The absolute best Dental experience I have ever had!from the front desk staff to the assistant and hygienist down to the Dr, the absolute best!!!!I was terrified of the dentist and came in crying asking for help .I need work for both cosmetic and health purposes .staff was kind, patient ,helpful and let’s not forget incredibly talented.It feels so good to smile again , can’t wait to finish this process as I still have a little work left to do but I’m so glad I have a dentist for life ….as long as his practice exist :-)Thanks again to Harlem Dental!

My family and I have been going to the office for years. Dr. Nazar is very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Assistant Borys and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. Comfortable atmosphere in the office . Always a great experience when I visit Harlem Dental Care. I would highly recommend this office!😊
Harlem dentist is amazing! The staff is friendly and welcoming and their service is great. My only issue is that the woman who cleaned my teeth was so ruff and a bit rude.
I had filling done after the process was done they took x rays of the tooth they worked on with a special device then made a hole in my tooth right at the end of the whole process of fixing the tooth. i would not recommend anyone going here they dont want you to “smile with confidence” respectfully.
The staff there at Harlem Dental care are top notch. Had an appointment at 10, No exaggeration, was in the chair and gettn my procedure workd on by 10 15. if livin in harlem or work close by.I highly/strongly recommend Harlem Dental Care. PS. They need to dedicate more time to their patience & provide better service. I waited an hour past my appointment time all to get my teeth cleaned for 10 minutes and for the dentist to legit look at my teeth for 2 seconds.

As someone who is really afraid of the dentist this dentist totally put me at ease. He is caring, very polite and approachable. He does not rush and in between he always asked if I am ok which I totally appreciate really like this dentist. So kudos to Harlem Dental

The technician who took my X-Rays was very patient. The Dentist who cleaned my teeth was very good and it was not painful.

Went to the office as a walk-in to get a tooth extracted. Reception was very kind and helpful, as was the nurses. The Doctor explained was the situation and gave me options aside from extraction (though I went with that regardless). The procedure was done quickly and with care, and the doctor also identified some other things I should get checked on in future visits.Most important, they helped me with some financing options as I have no insurance, so I can pay for the service later. All in all it was as good as one could say getting a tooth pulled out of your mouth could be. I will definitely be doing business with them again.
I had a great experience at Harlem Dental Care. Everyone in the office is courteous and treats everyone with respect. The ladies at the front desk that you see first when you enter the office are amazing. The x-ray technician handled me with care. The dental assistant was pleasant as well, if anyone is looking for a dentist’s office that cares about its patients, this is a place to come. The dentist explained everything in detail that I needed to have done. He took his time explaining everything in detail. Harlem dental care is a place of professionalism. I am not going to lie I dont like seeing the dentist. I had such a bad tooth ache that I had no choice. Harlem Dental care gave me an emergency appointment with out any problems for a new patient. The care and the patience the staff has is priceless. They took care of me so well. The whole time they will ask me if I was doing okay. I’m sooo thrilled to have found you guys 2yrs ago. I’ve been looking for a Good dentist for soooo long and when I found this dentist on google I was a little hesitant because of the distance. However, I must say sometimes you have to travel far. I LOVE IT HERE AND DR. Daviti is soooo Great at what he do.
I have never in my life visited a clinical setting with such great customer service, the staff is so friendly, welcoming, helpful and understanding. The dental service I received was impeccable. Such a great experience to so the least. I will recommend 100%.

