Worst ever clubI bought x3 tickets It said club opens at 23:00 but it opened at 00:30I stood outside and wait for a hour and half then refused entry for wearing smart chino shorts. I then seen someone with shorts allowed entry shortly afterI done my research on the dress code prior to going and it does not mention anything about shortsI tried to resolve with the manager and request a refund for the tickets but he refused.I met people in the queue who were underage and they said that they pay off bouncers in order to get in regularly.I am from the UK & I was shocked by the very rude and unprofessional service by both bouncers and manager.I am not surprised by the poor reviews and hope this venue closes
Made reservations for 14 people 3 days prior. We showed up with 12 people becuase 2 canceled and we’re told only 4 could get through. Wanted an extra $20 each for everyone else and on top of that told us we have to buy a bottle.staff was rude. This was the worst club in NYC definitely go to any of the other places that have much better service.
Absolutely wack. DO NOT COME HERE. All staff, (except for my guy working the bathroom) were incredibly incredible rude. From the bouncer when we got it pushing me back after a girl told me I could go in front of her, to the security guard who charged us $150 to go in the vip section just to get kicked out my a manger after 10 minutes and then told to go f myself. DO NOT COME HERE.
Went there last night for my sisters birthday party. We reserved a table/space that was so tiny we could barely fit the decorations. Drinks were overpriced but the worst part is they put the top on your check without your knowledge. I asked why the drinks when from 19 to 23 snd he said it was because he added ice!! Because he blatantly lied I gave him another cash tip. I only noticed because I decided to take a look at the bill !! Just dishonest business practices and it should be illegal !! What out for a tall white make bartender with long hair!! Or better yet avoid all together
This place is awful! Not fun at all. Paid to get in and they wouldnt even let us go to the second level. And I saw one woman get DRAGGED down the stairs by her HAIR for trying to go upstairs to the second level! And when I finally finessed my way upstairs to the second level, it wasn’t anything special. No one was dancing on either level and the vibes were off. Also, the floor plan made it really awkward with all of the “sections” connected in one big rectangle, there was NO DANCE FLOOR on the second floor. Your only option was to dance ON the couch in your section or dance in the WALKWAY. Which is probably the reason no one was dancing. But there was no one dancing downstairs where they was a dance floor either. Everyone was probably too depressed about the amount of money they spent on drinks, which were outrageously priced. One 6 oz drink here cost the same amount as a 32 oz BOTTLE of top shelf alcohol from the liquor store. I spent SO much money at this place and it wasn’t even fun. I was so embarrassed to have brought my friends here. I dont recommend. Save your money and go somewhere funner and cheaper —there are many MUCH better party places in NYC.
A well gin & tonic in a small plastic cup is $17. They automatically added a 20% gratuity to my bill/ didn’t provide an itemized receipt or the customer copy of the receipt. They refused to serve tap water, and instead sell water bottles for $7. I wouldn’t recommend this venue unless you want overpriced drinks, dingy space, and tacky music.
This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Tuh. So I came here to celebrate one of my favorite cousins birthday. We had to wait on a line even tho we had a reservation. We got seated about 3:15 pm. No one paid us attention for at least 45 minutes. We ordered from the pre fix menu, which was entirely different from the one on their website. Then argued with us that they couldn’t honor the menu on website. Also they didn’t have an item on the menu they were presenting and gave us another option cause they ran out of spring rolls. The appetizers came out 2.5 hours after we ordered and it was so called family style cause we had a party of 17. It was NOT family style. Cause they brought out a single plate of salad. The entree meals came out 2 hours after the appetizer and there was hair on the plates. And also they served us eggo waffles. EGGO WAFFLES!! Whatever you do in your NYC experience. DO NOT COME HERE. OVERPRICED FOOD & HORRIBLE SERVICE.
Please go by the negative reviews here. Harbor isn’t the spot at all, I recommend the smaller spot next door. Drinks are extremely overpriced and security/staff are extremely rude. My friend booked a reservation for her bday and they decided to tell her 24 hours before that she would need to send another 500 when the section was already $1k & the rooftop isn’t even all that, it was damn near empty and I thought it would be like An actual Rooftop it’s basically just a third floor and they have a disco ball. If you come here don’t bring expensive items because they will have to confiscate it and if they lose it, they don’t care. If you’re in the city it’s worth to go to any other spot except here.
Made reservations two weeks in advance, showed up made us wait an hour and a half in line just for them to tell us that we didn’t make a deposit when it wasn’t mentioned once in the reservation process and no email confirmation was sent. Bouncer/manager told us it wasn’t his problem and just offered us to go to the bar. Terrible service and no accountability.
Complete waste. Typical situation with promoters, bouncers, managers all with fake designer and watches trying to shake you down and pay for every step you take in there. 2 red bull vodkas ran us $106. Bouncers are violent and beat me up on the way out they must have mistaken me for someone because nothing was said. I couldnt make it to work and Im still waiting for anyone to answer me about my complaint. I talked to some friends of mine that were there and everybody was looking for a different place to go to. Nothing would bring me back to this place.
