Bringing a vehicle in for normal service at Healey is a pleasant chore. You are greeted promptly and the waiting area provides video in a seating area, or more separate bistro tables or a counter for using a laptop. Some hot beverages and snacks are available and I have had detailed videos and personal explanations of car condition with no-pressure suggestions for might-be needed items.
Zwade is the best! I saw a brand new Kia Sportage on the Healey Kia website and immediately contacted him to see if it was spoken for yet. I went there a day later and immediately fell in love with the car. We worked some numbers and eventually came back a couple days later to buy it. The process was fantastic as he walked me through the insurance, payments, and the unique car features. I would highly recommend going to see him and what Healey Kia has to offer.
Highly recommend Healey Kia and Krissy Sciascia. Shes so sweet and patience. I went in to trade in my ford for Kia Seltos. We went back again last week to trade in my husbands car. Krissy made the whole process so easy for us. Ive never had such a pleasant experience in any other car dealership. Thank you Krissy!!!
We have been Healy customers since 2002, our family having purchased 12 vehicles from their dealerships.Our most recent purchase at Healey Kia I(and our familys fourth at this dealership) was a fast, pleasant and painless experience, thanks in no small part to the efforts Krissy Sciascia. Pleasant, polite and professional, she answered all our questions, got all the admin work done quickly, and made us feel like valued friends, rather than just customers. Awesome experience!! i went in looking for a pre-owned car, instead of showing me everything they had James figured out my budget and found the perfect car for me. The process was easy, there was never a doubt about a thing! Greg the finance manager went over everything with me thoroughly & I picked up the car same day!! Zwade at Kia healey is amazing! If you need someone that’s incredibly thorough and doesn’t waste any time, who is kind and on top of things definitely go to him! They got me into my jeep the same day, and gave me a good amount for my trade in. They replaced my windshield within a few days no charge on the new car due to the previous owner scratching it. They were on top of it and i couldnt Be happier. They even drove me to my job down the road since i didnt Have a ride.Awesome place!!
My husband and I drove by yesterday and I fell in love with a black kia sorrento 2022. Today we went to see it and test drive at healy kia,its an awesome suv. We met our salesman Randy. He was very professional. We have purchased many vehicles in the past at different locations however Randy stood out today and made us feel at home he was not pushy and listened. He explained the whole process of from beginning to the end. He went above and beyond although this sale did not happen, when our lease is up we would definitely return to purchase a car and ask for Randy.We highly recommend kia healy and definitely ask for Randy. One of the worse service depts I’ve ever dealt with. Since I bought the car new it’s given me nothing but problems and there service dept doesn’t make it any better.Update:I decided to update my rating from 1 to 4 because I was impressed with the swift response to the initial review. I wasn’t expecting that. Most companies do no respond and/or even willing to listen.James and I had a good conversation and through that communication I walked away satisfied.I will note that yes I had some not ok experience there in service but even through that the employees have always been cordial and professional. That is a plus.Thank you James and team.
I reached out to this dealership on Monday interested in one of their Kia Fortes. I’m shopping for my daughter she has a strict budget. I clearly let them know up front I don’t want to waste anyones time if you’re charging over MSRP not interested. I speak with Brian alleged sales manager, car available needed to confirm if my daughter likes the color he saysokay call me back we will discuss price. I call back on Tuesday a lovely young lady named Diamond tells me Brian is not available and transfers me to Austin. Here is where the problem begins. He tells me they are asking $2000 over MSRP told him didn’t want to pay that, Austin then tells me it will only be an extra $40 per month for the $2000. I then tell him it’s not about $40 it’s about the $2000. First Off I wasn’t asking for loan advice and the car was going to be paid in cash which he never asked. I left that conversation feeling disrespected an I feel Austin was condescending with his take it or leave it demeanor. He clearly needs training with his interpersonal communication skills.
What a great experience. Nick Tobar took such great care of us and went above what I expected. Today my wife left so happy and that made my cup full. Mark in finance was a step above as well. Such a pleasure to talk with and do business with. Thank you Healey Kia for making a bad situation great.
Went in looking to possibly buy a new vehicle, spent 15 mins in the show room and walking around the lot looking at cars. Not one person approached me, didn’t look like they were properly staffed. Going to try other dealerships in the area. Pretty disappointing to be honest.