I am so pleased I found this dental office. I can honestly, say I am excited 😁 at every appointment the 2wk wait is tooo long. These young Dentist are masters of their craft. They are the best general dentist that have worked on my teeth. They are open and honest about your options upfront. The office staff is friendly and inviting plus they know all the dental codes to get the ball rolling fast. The office itself it very clean. Sometimes there is No wait other times the wait could be 1hr. TRUST ME they are worth the wait, you will not be disappointed. I love my new bridge cant wait for my second bridge next year....Thanks to them I am falling in love with my teeth all over again. Seriously Harlem Dental is a 💎 gem. I am a patient with a nervous terror regarding dentist offices. I dont like being there and Im a wreck. Dr. Shcheglov has a chill demeanor that keeps you the same way. Theres no fussy judging or looks about whats wrong in your mouth and youre just able to let him do what he needs to. His numbing is THOROUGH. Like, your still numb two hours after you leave kind of numb... which I WANT. I dont have to worry about it wearing off while they are working. I would pay extra if I had to. NUMB MEMy only criticism is that the online appointment request nd responding to their email doesnt seem to be productive from my experience. I need to make contact with the staff.When it comes to billing, someone will come back and walk through everything, discuss payment options and answer questions in the privacy of your room. Ive even given them my card and let them charge things and bring my card back to me so I am not discussing my business at the window in front of strangers.The staff are little bees hustling to get things ready between patients and prepping the room for what Dr. S will need for your appointment. I have zero gripes with his care and have been a patient for years.Signed,Terrified of Dentists
Yes, I enjoy going to Harlem Dental Care because the staff is welcoming and professional. My main reason is because its the first time Ive gotten my teeth cleaned and didnt dislike the dental hygienist afterwards. I keep asking myself why isnt gentle teeth cleaning everywhere. Theyre honest and not trying to bilk Medicare by telling I need procedures I know I do not need.Harlem Dental Care, for me, is the real deal.
I had not not received dental care in over 3 years due mostly to fear of dentist and prior bad experiences with dental treatment. A friend recommended Harlem dental to me stating the staff were friendly ,nice and very professional.I fearfully made an appointment and was pleasantly surprised with the comforblityand professional treatment I received..in short I walked out of the office with a big 😊 smile on my face...Still smiling LW.
The staff is very professional and helpful. I have had terrible experiences with going to the dentist in the past. I must honestly say that I have not had a bad experience with Harlem Dental. The dentist explained everything before work started. Explained what was to happen next visit. I recommend them.
Clean office polite professional and efficient staff all across the board. Ive visited the clinic 3times 1st as a walk-in in severe pain bad infection. 2more times with appointments. Ive had a short wait and seen as close to my appointment times as humanly possible. Appreciate the fact dentist kept checking to make sure I was alright as he performed a root canal took impressions and shaved my tooth and capped it.. Idk maybe I was too calm😊. Overall I am satisfied with the services received and will not be seeing any other dentist as long as this clinic is in existence.
It was awesome. Very professional and good gentle hands. You dont feel any pain or discomfort. They are very professional and exellent at what they do. Im very happy with the procedure they did on me. Outstanding and I thank the dentist very much.

The receptionist, Ashley, on Saturday 10/9 was pleasant and professional. I was not kept waiting and was serviced according to my appointment. Doctor Nazar S. and the assistant Boris also treated me kindly, with concern, answered my questions and were professional and pleasant throughout the visit.

I called to make an appointment after selecting this office as my primary dental office through my insurance portal. I was told I need to call back in 30 days despite the fact that my selection was immediately shown in the insurance portal. After waiting 21 days I called back and explained that I have a severe toothache and need an appointment. The person I spoke to said the next available appointment is September 22nd. It really seemed like the receptionist wanted to make the process as difficult as possible and was totally uninterested in helping in any way. Extremely disappointed in the lack of effort, empathy and assistance. I hope the owner of the practice knows that their receptionist is actively playing defense against potential new clients.

Had a wisdom tooth pulled today, and a cleaning Dr Mike was EXCELLENT!!! No pain at all. He made me feel very comfortable and relaxed, I highly recommend him. The receptionists are also helpful and pleasant. I dont want to leave out the dental assistant, she was also great!! Best dental care to date

I have been coming here since they opened and it is always satisfying. Very sanitized, the dental asst & Dr. Nazar are attentive and good at making sure you are okay. Most of all there is no pain when getting extractions. I have always been fearful of dentist but once I came here Im never anxious or worried whatever the procedure Im expecting. I read in a blog that The Worlds Best Dentist from 2020 works here. So I went to see. If you lived around the corner from the best dentist in the whole entire huge world wouldn’t you go see him? That’s a big thing. So I went, it was true; there is a plaque on the wall when you walk in that says it as well. So if you read about it in forums or you hear somebody from Harlem say that they go to the worlds best dentist; if they are talking about Dr.Nazar they really aren’t lying...they do. People do be lying that’s why I had to go see personally being as though I love saying “the best” so bad. I can vouch for it....it’s true. Harlem got the best everything.