If you can honestly avoid this club. You need tickets to get in which is actually fine but you buy the tickets and they pick/chose who they wanna let in. We waited in line with paid tickets and they only let in gringa’s(white girls). They don’t let you in unless you have heels or connections. If you can save your time & $$, go to Yuca bar or Delancey in east village
It was a cool place in a good location. The upstairs was bright and had a great view of the sunset. The roof was retractable so they kept it closed and air conditioned until it got cooler outside so they could open it. The lower floor was very trendy and much darker and it was a bit quieter so I was able to have conversations.
I never leave reviews but this place 100% deserves it. Went this weekend for my birthday brunch and it was nothing but amazing!! We were treated with respect from everyone involved from the second we walked in till the second we left. Everyone including the bouncers, security team, hostess/servers were spectacular and very professional. The entire harbor team made sure we had a blast and you can truly tell they want you to enjoy your time there. The DJ/music was amazing, the food was great, the service was tremendous and the vibes were even better. Someone from our party misplaced her jewelry and the security team did everything they could to help us find it. So happy I chose this place to celebrate my birthday. Def make your next brunch reservations with them! Thank you harbor for such a great experience!! You guys are doing it right!
Bought a $30 ticket for DJ Sinatra for 2/5/22 and was made to stand in 18 degrees for 2 hours with no organized way of letting people in and then we eventually left. The line did not move for 2 hours and new people keep coming in and going straight to the bouncer to get in with contacts. People keep getting in randomly but there was no respect for people waiting with us for 2 hours in 18 degrees weather. The tickets should have advertised as entry may not be possible even if you paid money. The worst clubbing experience of my life
I had bought tickets before hand and when we got there we were waiting from around 11pm until 2am and they would not let us in because they only wanted to let promoters in. I explained that I am diabetic and I had my medical card on me proving that I am diabetic and I explained if I can use the bathroom and come back on the line if needed. The owner was there and when he heard this he said we are lying and he asked how many people were with us and he told all of us to get out of the line and to go home. Even with me having proof of being diabetic and explaining I can come back on the line after using the bathroom and having pre bough tickets
First off, getting into the place took 1 hour, 45 minutes too long, even with a ticket that I paid for. The lines to get in are very discouraging so be prepared to wait! Dress code is so important so I’m happy to say they are stricter. Second, make sure you are prepared for the stairs. Third, the ambience is really chill and fun. Once you are inside I felt like I was transported into this light and airy space even though it was crowded. Easy bar access. Bottle service was fun and available for the tables. Great music and lively DJ! Single bathroom line that goes pretty quickly as they have several stalls (co-ed). I had an overall great time! Will def be back
I went to Harbor with two friends for the Yellow Claw show last night. The atmosphere was true to the typical Yellow Claw crowd, fine. A few things I didn’t understand or like. Many people in the crowd decided it was a good idea to drug themselves for the show in front of everyone’s plain sight. Security definitely saw the action, but did not bother to take their part in action. These same people continuously pushed and shoved through the crowd to get where they wanted to be (not the club’s fault just added to my experience). However my one friend and I felt ill, and could not breathe as if our lives do not depend on it. Throw in the massive scent of BO, and you have yourself a ticket to one of the nastiest club atmospheres. Finally, drinks were pricey. Typical. I get it. But adding on an automatic gratuity (which wasn’t clear even the slightest on your receipt for most) for all cocktails that took minimal effort and bottled water that takes no effort, is a joke.Overall did not feel super safe. People were apparently arguing and screaming just to get into the bathrooms. I also witnessed a brief fight within minutes of arrival on the second floor. And of course security was not present for that solid minute. The music was awesome, just not the best experience here.
Extremely disappointed with this place. I know it’s easy to skip over a few bad reviews when there’s so many good ones, but pay attention to the negative ones as they are the most honest. To start off, they didn’t have my friends reservation which was confirmed days prior and we were given a confirmation number. One of the guys then said that they could “accommodate” us almost as if they were doing US a favor. Second, the security is extremely rude and invasive, asked my friend several personal questions about what she had in her bag and made disgusting, ableist remarks. The food is very bland and is not worth it at all. Mimosas were 98% juice and tasted terrible ($100 for a refill on the pitcher by the way). We didn’t order hookah but were told that it would be $75 and $35 for a refill which is ridiculous. Starting to think these people have to charge so much to keep the place running after hearing all of the negative experiences people have had with them. Avoid at all costs, will never be going back here.
You pay entry just to get in 3rd floor rooftop with lounge in the whole middle of the club, so you stand on the edges to dance with bad hip hop djs and to spend more money on drinks and may be paying bouncers to let you into the lounge as well.. Not recommended at all..
It’s alright, overpriced but I guess that’s what you get for going somewhere in the city. I would give it more stars but one of the ladies that checks your bags before you walk in stole something sentimental of mine and that’s so disgusting to have people like that work for such a high end club.
