Very prompt and courteous on setting up service. When they found that there was multiple things wrong with our washer, they recommended purchasing new and not pressured us to repair. I will call them for any future repairs.
People say support small businesses. I wont when they rip you off with high prices. $67 for an oven heating element at Hargo. $23 on Amazon for the exact same one and same brand. Im glad they were out of stock or I would have bought it like a fool.
They were sent by Whirlpool to fix a leak in the ice maker in my Kitchen Aid French Door refrigerator/freezer which was under warranty. “Fixed “ it but when I opened the freezer drawer the next day, a part fell off. They came back and “fixed “ this but the freezer drawer was put back in incorrectly. Would not seal when closed. When I called back to have them come to fix this, I was told they didn’t service my area any more. So I ended up having to pay someone to fix what they broke.
We had a buzzing refrigerator, and thinking we might need to replace the whole thing. The tech from Hargo came, diagnosed the problem, and I was able to get a replacement part for an easy (and inexpensive) fix -- Im very very very happy. The tech was professional, knowledgable, and right on time.
Jeremy and Chris were professional and knowledgeable! I had an issue about a week after on same appliance, but it wasnt due to the work they did. They came back out on same day that I called and they didnt charge me for the second visit even though it was my issue! Thank you!!
Great place for repairs. Very prompt with the appointment. Very fair and upfront with the cost. Couldn’t be happier with my experience. I would absolutely recommend these guys and will use them again when needed.
I needed a baking element for my oven. I called them up and had it in stock. When I picked it up the staff were very friendly and helpful. If you ever need a part check with them first. Hargo will always be my go to place for parts.
Very knowledgeable, friendly, and quick with repairs. After not being able to figure out situation with a gas dryer and purchasing parts at the store tech came out to service dryer and took care of the situation at no additional cost. Highly recommend this company for all appliance service.
Was very happy with Jeremys service, but was surprised that the service call went from $69.95 to $99.95. Guess the increase is due to you moving from New Milford, Pa to Johnson City, NY. Might have to find someone closer, but still great service !!!
They did tell me $70 to come out. I guess i had some reasonable expectation that he could fix it. So for literally 10 minutes to say the compressilor was shot and I needed to replace the fridge it cost me $75.00. Id like to make that for 10 minutes work. So just a beware.
There are cheaper, and more accurate appliance service people in the area, charging significantly less; if you compare. I’m out $75 service for the service call but I saved money on the parts & service by shopping around.
They are friendly and very helpful. I even needed a dryer part and they ordered it right away for me. Thank you for all your help.

Very poor customer service. Young lady on the phone has a poor disposition and gave plenty of attitude. Thats not how you engage a customer or retain a sale.

2022-03-10Had warranty work done on our dishwasher. First guy that showed up acted like he was put out and seemed a bit grumpy. Also called morning of service to tell us we needed our purchase receipt. Someone should have mentioned this before day of service. Second guy Steve was wonderful. Checked everything out, told me what was wrong and had office order parts. Office staff was great, parts came in sooner than expected and because they had a cancellation we were able to get quick service. Lucky for us, Steve was the technician on duty. He was able to fix the dishwasher quickly and once again just exuded wonderful customer service!

2022-06-23My Maytag dryer was making a grinding/scraping sound and we called Hargo, which scheduled us for the very next day. Our repairman, Steve arrived on time and got right to pulling it apart. Turned out it was nothing major, just some loose hardware and a random loose screw. Definitely would recommend this company. Friendly, honest, professional and knowledgeable about appliances.

2017-04-09Cant say enough good things about these guys! They showed up quickly and were able to fix my icemaker in a matter of 10-20 mins. They also have the proper parts to make my icemaker crush ice again. Would highly recommend. Service calls are very affordable with these guys!

2022-02-13My Frigidaire washing machine developed a slow, steady leak and I needed repair in a timely manner. I called HARGO on Feb. 7, 2022 and Repairman Josh was here promptly on Saturday, Feb. 12. (We were also placed on a cancellation list with hopes of moving up the appointment if there was a space). Josh checked the connections of the washers hoses, operated the washing machine to make a full assessment of the needed repair and to verify that no other parts were broken inside the machine. It turned out to be an easy repair of defective metal hose on the back of the washer. Josh replaced the hoses, ran additional water into the machine, to confirm that everything was in good working order. With the price of a replacement machine tentatively looming in my mind I was thrilled that Josh was able to complete the repair in a timely manner, thus saving me a lot of money.Josh was friendly and accommodating and provided a receipt for the work when completed. Way to go Josh! Thank you HARGO for sending us such a nice repair technician. We will definitely call HARGO again if we need other appliance repairs in the future. I hope that I can request Josh if we need him again.

2021-03-04Great small store. I haven’t personally been in there other than recently to pick up a dishwasher part for my mother. However my mom has used them several times for parts and filters. Being a small store, it’s easy for her to get in and out of with he reduced mobility. They have either had the part or ordered it right up for her. She has always been very pleased.

2018-04-06Phone service was wonderful and pleasant to talk to, and immediately have me an idea of what would happen (especially helpful with no knowledge of appliances). Then my technician came out the next day. Talk about easy to work with! He was awesome with my son who continually asked him what he was doing. This company takes the time to do whatever they can to help you! You cant go wrong with Hargo!

2019-01-24We have had Jeremy H. as our service repair person for almost 25 years now. He is the BEST knowledgeable & professional in the country...There isnt any appliance he cannot fix....he is a wealth of information and we seek his advice only when having to buy a new appliance. He is so polite, respectful of our home cleans up after the work is done, always has a smile and a pleasant word. His prices are the best around, he goes out of way to explain everything & answers every single question we have.We just love having Jeremy as our service person, we recommend him to everyone who wants an honest and trustworthy gentleman. 2019-04-12Dave was very personable and professional. He diagnosed the washer issue without delay. Although we had to wait for an ordered part, the delay was minimal and repairs completed within a 48 hour period. Will be a repeat customer!
