The people there are very friendly. The restaurant is clean. Some of the food leaves a lot to be desired. The fried rice has no flavor... It doesnt matter if I order pork, beef, or chicken. There is no SALT, onions or egg in the rice either. Its very disappointing. And the prices are much higher than other places I go to. The other places that I go to, the food is actually tastes Way better and doesnt cost as much. They are the only Chinese place in the area, so I guess they dont feel the need to do better. By my job, there is an exceptional Chinese place. But I dont work on weekends...I dined in last week with my mom and 2 brothers from out of state, and they got my order wrong and gave me something spicy, which made me sick.Even if I wanted to tell you not to go there, where else would you order from?
I got takeout here while hanging out at a nearby friends house because we wanted Chinese food quick. I ordered mapo tofu and by the time we got there 10 minutes later our food was already done! The food itself was very average Americanized Chinese food, it wasnt bad though. I enjoyed my mapo tofu, it was perfect for my Chinese food craving. Overall, if you want a typical American-Chinese food meal, this is a great option!
This is our go to Chinese for delivery. They make the fried rice with no onions, etc. which is how my husband prefers it. Their egg rolls and lo mein are the best Ive had. Their delivery is always quick and friendly. We get the General Tsos extra crispy and its perfect. Crab rangoons, dumplings, fried wonton, boneless spare ribs its all delicious.
Prices are decent, staff is friendly...Only giving 3 stars bc of their coupon policy...I just ordered $37.72 worth of food, asked for the free wontons since the total was over $30.00. They told me they cant do that bc I have a lunch special of $5.95 in the order. I asked, Say I ordered over $100.00 worth of food and only had 1 lunch special in the order we still wouldnt be able to get anything? The owner said - No you cant because you have a lunch special included in the order. Are you flipping serious??? When a customer orders an amount of food over the coupon amount before the lunch special order is included you should honor the coupon. Ive been in the restauarant and bar business for a very long time and this is ridic....Special note to Hau Po: The company I work for has over 1,500 employees within 9 buildings in the Hauppauge Industrial Park. My building alone has over 20 employees who order chinese at least once a wk. Being cheap to your customors will only hurt your business...
I ordered a chicken wings and I guess the owner became upset because I was standing up to wait for my order as opposed to sitting down. She instructed the cook in their language to just put the chicken on the plate and give it to me. As a result the wings were undercooked. When I realized this I simply threw the meal out.
Was impressed with online method and ease of ordering...MY FEELING COMPLETELY CHANGED WHEN FOOD ARRIVED!! wrong item sent...called...employee chose to argue with me instead of trying to rectify...not one item had any seasoning...though food was fresh it was completely BLAND and TASTELESS...there was no sesame sauce on cold sesame noodles!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

2022-05-20Very good food. Have tried a large variety of items over the years and everything is always really good. Never had a bad meal here. The delivery is fast and easy and never had an incorrect order arrive. We have been ordering from here for at least 10 years and they continue to be our favorite. We have no less than 3 other Chinese places closer to us but come here because they are the best. Highly recommend.

2019-02-20Very Good & Delicious!Great Chinese takeout place in a small strip mall.- I have ordered the lunch, combo specials, appetizers and dinners. I usually pick up because I live and work in the area, so it is faster for me.They always give us free items- whether it is Soup- Shrimp Fried Rice, Fried dumplings, egg rolls etc..It is always appreciated.Recommended: Spicy Shrimp w/red chili sauce; Salt & pepper Shrimp; Kung Pao chicken/ shrimp; Chicken/ Shrimp with string beans; Extra spicy Shrimp fried rice with hot oil ; Chicken with garlic sauce; House Special Lo Mein; Their Chicken wings are Extra crispy & believe it or not- their crinkle cut french fries are hot and crispy

2020-09-12This place has gotten worse and worse over the years. The menu had one price yet I was charged sooo much more. Ordered a small scallops in lobster sauce, which was all sauce - smelled terrible and it had peas and carrots in it. I had to drive back and they only gave me a partial refund. They wouldnt even take the food from me as they were afraid of Covid. What a poor operation. From now on, everyone should go to China Garden right up the block. They are a million times better!

2019-02-07Lunch special came out to $8 and I felt that is higher than the average lunch special and the portion wasn’t very big. Food was OK
