So, I’ve been having pain in my neck and lower back for years. I was treated with physical therapy sessions at a different place before but that didn’t really make a difference for me. I started going to Hands On Therapy and honestly it’s the best decision I’ve made for myself. Dr. Jyoti is the best. She takes her time to actually listen and give the best treatment accordingly. I started feeling relief with just a couple of sessions into the treatment plan. Of course, it’s not an overnight relief, but with the in clinic therapy and home exercises, there is a lot of improvement. I would definitely recommend this place.
Over the years I’ve been told to go to physical therapy. I finally decided to try Hands on Physical Therapy. From the first day I was greeted by such professional and caring individuals. All of the staff, from the receptionists to the Physical therapists are friendly and very helpful. As for physical therapy, I have improved and will definitely keep coming back.
I am very happy with the overall experience. Dr Jyoti is very knowledgeable and kind. I came because severe knee pain and after a week I was feeling much better. Destiny is very friendly and professional she makes it easy to schedule future appointments. I would highly recommend this facility to my friends and Family.
I came to Hands On Physical Therapy with severe pain from pre-existing conditions which were untreated for a few years. I could hardly move my neck, shoulders and arms. Dr.Jyoti was very patient and professional in all her treatments and really cares about her patients well being which you don’t see often at most places. After few months of treatment I feel like a new person and so greatly appreciates the efforts Dr.Jyoti and her colleague Bhavesh has taken toward my treatments. I’m starting my lower back treatments soon and can’t wait to feel the same relief I have now with my upper body.I would 100% recommend Hands-On Therapy to anyone whose looking for a good Therapist.Thank You to All the staff for a pleasant experience.
When I first got here, I didnt believe therapy would work for me but Dr. Jyoti has worked a miracle on my wrist! I saw several places before and they didnt work but Hands On has improved my wrist so much. I love it here. Come see Dr. Jyoti for all of your needs.
I had pain in my upper back and arms which was gradually getting worse but after visiting here my pain is gone and I feel like I have a lot more energy to get things done. The staff here from the receptionists to the physical therapists are all very kind and work with you one on one. I would recommend going here.
Was very concerned with my wrist injury but they created an individualized plan for me and were on top of my progress. They really care to make sure you improve and relieve your pain. Would 100% recommend thank you guys
I would recommend Dr. Jyoti for everyone who’s in pain. I have been having lower back pains for several weeks but only after one visit my pain has started to get better. Really good experience!
I never wanted to go to another PT place. After my wife made the appt here, I canceled 3 appointments and finally because of extreme pain I considered coming here. I must mention, Ive been to two PT places prior to this in last 2 years and they were ok... I mean moderate help and then Id drive to Bronx to a chiropractor for help who would do alignment which you see in instagram videos. Anyways, when I came here, my lower back muscle was sore and pain was shooting in the right hip and all the way to the ankle. I had little hope but I met Jyoti whos the therapist. She checked me and immediately told me what was going on. Today was my 3rd visit and I already feel 60-70% better. The exercises she administered with great patience is worth mentioning and the massage, ultrasound and electrical therapy she administered is something I was not offered anywhere. I feel sooo good, painfree and I can go on writing because of immense joy. Thanks to Jyoti. I highly recommend this place if you have any back pain or any pain (except emotional ones) because people here are different. No fancy stuff but a greater understanding and work towards help and treatment. I give a huge shoutout to the staff here

I am soo thankful for the quality service I receive during every single visit. The entire team is consistently professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate - all the qualities that are typically hard to find in a healthcare office. As a registered nurse, I have suffered with chronic lower back and sciatica nerve pain for years with no relief from chiropractors, PT, exercise, etc; but now I can finally see a breakthrough with my recovery and have started getting relief with Hands on Therapy after only several weeks. I know I still have a long way to go but Im looking forward to it. Very special thank you to Destini, Anutt, Dr. Babash and especially Dr. Jyoti who is truly one of the best Physical Therapists I have ever met! You all are the best - I definitely recommend this practice and team!

I cannot speak highly enough of this practice. All the staff are very knowledgeable and provide genuine care for their patients and take a personal interest in speedy recovery. My mom was unable to walk straight and she used to Drag her foot while walking they totally brought good change and she is almost abel to walk all fine. FIVE STAR 🌟 PLACE

My dad came here for treatment by Shoaib. Dr. Shoaib was very hands on with my dad and after a few visits, he felt so much better. My dad’s back has never felt better and I can see the change. His mobility in his back has greatly improved.Also, Destiny was always very communicative with us. She made scheduling so much easier and she has such a great demeanor. I have never seen her get out of character. She always greeted us with warmth and smiles.