Dr. Nazar Shcheglov and his team from my experience have been very professional and friendly. Dr. Shcheglov is thorough providing top quality dental care. I’ve never enjoyed going to the dentist; however, I find him to be gentle and he will let you know when you may feel some pain or discomfort. He is my number 1 Dentist and I don’t want to go to another Dentist EVER. I recommend Harlem Dental hands down.

Harlem Dental offers impeccable work. I hate the dentist but the level of work that was done on me I almost shed a tear at the end results. The work that was done on me was explained to me thoroughly and even for future visits. The employees at the front desk offered great customer service in the office as well as on the phone.
I don’t think this place deserve 5 star. They didn’t find a cure for bad breath issue. I canceled my last appointment because i knew it will be same. They will tell you you need this you need that, root canal, cleaning, that this but they won’t care if it works or not. They will only care when they make money out of your mouth. Pity.
Lovely dental care team! Dr. Nazar and his team did a fantastic, efficient, and comprehensive job on two root canals that I needed to get done. He is the first dentist Ive had that is not my childhood dentist, and I couldnt ask for a better one! The care coordinator staff at the front desk goes above and beyond the call of duty and definitely make my trip from Brooklyn to Harlem WELL worth it.Overall very nice and professional staff who really seem to care not only about my teeth, but about me as a person as well. As ALWAY I dont even think of Harlem Dental Care as some distant Dentall Place I go to because truly a lot of Dentists in NYC are not re-opened since Covid. Harlem Dental really feels like part of my family. I can hardly even imagine going anywhere else. I dont know of a more skillful Dentist than Dr. Nazar. He can painlessly do root canals and retreats and other complex procedures that most other dentists wouldnt even attempt. Dr Nazar does most in a fraction of the time most other dentists would take. That not because he is not as careful--its because he does them with a singular focus. He typically knows EXACTLY what a process will entail and he just goes in with very sure hands and works almost like he has some sort of second vision. That is a direct consequence of having done those difficult procedures over and over again.
Harlem Dental Care is a good establishment in the Harlem community. The staff are friendly and they help assist you with your insurance questions and needs. The appointments are scheduled quickly, and you are seen almost immediately after your scheduled time.I highly recommend Harlem Dental Center to all who want quality care and great customer service.
Clean office. Friendly staff at the front desk, the dentist always addresses my concerns. I have never waited for a long period of time for any of my appointments. Comfortable setting. Other than the initial pitch of the needle the work seems pain free. Yes i had a root canal, fillings and cleaning done and personally I am not scared of the dentist like in the past. I have recommended friends and feel genuinely grateful to Dentist and also the assistant.
I have had a few positive experiences so far at this dental office. Dr. Nazar was highly professional and understanding along with Dr. Mike. The receptionists especially Dahlia were professional and seemed knowledgeable. Im not going to negatively comment on the mask issue because what I witnessed, those staff members were not directly intersecting with patients and there was a glass protector between us and the receptionists. I also saw receptionists fully wear masks each time one of them left their safe area from patients. If the office is crowded a person can wait or reschedule. But I am in control of my own social distancing from others here. I found my new dental home!

The whole team at Harlem Dental Care was awesome. Dr. Mike is the best. Very through in asking questions and finding the solution to my dental situation. I came in for urgent care and he made sure I was okay. Explained each step he was taking to extract my tooth. I will be coming back.

