My daughter had carpal tunnel. Dr. Karl Michalko found numerous reasons to do surgery. She had so many surgeries, it was ridiculous. A year and a half later he amputated her finger claiming it was infected. She went into surgery to have “hardware” taken out. The day before there was no infection. Very shady in my opinion.I went to him as well before all this claiming my thumb hurt( which it didn’t). He took ok an x-Ray and pointed out some rare thing wrong and told me I needed surgery and after the surgery, I would not be able to bend my thumb all the way. Of course I didn’t have the surgery. I told my daughter this doctor is surgery happy and just does it for the money. She had faith in him and trusted him. Don’t go to this Surgery Happy Doctor! I posted 2 pics( by accident an extra unrelated photo got post, no option to edit it out!)!

Dr. Ronchetti has performed surgery on my broken wrist/arm, my mothers broken wrist (after her original surgeon missed a post-op complication), and my daughters trigger thumb. Weve all had excellent outcomes. He does a great job of managing expectations and listening. The whole staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I would recommend this office and the associated surgery center next door to anyone.

Dr. Karl Michalko treated me for several years for issues with hands & forearms. Performed 4 surgeries, none of which really helped much and then told the workmans comp attorneys that he thought I may be faking it. Issues still arent resolved - have 4 lovely scars, and living with pain daily. Would never go to him again.

I was nervous because of the previous reviews but everyone was great at Hand Surgery Associates.Dr. Michalko was great. He is a doctor whose is honest and says things how they are. If you have questions he will answer them completely. The two nurses were great as I needed my cast changed multiple times (my fault). The two ladies in the front office were always helpful as was Dr. Michalko’s office assistant who was wonderful with my questions especially about my insurances. Thank you all so for your help and assistance. I appreciate it so much.

Dr. Was in a hurry. I had to tell him to look at my scan. He said there is nothing wrong with my hand. There is nothing for him to do surgery on. Almost a year later it is still swollen and painful. I can’t make a complete fist. Anyone found a good hand Dr?

After being referred to this place form Urgent Care i went in to have my thumb looked at. I spoke to the doctor for roughly a minute and a half, he then took two xray snapshots of my hand, and then told me he didnt know what was wrong and that a very pricey surgery would be required. And even though my grand total visit was less than two minutes, I was still charged 165 dollars. Incredibly over priced and not interested in helping their patients.

Dr. Ronchetti is a fabulous doctor. Down to earth, chill guy that is easy to talk to and knows what he is doing and takes his time with you. I had de Quervains release on my right side - it was important to me to be able to stay active and lift weight still. Its healed up great and feels great.

Dr. Ronchetti is an excellent doctor. He takes the time to explain the diagnosis, in my casea trigger thumb and the options to correct it.

I have never felt more like a number and not like a patient. Worst experience I have had with any medical professional
