I meant to write this sooner but was so busy baking and getting ready for the holidays - things I never thought I’d be able to do when I started physical therapy in August. Due to a shoulder dislocation and an arm fracture my right arm and hand were a useless appendage. Brett Laffin has the gifts of skill ,combined with patience and encouragement that motivated me to do the work necessary to recovery without fear. I am happy and thankful to say I can now do all the things I love doing again. My experience at Harrison PT was even enjoyable. The entire staff is friendly , helpful and welcoming making the frightening experience of recovering from an injury much easier to get through. Thanks to Kyle, Brian and Amber for their supportive attitudes and patience. Thanks to Brett Laffin and all the staff at Harrison PT for helping me get my life back. 🦋
Loved everything about Harrison PT! From the first time I called them, an actual person answers the phone and they were helpful and kind. Scheduling appointments was easy and they really work with your schedule. The sessions of therapy [I saw Christopher] were informative and amazing and I am so very happy with the care I received. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Amazing experience. Absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable, and reliable staff who only want to see you recover. I recently had an Achilles tear and went from unable to put weight on my leg to jogging in a short six months. They make you feel cared for and at home no matter who you work with. Excellent service and even better staff. Hopefully I don’t tear anything else but if I do I already know who I’m going to.
I completely tore my rotator cuff this spring. I had surgery to reattach the tendons and rebuild my bicep. After time to recover from that, I started PT with Harrison. My therapist Billy was great. Very encouraging, knowledgeable, pleasant and engaging. That can be said about everyone there. Harrison has such a wonderful positive vibe at the office. Every person there was a joy to work with. I watched all the staff interact with the other patients. They really get to know the patients and give them what they need. Some need a personal connection. Some need to be pushed. Some comforted. Some just need to be guided through as the patient does their work. Its this level of engagement, understanding and attention to the individual that makes Harrison special. Thanks to Harrison PT I have resumed my normal activities and have the skills needed to make sure my shoulder continues to stay strong. Hopefully you dont injure yourself, but if you do, Harrison will put you right!
From the moment I called Harrison Physical Therapy and was greeted by Heather, their wonderful receptionist, I knew I was in good hands. Heather helped get my first appointment scheduled and explained insurance coverage, etc. Matt Harrison is a wonderful PT with an excellent staff working with him. Matt worked with me to help resolve shoulder pain that I had been suffering from for over a year. Matt is knowledgeable, relatable, and puts you at ease. I was impressed by how efficiently everyone works together in their office, they know their patients by name, and genuinely care about how you are progressing in your treatment. I cant recommend Harrison PT enough. Thank you for taking such good care of me.
I have been a patient at Harrison PT on a few occasions. All of my experiences have been great. Most recently, I was seen after developing severe sciatica in my right leg. Brett Laffin was my therapist and was phenomenal in helping me heal and be pain free. I cant say enough about Harrison PT. The people are compassionate, knowledgeable and go the extra mile to help their patients.
After two major surgeries (c 4-5 fusion and removal of an internal spinal cord schwannoma (tumor)) I was sent for PT to help strengthen my arms, neck, back, and balance. The entire staff at Harrison PT was excellent to work with. The scheduling and billing process was easy to organize and manage and the PT sessions were excellent in both helping me physically move forward and mentally prepare and move forward with knowledge of all of the new hurdles ahead of me. The sessions helped keep me in a positive mindset and allowed me to make progress in many areas. They also did wonders working through the process with my insurance company because these cases proved much more in-depth and requiring many more sessions than typical. The atmosphere they create lets you know you are their utmost concern.
From the initial exam, I knew Jared the therapist assigned too me was an excellent choice. He quickly discovered my core muscles were not engaging. This was a real issue, causing my body too overcompensate for it. Jared set me up with exercises too start activating the core. With massage, electric muscle stimulation and continually evolving exercise I got 100% improvement. This is a full hands on practice, you are treated as everyone’s patient. The therapy assistants are excellent always watching and helping when needed no matter the issue, you are never ever “left alone in the corner “.Harrison PT is a total team approach. The entire staff is extremely knowledgeable and very positive, friendly and patient. This is what PT is supposed too be, Well done too an unbelievable group of professionals.Best regards,Paul Spence
I really cant say enough about the care that I received there. Its so easy to take small things for granted till... You lose the ability to use a limb and thats where the Harrison physical therapy comes in.I was blessed to work with Brett, he knew exactly what it would take to see me off and running (per say). Started with small things that really made me so tired, but as time went on I became stronger and was able to handle those small things that has ultimately landed me here, writing this review. Im walking again and its because of the incuraging words... Youll get there. Even though each and every visit I asked for the magic ofAbracadabra to be healed, but such is life anything worth getting comes from hard work.Anyone that needs therapy give Heather a call, she so helpful in arranging your appointment s and of course reminding you when you forget.Thank you for this opportunity to be heard. I pray that I never need them again but if I do, this is definitely the place that puts people back together.HARRIET!!!