I had the best experience at this office. Literally once I came in I was greeted by the front desk and immediately tended to. My wait time was so short. I was seen by Dr. Cheung. He was amazing.He filled in all my cavities and did my cleaning . I felt absolutely nothing . He had amazing bed side manners. He gave me helpful information to continue to improve my oral hygiene. My cleaning was done carefully and thoroughly. I would definitely be coming back and bringing my children with me!! Highly recommend this place!
This location was phenomenal!!! I was in severe pain, pain that literally had me in TEARS & I had a trip in Jamaica in two days. The receptionist had the best customer service ever! She was soooooo helpful while making my appointment and even more helpful in person. The worst thing on earth is being in pain and having a horrible experience but this was not that. I’ve had root canals before and been in severe pain after but not this time! 3 hours after leaving I was eating and I’m currently on my way to the airport and I feel great! Everything was spot on! Dentist was so nice and gifted too! He saved me from going crazy!
I just called and made an appointment. The receptionist Dolly was extremely helpful and professional. All ny questions were answered politely and I made an appointment for next week in a 3 minute span. I give them 5 stars now and I will come back and review the oral surgery after. By the looks of the other reviews, I doubt the rating will change. People like her make the world go round and I cant wait to smile confidently again! Happy holidays!
I previously gave this Dental Office 2 stars. However, after returning because I did not want to start all over again at another facility. I must stay I am very satisfied with my results. Dr Nazar is an amazing dentist along with his assistants. At all times they made sure I was comfortable. Horrible place Tall white dentist was rude told us to leave and kept telling us to leave because my 1 year old was making noise.
I am deathly afraid of dentist, but I had a major tooth ache and needed to find a dentist quick. I choose Harlem Dental and I am totally satisfied with the service. I had to get a root canal and I was so scared of how much pain it would be but I must say I had very little pain. Dr. Nazar and the staff are great and they make you feel very comfortable. I am still afraid of dentist but I will continue to go to the dentist as long as its Dr. Nazar and his staff.

I began my dental work right before the Corona Virus shut down NY. I live in SC so I get my dentist paid through my Union. My work was completed August 17, 2020. I was able to travel to & from, residing at my daughters house. Im happy of how my dentures turned, they look great & feel good. Thank your staff for the care they gave me. I am a new patient and I must admit so far, so good!. The office decor is calming and clean, the staff was friendly, and they seem affordable in comparison to other dental offices Ive visited. Ill post an update once I get some scheduled work done. My only concern was the wait time to be seen.
Totally loved it! Got an emergency: was exhausted with toothache, so followed the recommendations of my friend - called Harlem Dental Care and was very pleased! Got last minute appointment in the most convenient time. Once I got there (few steps from subway stop) - there was almost no wait, the place was clean, the staff - attentive. Dr. Nazar was super patient and helpful. Gave me all the options of possible treatment and got the job done great! And whats even more important - the price was very reasonable! Coming again for bleaching my teeth next week! :D

I had to replace a porcelain cap in the front of my mouth. Since we’re living in the times of instant info I google searched and found Harlem Dental. Initially the wait was a little long but it was a busy day. After xrays I was assigned a Doctor, sat in the chair and explained what I wanted, and it was seamless. Cosmetic dentistry is just like any other elective surgery, pray you have the right doctor. Dr.Nazar was knowledgeable, efficient and quick. Went back for the cap, it’s a perfect fit as if it never came out. I’m absolutely satisfied. The ladies at reception are also gems, amazing!