Terrible disgusting and you see the date I have never experienced the rudest take advantage will not share credit reports on certified cars and if theres something wrong with the report they will block you so you have to go bananas if you want to follow through my car stunk from day one and on the report it had to be cleaned twice while it was back in their shop so-called business with nobody using it and when I asked why of course the back hairs go up and the attitude changes and this is all before covid what really got me is my father claimed finkel was his friend did not work with us at all
My family and I just moved to Amber Field’s in Late August 2020. We wanted to service our current KIA vehicles through Healy. Being we’ve moved away from NYC. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left. We’ve had excellent customer service experiences. Then I said “I can only imagine the sales end experience”. So I took that step and met with Nick Tobar. I explained my situation. He assured me he will do his best to help me. Nick by far was hands down the mostdown to earth, patient & knowledgeable salesman I’ve ever known. When I thought it was going south. He reassured me it’ll be alright. So now thanks to Nick. My daughter K5 2022, son Optima 2020 and myself trade /sold 2 cars. Our great amazing representative was Krissy Sciascia. She was very professional, welcoming, accommodating, flexible and honest. She worked my children as if they were her children. Gave all options just not selling a car. Im looking forward to taking my other daughter and possibly co-workers. Will do it all again only with her.

This was my second time at Kia. I worked with Krissy both times. Krissy is very knowledgeable and very efficient. She made sure I got what I wanted, she made the whole process quick and easy. Overall the staff and the environment are awesome. I won’t go to anyone else.
Had a check engine light on my 2021 Kia k5. Called Healy Kia to get an appointment set up at the Newburgh location. Asked to put in the notes not to wash the car due to ceramic coating. Had my car towed to the Newburgh location never received a call that the car arrived or that the car was ready to be picked up. I just went to the dealership the next day to pick up my car, even though nobody let me know it was ready. As they pulled the car in I noticed it was washed. I went to the service desk counter and asked for a manger. A lady asked what’s the matter ? I explained that my car was washed and that you guys just voided my warranty for my ceramic coating. She told me that she highly doubts one wash would void my warranty. I asked for the corporate phone number and have called multiple times and haven’t heard back from anyone. Healy Kia can’t follow simple instructions and refuse to deal with a mistake they made. 0 stars if I could horrible customer service.
HONESTLY THE BEST DEALERSHIP! After having a bad experience with another dealership I was scared to go here but from the start they were all so great. CJ helped me so much and I was finally able to get my first car. He explained EVERYTHING so well and was super patient and went above and beyond to find me the best deal. I would 100% go to this dealership again. ASK FOR CJ HE’S THE BEST!
The worst! Received a quote...messages left....calls not returned.....called again s/w manager told me the salesmans getting married. He answered my questions, confirmed car availability, gave me a quote and reserved it for me. Had me fill out credit check info. Texted my license and insurance info to him. Did not hear back from Healy for 3 days. E-mailed James....never heard back. Called 4 days later. His personnel never sent me information to leave downpayment. He confirmed that the car was still reserved for me said he would straighten out the downpayment info.Promised to call me back in 5 minutes. That was 3 days ago!!!!!!Would give no stars if I could.
Justin and Maggie assisted me in buying my car. Justin was great and didn’t rush me or pressure me into any car, like a lot of dealers do, I felt like I could take my time making the best possible choice. Once we figured out the best fit for me, Maggie assisted me in the purchase. I can honestly say I walked away with the perfect car for me and it’s in my budget. Very happy I decided to look at cars at this dealership.
Went there to have my check engine light inspected and after a week of being they they said I need an oil change and tire rotation… $260.49. Less then 24hrs later my cars engine died. They said tow it to another dealership and we’re not refunding you the money. Was going to buy a new car from them decided to leave this review instead.
I bought a certified used Kia from this dealership. I traveled 2 hours from Hartford, Ct. in order to do business with this dealership. I am very happy I did so. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. The price of the car was excellent and the customer service my family received when we arrived was TOP NOTCH. The staff made buying the car a seamless transaction.