In a very short time my therapist Sean and the associate staff had me on my feet and walking again. My first visit had in an immobilizing cast and using a walker. Within less than a month I needed neither one. After that Sean and staff worked to help me get fully mobile. I am so thankful. As a senior citizen I was concerned if my leg would ever be the same. Everyone there is great. As soon as you walk in the door, youre greeted by Heather at reception. No long wait time. They acknowledge your arrival right away. Good job by all.
If you need Physical Therapy in the Fishkill/surrounding areas come Here!!!!! This is my second time coming to Harrison Physical Therapy, there staff from as soon as you walk through the door all the way through your appointment are friendly and helpful. William Sablinski was my physical therapist and I would highly recommend him as well as anyone else there.
I went to Harrison PT at a point where I was in pain and thought I couldn’t be fixed. As a team, they got me back to feeling like my old self. Brett put me on a program that I can still follow now that I am done... he is excellent at what he does and is compassionate and thorough. The whole office works like a well oiled machine, someone is always there to help. I cannot recommend Harrison PT highly enough!
Harrison PT is a professional, caring PT practice in Fishkill. I received 5 star care & attention for my shoulder issue for 7 weeks with the best from Nicole, Brett, Matt & Brian. Brian (the ring master) greeted me each time with good cheer & oversaw all my exercises. All of you were so kind and helped me achieve great results. Kudos to Harrison PT!!
Great physical therapists. However, the office staff are unprofessional; their complete lack of interest in supporting and assisting the clientele is grossly inappropriate and unacceptable. They are not capable of listening to clients concerns; instead, their goal is to talk over the client so that they say what they want/need to say. Both parties were unable/unwilling to even pretend that they wanted to hear what I had to say. It is an awful feeling to be completely dismissed when seeking medical care. With so many other options out there, save yourself the frustration and skip Harrison Physical Therapy.
I would highly recommend Harrison Physical Therapy. They helped my shoulder problems immensely. The staff is professional and very friendly. Sean was my assigned physical therapist and was great - very knowledgeable, caring and really helped my shoulder pain and stiffness. The entire staff works very well together as a team and was very supportive. It was an excellent experience.
Harrison Physical Therapy is made up of an excellent team of highly knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate individuals who are truly dedicated to helping their clients recover, improve, and safely and successfully, achieve and maintain their highest level of functioning for the best quality of life possible. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in therapy with them and highly recommend Harrison Physical Therapy!
The entire staff at Harrison Physical Therapy are very pleasant andhelpful. Nicole was my therapist and she was such a pleasure, she alwayshad a smile and she took her time with you. i had been a patient a fewyears ago and had a great experience with them then, at that time Mattwas my therapist he also has a smile at all times and takes his timewith his patients.that is the reason I returned to them when I was toldI need therapy for my knee. If I ever need therapy again HarrisonPhysical Therapy is where I would go again and I would recommend it toanyone who needs therapy.
The staff at Harrison Physical Therapy have been putting me back together for the better part of 2 decades. Most recently for a full right knee replacement that was significantly challenged post-op. Matt and his staff have worked tirelessly to ensure the best possible outcome. While I still have a ways to go, I could never have achieved my goal of 125 degrees range of motion with out Matt and his staff, their expertise, encouragement and care!
Look no further for your physical therapy needs. Having had my share of PT facilities, this is by far the most exceptional !, truly. Nicole was professional, knowledgeable and attentive. Never have i witnessed a team working so well together. Not only will you have the most excellent care, you will feel welcome and comfortable.
I am very happy with the PT received for my shoulder. I now have 100% mobility and saw progress each week. Everyone who works there knows the patients by name. Bret and Julio were fantastic. Bret was encouraging, he provided helpful explanations of the exercises and soothing massages. They always inquired if there was pain after a session and made adjustments if needed. Julio made sure all exercises were done and watched to be sure they were done correctly for the most benefit. He brings positive energy to that profession. I would recommend Harrison PT to anyone needing physical therapy. Everyone who works there is very experienced, skilled and you can tell they like what they do.
I highly recommend Harrison Physical Therapy to family and friends. I received excellent care from the entire staff. They make sure you are doing exercises the proper way and explain what you need to do differently. I started there barely able to move my arm and in constant pain. My shoulder feels and moves much better thanks to the expert service I received . Thank you for a positive outcome.