The place is clean, and customer service is really involved and caring. Affordable prices and warm atmosphere. Would recommend to visit. I had couple of problems with my teeth that the previous dentistry I visited caused me.As a result I ended up at Harlem dental that the friend recommended and I don’t regret being there. And with this place all my teeth problems are gone. A huge thanks!
Because of its location I did not have high expectations. I was actually very skeptical. However, this was quality service in the hood! Honestly this is by far the best Dental place Ive been too. Not only does Dr. Nazar do an awesome well job with the patient but he also discusses options and takes his time with you. The staff is amazing as well, the place is very well kept very modern and welcoming. Dolly is the first person you will meet when entering this office . She runs this place efficiently. She helps out even when shes not at the office. It is rare to find a nice person taking your personal information in any doctors office today. Finding a good dentist in Harlem is not a problem anymore. They also take most insurance plans unlike most dentist in the area. The team is professional and kind. And the doctors greet you by your name. They actually know who you are. I was completely satisfied.I am smiling from ear to ear

Harlem Dental Care is an excellent Dental Office! The office is very clean and well maintained! The staff is friendly and does its best to make sure that they are able to fit you in according to your schedule which is very accommodating! The Dental Hygienist Tiffany is wonderful. She does a thorough job and is pain free! Dr. Nazar is the absolute BEST! He has done extensive work on my teeth from crowns, root canals and fillings and I can honestly say, “It wasn’t bad at all.” This is coming from a scaredy cat who used to have to have gas just to get a novocaine shot to have a filling as a young kid! I strongly recommend Harlem Dental Care for your dental needs! You won’t be disappointed! 😉

I was so afraid of pain that I experienced in the past at the dentist that it kept me from going. However, this dentist made the entire experience painless and fast. He did a wonderful job. The office staff are friendly and very professional I highly recommend this dentist. And its right and in my community.
I agree with Kelsey Hanf. Very unsafe COVID practices. The waiting area was over crowded with no seats available as if they over booked people with the same appointment. I came on time & had to stand. Was there waiting for 40mins thinking to myself. If they don’t care about Practicing Social distancing. I don’t think they care about how they handle Medical equipment. I saw no one for the 40mins that I was there. So decided to leave a make an appointment somewhere else safe. I would not recommend anyone to go there. The place should be shutdown for Jeopardizing the people lives in this neighborhood.
Best dentist in town. Simply magic, had a root canal done with zero pain and discomfort after. The girls at the front desk are amazing. They make you feel like your family and that you’re at home.

Thank God they were open, I thought I had to wait till the state open back up to get a tooth pulled out. But it was empty, thank God they took care of me right there, no long wait. Its safe and very clean. I think dentists are essential and should be open. But yet abortions clinics are not essential and they are open. Dentists are essentials workers as well and should be open.

I had an appointment early this morning, and I have to say WOW I was just blown away by the level of care and service I experienced today, I usually hate the dentist, but they were so accommodating with my anxiety about taking X-ray and Roman took his time with me. 5 stars to the front desk and the doctor very thorough and explained everything to me just amazing.

The staff is amazing and Dr. Lazar is a dream. Im deathly afraid of the dentist but hes gentle and funny and never makes it weird.
Very unsafe COVID practices. Many people in the reception area were not properly wearing masks, which was a huge issue given the wait was over an hour long. On top of this the receptionists kept their masks around their chins and when I asked one of them to put it on so I could talk to her she said she didnt have to because their was a divider. Ended up not getting a prescription I needed because I wouldnt go to the maskless receptionist when the dentist told me too. Ive been going there for three years but wont be again. Do not go here if you are concerned about COVID.
Had an awesome initial and 2nd visit, however, the 3rd visit, scheduled for 2:30pm didn’t go as well. It’s now 3:35 and I’m still waiting! Our time is valuable, hoping Harlem Dental will come to this realization!!Doctor finally comes in at 3:55pm, takes care of a portion of the work and now I’m left to wait an additional amount of time for him to complete the job! Unacceptable!!! They’ve lost a customer.....To their credit, the completed work was great. (Reason for 3 stars)
Hey Hey, all I can say is that Harlem has a diamond in this place. From the reception desk to the x ray room, to the hygienist to the Drs chair, they make you feel comfortable. My third time coming, and Its the same care every time. I reccomend all of my friends and family.