On 5/21/2021, I attended an event at this place. Well let me start by saying, this definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. We were waiting over an hour to go inside after arriving at 4PM. When we observed the entrance where the bouncers were at, we saw no one was being admitted. Yet, they claimed that they were checking vaccine cards and doing body temperature checks. Yet, myself and others never observed this upon the rising frustration surrounding the lack of people admittance from those who arrived at 3PM and the crowd whom arrived with me at 4PM. It was clear that the staff were compelling peoplewait outside until the surrender of the entry fee-$20.00-was completed. The advertisement posted by this venue claimed that entry was *free* prior to 5PM. Clearly this was a ploy designed to attract more persons so as to enhance their income profitability.Additionally, I observed the staff acting discrimitorily. This venue should be closed entirely. This is a definitely the worst places at had ever attended. Please dont go there.
Worst bar Ive been to. Bouncers were being aggressive. I made a comment about finding my friend and bouncer couldnt handle my comment and kicked me out after paying $100. They said exit is final so tried to make me pay again to get in. You can find much better bars with no cover. Dont go to this place ever.
This place is completely unprofessional, the bouncer in the front did not have my friend’s reservation and said he would “accommodate” our group as if we didn’t have a reservation. My friend called a couple of days ago to confirm and even had a confirmation number. The host & waiters are nice. My issue was with the lady who checks your bag once your coming in. I have a purse and a small bag with medical supplies that I CANNOT leave my house with and need it at all times. Obviously since their medical supplies I kindly asked her to not touch whats inside my medical bag. The woman was completely rude and had attitude because I asked her not to touch. I asked her not to touch because she was already touching around my purse. She then asked me if I was “sick”. That is none of her business. Management needs to get their staff to be more professional & I will be following up with this. This is ridiculous & asking questions that are uncalled for.
Worst place ever. Extremely rude security and bartenders work here. I was not even allowed to wear a thin jacket inside just so they could get $5 for the cloak room. The security at the entrance did not even know how to talk to the customers. This place is a major turnoff. They even charged extra for the bill while including tip. I could have given 0 stars but there is no option to post this without clicking on 1 star.
So disorganized!! If you want to get ripped off come here. We got tickets from their website. Even their Instagram promotes that website! It was not scanning. It’s just a SCAM because they want to charge more at the door. So we paid because we waited on the line twice for over an hour. Then you get up stairs and the club not even full. Drinks are expensive. It’s just ridiculous. I just want to have a good time and good vibes. Put staff at the end of the line so we know we’re standing in the right line. NEVER AGAIN !!
I think all the subordinates have Stockholm syndrome or be numb, because the lack of anything resembling kindness, humility, or humanity is disgusting. This culture of attitude must be driven from top management. A place which lacks any sense of morale and lacks a respect for basic virtues; garbage.
This is probably the worst brunch spot I’ve ever been too. Don’t let TikTok fool you these people will scam you! They claimed they didn’t have my name for reservations. I had to show a screenshot on my phone. Then the guy told me we can “accommodate you” like I didn’t already have a reservations prior. The bouncers were aggressive. For extra pitcher of mimosa which tasted like tropicana it was $100! The hookah they claimed over the phone when I called to confirmed my reservation was 75, there they had it for 60?! Already shady. The staff is very unprofessional not attentive whatsoever. This place is not worth it, while leaving two guys were at the front claiming items were stole from them!
I didnt like this place at all, all they want to do is take advantage of people. I got my tickets way before the day arrived and I went there on time and they made me and my friends wait in the line for like an hour while they were allowing other people that were arriving there later to come in first. and then they told us that we have to pay if we wanted to get in after we waited for that long. And adding to that they asked the man with their girlfriends to come in first for free. and then they were asking for $18 dollars for a little cup of alcohol which was pretty much nothing. I don’t recommend this place at all if you want to be robbed in your face then do it. :/
BEWAREEEE!! Terrible experience! We were instructed to buy tickets online for the guys in the group and each were 35 dollars. We were a group of ethnically diverse young professionals. We stood in the line for over 1.5 hours only for one of the bouncer to separate us from the line and tell us that “it’s not going happen tonight, you need to go”. The manager in the purple suite is the one who says who can and can’t get in and he won’t give you an explanation. So now we paid for services that were never rendered! Rude all around and
This place is stunning! The biggest plus is the amount of bathrooms. You never have to wait, and they all have their own hand dryers and sinks inside. Usually at nightlife or events venues toilets are limited and its a pain to relieve yourself or use the mirror or wash your hands. This was a lovely experience!
Saturday night it is a club. It’s a closed rooftop and the center is VIP section with the DJ. Two bars on both sides and the prices are outrageous. $11 for a corona & $20+ for a mixed drink that’s mainly ice. The bartenders were very nice though.Cover was $20 for girls & $30 for the boys, that was typical.Crowd range is 20-30year olds. Music is a mix of house, pop, Latin & hip hop. Definitely pre-game if you plan on attending. There’s a wonderful deli up the block from the club.
