Harlem Furniture is the place to go. Their customer service is top notch perfect! I dealt with Armando and he was the most understanding and patient manager I’ve ever worked with. I consider myself a very complicated/difficult customer and visited this place 3 times before making up my mind. One day, Armando spent 6h helping me out, while tending to other customers, find exactly what I needed and the prices were just reasonable. The delivery was very fast and all my items were delivered on time. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to buy some really nice furniture while receiving the best customer car service ever!
I have ordered two pieces. After waiting for a month, I called and was told that one piece is out of stock but the other can be delivered any time. We missed a month for no reason!During the delivery and assembly the chairs were damaged, because the crew was unprofessional and with no skills. The table was delivered without legs. They were delivered next day, so I had to stay at home again and miss work.The damaged hard wear pieces were promised to be delivered next day. Never happened. I do not believe they are even ordered. Every time I call I am given the same answer: someone will call you tomorrow.I will not recommend this place. Even if you find a nice piece of furniture there, it will be either damaged during delivery or out of stock.
This is unlike any other mattress store Ive ever been in. Knowledgeable and caring staff. No pressure. I genuinely believe these people when they say that my sleep and health is here mission. They have some exceptional products i could not find anywhere else. I write maybe one or two google maps reviews a year. This one is well deserved.
Bought a sectional in 2013. Still in excellent condition, but I needed a replacement cushion due to my own wear and tear. 5 years later...I made a call to request how to purchase the replacement. Armando, the manager, took my info and shipped me a new cushion FOR FREE!!!! Now my couch looks brand new! Excellent customer service and excellent furniture!
My man and I noticed the store went in first thing we saw was a living room set fire place all set up like how I want in my apt different color couch very impressed then I saw kitchen table my mind was set. I told the gentleman Ill be back and when I came back we did the paperwork the price was reasonable with warranty. I also saw a bed Ill wait until after the holidays. The gentleman owns store in Harlem and looking for location in Yonkers he was around when Seamans furniture was around and they sold good furniture. The gentleman told me Ill get my furniture in 2 weeks because they didnt have the piece to the fireplace Ill wait to get everything one time. The gentleman was honest made me feel comfortable. 5* rating for customer service.
I ordered from this place before and had no problem. I thought they were OK. Good thing I did not give a good review beforehand because this time around, my experience was dreadful. To make a long story short, I cancelled my order and went elsewhere where the sales person was excellent and my couch delivery was on point. A month later this place still charged my credit card for a merchandise I cancelled and never received!!
I happen to be a very intuitive person and I had a feeling I should’ve ran... all good at the time of sales pitch. Sales man J tells me I would get my delivery on Thursday June 20th after he swiped my card he stated July 15th... 🤦🏻♀️ I whet to spend money on places that lack a good professional ethic or don’t establish a trusting vibe with their clients... I pray they change it.
I purchased about $20,000 dollars worth of furniture. The experience was amazing. The sales person was very very helpful. He knew everything about the furniture I was asking for. They even threw in a couple of gifts for the new house. There prices were great compared to raymore and flannigan and the quality was much better than bobs. I shopped around for about 2 weeks and they had the best combination of quality, prices, and service. The delivery men were very respectful when they came to my house and set up all the furniture in record time. Overall My Experience There Was Excellent and I would definetly recommend them to anybody.
I absolutely loved this store, I went to the Harlem furniture Store in the bronx on 560 exterior street. The customer service was outstanding. I purchased my bed, an oversized mirror, lamps and a mirrored nightstand for an amazing price and had it delivered in less than a week. The guys even set up the bed, opened up all the boxes and didnt leave a mess. They were extremely nice, helpful and fast! I would honestly recommend this specific store to everyone and the best part is that everything was brand new with no scratches, which usually happens when you purchase online! Super happy!!! :)
This was the worst experience I had with this store. I purchased a bed set for my children paid in full on March 2018 there was an issue with delivering the bed I waited all day to b rescheduled to a later day after I threw away the old beds. now in June 2018 my 8 yr old daughter goes to sit on th bed and a he sat the bed fell in on itself on top of the twin size trundle bed underneath it for my 3 yr old.! I went to the store I was assured that someone would come inspect the furniture for repair on June 14 after 4 pm. I waited. I Finally called at 7 pm. I was told that they would arrive at 9pm I informed them that that was too late bc I had to work in the morning.! I was told I’d receive a call but I never did. My children’s bed is still broken. The service and quality of products has diminished over the yrs.! Although Wendell (salesman) is a shining star the product is faulty and they are inflexible after they get ur money. I’m still working to resolve the issue.!
Great customer service in the store but if your furniture comes in defective or damaged dont expect anyone to help you. I recently bought a damaged dinning set. Every time I call the store they leave me on hold forever to only tell me theyll get back to me when they hear from the manufactures. Never got a call back. Its been 3 months and counting. I get the same excuse every time I call them. The dinning table cost me $1000. I should have never came here. Someone warned me about this place. I didnt listen. 😡 I guess legal action and contacting consumer affairs will be my next move.
The worst store i bought a love seat and sofa in April they came damaged until this day they havent exchange it. No comunication at all . POOR customer service . The store is the worst .Dont waist your time buying here you will have a hard time . They always have a story . They promised me that i was goin to recieve my new sofas today and never happen . I lost a day of work waiting for them .Unnaceptable. 2 months in a half to recieve my new sofas and still waiting. Also i attempt to speak with the manager and never called me back .😡😡😡😡