I was extremely anxious as I havent been to a Dentist in almost a decade.The staff at HDC really do care, each and every person made me feel so comfortable and at ease. I love Harlem Dental. I was seeing a dentist in Boston who would always try to up - sell me different products. Harlem Dental is just a GREAT dental practice. They also are 100% the best on prices - I used to live near them, but moved to DUMBO - however, I will still make the trip because they are just that great. My appointment was at 10:00am I got XRay, Teeth Cleaned, Topical Application of Fluoride Varnish and was done by 11:30am. Clean office and friendly staff i dont remember my Dentist name but he is nice and informative 👍
Let me just say that i’m very happy with my veneers they look amazing and the dr. made sure that they were perfect. He worked on them until they were picture perfect and that they are. Whole staff is awesome and i’m so glad i decided to have him be my dentist.

The main attraction of Harlem Dental Care for me at this point is Tiffany the hygienist who does a fantastic job from the heart. She is professional, thorough and and caring. I used to cry when someone worked on my mouth. No more. I trust Tiffany completely. I feel lucky to have found her in this clinic.
My appointment at this office was incredibly unprofessional. My initial appointment was to get my wisdom teeth removed. The surgeon was in preparation and the receptionist decided to arrive last minute with a price quote. I decided to schedule another appt due to how unprofessional it was. I gave them another chance. The receptionist was once again unprofessional, making me wait several minutes before informing me I could sit down. When the surgeon arrived he told me that I wouldn’t be able to get my teeth removed DESPITE him prepping me the first time. He decided to refer me somewhere to an office that wasn’t any more helpful than this office was. This will be my last time visit and I urge anyone in need of more in depth procedures to seek help elsewhere.
The wait was not long for my scheduled cleaning. The personnel were their usual accommodating and friendly selves. The cleaning itself was diligently done and I have yet to have an unpleasant experience (other than having cavities, which is my fault).
Dr Cheung is one if the best doctors in Harlem. My daughter had an abscess and my pediatric dentist was not able to see her. Thank goodness for Dr Cheung and his staff. Thanks to them she was seen immediately and they were able to extract the tooth. My family and I are so fortunate to find a general dentist willing to treat kids. Definitely bringing my son and my wife here as well.

I have had an implant consultation previously at another office before looking at the reviews. Dr Nazaar and his team provided a quote that was much less than the Park Ave location I went to and the result and process was exactly as was explained to me. I generally am not a fan of the dentist put I had a pleasant experience with Harlem Dental. Wait time was good, you can watch Netflix after the hygienist is done while you wait for the dentist. Dr. Cheung was efficient and answered all of questions to my satisfaction.
Dr. Nazar and his entire staff at Harlem Dental Care, from the front desk to the dental assistants, are friendly, professional, and above all provide excellent service with a smile. The office is very clean and recently updated with individual Netflix-enabled TVs in each patient room to pass any waiting time (which is minimal). I have been coming here for over a year and couldnt recommend Dr. Nazar and his office more!
If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. The place is dated and gross. The latina who was the dental hygienist for the hour, told me to dont drop the xray card in my mouth because its very expensive and would cost me money if I did. I only visited once bc I think theyre used to speaking to their clientele this way (Harlem residents). Id recommend everyone from here to try another dentist.
So I thought this place took my insurance, but turns out they didnt. They referred me elsewhere but I really wanted to be seen here and agreed to cover the charges out of pocket. Doctor Victor Cheung (who went to Yale) aka Extraction Jackson took great care of me! I was super nervous, and have a lot of anxiety, crying and shaking, but he spoke to me throughout the process, let me put some music on, and removed both of my wisdom teeth in under 20 minutes. He was so sweet and I am super appreciative of the professionalism, the care, and would def return!! Thank you so much guys!