Where to start! For starters, their selection is huge. The site itself is very clean and professional feeling yet it feels easy to be comfortable in. The biggest point was, for me, the immaculate service that I was given from their awesome employees! When my father and i walked in, we were extremely anxious due to my late mothers car dying and us losing it, so it was especially hard on my father for getting a new car. The Saleswoman that took us, Tia Clemenza, she was amazing. She not only helped us with adding the car to our insurance policy and helping us get the car as an entirety. The biggest part she stood out for me was her personality and the fact that she kept my fathers mind more focused on the small talk she had with him and they both spoke about dogs and he was genuinely laughing and smiling, which wasnt something i often saw. Along with that, when we purchased our car, she and a co-worker drove the car back to my familys house which is 15 minutes away and I know they didnt do it because they had to, but because the two workers had a love of helping people feel good! Along with this, Greg, who is the Financing Manager of Healey Kia, helped us get the policy that fit our budget and also supplied us with a huge amount of help as far as insurance plans go and also helped us zoom through all of the paperwork. He also helped keep my Dads mind off the more saddening parts he was thinking about by talking about the Giants and Jets football teams and just being an overall nice guy. The General Manager, James Barrett, is a great person and helps lead the positive and caring attitude that Healey Kia supplies and is extremely nice to everyone! I am so thankful we decided to go to Healey Kia for our Cheverolet Cruze and I would highly recommend this place to everyone thats looking to purchase quality products from quality people!
Drove a little over 2 hours cause they had the specific k5 ex I have been searching for months for! 1,000,000 times over I would do it again in a heartbeat. Worth the drive, the experience was great. Zwade helped me out & was amazing!! The whole staff there is great!Being in sales myself here are things I always look for: customer service, honesty, good intentions, great products & value are a MUST and this place has it all!

Wow! If you are thinking of buying a car during this quarantine this is the place. We got such a great deal on the Kia Seltos lease, but in addition to that it was the easiest car deal ever. The general manager called to do the deal so there was not going back and forth and he is very straight forward. I could tell he just wanted to make the deal if possible with no usual car dealer BS. I even got what I wanted for my trade sight unseen (a little more than I expected actually). 10 minutes on phone - deal is done. Applied online. 3 hours later got a call from Mark who says we are approved and sets a time for the next morning to turn our trade and pick up the new car. We are happy with the deal and the payment. When we get there to sign he tells us he got us a little lower payment after arguing with Kia Finance. That was so unexpected and unnecessary since the deal was done. Just like that we are in a 2021 car with the lowest car payment we have ever had. Thank you Healey Brothers Kia! --also they give a military discount which we really appreciate.
Service experience outstanding. So much better than the scammy Kia dealer in Kingston where I unfortunately bought the car. Nice waiting area, free water and chips, clean restroom. Intake very efficient and quick. Car ready exactly when they said it would be. Reasonably priced service multi-packs. They even sent me a video showing the technician going over the car. Very impressed.
I just entered into my second lease with the folks at Healey Kia, and I honestly dont think that I could feel more taken care of. This was my second time working with Jason, and he once again impressed me with how knowledgeable and patient he was throughout the transaction. Mostly, I appreciated how he listened - I didnt feel like I was being pressured or sold more than I needed, I just felt like he was doing his best to get me into the best car for my situation. I highly recommend the folks at Healey Kia - from Jason on the sales floor to the fabulous folks in the service department - because I have consistently had a great experience there.

My experience at Healey Kia was the complete opposite of the one I had with their competitor across the Hudson River, Dutchess Kia (DK). I purchased my Kia at DK in August 2019 and had it serviced there twice. Displeased with my experience there (see my review of DK for details), I decided to take my Kia to Healey for the next scheduled warranty service appointment: 15,000 miles.From the moment I drove my Kia Sportage into Healey Kias modern, airy, welcoming service facility, I was treated to a level of service that in centuries past only monarchs received. The representative, John, listened intently to my needs and requests, and then when the service began my wife and I were invited to watch the service via a streaming camera. While I had no interest in watching people work on my car, I truly appreciate Healeys efforts at demystifying the process and creating transparency.I was able to schedule the appointment online, and Healey performed the service quickly and efficiently, and when I picked up the car, they had even washed it for me. Indeed, if these two Kia dealerships and service shops were hotels, Healey Kia would be the Waldorf-Astoria, and Dutchess Kia would be Motel 6.My experience with Healey Kia in Newburgh was so positive that I now wish Id bought my Kia there instead of DK. If you live in Dutchess County or the east side of the Hudson River and are considering buying a Kia, do yourself a favor: drive over to Healey Kia in Newburgh. Yes, it might be an additional 15-20 minutes from where you live, but the dealership is cleaner, theres more parking, there are places to shop nearby, and the service department is clean, modern, transparent and efficient.Remember, too, that when you buy a new car, the service department is the arm of the dealership that youre going to deal with the most for 5-10 years. Dont make the mistake of getting a room at Motel 6 like I did with DK; check in to the Waldorf-Astoria. Youll be glad you did. I was beginning to have buyers remorse over my purchase because I bought it at DK, but Healey Kia has restored my faith in Kia.
