Hardwood Bro’s is a great value and offers a great service! Anyone that needs to buy wood for a fireplace, fire pit or kitchen here is the place to go! Great quality product and all the wood is perfect and klim dried so seasoned and ready to burn immediately. No wait. All quality wood and sizes. No bad pieces and all the right size and good mix of wood type. Eugene the owner is knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. I certainly anticipate being a repeat and repeat customer for years to come.

We bought our first home in Dutchess County and needed wood everyone I called was sold out. I called Hardwood Bros at 7:30 at night expecting to get a recording saying they didnt have wood, well was I surprised when Gene answered the phone and had wood. I had no idea how much wood I would need or the cost. Gene was honest and sold me a mini cord the perfect amount for us. I thought I would have to wait until the next day to have the wood delivered but Gene said he would delivery it that night. Gene was in Bronxville when I called he went from Bronxville to Dutchess County picked up my mini cord, delivered and stacked the wood at my house so we would have wood when we moved in that weekend. Oh by the way he delivered the wood at 9:30 that night and sent me a video of the wood on my porch. We have lit a fire everyday since we moved in and it smells great.I recommend Hardwood Bros to anyone that wants great wood at a fair price but more importantly amazing customer service.Gene, we will get more wood in a few weeks thank you
This the best firewood you can get and very reasonably priced. 1 good sized log burns for 3 hours. I consider this wood to be an affordable luxury. I will be a customer for many years to come.
If you’re looking for wood, search no more!! I’m a bit of a picky person when it comes to all things and Hardwood Bros had exactly what I was looking for along with top notch customer service- what more could you ask for? I’m usually leery of new businesses but I’m so glad that I gave them a chance! I’m a customer for life. You won’t regret choosing them for all of your wood needs.

2022-01-28I purchased the regular hardwood blend. It is an absolutely exceptional product. I’m just heating my home with a wood stove, but with this wood, I am no longer a slave to the wood pile. It really does burn efficiently, leaving very little ash. It was easy to place my order, and it was followed up by good customer service. In a time where most businesses are charging more and more and giving you less and less, it is very refreshing to be pleasantly surprised by Hardwood Brothers and their products & services.

2021-09-07I cant express how much the Hardwood Bros team SAVED MY WEDDING! I last minute had to get tons of firewood and they made it happen within minutes. The customer service is so on point and they found a way to make it work for us. I cannot recommend them enough. Will definitely be using their services for any future events!

2022-01-29Highly recommended, excellent customer service, great product. I ordered a face-cord of mixed hardwood in November, but had a lot of trouble using it in our wood stove: lots of smoke and smoldering. Not having bought from them before, I thought the wood might be green and emailed the company. Got a response the next day from Casey offering to send someone out with a meter and additional wood to rectify the problem. I checked with my own meter and found the wood was perfect, most pieces below 9% moisture. Problem was in my stove and flue; fixed and now the wood burns beautifully. Kudos to them for offering to fix a problem that wasnt theres to begin with. I will definitely be ordering from them again.

2021-12-18Called before I ordered to make sure the firewood would be at my home in Sullivan County before Xmas. Mark promised that it would, even if he had to load up his own car and bring it himself. The half-cord arrived 3 business days later, and its by far the best wood Ive ever burned. My wood stove starts first time, every time, and Im using far fewer logs than ever given the low moisture content.In case youre wondering of this firewood is worth it... it is.

2021-02-11I feel so blessed to have found Hardwood Brothers. I was sick and tired of paying for wood that was supposed to be seasoned but obviously wasnt and would not burn. This is the best firewood ever! You pay a little more because of the expense to kiln dry it, but it is so worth it. The wood is a beautiful mix of hardwoods that are cut to sizes that all work in my wood burning stove. And, on both deliveries this season, their guys couldnt have been nicer. They were a pleasure to deal with. I cant give enough praise for this company and would give them 10 stars if I could. And because there is no sparking, Lu Lu loves it too!

2021-07-22This is my first time ordering wood for my wood burning pizza ovens. I decided to call and get information, Gino was so informative and made the perfect suggestions on what I needed to buy. My order was delivered quickly and it was exactly what I needed to cook the perfect pizza. The delivery guys were also very professional. I can’t wait to order again.

Its clear that Mark, one of the owners, not only cares about his company providing a great product and service to their customers, but equally cares about making sure his employees are treated right and taken care of. From the owners to the delivery guys, first class all around. I only wish my demand for wood was higher so I could deal with them more often.

2021-06-01Purchased a 1/2 cord of kiln-dried wood from hardwood bros. Quality of the wood is great, no insects or mold. Can actually put it right in the house and not worry about any bugs. Also, many times you learn more about a company when things go wrong and when they dropped off they shorted me a good amount of wood. Once I let them know about the issue they replied to me within 5 minutes and offered a partial refund while sending another delivery to make it right. I was so happy with the quality of the wood that I turned down the refund but they had another deliver scheduled with more than enough wood to make up for the shortfall. Great guys to do business with.

2021-01-18Casey was the best ! I asked for a last minute change to my delivery and she accommodated me with only 24 hours notice.The delivery people were polite, funny, courteous and professional ! And Their wood is Pristine ! I just lit my 2nd fire tonight and its burns impeccably !What I especially like is that I can store as much wood as I want inside the house because its all Kiln dried with very low moisture and totally Bug free !I was also totally shocked (happily) when the delivery people told me that they store all their wood inside their warehouse. So its not just sitting outside in the damp cold weather and stuff and attracting bugs, etc.I would happily recommend this company and their wood to anybody !While their prices may appear to be a bit on the higher side - what you have to realize is that most places store their wood outside and maybe its just cut from the tree. This wood is professionally treated and Bug free so I would say that you get what you pay for !!! I will definitely be ordering more wood from them Again when this 1st pile runs low.