My first experience at Harlem Dental Care I was so nervous about going to the dentist. The receptionist Dolly made me feel like anything was possible after talking to her over the phone to make an appt. she made me feel like I can do this I can go and get what I need taking care of. As I arrived to my appt she made me feel very comfortable by the personal attention and support she took the time to give me. Believe I needed it. As Dr Nazar entered the room and introduced himself he could tell I was petrofied. I must say god was with me because after my first visit I had the courage to come back and get work actually done and I can honestly say after my second visit I love my dr nazar and now he is stuck with me as his patient for as long as he is doing dentistry. My experience has been overwhelming and life changing for my spirt confidence and courage. Harlem dental care are no. 1 in my book!!!
I had a root canal done atHarlem Dental Care and let me tell you I was so scared and in pain but procedure went totally pain free from beginning to an end. After that my pain went away, dentist here is really comforting and makes you relax, so I highly recommend this place.
I chose only 3 stars specifically (this is my first review, further down I’ve added my second part to it which will explain why it’s a 1 Star as you see) because i needed to get dentures from Harlem Dental Care, and their process took about 3 months in total before my dentures were ready and afterwards, I wasn’t really explained to about important dentures related information. Things such as how one should use the fixodent to hold them in place, or that there are concerns regarding the zinc in the product which could affect your health if you overuse the product. They provided no dentures brush for me to take home, and I’ve actually only have learned about my dentures thanks to other people I happen to know who have clued me in. That being said, the 3 stars is not so much related to Harlem Dental Care providing inadequate service, however, anybody in need of dentures living in the area, should be aware that Harlem Hospital offers a far better overall procedures for anyone in need of dentures. They have dedicated an entire suite of resources I discovered which are designed to quickly and efficiently get you from being in need for dentures right on through to actually having them in your mouth. Many of the necessary resources and prerequisite tests and X-rays etc, at Harlem Hospital are addressed as individual steps required for the patient’s needs, and they maintain some personnel who at any point is always overseeing the completion of your dentures. The service by design answers any questions or concerns you may have at any point, and puts great emphasis on making certain that by the processes end, the patient knows everything they need to, has an adequate dentures friendly starter kit, and most importantly, is completely satisfied with their new teeth. I have heard that instead of 3 months like harlem Dental Care took, at harlem hospital the period of time you’ll have to wait was around 1/3rd the time; about 1 month.Bottom line, if I had to go through acquiring dentures again, I’d choose harlem hospital.Part two: I had to add the follow up which led me to choose 1 Star. My dentures procedure took three months through the thanksgiving and Xmas season. Had no way to chew at the holidays. After getting my dentures (top), I have about 10 teeth of my own on the bottom. One has a cavity on a front facing tooth that no professional dentist could miss. Since no tooth repair had been done during the 3 months, I called Harlem Dental Care to ask if my dentist there felt it necessary to see me for an appt as he hadn’t done any toothwork in 3 months. I was after my original post (above). The secretary put me on hold to check and returned to say, it’s time for a cleaning so I’ll schedule you in. I was quietly outraged inside. At this point 3.5 months had gone by with no toothwork done, and they thought a cleaning needed to happen before addressing my cavity or any other myriad repairs I still need on my 10 teeth. I said to the secretary to hold off on that appt as I was in the process of changing my hmo and might not be insured to be able to return, and hung up the phone. This is the consequence of at their asking, writing an honest google+ review for Harlem dental care. That have all but neglected my actual teeth, so I must soldier forward seeking ways to get my needs actual met. If at all possible, that’ll clearly include not returning to Harlem dental care.
Dr Nazar is a knowledgeable and experienced professional that will take care of your smile at the highest level. He is very gentle and thorough, will answer all your questions and make sure you get the best treatment possible without any extra costs or procedures. Very trustworthy and reliable.
Dr Cheung is a amazing dentist. He fixed my chipped tooth in the front and was positive and nice the whole journey with a terrific sense of humor. I recommend him to anyone in Harlem needing a dentist.