This place is amazing! We were looking for our very first car and selected this spot, and I’m glad we did. The process was made very simple for us! When we first arrived we were met by Tia, who is a sales rep. She provided great customer service and focused on our needs. We were then met by credit specialist Manny A. Where we discussed some details about credit, pricing, and down payments. Manny was extremely nice and understanding! He always puts the customer needs first! We had to submit someDocuments before returning to the dealership for our next visit. Before our second visit came, we were called by Kristy who works at the dealership. We discuss options based off what we can afford and scheduled our next visit. We we’re scheduled to come in the very next day where we were met by Manny again. Manny and Kristy had a vehicle in mind in which we could afford and may be interested in. Upon arriving and speaking to Manny, we were given the opportunity to test drive the vehicle in which we discussed. Manny was super professional and very courteous as always! He let us take the vehicle for a test drive. We loved the way the vehicle drove! So smooth! The mileage was low and the vehicle had all the features we needed and the best part was the affordability of the vehicle. After completing the test drive we met up with Manny again to discuss payments, etc. we discussed the numbers and it worked for us. Manny was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about meeting our needs! He never gave up on us and went the extra mile to make sure we could find a vehicle that was fit for us. Manny walked us through every step of the way and did not hesitate to answer any questions if needed. We were able to drive off with the vehicle we wanted thanks to Manny and the staff at Healey Kia! I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone thinking of buying or leasing a vehicle! They know exactly what they are doing and will work with you every step of the way. Took my daughter to look at a car yesterday at the Healey Kia location. Salesman was Pete Finkle. Pete was very knowledgeable and let us know everything we needed to know about the car good and bad. Never pressured in any way. Such a wonderful experience from what you normally get at a car dealership. Mark got us a great warranty to put my mind at ease. Just a really great dealership with honest friendly people. Highly recommended getting a car there.

This is my second purchase with Healey Brothers and the best experience I ever had! Jason worked very hard for me considering my credit wasn’t the best... but he went above and beyond and got me EXACTLY what I wanted! I do not like car shopping. Salesmen and I dont normally get along as I am the quiet type and usually get lost within their sales pitches. HOWEVER, I have proudly told my co-workers and family members that they should seek a car at Healey Kia because both the representative and the finance rep were amazing. NOTICE: I would not refer to them as salesmen as their demeanor was more about just being honest. They were professional with explaining the features of the car I was interested in, as well as the presentation of the car itself (the representative drove the car around to us, opened the hood and doors and explained all the features prior to going for a test drive). We went home and decided to purchase the car and upon return was greeted with a friendly hand, and patient explanation of our payments, trade in, warranty, etc. (The sales representative actually came in on his day off to meet with us). If youve purchased a car before you know what its like when you are seated in front of the Finance Department. However, this Finance Representative was honest, kind, patient no matter how many times we asked him to explain the service plans again. I would highly recommend this dealership to everyone. It was the most pleasant, easy going transaction of a car purchase EVER! Thank you Healey Kia Representatives. Kudos to you!!!!!

Went car shopping over Labor Day weekend. Looked at several suv models. Stopped here on that Sunday. Saw a couple of sportages that caught my eye. Jason came right out to assist us. He was,very pleasant and explained and worked numbers. Showed us a couple of models. However it was very late in the day and I didnt get to test drive one. Continued car shopping on Tuesday. Called first and spoke to Jason to see if the one suv I liked was still on lot. It was, but was in showroom. So we came back and had a chance to test drive it. I loved it. Jason again was very pleasant and helpful. We went through him and bought the suv. We now own a 2020 Kia Sportage LX. 🤗 If anyone is in the market for buying a car I recommend to see Jason Horaz.

