minimum of 48 hour notice. I have a package available and the spa would not let me book an appointment without a credit card. I did not have a credit card available when I was trying to book the appointment because I have never been asked for one at any other locations. I have been to Huntington, Port Washington, Commack, Jericho, a location in Florida and never had an issue. Also I have booked appointments in Levittown, Rockville Centere, and other locations and canceled within an appropriate time that did not effect their business. I felt the spa associate who answered my call should have been more accommodating, perhaps offer to hold the appointment for an hour and by then I would have been home to call back and give my credit card information, but it seems that at the Bellmore location they do not understand the definition of good customer service and going above in beyond for your customers. Unfortunately they have lost my business and I will go to another location. As well as them losing my friends and family’s business.
I always have a great massage and facial at Hand and Stone. Every single person there is fabulous. You get what you need most! I highly recommend it.
Santos did an amazing job! I was having severe back pain and by him taking the time to knead/massage all my knots, I’ve been relieved. Now I don’t wake up with pain in my low back! Recommend highly!

Terrible experience for the second time. Arrived early for my 7 pm appointment and there’s no parking. Kashie restaurant takes all the spots. It’s pouring rain and Hand and Stone does nothing to help, other than take this waiting time from my appointment. I would strongly recommend going elsewhere where you the business has parking for their customers. Second awful, awful, awful experience with Hand and Stone.
Made a very last min appointment to try Hand and Stone in Bellmore for the first time since I had been dealing with a chronic hip/lower back pain that really was debilitating me. Seeking relief, I made the appt and was SO happy I did. Heidi addressed my concerns regarding my pain, she was incredibly knowledgeable and intuitive to the areas that were in pain. She gave me an almost immediate assessment of what areas were misaligned and proceeded to work on releasing the tightness in those areas. I felt for the first time in months, a sense of space being created around my joints, that let me feel as though things were back in place. I left feeling hopeful, and without the initial pain I entered with. Do yourself a favor and see a licensed massage therapist such as Heidi and take control over your chronic pain!!
I had Heidi for a hot stone massage.Came in with neck pain and left with none. She listened to what I needed and followed it perfectly. Had no pain from any of her maneuvers. I have FIBROMYALGIA and usually massages can cause me pain. Would ask for her again.
Sweet, well trained and capable staff - and that’s before you get to the massage therapists who are highly effective at reducing aches and pains, and setting the body on the path to homeostasis.
Angels landed here is all i can tell you. If you are stressed out and need a ME - TIME, this is the place to go. The front desk always are cheerful and the crew behind the magic doors treat you like family. I love this place.

This is by far the worst massage place I have ever been to. The booking process is disorganized and difficult. It’s poorly run and the staff doesn’t care. The massage was just okay. Won’t be returning.

2022-02-25A few weeks ago I went for a facial with Amy. Amy is great! She is friendly and gives a great facial. I was leaving and I left my sample cream in the facial room. I asked if someone can get it for me, but the lady at the front desk told me very curtly that I could not get it and another client was in the room. I would have liked to be treated better. I called and cancelled my membership. I will miss Amy. I will go back to another location to use my massage gift certificate.

2022-01-04I’ve been going to Clarinsin Bloomingdale’s at Roosevelt Field for my facials for years. I got a gift card to hand and Stone. I called and made an appointment and they gave me “K”. The facial was less than 50 minutes. It does say on the website that the 50 minutes includes the consultation. I felt that my face wasn’t massaged enough. When a mask or anything that need to be put on for a few minutes there was no massaging of arms or hands I could just hear “K”rustling in the background and imagined that she was on her phone. She didn’t offer to show me my face when she was done she was all about getting me in and out. Again shame since I usually have a facial every six weeks and I am a generous tipper. I didn’t feel valued as a client. Place was clean.

2021-12-13Been going since the very beginning and been using the same masseuses for a while. The person on the phone couldnt be bothered with trying to get me an appointment with my preferred massage therapist and was beyond rude. In the meantime my card is being charged quicker than I can use the massage. There are several other establishments in the area and i think I am going to try them because every other time I try to make an appointment here they act like they are doing me a favor. As much as I love the person I go to - its not worth the negative energy I get at the desk. I spoke to Christine in case H&S is reading this.

2021-12-21My husband got a massage in March. The girl asked if he wanted to sign up for a monthly package. He said no. 3 months later they start charging his card monthly despite him saying no and never going back except that first time. We didn’t notice the charges at first. We finally notice and reach out, was told a manager will call him back and never did. Had to contact our bank. This was not a mistake. Someone deliberately signed him up months later hoping we wouldn’t notice. The manager says “it happens”. The front desk person says “yea that happens sometimes we put you as a membership without you asking but it’s up to you to check your bank account”. How many people are they doing this to? Probably a lot. Do not go here.They have the nerve to reply to this asking me to email when the manager already offered GIFT CARDS after acknowledging someone signed him up without his permission. The replies this business gives to reviews are just for show. I am making a complaint with the state for fraud.Edi: the bank issued back all the refunds and then got the money back from Hand And Stone. Hand and Stone would not refund on their own. Why? Because they did it on purpose and wanted to keep it that’s why.

2022-03-15I’ve been getting facials with Kayla and she is amazing! I have very sensitive skin with rosacea and she always takes the time to look at what my skin needs and educate me on the products she is using. Many products can be irritating to my skin but Kayla always knows which products will work best for my skin type. I’ve had both the dermalinfusion treatment and CBD facial that I would highly recommend for calming redness and treating hyperpigmentation. The facials are always relaxing and my skin feels amazing after! She also took the time to set up a skincare routine for me to follow and I have been seeing great results so far. Kayla is very knowledgeable, friendly, and great at what she does! I always enjoy my experience at hand and stone and I would definitely recommend booking a facial with her.

2022-05-10Terrible customer service. Waiting to speak to a manager for over a week over a mix up. Spoke to several people at this spa and at Levittown who realized it was the spas mistake, but then when tried to explain my situation (which I really didnt ask for this persons input) and that I have talked to other people at Bellmore and levittown (who listened to recordings of past conversations) she would not listen to what I was trying to say. I I was then told I was nasty (I did get angry-I;m not going to say Im innocent) , who do I think I am talking to like that and hung up on. I guess I will just never see my money...lesson learned. Dont support big business chains.

2021-11-16What is special about Hand and Stone is the staff. Starting from reception, the staff is friendly and welcoming. 2021-12-16Hand and stone in bellmore has saved my skin. For years I have struggled with my skin and been to so many dermatologist With no results until I was introduced to kayla who is an amazing employee at hand and stone. My skin texture has changed drastically and the products I was recommended are life changing. I signed up for the monthly membership and have no regrets. I get a facial once a month with the amazing Kayla, who is so extremely educated on all the products she is using and is filled with so much knowledge of the skin. She truly has an answer for everything u might be struggling with.I have also changed my whole skin routine to all the products they sell at hand and stone (clarity and dermalogica ). the front desk are such friendly people and the manager Heidi is very accommodating to the clients and seems to have such a great relationship with her employees. Overall I recommend everyone signing up for monthly facials and take a visit to hand and stone it truly is a great experience.