My wife was very happy with Harrison Physical Thearpy after her hip replacement, so when it was my turn I also went to Harrison for my post surgery recovery. I had a great experience. My therapist, Nicole was excellent; she was knowledgable, informative, and happy to answer all of my questions. The rest of the team, headed by Brian, also contributed to each session, working with Nicole to ensure my regimen was followed according to my Doctors direction. Heather at the front desk is the best, taking care of insurance claims and scheduling appointments. Everyone at Harrison was friendly and welcoming, making each visit a nice way to spend an hour or so. I always left feeling better and one step closer to 100%!
Over the past five or six years, Ive had physical therapy three times for three different issues, and I wouldnt think of going anywhere other than Harrison Physical Therapy. Matt Harrison is excellent, but Im sure all the other therapists are as well. The entire staff is responsive, attentive, and caring.
I tried Harrison PT based upon the reviews I read and glad I did. I just completed a 3 month post rotator cuff surgery. My experience with the team at Harrison PT from start to finish was great. Professional, friendly, attentive, educating and accommodating are just a few ways I would describe the team.Brett, my primary therapist took the time to explain to me the process up front and was clear at every step along the way. All the assistants continually check on your progress during your routines. Very positive atmosphere. I would recommend them highly.PS: this was my 2nd surgery ( first time my left shoulder, this time my right shoulder ) so Ive been through this before. Im very pleased.
Following total knee replacement, I choose Harrison for my physical therapy.I couldnt have been happier! It is great to have such a professional, highly attentive staff that works with you throughout your therapy. Your therapist works with you individually, however all staff are monitoring your exercises so you always feel you have someone to reach out to if needed.Even through the Covid 19 pandemic, the staff makes sure gloves and masks are used by all. The staff constantly ensures the areas used by patients are cleaned. I would highly recommend Harrison Physical Therapy!
I went to Harrison due to sciatica, Billy was my therapist, he did a great job in getting me back to feeling normal, he is extremely knowledgeable, very professional and excellent listener to my needs, I also need to mention that everyone of the other therapist and staff were very professional and courteous
Harrison PTs therapist spent significant time in communicating all aspects of the treatment that I was to receive while providing a clear understanding of my injury and the expectations I should have during therapy. The environment is extremely friendly and the office is ran very efficiently, ensuring that you are progressing through your treatment session at an appropriate pace. I would highly recommend Harrison PT as the therapists spend time with you to ensure that you are receiving appropriate treatment while clearly communicating to you every step of the way. The office is set up efficiently and you never feel that you are waiting for the next step. The results from my treatment were successful and have improved my lifestyle.
I dont know if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but I have had several P/T events over the years. Having recently moved to Dutchess County and having had double, total knee replacement, I need to find a new location. I did a lot of research and soon zeroed in on Harrison PT. I cant imagine having made a better choice. Brett is my therapist and he is just the best. Not only does he have the skills necessary for the healing portion, he general cares about you as a person, listens to your concerns and offers advice and understanding. I knew that I wanted to do both knees, but I wasnt sure what to expect. Harrison PT simply acknowledged it and dealt with it. My treatment has been ideal and, while I have no basis, they tell me I am ahead of the curve. I attribute a large part of that to them. I would be remiss if I didnt mention how the entire team interact flawlessly with all of the patients throughout the day. They keep track of you, keep you moving and motivated and simply work as a well oiled machine. Everyone in this office from office staff to therapists to therapist aides are friendly, helpful and compassionate. Kudos to Matt Harrison for founding this practice and putting all of the right people in place. Ive come a good ways but I still have a ways to go. I have no doubt that they will get me there. And one additional shoutout to Brett, I cant thank him enough. This is my followup post as I completed three months of P/T today and have been released. When I think back to hobbling in on my walker three months ago to where I am now, I am amazed.I can only emphasize what I said earlier. This entire team is amazing and, while my therapist was Brett, you are actually working with everyone there. I really dont have the words to what I want to say, they saved me! I was remiss in my initial post as I did not mention Heather the administrative assistant and insurance coordinator. She is so good at her job, she is patient and she is so personable. Thank you everyone !!!
I want to thank everyone at Harrison PT. It was a very positive experience from the front desk to PT assists to PTs. This group is very professional and were able to pinpoint my problem and worked immediately to relieve pain and for me to re-gain full motion. Brett Laffin was my main PT and I cannot say enough about his positive outlook, hard work and dedication. Thank you Brett and the Harrison PT Team. I will highly recommend this group to family and friends and my Primary Care Physician as well. Thank you again!!