I prepaid for tickets, and I would give zero stars if I could. Organization is awful. I waited on three different lines before a bouncer told me “he didn’t want to hear it” about the misinformation given. Customer service is god awful. Do not have customers pay $40+ if they will stand in line for one hour plus and be denied entry. As a New Yorker I am embarrassed that a place like this is allowed to conduct business
SCAM ——— waited for 1 hour in the line with pre purchased tickets, and they allowed the promoters line to go in … inside place was divided in two sections one for general tickets and other for promoters line.. Crazy expensive drinkers with pre added 20 % gratitude.. Never ever coming again
I attended an event here on the 3rd floor and it was hotter than an oven with a fully cooked turkey. The bar was severely understaffed and getting a drink was like watching paint dry.Once it ended I left. My friends stayed on the 2nd floor. When I tried to join them a few minutes later (I was assured it was much better there), I was told Id need heels to re-enter (I was in a dress w/ flat sandals and other girls were in jeans and low block heels so that was annoying). I go grab heels and return. I was let in by the doorman and given access to the 2nd and 3rd floors. I reconnected with my friends on the 2nd floor....30min later security asked the 2nd floor to clear out. I asked to go back to the 3rd floor and am forced out of the building even after explaining that I re-entered with the new doorman. The demographics of floor 2 and 3 were starkly different. I believe security (mainly 1 woman) didnt want to listen because I looked like I belonged only on the 2nd floor. After spending $100 for 4 cocktails, being mis-treated, and sweating like I was in a sauna there is nothing favorable about this venue and I suggest going elsewhere. The attempt to curate high-end events fails when customer service waivers. There are no amount of neon signs that can make up for poor service.
Today we were there for Lunay they said 11 is door open we though 12.12.30 he is gonna come and sing but they made us wait untill 2.30 after that he sing only 2-3 songs. That’s it! It was a lie Lunay concert, it’s like he was there only for say hi. Also workers are so rude pushing people like crazy, I saw a tall security guard push a small girl like a pet and he didint even care
I would leave 0 stars if I could. This place has zero organization. They took my reservation and confirmed it. But on the day of my reservation, as I’m standing in the entrance, the host informed me that the entire venue was booked for a private event. Nobody had informed me of this change & it forced me to change my entire itinerary. The organizers of this “private event” were also extremely rude.
I am having a blast with this club. It was more fun. Also, the Dj was amazing, very informative, and has a good choice of music. I highly recommend this club because the ambiance was great, and the drinks and foods were awesome. Besides, I greatly enjoyed my free-time spending here. Worth it and satisfying!
This place is definitely a spot is go back to, I had a amazing time there. I went there with my group of 9 friends and everyone had a splendid time. The drinks are on point! A little pricey but its no biggie. The view is amazing as well, I might be able to see my house on a clear sky night. Its a nice nightclub atmosphere... Definitely on the upscale side of things. All in all 5 stars hands down
If you want to ruin your night this is the perfect place .i was in few clubs around the world and this is the worst ever if i could give 0 star I would do it.Total scammers and Im not talking about the drinks prices or tickets prices (money isn’t issue) Im talking about that I bought ticket for hallowe’en and they didn’t let us in the right place (second floor) with the right DJ s that was labelled on the flyer and the people are so rude there are alot of better place than this one be aware of this place
They have no immediate available information for tourists. Everyone that knows anyone in the club was allowed to skip the line was allowed in immediately. We had to wait to get in and we paid for tickets ripoff cover charge. No where to sit if you’re a tourist and don’t know anyone. Very disappointed. No recomendó este club si eres turista. Soy turista, quería bailar mi música favorita en un ambiente chido y no fue posible. Si no conoces a alguien no les importas.
Wow, this place is an absolute scam. We paid close to $200 for 2 people to see a Diva Royal drag show that barely lasted an hour and a half. There were absolutely no COVID restrictions. And the drinks were trash. Also, no toilet paper or soap in the bathrooms. I have no idea how this place is allowed to exist.
This is for the after hours night club portion of Harbor formally Hudson Terrace. So I bought 3 Jameson & red bulls, 2 shots of tequila & a vodka mixed drink & was charged $286. No bottle service, no top shelf liquor and it was almost $300. This is what the bartenders do especially if its a female bartender. Shell charge you $5 for your drink because itll say $5 on the receipt but the charge on your card will $43. I bought the same thing each time with the exception of the 2 shots of tequila & the vodka drink for a girl. So tell me why are the charges to my card inconsistent? And fluctuates? They will steal your money. When you call theyll tell you theyll send a note to the manager but of course the manager wont call you back because thats the whole set up. Money is the motive, I like Hudson Terrace better, this would have never happened at Hudson Terrace. I cannot support this business again.
This place is just pathetic. We reserved a table for bottle service weeks in advance for a bachelorette party. At 4pm on the day OF the event, they EMAILED the maid of honor who had coordinated this event saying that they are taking another reservation and we cannot go in until midnight. Once we got in, the waitress directed us to our table which was not on the rooftop which we requested and paid in full for. As far as customer service, there wasnt any. The only other times the waitress came up to us was when she told us to scoot over to another table, which we did. She later came over and told us to move downstairs. She gave the bride to be an attitude after she told her we will not be moving to a lower level. This is because they overcrowd the place WAY beyond legal capacity. This was a huge disappointment to the bridal party. We did not pay the outrageous price of bottle service to accommodate the staff. I wish there was on option to give negative stars, as one star is way too generous.
Attacked by other patrons when we bumped into them crossing the dance floor. We left the venue when bouncers did nothing except separate them from us. There was a group of six of them and two of us. They kept trying to punch my friend. Very scary. Never returning. There are much nicer venues that are less expensive and kick out people who start fights. Not a rooftop. Crowded. Overpriced. You wont feel valued.