I have been to many physical therapy places for my mom but this place really knows what they are doing. Not only is their receptionist, Destini, the kindest and most wonderful woman ever, Dr. Jyoti is really good at what she does. Her manual technique really helped my mom with her neck and back problem. It never felt rushed. Dr. Jyoti really took her time with my mom. I had heel pain for almost a year, and before the treatment, I felt acute pain every step I took. Dr. Shoaib and Dr. Bhumi saved me! After ten therapy sessions and the exercises they taught me to do, I’m free to walk now!! Not only are they knowledgeable and professional, their bedside manners are superb. They listen and respond to patients really well and they make me feel cared about. Their front desk helper, Destini, is also the most friendly, pleasant, and helpful person, and she makes scheduling easier. If my family members or friends ever need a PT, I will definitely recommend this place!
Hands-On physical therapy is by far one of the best places to receive outstanding patient care and treatment. I am a physician with long standing neck and shoulder issues from years of computer use and poor posture. Dr. Anoop Chacko is highly competent and extremely knowledgable in his skills. He was able to identify the underlying culprit causes and spent the entire sessions on manipulation and manual stretching. Ive tried many places for PT in the past without success. This is truly hands-on targeted therapy with a great staff. They are truly patient centered in every aspect. I would highly recommend this place. Dr. Chacko has made a huge difference in my posture and relief of neck/shoulder pain.

I was experiencing severe pains in my leg and lower back from dancing. The doctors did an amazing job and getting me back to my normal self. My body felt rejuvenated after therapy. As a violinist, Ive always experienced some left wrist pains along with back issues. The therapists here are patient and know exactly what theyre doing. After a few sessions, my super random left wrist pains stopped and I was able to go home with great knowledge. Although I no longer currently live in NY, Ill always be grateful to you all. I know how to take care of my body better. Thanks again!!

When I came in I could hardly move my shoulder and neck after 3 visits it helped a lot. I feel way less pain in my neck and shoulders. They really care and listened to what my issues were and focused on helping me feel better.
I have been seeing Dr. Bhumi for a few weeks new for my neck. I have bad posture and sit at a computer all week. It puts strain on my neck and upper back.Dr. Bhumi has helped me figure out how to fix my posture and she helps my neck feel better. She gives great details on what she is doing and is very gentle and kind. Thank you Dr. Bhumi!PS the massage gun feels sooo good! I fall asleep every time!
Dr. Bhumi and Shoaib are really helpful with the physical therapy. They are very informative and give great tips to help recover from injuries or symptoms. Even though they are new, they have been a big help to me over the last few months. I recommend this place if you ever need physical therapy.Also, the massage guns are THE BEST!
Ive been having sever lower back and pinched nerve pain for the past 5 years and have tried physical therapy elsewhere in the past and just started physical therapy at hands on for the 4th time today and I feel a wonderful and very rapid change thanks to Dr.Jyoti!!!I highly appreciate all of her help and work.God bless her!!!
It’s been hard finding a PT since covid started and the center I used to go to unfortunately closed down. Today I visited Hands on PT and I had an enjoyable experience. Easy going staff, I saw the PT in a timely manner and I felt comfortable the entire time. Just the kind of experience you want at a medical office. Also, there’s a young woman that was really nice, Destini I believe was her name, very helpful indeed.
I highly recommend this office for physical therapy needs. The entire staff was pleasant and helpful and made me feel very comfortable. The front desk receptionist was very professional and the atmosphere in the office is great. Ill definitely tell my family and friends about this place and Ill be going back. Good job Drs. I love this office. I’ve visited several and none of them compares to this one. Dr. Bhumi is so nice and she helped me with my ankle injury. As a dancer, I’m always rolling my ankle and Bhumi gave me the proper care. I recommend this place for therapy.

Hands-On is a great location to seek physical therapy, the locations are also easily accessible if you live in NYC. The staff is super nice and are willing to go the extra mile. Definitely assisted with my post-pregnancy back pain, highly recommend it.
Very highly recommended. Dr. Bhumi and Dr. Shoaib are extremely attentive and very helpful. You feel as if youre getting the grand treatment while on-site and I was pleased to have been given supplemental exercises to do that helped my recovery.

