This is a late review. This daycare was AMAZING. It was my son’s first time away from home. Agnes and Angelica were so reassuring from the beginning. I was able to call and they updated me about my son’s day. I felt comfortable knowing my son was in good hands! So much to the point, I took some time to myself after work before picking him up. Agnes also sent us photos of my son when he was trying new things! Not only are they competent and professional caretakers, Agnes also really thinks of the parents. With Covid, she listened to my concerns. You know she cares when she responds, “whatever makes you happy.” I am ever so appreciative for the time we spent at Happy Caterpillar.

We were assured that this daycare had competent staff. Halfway through the first day, we were told that they would not be able to allow our daughter to stay at this daycare. We were told lies about our daughters behavior as an explanation for why they could not allow her to be at this daycare. Do not waste your time trusting this daycare to watch your children if they are unable to keep up with one young toddler in a small group of kids. I would also not recommend this daycare based on the level of communication between the daycare and the parents.

I would recommend this establishment to anyone without hesitation. They are always courteous, professional and they take good care of the children. My son has been going to this daycare for a few months now and I have absolutely no complaints. The teachers are very friendly, the daycare is very clean and organized. Worth every penny, gives me the peace of mind knowing that my child is in good hands. Ms. Agnes runs this establishment very well. She is always friendly with a smile on her face, very welcoming environment for kids. The food that is served is very healthy, always fresh and the kids love it. They are very transparent, I get daily updates on how my child is doing, what he did for the day etc. Overall great daycare, Thank You Guys!!!

The entire staff has made the transition for my son, into a learning environment and away from mommy for the day, a comfortable experience. They are very nurturing, and communicate well with me and my son. My son is always clean and happy when I pick him up. He is learning so much and is always busy when I arrive to pick him up. I am able to check in on him whenever I want. The facility is organized and clean. The owner is available to speak with and so nice. I am so happy I chose Happy Caterpillar Clubhouse. Thank you!

This was the first day care my son ever went to. We were apprehensive, but since the second morning he wanted to go to school everyday. That, coming from a 2 year old who had only been cared for my family members, speaks volumes about the quality of care in and of itself. My son was with them a year and a half and we only switched because we had to leave town for work.The love and nurturing is beyond compare. Every kid in the class somehow got close attention and we never found them lacking for care. Both parents being trainees with unpredictable and very long hours, we needed reliable care and we got it from every single teacher and Ms. Agnes at Happy Caterpillar Clubhouse. Whether it was language milestones or potty training, my child achieved them all without any parental assistance.My child treated his teachers as Moms away from home but he learned at a stellar rate too. The emphasis is on learning in a structured way but delivered through play and dance and music. I never walked into a classroom with unhappy kids.This school is owned and operated by parents themselves who understand the challenges of working parents in the city. They are open early and close late. I did not find comparable hours anywhere else in Queens or Brooklyn. And the fees is cheaper than the Midwest (rude awakening for us after moving from one of the most expensive cities in the world to the affordable cost of living part of the country).The standards met with at this school are yet to be beat. I have been away about 8 months and we still miss school as we have not found comparable care anywhere else so far. I would go back to them in a heartbeat as they have earned our trust and respect.

Happy Caterpillar provides a nurturing, fun, educational and social experience from babies on up. I know how difficult it is to make a choice and have to trust a daycare for your children. I have observed the staff at Happy Caterpillar over the years and all have proven to be committed to fostering a very rich experience for children including a love for learning, development of social skills, and they really have an appreciation for childrens individual personalities. They serve healthy food! As a grandmother who has eagle eyes I have been very happy with the nest they provided for my granddaughter and it is a bitter sweet moment to say goodbye as she moves on up to prek. I highly recommend Happy Caterpillar: a well run, organized, safe and happy place for children to be!

Do Not believe in the Hype in this daycare. You ever heard the saying whatever Glitters in always Gold- well believe it! This daycare is located in Queens, with vibrant colors, well diverse teachers, and more. Exterior phenomal! I met the owner back in December 2017 looking for daycare (part time) for my now 9 month old daughter. We had signed a contract and deposit stating that my daughter will begin on Feb 12. We were so so excited as a lot of daycares in Queens are not reputable or highly costly that are not the best or long waiting list, so finding this one was what we needed. However I was wrong! Agnes and I had several email conversations since December- she was responsive answering all questions. What changed was on 2/6/18 she stated last minute that there was a parent child that is scared to move on to the toddler section, therefore she asked us if we can do March- so mind you we had a babysitter that we gave her last day notice back in December so her last day was on 2/6/18. We said OK , we made arrangements from my mother in law to fly in so we can be ready for March. Then Agnes retracts her statement saying that she spoke to the parents about us that we have signed and put a deposit already waiting for 2/12/18 or March to start- however the parents still didnt budge. my thing is how can you promise us, and set a date and then Last minute tell us sorry No , and return our deposit and 1st week money back to us. Be very careful with this establishment and make sure they sign the contract because she conviently did not sign the contract. Unacceptable and put us in a bind with NO CARE for our daughter. If you were in our position you would be filled with ANGER regarding this matter. I thought because she was a school teacher and MOM of two she would understand, but she took into consideration the previous client stance without working and discussing our options. Unacceptable, Unprofessional- did not even call us to explain her stance and apologies.

Did you know that there is a brand new school in the very same spot? Happy Caterpillar Clubhouse has the same address as the old school that used to be here but its been totally redone. New owners, new equipment, and a new vibe thats got the whole neighborhood buzzing with wonder. Come check it out and see for yourself. This is the school where you want your little ones going. Ours do, because its just that good!