I was here celebrating the Birthday of a few of my friends, if you come for a birthday party, in the door they charge just 10 bucks to get in if you come before 12 AM.The place is not a bad, we can say that the site is in the open air, with large space where you can dance and in the middle there is a small altar where women can go up and give demonstration of what dancing is. One bad thing is that it was overcrowded when i went, I barely was able to walk. The drinks and beers are overpriced. The music is a good selection and is pretty fun to dance. The staff is not bad.
Im going to give this place a 3 because I dont think I got the full experience to give an accurate review. For example, other reviews says there are two floors, an indoor area and outdoor. I only experience one floor, the indoor area. I was also here for an Halloween event which was a Wednesday. I will start my review by saying that its tough getting here. No matter what subway you take, you have a 10 to 15 minutes away ahead of you. Its also by the water so it get colder the closer you get to the venue. So for the ladies out there, wear your coat! The area itself its a lively area. But once you arrive, you will take an elevator up to the venue. The place itself is nice. Very spacious. Big windows to see the river. There are lots of seating also. They were playing hip hop music. At first no one was dancing but as people drink more they started to dance. Because there are lot of seating, many people were sitting down at first. But once the place started to fill up and the seats were taken, people were forced to stand thus encouraging them to dance to avoid looking awkward. There was also a photo booth at the venue. All in all, not a bad party. But the location makes it difficult to want to go here again.
Went here for NYE 2016 & the venue = great, the music = great, the rooms = great. The blonde female bartender ruined the night for our group of 6 people. She was rude, obnoxious, terrible at service & completely unprofessional. The other staff were nice & I watched her serve a number of other patrons with the same disgusting attitude.I honestly want my money back for the night.I would stay clear if you are planning a night of drinking.
4 of us went. Bottle Service. Mid 20s couple, and an older party couple. Saturday Night. Over all - This was a ONE TIME visit. Table was small but the seating was worse. We had to take turns sitting. Someone always had to stand. Music started poor. The first DJ was mixing songs so fast every few seconds and it was a new song. The dance floor was empty until a second DJ started. He quickly got people moving but if you are really into music and dancing... it still was poor. The bottle service started great. But was very hard to FIND someone to bring a second bottle half way through the night.Stuffed! No one could walk an inch. The poor layout and no bouncers to keep people from shoving past each other, the dance floor became mosh pit. Had to stop people from crashing over our table all night! If I wasnt a big guy, things could of gotten out of hand.Price, normal NYC high prices. But was able to get $50, then another $75 off just by talking the staff who booked our table. Tip was NOT included so you can leave as much or as little as you wanted. But still check your bill twice. They did make a mistake the 1st time through. We danced some, drank a lot, had some fun and went home. But with other places we been to being better, we will not be returning. Try it on a slower night might help.
If I could give less than a star I would do it so fast.Probably the worst place to go to if you are trying to enjoy yourself/others. No space to move at all what so ever, extremely rude employees. You end up spending so much money for so little. What turns me off the most is how non accommodating the management and staff was. It was my first time there last night and it is surely my last.If the staff could be a little more nicer, attentive, and the management can actually give a rats ** about you, especially when you are paying more than $700 for two flimsy cheap bottles and horrible seating I would actually come back. But from what I experienced yesterday, no thank you.So many stupid young disrespectful drunk people groping my family members, people were trying to offer us drugs.. Just really bad. The pictures are only pleasing to see but when you step foot in the place, you might wanna turn back around.
Very spacious, I went for the day party and stayed for the night party. Depending on dj music may be good or too much of one type of music. They open the see through ceiling sometimes for some natural air and more sun. We had to exit the club and return for the night party causing some guys to pay again. Overall it was nice and I had a good time.
Fancy, schmancy. Its for the beautiful people. Thats not a negative, but it is what it is. I wont talk about the cost, because the intrinsic value of going to a venue to socialize, is in the social aspect itself. Come looking to have a great time, with fun people you know; and you will indeed have a good time. The DJ was decent. Its a New York nightclub, best reserved for people under 30.
I went on 4/19/19 to celebrate my birthday which was on 4/19. The music was terrible. The DJ played early 2000 music until 130am then played later 2000s rap music, but no reggae. Xavier, a manager there, charged someone in my party the entry fee when we all had the free tickets to get in. Then instead of immediately refunding when brought to his attention, he tried to force us to get a table which went from $250 online to 450 plus in person. The rooftop wasnt even open. Ill never go back and Im telling all my friends and family not to go here either.
The employees all have an attitude. My Friends & I bought our tickets online and when we walked in, they told us we needed to pay even after I gave the girl at the front desk a copy of our receipt. She told me to go back outside and ask the guy in the front. I went out, the guy looked at us, rolled his eyes, gave us our tickets and told us he better not see us again. Even after all of this we still gave the place a try and it sucked. There was definitely under age kids in there. The drinks are too pricey and their open bar is literally juice. There is no alcohol in those drinks, they are fooling you all. There were people who couldnt even stand straight in line and were still allowed in. They took one hour to bring bottle service. If i could give this place no stars, i would. Just dont waste your time here.