I completed Physical Therapy at Harrison PT for Hip replacement surgery approximately two years ago. Recently, I had Rotator Cuff surgery and once again needed PT. Without hesitation I contacted Harrison PT to make an appointment with Bret who was the Therapist I saw for my hip surgery. Upon your first visit, the Therapist evaluates you, and then plans a strategy for your therapy/exercise program. They are always concerned about your aches and pains at each session and take the time to speak and work with you. Bret, Brian, April, and the other Therapists I observed working with other patients, as well as support staff are all very professional and caring individuals. This team functions very efficiently!
Harrison Physical Therapy is the ultimate in physical therapy. I have been to this office several times for different surgeries. Their level of knowledge, caring, and compassion is above and beyond. From the initial contact with the office to the physical therapists and assistants, you couldnt ask for anything better. They take the time to listen and make sure that they are creating the right program for each individual. On the very first day, they give you an individualized program for exercises to do at home. They are very accommodating with regard to scheduling appointments that are convenient for each person. My husband and daughter have been to this office, as well as my mother and brother.I tell everybody I know about them - even if they arent looking for a physical therapist! I would never hesitate to recommend them. As far as Im concerned, they are the best team around!!! I wouldnt go anywhere else. Thank you to everybody at Harrison Physical Therapy.
I am not the type of individual that is motivated to leave reviews but in this case Ive made an exception. Harrison PT was recommended to me by a friend who had the same surgery and I couldnt be more satisfied. The therapists are all top notch but I would like to give a special thanks to Liam, Alex and Brian. These three assistants work in unison to monitor all the patients individual programs and do a great job. The facility itself is bright and clean and dont want to forget Heather who makes scheduling a breeze.
By far the best physical therapy office around. I have been to Harrison PT to rehab from a variety of injuries and each time my recovery was amazing. I have had ACL reconstructions in both knees and was able to get back to playing sports in 6 months. The recovery was faster than what my surgeon had set for me. I highly recommend Harrison PT and have sent many friends and family their already.
I have endured various injuries in my life and have needed Physical Therapy on multiple occasions to get back to my daily activities, which include running and playing soccer. Harrison Physical Therapy is where I went to rehabilitate my knee after tearing my ACL and I would certainly go back if I have any injuries in my future. The entire staff was very respectful and the Therapists displayed that they truly cared about my feelings and they constantly went above and beyond to help me get better. My Physical Therapist was very polite and knowledgeable, always answered my questions and taught me multiple ways to prevent future injuries. I am back to doing the activities I truly enjoy. I would highly recommend Harrison Physical Therapy to any individual seeking professional and courteous care!
I selected Harrison PT based on online reviews, and they did not steer me wrong. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcome and taken care of. My primary therapist Jared was the best - knowledgeable, supportive, warm, and most important, interested in achieving results for me. I also interacted with virtually all of the staff during my several months of treatment and everyone was terrific and positive. Frankly, it was one of the highlights of the week to visit the team at Harrison PT. I will certainly try not to reinjure myself, but if I do, at least I know where to go!
Ive been to Harrison PT 3 different times and cans say enough good things about them. Everyone there is a pleasure to work with--from the therapists to the assistants to the administrative staff.Of course, they also know what theyre doing. They work carefully with patients and really understand whats going on with your specific condition. Theyre good at motivating you to commit to your PT exercises, and know when to draw the line between challenging you and pushing you too far.The office and main PT area are also immaculately clean and neat.
I saw Sean and Brian for my knee, and I cannot emphasize enough how helpful everyone in this office was. They are personable, they ask all the right questions, and they carefully plan a course of action for your individual needs. Their care and attention to detail will certainly put you on a road to recovery. My job requires extensive physical activity, and I’m finally back to having my full range of motion again. Thank you guys so, so much!!
I too selected Harrison based on reviews online, so I feel I must pass that along. For me, there are 3 things that I want from this type of service: (1) expertise, (2) time/attention, and (3) good customer service/social skills. Harrison delivers on all 3. Matt provides a great atmosphere for his patients and his team... let me put it this way, this is the place Id want to work at if I were in PT. A professional organization through and through, yet with the atmosphere of a family. Many thanks to all of them!
Thanks to the staff from the office right on through to the PT guys the experience was very welcoming and supportive. Biggest thanks to Brett for his informative and common sense approach to my therapy. If you think PT cant help, youre wrong. With the proper guidance and those simple exercises youll be amazed at your revitalization especially with the great staff at Harrisons.