Just had a very painful cleaning without a flossing. When I asked why no flossing I was told because only the hygienist does that. I paid cash for a cleaning with the dentist and got maybe 15 minutes. His only dental education was a reminder that my fillings were old and needed to be replaced. Expect more from a fellow heallthcare provider. Smh. wont be returning

When I asked the lady at the front desk how many more people are in front of me she rolled her eyes and said I dont have any control over that.The appointment was at 12, I came in at 11:50, Im still here at 12:50. 1 HOUR WAIT TO BE SEEN AND I MADE AN APPOINTMENT!Extremely hostile and rude women at the front desk. These dentist Doctors Chung & Nazar Schcheglov have no bedside manner! Dr. Chung is mean, rude & I believe intentionally inflicted unnecessary discomfort & pain on me because he had to replace a crown Dr. Nazar Schcheglov botched. Tiffany the hygienist is deceitful! She told me I did not have to pay for a deep cleaning then said in front of another employee, thats a $25 charge. Dolly Speaks Spanish in front of patients to other Spanish speaking staff like Spanish is a secret! Long story short, DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTAL OFFICE! You have been warned by a Registered Dietician Nutritionist.
I was out of town and had a dental emergency. They were one of the few dentist offices that were open on a Saturday afternoon. They got me in and out really quickly and my tooth looked like nothing ever happened. The staff was extremely friendly as was.

I recently met with Dr. Nazar and was squeezed in last minute. My face was swollen, I couldnt speak properly or eat. Yet Dr. Nazar managed to examine me. Hes very professional and knowledgeable. Three days later and Im feeling so much better. Allow him to help you too! You wont regret it.

Im a new patient, I had a 1pm appointment, I got out of there at 4pm. It took the dentist 40 minutes to take out one tooth. I got home at 5:30 pm, I am still bleeding, they are very unprofessional.

The establishment was very clean and smelled good. The dentist was amazing and it was great seeing a young black female dentist, we need more representation in our community. 2022-06-02I was literally squeezed in today, in a good way. They were able to do my cleaning, thanks to the lady on the front desk. The cleaning was about 20-25min and it was done very precisely. Michele did an excellent job. I am truly happy with the visit. Dentist looked at my X-rays and my teeth and had some suggestions which i will leave for another time. Overall very positive dentist experience and vibe.

2022-05-05I don’t usually write reviews. But I can’t stay quiet now. It was a terrible experience for me ever. They damaged 2 of my healthy teeth, put extra seal (without polishing so I left them with sharp corners ) and used anesthesia without my permission (it wasn’t necessary). Work has been done on rush. Next day my seal was cracked. So I’ve got to choose another dentist because I was really scared to go back. I’m curious why they have so much positive reviews🤷♂️ I would never said if it’s just one mistake. But there were bunch of them. All they want is to use your insurance as much as it possible to make more money. This is New York… Patients is not problem. So they don’t care about quality of service.

2022-07-20The hardest thing to do is change. My initial visit was rough. The Doctors and staff took note of my concerns, and adjusted. As someone who deals with a large amount of professional clients on a daily I can testify how difficult this is. You must have a responsive and dedicated team. I am revising my initial review, and now recommend Harlem Dental Care. Not only did they take note of my concerns as a patient, he also repaired the prior Dentists work. The Doctor keeps me abreast of what were working towards, and my options. Great job guys

2022-08-09I’ve never had a bad experience at Harlem Dental! Today I had The pleasure of meeting and having Dr Bryant do my root canal. She handled me with great care and I feel So much better!! They truly have a GREAT TEAM there from the amazing receptionists, assistants, to the doctors!!

2022-07-08Been coming here for years and everyone is so incredibly friendly and professional!! I came in last min. bc my filling came out and they were able to take me no problem. The doctor is knowledgeable, efficient, and a people person. Everyone makes you feel very comfortable. 100% recommend to everyone

2022-03-02I came in 15 minutes early of my appointment and was served immediately upon my arrival. My teeth x-rays and cleaning went very well...it was professionally done. The dentist was courteous and professional. He gave my teeth a clean bill of health. The receptionist was also courteous, professional, pleasant and prompt with her service towards me.The office was clean and peaceful. I was out within 45 minutes.

2022-07-06Im very happy with the type of service the staff at Harlem Dental Care provides. They were professional and the time spent at the dentist was remarkably fast. I would definitely recommend this dental office to others.