I went there on a Friday evening with my friends. Terribly hot and we were all sweating for 3 hours. After paying $50 per head I see everyone with a piece of paper or a menu in their hand, trying to blow some air in their faces. Thats terrible even the servers are upset about that.Very small bar with 2 bartenders for a crowd of over 200 people, so the line is long and have to wait for 15-20 mins to get a drink.Music is good, food is good. I could give 2 stars for that, but no. Just one. Not going there again.
Vendor - I work here annually setting up my photobooth. Easy time loading in and exiting. Staff there are attentive and helpful with your needs. Always a fun time. Looking forward to the year to come. Seems like a great place to throw a party. Views of the water are spectacular on their multiple floors.
It has 2 different floors and they have valet parking. The drinks are precise and very yummy. The service is quick and the music is good. The only thing negative is the entrance because I was their for a reserve birthday party and some people had reservation. but everybody had to wait in a ridiculous line for an hour and a half to be able to get in the lobby.
Paid for the NYE event and could not have been more disappointed. What was billed as a Gatsby house party had almost no 20s decoration and instead looked like a high school dance. The venue also promised multiple areas to dance or chill, which there was not really, just a patio bar in a tent that presented almost no space. The rooftop was closed even though it was advertised, and we were only told at the door. Would not recommend and will not be returning. Barbacks and bartenders did a great job! Not their fault the party fell flat.
I originally brought tickets on Groupon for a brunch deal on July 7th . Apparently, the deal was inaccurate from the time of the brunch to the actual brunch . After speaking to the manager, he was truly extremely accommodating. He refunded me everyone in my group money back as well as providing complimentary champagne for my inconvenience as well as my reserved section. I truly appreciate everything he did to make my birthday go smoothly. A great manager is someone who puts the customers first. I wish I could remember his name . Very sweet light skin big guy .Thank you for everything
Great place to enjoy a show. Awesome views, and glass roof provide an awesome atmosphere.Prepared for a hot crowded mess, but its kind of what youre signing up for and is part of the experience as far as Im concerned. Id definitely come back.ALSO: Lots of stairs, be prepared for that!
First, they advertise that if you buy your ticket online, you’ll have VIP access and a free drink. We showed our tickets and were sent to the back of the line. When finally in, we took an elevator that had a terrible smell. Second, we asked for our free drink and were told that everyone gets a vodka free drink before 11PM (false advertising) which was disgusting. Then, our Booked VIP table for a 10 people party Included room for only 2 people to sit down. Third, the restroom line was huge, incredibly long, waited almost 30 minutes to go the bathroom. Music was regular, they ran out of Corona and tequila at midnight (on a Cinco de Mayo). Do not go to this place.
If you are here in NYC for one night, this is not the place you would want to be at. The prices are on the higher side, with an additional cover requirment and there is no crowd screening. Some of the reasons why it makes it unpredicatble to have a good time. The location is great and the view seems to be okay, only if they let you near the windows - the VIP tables are near the windows so its unlikely they will let you near them. Overall there are much better clubs in this city with better vibe, music and people.
As far as lounges go in NY, I would say that Hudson Terrace is one of the less trashy spots. I went for a birthday party and a table. Upon mentioning the name of the party, the staff was extremely helpful in getting me and the people i was with to the appropriate level. While the girls dancing on various things around the dancefloor on the level I was on, the crowd wasnt full of your usual club scum trying to hit on you or touch you. Rather, the layout was such that people in the party could socialize with each other, and go on the dance floor as they wished. Another great thing about this place was that no one had to worry about their things being stolen as the party area was blocked and set up near the windows a bit, guarded by security guards. It would have been difficult for anyone to take anything. While a club is a club, this one was pretty alright. The view was also decent, as well.
SAVE YOUR MONEY!! Do not go here. The drinks are overpriced and the security staff is extremely rude. If you want to have a fun night out, this is NOT the place to go. All you’re gonna get here is bad service and a very long waiting time. Believe me there are hundreds of other places you can go to in the area if you’re looking for a good night. Once it gets late they will start to kick out random people just so they can make more space for new customers.
So hot and stuffy (in the winter). My friends had a table for their birthday but that did not mean we had any sort of a private space - it was hot and stuffy and impossible to move an inch, definitely way over capacity (or what capacity should be). It could have been fun if it wasnt so packed. Nice patios, but not so relevant in the winter. And the elevator was slow or broken and with so many people needing to get up or down (and only a few allowed in at once) there was a lot of stair walking.
The 1 star is because the venue was actually quite cute. Ive been here twice now. First time, I came for an after work event and apparently the private event beforehand had run over so they had a very small section roped off for us but nobody could get to the bar to get anything so we ended up leaving. 2nd time was for an after party for the Internet Week 2014 and this time it wasnt roped off but I still wasnt impressed. Music was okay and we ordered some food which was okay but I couldnt really see myself wanting to come back here and party any other day.