I have been to a few PT places and by fair hands on PT in Hicksville is the best from Destiny to Muhammad who are in the office and make sure i have my appointment set for the week and there so polite and My Physical Therapist Doc is so polite and takes her time with me and makes sure i do all my treatments to the fullest she is the best and most of all the place is very clean i have recommended a few people and all of them agree with me that they are the BEST thank thank you for all your help
I recently hurt my ankle and the staff were so nice and helpful with me gaining my mobility back they gave me tips to a faster recovery and I was back to work within a week this is a great helpful place to go!!!!

2022-06-24Loved my experience at this location in Hicksville. The receptionist is very sweet, helpful, and accommodating. The therapists are very well educated in their field, and can immediately spot the problem and solution, they have helped me immensely with my pain that I went in for. The location is also very understanding and accommodating of personal needs such as request for female therapist only. I would most definitely recommend hands on physical therapy Hicksville location to others in the future.

Everyone is so helpful and understanding to your needs. They get to the root of your problems and start working on the physical therapy tailored especially for you. As a result I feel so much better. 2022-07-07Very disappointed with this location, staff and doctor. I saw an ad on Instagram they are running regarding knee pain. Since they are non invasive (according to the ad), I wanted to find out details and make a decision on therapy. I filled out the online form since I called after hours. I got an automated response that said to call the office. I called and spoke to someone regarding being seen. The young lady began asking for information. I gave her everything BUT my address. I explained I did not want a lot of mail should I decide not to go forward with therapy. She says she would put the address of the company in order to fill out the form and that once I was seen, I could give my address to the front desk person. She asked for my Medicare number. I VERIFIED WITH HER THAT THE CONSULTATION WAS FREE. I provided it thinking she was attempting to expedite paperwork ONLY. More on this in a second.I arrived at the office 15 minutes early because I over estimated how long it would take to get there. The young lady at the desk was handing me paperwork to explain again why I was there. I had done this online. I asked her about it and she then said she hadn’t received any paperwork. She showed me a form she wanted me to sign that referred to a fee if you missed an appointment. I explained that I should probably fill that out after the consultation to determine if I was going to continue with therapy. At this point she let me know that the consultation was not free. I informed her I was told it was. she been used another word to describe the consultation which I don’t remember it this time, however I made it clear that I wasn’t going to continue if it was a paid conference. She said don’t worry you can see the doctor.I won’t go into the details of meeting the doctor, however I will just use one word to describe my thoughts: condescension. She asked me what I was there for. Are we kidding? I filled out this information online, I told the young lady who booked the appointment, and now the doctor is asking me why I was there. She went on to say that she is the doctor and that they may know at the front desk but she’s asking. That made no sense, however I decided to continue. She asked me for my medical history. I gave her all the details I could remember. I included my medication. It seems giving her the medication was too much for her. At some point she began to tell me that she could not do any modalities with me because I told her that I had cancer surgery in 2014. If you go to a mechanic and he starts to Talk about the details of a transmission, most of Lay persons won’t know what he’s talking about. I had no idea what she meant by modalities. So I asked her. The very things that made me interested in coming to this office, being able to see what is going on with my knee without surgery or MRI, using technology to help solve the problem, those things she said she could not do with me because of my surgery in 2014. To be clear she said she needed to be sure that the cancer was gone. I advised her I was going to my doctor next week for a blood test before I made a decision on therapy. That’s when we got back into the issue of the free consultation. She Told me it was not free, and that she would be contacting Medicare once our meetings were over to approve therapy. At this point I objected strongly. I once again advised her I was there for a consultation and a consultation only. I wanted to see different people to make the right choice. Finally, when it became clear she was trying to establish I was going to do therapy with her, I advised there was no reason to go any further and I left the office very angry.No more than 20 minutes later, I received a call from the person who booked the appointment, who then claimed she never told me the consultation was free. I had had had enough. I made it very clear to her that what she was doing was not reputable and that I would be letting people know what took place. I strongly suggest you pass this location. Something is not right about what is going on.

2022-06-22Made right choice by visiting here Dr. Bhavesh is very well experienced. Im here for pain on my palm below thumb. After few visits my pain is almost gone. Still few sitting are remaining. There staff is very friendly, Chantal, Dr. Jyoti and kausar .