I was only there a short time with pain in my right knee from arthritis and trying not to have a knee replacement. I found Harrison PT to be a great help. They all work together as a team and run a smooth clean friendly atmosphere . I was very please with Jareds help and plans on alleviating my pain. I hope I dont have to return but if the pain gets worst again I would return to Harrison PT.
My time at Harrison PT was extremely helpful. I couldnt ask for more from a physical therapy office. Each and every person on staff was kind, knowledgeable and helpful. Brett was terrific to work with and put together a program that had my back feeling as good as it has in years. I highly recommend Harrison Physical Therapy.
As a previously avid soccer player I have had my share of PT trips over the years for various issues. I have to say my time at Harrison PT was the best. I was challenged each day with exercises that seemed to test the areas I needed to work. After several weeks, I have regained full range of motion I hadnt had in 7+ years. Great team with just the right amount of push to keep you doing what you need to do without overworking. Highly recommended!
Fabulous! Beyond the level of therapy you receive, the therapists are amazing. Heck, the entire staff are... From Heather and Linda to Brett, Brian #1, Brian #2, and Krista (Olive is your color, girl)! I truly felt they cared about my routine and progress. They are definitely a team and do an excellent job. As a bonus, we chatted about restaurants, sports, and any other current events. Matt, thank you for taking care of me when Brett was out and Jared, thank you for all the tips on Greece.
I couldnt be happier with my experience at Harrison Physical Therapy! From my first phone call to my last visit, the whole staff was both professional and supportive of my individual treatment. Not only did I physically feel better after every appointment, but I also valued the personal education I was receiving. Night hours were very helpful. I would highly recommend Harrison Physical Therapy.
A skeptic converted.I had lingering back issues for several years. Visits to my primary care physician and orthopedic specialists and multiple sessions with their in house physical therapists which did nothing to ease the pain and discomfort left me a skeptic and unconvinced that PT was at all effective for my pain. I also visited a chiropractor who eased the pain temporarily, but it would always return, kicking off another round of visits. So I had come to accept that I was going to have to just live with pain for the rest of my life. It got worse beginning of this year. I took an awkward step and the pain got so bad that some days, it was hard just to get out of bed. I was avoiding putting any kind of weight/strain on my back and was walking gingerly for several weeks.Desperate... on the recommendation of some friends who had great experiences at Harrison PT. I made an appointment without much expectation. Insurance paid for 10 visits or 30 days without a prescription from my primary care physician so I figured I would just give it a go for that period.I knew things were different almost immediately. The initial consultation and diagnostics were much longer and detailed than any physician visit I had ever had. They really took the time to understand my issue, diagnosed it and explained the process to address it. The PT started on the same visit immediately after the consultation. The actual therapy was also quite different from my previous experiences. As I was going through the various stretches and exercises for each session, I never felt rushed or on any timetable. They made sure I completed each correctly and methodically. The Harrison PT room is a model of efficiency. While I was never rushed, the Harrison PT team operates with the teamwork and efficiency of a skilled NASCAR pit crew. I had personal attention for almost the entire visit each and every time. I didnt have a therapist... I had an entire team of therapists working on me.After 10 visits, I started feeling a whole lot better so I immediately had my primary write a prescription. Another 8 weeks, I was PAIN FREE! I am writing this review ~6 months after my last visit, and Im still PAIN FREE. Whats more important is that Harrison PT taught and gave me the tools to maintain a good, healthy back. These days, I am doing the stretches and exercises regularly. particularly when I am my feet all day, driving long distances or engage in any other activity that may strain my back, I have the tools/knowledge to help myself. So Im converted. PT works! You just have to have the right therapist(s). Harrison PT has a team of them.Based on my experience I would suggest the following.1) Do not let your primary care physician or specialist corral you into their in house PT. You have a choice. Take control of your health and find a PT who will work extra hard for you (obviously I recommend Harrison PT).2) There are no miracles or shortcuts. You have to put trust in your PT and perform all the exercises and stretches with the utmost effort. Make sure you do all the homework they assign you. The path to health is slow and steady with each step of the way building a solid foundation for the next.3) Think long term. Harrison PT will give you the tools you need to maintain a pain free life. Listen to them carefully and make use of what you have learned.
After tearing my ACL in both my right (2015) and left (2013) knees, I was sent to Harrison Physical Therapy. That has been the difference in my athletic career so far. As a sophomore in high school, Matt was able to adapt a program fit my needs as a higher level athlete. He and Julio were able to keeping working and focus in a program in which it is easy to get distracted. They were extremely professional, with a personal touch that made my experience unique. The equipment was state-of-the-art and in excellent condition. The facility is clean and provides ample space for any kind of therapy. I was lucky to have them as trainers and even luckier to have them as friends. I highly recommend anyone, old or young, in need of a physical therapist to go Harrison Physical Therapy in Fishkill, NY. I would also like to extend my personal thanks to Matt, Julio, Brent, Liam, and the entire staff for getting me on the right track for the remainder of my recovery.