We booked a New Years celebration party and the reality was nothing like the description! it was advertised as the 5th Annual Gatsbys House Party, having 2 areas of excitement (there were VIP tickets that include both, which we got). Amazing countdown, the best countdown at a NYC Nighclub. 5 hour premium open bar; Multiple areas to find the perfect atmosphere; Elevated VIP Section; Outside smoking patio; VIP Dom Perignon Table Packages.Reality: no rooftop, only one floor open, the second was under construction. The smoking patio location: go back with the elevator and outside the building. The areas of excitement were one simple hall with a bar, a few tall cocktail tables, a few sitting tables (those were the VIP bottle packages) and one cheap white tent with a small bar. The tent was horrible - no decoration, white, nylon, bad for the pictures. At least there was a picture place with a black background and golden letters, where it was packed with drunk teenagers. The whole place was not classy and stylish at all - more like teenage party - they charge like hundreds dollars per person and serve in plastic glasses! This I cannot forgive. the elevated VIP section was a table at the end of the hall on the little club stage. The line for the restroom was around 30 minutes all the time and the line goes in the hall, in front of the VIP Section, along the tables. I wonder what more did we get than the people who did not pay the VIP ticket, but the whole thing is total scam - when I got back home, I checked the tickets and, of course, there was nothing specified, it just says the amount and the letters VIP. Nothing you can relate to afterwards. The bar was actually open til 1 am and surprisingly, there was no scam here - you could go and get drinks for free. The bartender inside was inadequate however - we asked for 2 whiskeys and were asked like 3 times what we want the whiskey with, we said nothing, he kept asking waht we want him to put with the whiskey and we were like Nothing, just whiskey - in the end he still poured some whiskey in the largest plastic cups and filled them with ice to the top?! We were shocked! We were tourists in NYC and got the tickets in JUN, went shopping in NYC especially for the 20s outfits and were totally disappointed.
Registered online for this party last night, it stated guys reduced price and ladies free until 1am. I got there at 12, they held the line so we didn’t get in until 12:40 AM. Upon entering, lady says 20 for females 30 for guys. I showed her the email and she says show the guy at the door. Go back and the guy at the door was nowhere to be found. Some other guy just said if you don’t have a ticket you have to pay. Crazy part is, it says free before 1 AM. We decided to go in because we were there for a friends birthday. They also pick and choose who they let in. They told these two guys they could not get in because they had on t shirts and sneakers, well upon entering there were patrons in sneakers, T-shirts, fitted hats, I even saw a guy in a sports jersey. Drink was overpriced and the bouncers here are very rude. I went to the bar and the bar was full of people. I could not get a drink because of it, I saw a open section of the bar guarded by a bouncer and I asked can I just squeeze by you and get a drink. He says no and points me to the crowded bar section. I didn’t argue and said okay cool because it’s not that serious. Get two drinks and they are overpriced. Two drinks for 30 dollars. After bringing my fiancé her drink, I see a female patron slide right behind the bouncer and buy a drink. Bouncer walked up to my fiancé and I and just said, “move” so they could fit a guy in a wheelchair where we were. I will not be returning to this place ever again.
Went there for Halloween it was awful.. the speakers on the top room were blasting couldnt even hear the music properly. There was a performer there where she couldnt even sing of how bad the system was. Overly crowded and absolutely crazy expensive the drinks specially shots. (4 shots=$80). Very dirty and old building and terrible stairs. They call themselves a rooftop but its a third floor building.
Hudson Terrace is a great space for parties especially in the Spring and Fall when the weather is nice and the roof can be fully retracted. The venue isnt that big so the more popular parties tend to be overcrowded and the bar sometimes struggles to keep up. However, the decor is nice, and the seats (if youre able to get one) are comfy.
Please stop holding your events here! The only reason Ive trekked all the way over to this remote location is b/c people hold events here and invite me. Stop! At this point, I just dont go if theres an event here. If Im trekking all the way over to the Hudson I want some value - the Intrepid is there and thats worth the trek. This place always seems to disappoint. They hold the door in order to create a line even when its empty upstairs - Ive arrived, seen the line and called/texted friends already there and they say its empty. In addition, they try to charge on top of what youve paid for your event. Their drinks taste like theyre watered down and the bartenders never seem to know the drink specials being offered - how convenient. Lastly, they have a retractable roof and they think if the roof is open - even 2 feet - then they can allow smoking. Disgusting and thats not the NYC smoking law. If you see them doing that take pics and call 311...Theres just no good reason to go here.
Ive visited Hudson Terrace on two different occasions for networking events and was disappointed. The view, especially at sunset, is great. The little booths around the perimeter of the venue look like cozy places to sit, however, at a networking event, no one really uses the seating. In the ladies room, the first flimsy door I tried was missing a lock. I actually feel bad complaining about the ladies bathroom because theres a full-time attendant in there. Then again, Im not really sure why there is a full-time attendant in there when its such a small space.
This is a great place to host a party or special event. The main floor is nicely decorated with a large bar counter, and lots of lounge seating. There is a small stage for live performances and a small DJ booth too. Upstairs is one of the main attractions with a roof top bar. Although, it can get a bit uncomfortable depending on the temperature since you are outdoors. The cocktail prices are a bit pricey for me and depending on when you go, there may be an admission fee. One thing I dont like about the building is the elevator; I think it needs to be ungraded somehow since its very slow and only allow about 4-5 people max at a time. The staircase might be a quicker option, but you have to walk up a lot of steps...