Very nice people , A guy named Frank helped me out he worked with me and made sure I was 100% happy and satisfied with the furniture I picked out always happy and always telling me deals when I come in the store. Also when you buy anything you have a 1 year in store warranty I really like that .Definitely will be coming back soon , thank you so much Frank youve been a big help , God Bless
This is the worse store to buy your furniture from the make everything look easy and nice for you to make the purchase and send you the wrong items, broken items and even worse the warranty that they make you pay not even the 5 years one is pointless they never change or fix anything its all lie they act like they cant find you in the system but they surely find you to charge you what owe them
Everything is awesome ofcourse at the time of sale, but once you need assistance to repair a part of the furniture, noone is responsible. Cusomer Service at its worst! I have dealt with all 3 managers amongst the Bronx and Harlem store and are all a joke. I have been cancelled rescheduled and promised a tech to fix my sofa that never shows up, for the past 2 months atleast twice a week. You guys can do the math! I am an honest,, hard working woman, very sensitive to promises, all of which these managers made and Ive been incredibly dissapointed. I was able to complain to the BBB, but come to find out the Company isnt even credited or listed in the system. My advice would definitely be to spend a few extra hundred dollars for a company that will definitely value you as a customer for upcoming years not just in the spare of a moment. My fiancé and I spent about 500 dollars on insurance alone, and cant even get serviced. I will NEVER purchase again. I can be given free pieces and Id deny it. Lesson well learned for me! Good luck.
Stay away from this place ! Purchased a sofa and love seat supposedly ashley stuart name tag on it . But the materials used to make the sofa is of very poor quality compressed particle wood!Sofa is beginning to fall apart.! Warning stay away from this furniture store!!! Sale staff is not honest.
Where do I begin? 1. While in the store, the salesperson who originally gave me his name went on his phone. He later got angry with me for using another salesperson. They argued over who would get my sale...so unprofessional! 2. I ordered a living room set, bedroom set, and kitchen set. When they delivered my order, they managed to miss the whole kitchen set! They neglected to tell me that not all of my order would be delivered that same day. 3. When I asked them to deliver the kitchen set on a certain day, they arranged it for a different day and I had to rush home because the delivery men were waiting on me outside of my apartment door. 4. They gave me the wrong area rug with my order. 5. One of the draws on the bedroom set dresser was broken. I will never go to this particular store again!
I love this store !! They have endless options to choose from . The sales rep was so nice and patiently answered all my questions making sure I take home the right pieces and when they didnt have the one item i wanted in store they had it delivered super quick . Ill definitely come back again
Paid in full, delivery was late at night around 7 P.M., received everything I paid for Bed,Box-spring Mattress, 2 wardrobes one with a mirror, as well as a couch. The rest of these reviews might be from another store. Except, for the few who had mistakenly received the wrong item. I am satisfied.
If I can give these crooks 0 stars I will. They are the most disgusting people I ever did business with, I regret giving them my money. As I walked in the store I told they salesman specifically I didnt want a black or brown couch. He showed me around and I purchased a lovely Green couch. They were suppose to deliver the couch on a Monday afternoon between 4pm - 6pm. I waited all day until 8pm!!!! YESS 8pm!!!!!! I called them and I guess they forgot because an half an hour later they came and brought the WRONGGGGGGG COLOR COUCH!!!!! It was BROWN!!! I was so frustrated I told the deliver man to take the couch back to the store they refused and told me to call the store in the morning !! These people knew exactly what they were doing... The next day I showed up at the store , they told me that I was wrong thats not the color I ordered. They even went as far as removing the couch off the showroom a day later. I would not recommend this place at all. DONT BUY FROM THEM!!! SERIOUSLY !!!
Wish I had read these reviews before I gave them my money. Horrible just isnt the word to describe their service after youve paid your money. Unknown to you, youre expected to wait months for a delivery and be happy to do so. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy months of frustration.
I purchased a dining table and a fireplace from them... after paying a delivery fee and told them im in a 5th floor no elevator they wanted to charge me more on the delivery day... and broke one of my chairs 🪑 now i have to wait in to they send me another one supposedly and left all the boxes and everything in my living room when i usually buy furniture in different places and they take the mess back.
I bought a living room set , including a smart TV and artificial fire stand. Mohamed , Maro & Abe who is no longer there were amazingly helpful. Mohamed was the best . He was patient with me and waited until pass their store closure which is usually at 8pm for me to firmly decide what I wanted. The final choice was great and thanks to Mohamed . He also went above and beyond to find me a good financing term for me with WellfsFargo. I ended up getting nearly $8,000 worth of items and at this moment , I have $3,000 left to pay. Its been a great experience. The quality of the furnitures is unmistakable and everyone who comes to my place loves them!
Dont buy anything out of here youll be super sorry they give you the run around after you pay your money its hard to get a hole of anyone because they never answer the phone MARO is a wolf in sheeps clothing watch out for her shes very unprofessional I really wished I went across the street to Ashley
DO NOT BUY HERE!!!! THEY WILL SEND YOU DAMAGE FUNITURES AND WONT CHANGE THEM BACK. I BEEN CALLING FOR A MONTH ALREADY AND THE ONLY THING THEY SAY IS THAT THEY WILL LET ME KNOW AND NEVER LET ME KNOW ANYTHING THIS PLACE SUCKS. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE.