Im not from the area but I couldnt find a business that accepted my insurance and my insurance company suggested Harrison PT. I was so pleased from the time that I scheduled my first appt over the phone with the receptionist. When I came in, I was presented a light amount of paperwork and the doctor came out almost immediately once I was finished filling it out. He was so helpful and polite and I was completely comfortable the entire time. Im looking forward to continuing treatment with Harrison PT.
I just finished 3 weeks of PT for my arm at Harrison PT. They did an absolutely amazing job, and my arm feels great! Matt and the rest of the team are all extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone makes you feel comfortable and helps you with your PT sessions. I highly recommend Harrison PT and would not go anywhere else!
Ive been to plenty of physical therapy practices in the Hudson Valley, but none come close to Harrison Physical Therapy. I grew up here in the area and was very involved in sports. Needless to say, Ive had my share of injuries. Of course the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, but its the direct contact that sets them apart. I go in for my session and Im with my physical therapist the whole time. He knows my injury and sees how much I progress each day. He knows just how much to push me or to back off for me to get back onto the field as soon as possible. Hes there for my questions too. He explains what I need to avoid or change to get the best results and stay healthy. The physical therapists really tailor the programs around your needs.
After going to a chiropractor to treat neck discomfort and getting no positive results, I made an appointment with Harrison Physical Therapy (HPT) with the hope that they could help me. My initial evaluation was with Matt Harrison. Within the first 5 minutes I could tell I came to the right place to get help. Matt spent an hour evaluating my condition and asked many questions. From the initial evaluation and throughout the time I was under the treatment of Matt and the HPT staff (approximately 5 months) I received nothing less than the highest level of quality care. The HPT staff showed the utmost interest in my well being. I felt 100% confident that the treatment plan and approach that Matt conducted on me would yield the best possible results. I am happy to say that I graduated and can now resume the activities that I always enjoyed prior to the neck issues which are gone thanks to HPT. If the need ever arises in the future where I need PT or just a minor adjustment, I would look no further than HPT.
Thank you to the entire staff for making my PT experience that much more pleasant! Everyone is so warm & friendly and make a great team.. Special thanks to my primary PT Brett Laffin who has been my PT on a few separate occasions. Brett is very knowledgeable, compassionate & helpful! I would highly recommend Brett and Harrison PT as the best PT facility around!!
I completed a 12 week program at Harrison Physical Therapy. I cannot say enough about the quality care I received. It is a friendly and professional atmosphere. Proactive and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them. Thank you Brett Laffin and the staff of Harrison Physical Therapy.
I had very complicated spinal surgery and Matthew was very careful about developing an individualized plan that was specific to my needs. Every staff member was professional and followed the plan and I did exceptionally well due to their care and expertise. I have now been able to return to full function in daily activities and am back at the gym. Thank you all! You were wonderful.
In 2007 I was about to have rotator cuff surgery so I went looking for a physical therapist within a15 mile radius of Garrison NY to rehab after my surgery in NYC. After making 5 phone interviews with various physical therapists in the area I felt most confident after speaking with Mathew Harrison of Harrison Physical Therapy. Today January 18th 2017, 10 years later, I completed my 4th surgical rehab with Harrison. Harrison has rehabbed me for 2 rotator cuffs and two-knee surgeries. Each and every time my rehab was a great success not only in my own opinion but also in the opinion of my doctor. Keep in mind that you are part of the success so, it is important to follow Harrison’s protocol. All the folks that work at Harrison are terrific and make you feel at home and never feel rushed. You will receive the care that will make your rehab a success – remember you are part of the success.“Harrison Physical Therapy is The Best of The Best”Thank You Mathew Harrison and Your Entire StaffRodney W Dow 2017
Harrison Physical Therapy is one of the best places I have been to. The staff is very professional, I received a very through evaluation. All the staff introduce themselves to you so everyone knows you. You never sit idle waiting for someone to help you. I have had a very positive experience at Harrison in Fishkill after coming from a poughkeepsie provider.
I dont normally write reviews, but I feel compelled after my exceptional experience. The therapist made me feel like he took a personal interest in my injury, seemed extremely knowledgeable, and was always able to clearly answer all my questions. I give Harrison Physical Therapy the highest of recommendations.