I had reservations s to this venue for my birthday and when I got there they told me the venue has been rented out for a pride lesbian party. They were SOOOOO RUDE TO ME and cursed me out… this venue should have contacted me about it and told me they had rented the space out but they didn’t until I actually arrived with all my friends. They even confirmed my reservation the night before through email. What a disgrace and embarrassment.

2021-08-08We had a sip and paint with models event which supposed to start at 4pm. One of the models was over half an hour late. To my dismay, it was over exactly an hour and half later which supposed to be an 2 hour event. We were told the bartender probably cant make the drinks we saw in the menu so we had to think of top of our heads for a drink. Oh, the food was too pricy but we told it was good. The workers were nice and the models were good looking. Overall, we had a good time but I think this was a bucket list event than something I would do again.

2021-12-05This place is wack and over priced mimosas taste like hot garbage. The mimosas, tasted like seltzer and the food is okay . They tried to sell me organic avocado toast like no I can get that from Dunkin’ Donuts . The steak looked anorexic and they had the nerve to add an additional 15.00 per steak order . We complained about service and they gave us a $10.00 champagne bottle. They tried to sell us a pitcher of mimosa for 100.00, I couldn’t believe it . The audacity I spoke to a friend this morning that was with me and she said the female security guard last night was harassing her about her medical device that she has to bring with her for personal health reasons .I don’t recommend this place for brunch please go elsewhere . Please don’t believe the reviews or Instagram it’s nothing like that . I’m just upset I came here !The photographer purposely takes pictures from angles to make it seem like it’s lit when it’s not

2021-10-12Fantastic atmosphere and crowd. They checked my covid card so make sure to bring that with you before you come. The ceiling dome is enclosed but can open up to show the sky which I found pretty cool. The drinks are in the 20 to 25 dollar range so its a bit pricey.

2022-05-23Promoter said we could bring my boyfriend to our table for a $50 min tab (this was fine). Upon arrival the host aggressively pulled him by the elbow from our table and said it’d be $100 to seat him separately at the bar, where he’d have to stay the whole time.Seriously? We were a diverse group at a half-full daytime event and other men were seated with their parties, so something about this felt targeted. Hate to be that person, but I can see how the poor service and aggressive staff would inspire all the other bad reviews on here.

2022-05-14The vibe and the scene is great. The staff are nice but the business is poorly ran. They advertise a prefixed menu that was not available when our group arrived. Thus, forcing the group to order food items “family” style that they are allergic to or do not eat such as pork and meat options. No communication was provided to the group prior leaving the birthday person dissatisfied and bothered. I would not recommend for groups over 10 people!

2022-06-26BEWARE!! The owner only likes white girls. He made me and my friends pay to get in while a large group of white girls just walked in! We paid $70 for 3 drinks and $60 for hookah!!! Both were ok. Overall the club was a waste of time and we could have went somewhere else with a better DJ and atmosphere. If you decide to go without buying a table it’s not worth it!

2022-05-09I do not recommend this place. Overprice drinks, also if you do not pay attention, tip is already included to the bill, but they add the tip option also. The cocktails tasted like juice mixed with water. And the shot of fireball was also tasting weird. Also the promoter called Ackim, promised me free entrance, a table and free drinks, to me and my 15 girls to celebrate my birthday. When we got there, they told us that we should pay, and we did not get anything that he said. That was a Scan. Also he was very mean to me and my friends saying that we were not dressing appropriated to the club, when we were all overdressed. The Djs was repeating songs all night.I do not recommend this place, and for sure I will never come back.

2021-10-18Literally one of the best places to party! So many people, such a good vibe from everyone, and heck its always clean here! Like even the restrooms are clean which is something you don’t tend to see in most clubs. The only downside i can actually say about this place is the prices for drinks and menu. So You should be prepared to spend a decent amount of money here if you are looking to have some drinks here. Tho i cant blame them much for the prices, they do push in quality by probably paying a ton of money on the rent for this location and staff, etc… so even tho this is literally my first review on a club in my life (I usually tend to trash clubs and not do reviews) it is well deserved the five stars.

2022-05-02Horrible service. waited over an hour to get a drink menu. didn’t get our food for 2+ hours. didn’t get the carafes that are supposed to be included until we asked 3 times over the course of 2 hours. they told me i didn’t pay a deposit so they didn’t know if they had a table available for me, i tried showing them the credit card statement for the payment and the confirmation email and they completely ignored me. eventually did get seated but had to wait a total of 1.5 hours to get seated. venue is small and kind of a weird layout. the tables are literal plastic picnic tables. their website also claims that they don’t include tip on your bill, which they did. it was completely a scam. report scams, fraud and bad business practices here: ReportFraud.ftc.gov

2022-06-12I never leave bad reviews but this place was absolutely horrible. I felt like I was at a teen party, the drinks were disgusting, and overall the atmosphere was not the vibe. I can’t forget to mention how rude and disrespectful the staff was.. especially the owner. If you want to feel like you’re on the show “Beyond Scared Straight” that’s the perfect place to go. You will NEVER catch me and my friends there ever again.ALSO, if you want to have a good time I went to Noir right after harbor and had the best time ever!