2018-03-02I just rented an apartment so I was on google looking for furniture stores and came across Harlem Furnitures website and became obsessed😍. I went in and spoke to Armando who was amazing and polite, he is an expertise on getting a room together, he picked my coffee table and tv stand to match my couches which I am enjoying every bit of. My sectional is breathtaking and fit perfect in my home with the help of the measurement guide he sent me. The delivery was on time and quick for set up. This store is the best furniture store hands down. I appreciate you guys so much and definitely will be back. Prices are amazing!!

2021-11-08Upon arrival, I was told that my couch didn’t fit the elevator. So I waited. Just to be told that it couldn’t fit up the steps either. Their were three workers sent. So I was told I’d have to pay extra $ to fit the couch up the stairs. The two males whom job was to deliver never tried to get the couch up the steps properly. Two Guys that were very rushy and discriminating. One did not speak or greet as he entered my home and had an attitude upon delivery. My boyfriend left work early to help the other worker named Adam with my couch. That I knew could fit. They tried to charge me a $150 break down fee for the couch. One of the workers lied about a $50 job for $75. I can’t tell you their names because there was no real communication between us unless it was about the furniture not being able to fit in my elevator. ADAM was the only worker that cared about my experience and made sure my delivery reached the destination efficiently and carefully. He took his time and was very polite and honest. The furniture was not the problem but those two careless delivery workers . Make sure you go over your elevator size before delivery.

2020-10-22I was so skeptical about this little Furniture store but they really have nice things in there. Not cheap looking at all. Actually I saw a couple of Ashley Furniture pieces in there. Hoping to buy a table set soon.

2021-02-22I came to this store with an idea for a murphy bed for a small studio space and a sales rep was attentive JB. He assured me that a sofa bed can be better then a murphy bed and serve a dual purpose for the space. JB Showed me this gray couch that matched the studio decor and at a slight injury to his toes and showing off where the queen sized memory mattress is stored and the move either side leg rest portion made this sale hard to resist. He even got me some insurance for the item up to 5 years. So the Sofa bed will be a great addition to my small studio. Harlem Furniture called me with a time window of delivery and during a snow/rain situation. Im greatly appreciated of this furniture stores above and beyond service and its professionalism thank you sales Rep J.B. for changing my mindset, and showing me another possibility for functional furniture. I look forward to visiting your furniture showroom again..

2021-04-10Received my delivery today, I must say this was the worse delivery service I ever experienced. The deliver guy who came in was very disrespectful and didn’t have patiences at all. He actually didn’t care to figure things out with me. First thing he said was “the space is too small” “he can’t waste his time here figuring it out, he has other customers”, when he literally was in the apartment for only 10 minutes. I was so confused on why is he coming into my apartment with a negative mindset, we paid for this service, we should work together. I had to figure everything out myself and guess what, everything end up fitting with out him helping me figure it out. All I want to say is, when working for a furniture company you have to have patiences with your customers, with a positive attitude. I will not be buying from this company anymore, nor will I recommend this company to anyone.

2021-04-16Went inside, looked around and found a set that I loved!! Then BOOM!!! Recently purchased furniture arrived severely damaged....waiting 2 weeks for replacement....upon further inspection found furniture is not solid wood....edging on dresser pulling up. To say that Im disappointed is an understatement!! Looking for a cost adjustment.......