I went to Harrison with chronic pain in my hip and back. My physical therapist Jared correctly analyzed my pain and led me through 7 weeks of exercise to loosen and strengthen my hip/back. After 7 weeks I left with near to zero pain. Brian and Nick helped make sure I did the exercises correctly. I would highly recommend Harrison Physical Therapy to anyone who needs physical therapy.
I went to Harrison PT after having a knee replacent done. I want to especially thank my physical therapist Jared De Benedictus. He was so caring and knowledgeable. He made me feel comfortable and answered all of my questions.I appreciate all of the care and encouragement I received while there. If it wasnt forJared and all of the great staff I would not be walking as well as I am. Everyone there is wonderful and I appreciate all they had done for me. Thank you, Judy Schettino
My Husband and I came to Harrison PT pre knee replacements and post knee replacements. I have also had therapy for achilles tedonitis. We have always found all the therapists and therapy aides to be professional, kind, and expert physical therapists. We have recovered splendidly from our surgeries with full range of motion!!The staff ( Dorie, Linda) are also pleasant and will go out of their way to assist you. I was able to have out -patient PT less than 1 week after my knee replacement because they were willing to accomodate me. Matthew Harrison and his staff are pleasant, skilled physical therapists who place the patient first! Diane S. and Jack S.
My experience with Harrison Physical Therapy (HPT) was excellent from the very beginning, right up until my last visit. My physical therapist (PT) was Jared Debenedictus. Jared explained my PT plan thoroughly during our first session and each step of the way as we progressed through the following weeks. Jared was hands on and made sure that I was doing the PT exercise s correctly. I observed Jared throughout my weeks of PT with other patients of his as well. He treated each and every patient with the same attention to detail without exception. I should add that I also observed the other PT and support staff provide the same level of care to their patients. My experience with HPT and Jared (as mentioned above) was nothing less than extremely positive.Elliott Donchek
More than just a positive experience! From first visit to last, from front desk through treatment plan and exercise there is respect, compassion and encouragement. The staff are all highly knowledgeable, skilled and genuinely cheerful, providing all of the support and individualized attention needed to get to the best outcome. Especially on those rough and frustrating days, they offer not only empathy but upbeat reassurance :). I will definitely recommend this practice.
I went to Harrison Physical Therapy to work on the tendonitis I got from playing tennis. My only hope was to fix the problem and I was willing to sacrifice a lot to do it. I didn’t have to sacrifice anything. I was able to book appointments at the times that were best for me. They listened to my needs and gave me an individualized program that worked with my lifestyle. I was given personal instruction on how I could improve my condition on the days I didn’t have therapy. The staff is knowledgeable, kind, personable and keenly aware that a patients time is valuable. All of this at a convenient, clean and welcoming environment. I can’t thank them enough.
I have been a patient at this pt office twice, and the very first time i did not post a review so i thought it was time to do so. i have been working in the service industry for almost 28 years, and i still find it pretty special when people attend to my needs in a extremely professional and caring way.First injury was a calves tear, Matt was my pt and i felt comfortable with him immediately , he told me what the injury was, what to expect , and assigned a program to get me back playing tennis asap. In a couple of weeks i was on my way, what a great experience , everyone knows your name , everyone is interested in how you are progressing, and most importantly working in the hotel business, and having a very conflicting schedule my appointments were never an issue.Second injury sciatic nerve issue, this time my pt was Brett and yes i have to say i was a little disappointed not to have Matt ( the owner). I WAS WRONG,Brett was just as good, detailed , always there, listening to my sciatica up and down cries . What can i say , i hope not to be going back anytime soon, but if i have to this is the place to go ... Thanks a bunch
A very dedicated and professional team of therapists ... they show genuine interest in your full recovery with sensitivity to your daily post op aches and pains ... their programs not only return you to near full strength and range of motion, but help you build confidence in your ability to return to pain free living.... bravo to Matt and his team!
This place is amazing! super professional. Everyone is so attentive and making sure were all being taken care of on time. Brett is very knowledgeable and he really helped with my neck and shoulder to feel better. I was very stiff and I had no idea how off my body was due to the pain and stiffness. The team went above and beyond! thank you, sincerely Jackie
I came to Harrison Physical Therapy with an injury that occurred years ago. I always thought that I would have discomfort for the rest of my life. Being only eighteen with an active lifestyle and my whole life ahead of me it was something I was not willing to come to terms with and neither was Jared. With keeping goals of being able to run outside again in the back of our heads our road to recovery started. Even after the first week I could feel major differences in my every day life. Jared and everyone at Harrison is extremely knowledgable in what they do. For every question there was an answer. I always felt comfortable and received outstanding care with every appointment. Now, only a few months later im able to live the lifestyle I want and the first time in years where an ankle injury isnt slowing me down
On the cutting edge of their vocation in regard to treatment, professionalism and the facility. The staff works together, therefore providing continuous attention to the clients ensuring productive and successful results. Great ability to adapt amid the COVID crisis while still ensuring a healthy treatment environment in which to heal.
I have had trouble with my knee on and off for years and was skeptical that physical therapy was going to make much of a difference. I have never been so happy to be wrong. Thanks to Jared, Nicole, Brian and the entire staff there I am doing so much better. Thank you.
I cannot speak highly enough about my PT rehab at Harrison Physical Therapy after my total knee replacement surgery. I visited several Hudson Valley PT Centers, but Harrison had most professional feel. My therapist was Brett Laffin and I was very impressed with his knowledge and his ability to grade the exercises as we progressed.I teach White Crane Kung Fu, so it was important for me to get back my lower body movement as quickly as reasonable. Brett had a great program mapped out which we would adjust each session. Through his guidance I was able to regain my knee range of motion and strength in a remarkably short time period.I would highly recommend Harrison PT and Brett Laffin to anyone needing an excellent Physical Therapist. Im going for my next knee replacement in the fall of 2022 and I will certainly be back at Harrison PT. John Jackson

2022-01-25Harrison PT is a very professional provider with staff that is courteous andprofessional, starting with the office staff, the PT aides, and the PT Professionals. My PT was Nicole Casella. Nicole is highly knowledgeable in her field and she was able to help me with the pain from my sciatica. I highly recommend her and if the need arises, I will not hesitate to receive her services again.

2022-05-10Very knowledgeable staff that work with you to identify issues and prescribe the best physical therapy treatment for your needs and abilities. Billy was my assigned PT (for 2 months) and he was professional, knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. He showed that he cared for his patients and their recovery; willing to listen. My first in PT and it was a great experience. Id recommend this facility to anyone and rate it a 5 (cleanliness and up-to-date). The staff work as a team ... reason for their success ... a 5+.

2022-01-28I have used Harrison PT at least four times for physical therapy. They are a top notch outfit. Matt, Brett and all the therapists are professional, courteous and caring individuals who work with you to get you back on your feet. The office is clean, bright and very well run. Very punctual; 10 am is 10 am, not 10:15 or 10:30! Truly the best in the Hudson Valley

2022-01-06I have had many times where I had to have physical therapy for different areas of my body. Each time I return to Harrison Physical Therapy for my therapy needs. This last visit was for my left hip replacement done Nov. 2021. The staff and therapists are always very cordial. Special thanks to Shawn for giving massages and exercises that made me stronger each day so I could return to my active lifestyle. I also like the new location.

2022-04-18I cant say enough great things about Harrison PT and how incredibly skilled the staff are! Aside from that they are all caring and friendly with every patient who walks through their door. My first experience at Harrison PT was in 2019 when I went there following a hip replacement surgery. From my first day there, I knew that this was the right choice to begin my recovery. My physical therapist as well as other members of the staff got me back on my feet within about 2 months and I cant thank them enough! This past February, I needed pt for a bad fall injuring my right shoulder and arm. Harrison PT came through once again! Billy Sablinski was my therapist and he is awesome!! The support staff are also top notch! Thank you Harrison PT once again!

2022-01-27I completed 14 sessions for a post-surgical pinched nerve in my back. I worked mostly with Brett who was very professional and thorough and gave GREAT massages. The staff worked well together. I have been in PT several times before and this was my best all around experience.

2022-04-25Just finished up my PT at Harrison Physical Therapy. I found Chris as well as the rest of the team to be very kind, caring and knowledgeable. I am beyond happy with the results of my therapy for a rotator cuff issue that had been plaguing me for years. Hopefully I wont need to return, but if I ever do, I wont hesitate to go back to Harrison. Very highly recommended!

2022-06-22I started physical therapy here in March after surgery for a fractured clavicle. Three months later, I’m happy to be healed, but genuinely sad to be done. My therapist, Sean, provided cheerful company and expert treatment. He was attentive to the nuances of my injury, clear and sensible when answering questions and addressing concerns, and a staunch advocate for my recovery. That last part is important, since it takes some effort on the part of the PT to prevent an insurance company from foreshortening your treatment. I’ll miss working with Sean and the whole staff — everyone at the front desk and helping out on the floor made the experience pleasant. Recovering from an injury sucks, but Harrison made it so much easier for me.