I had such a great experience with Healey Kia. I had gone in with very little hope that I would be able to get into a newer vehicle due to my credit. There is an AMAZING special finance manager there named Jason. He sat down with me for nearly three hours going over all the ins and outs and how to get me in a newer car. Well he did it! He was so kind, and listened to all I had to say. Very well mannered and professional.

John and the Kia team helped me get into a car when mere days ago I thought that was impossible and they didn’t screw me over just to get me in a vehicle. I accompanied my son with the entire process of the purchase of his first car.. We made our initial appointment online to look and test drive the car he eventually purchased. We met with John Knecht and he was very informative courteous and friendly. He asked questions to get an idea of what we were looking for and how much my son wanted to pay monthly. He understood that we just started looking and didn’t pressure us into anything. He offered his services to us even if we went another avenue. A few weeks went by before my son decided that he wanted the Lexus. He called and requested another appointment and made sure that it was with John because he was taken back by his kindness and knew that he could trust him just after the first meeting. As expected John went out of his way to smooth the transaction. In a short time, my son had the keys to his first purchased car and a huge smile based on the excellent service that was given to him by John
Ive had experience with dealers and this is one of the best! Friendly staff that is extremely helpful. After buying a few new vehicles this was my first time leasing. I did a lot of research online first so when I got there I would be prepared to haggle my heart out. Turns out, I didnt need to. I was realistic with my price expectations and when I told them what I had found they essentially said, Thats a good starting point. Lets see how we can do better. And they did! Great staff. Great service. Everyone Ive met at Healy Kia is friendly and professional. I bought my car there two years ago, and am always pleased whenever I need to go back in. I just went for an inspection and to service my car recently; the Service Advisor Kori was welcoming and informative. As well as Joe, who made a video of my car inspection. Nice touch! I had a great experience with Tia from Healey Kia. She was very knowledgeable, straight forward and easy to talk to. I wasnt sure which car I wanted so she put the two I chose side by side and did a full run down and comparison. Negotiations where quick and painless. I drove off the lot with the car Ive always wanted and traded in my old car, all in about 3 hours. I will absolutely recommend Tia to my friends and family.
I had an idea of what I wanted, but it was my first time purchasing a car all by myself. These guys made it easy and as quick as possible. I basically bought the car over the phone. James sent me a video of the car, and had everything all set up for me to test drive it. Once I drove the car I fell in love, did the paperwork and walked out with the car in a few hours. Healey did a wonderful job servicing my vehicle. I had to drop it off early due to issues with my schedule and Healey was able to finish my car before my scheduled appointment time without me asking. They also sent me a thorough video of my vehicle while they were evaluating it so that I could see the status of my car while running errands. The service people were very friendly and professional. I would recommend the service team without a doubt.
I had the absolute BEST experience at Healey Brothers Kia this afternoon. The process was so quick and easy. I worked with Maggie Ostrow and Tia Clemenza, who were able to get me into a 20 Kia Forte LXS, when I had unexpected issues with my 09 Dodge Caliber. This was my first experience purchasing a new car and what an experience it was. Maggie got the process started and finished for me so quickly and efficiently. Easiest car buying experience of my life! Manny’s customer service level exceeds 5 stars, he was kind, honest and worked so hard in finding me the best financing options in less than a day, which wasn’t an easy task due to not so perfect credit. He always picked up my calls and was so friendly and helpful. Purchased from here in January 2020. It showed on my carfax it received an alignment and tire rotation. Within 5 months my vehicle needed another alignment and tire rotation. Than was told the subframe was bad when I brought it to Alignment world because again it needed another set of tires and alignment. Now Healey tells me its basically my fault the subframe is bad? So I need 3 alignments and tire rotation within a year? 🤨 I will never purchase or lease a vehicle from here again and I will discourage anyone who wants to go here.

Every time my vehicle needs maintenance, the shop is fast and thorough, and they send me a video of the services performed. My salesperson this time around was Zwade- he was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He made himself available for me even on his day off! Not too many parking spaces in front of the showroom. They have many other non Kia vehicles there. My salesman, Jason, was very efficient in explaining and pricing out the options of leasing/purchasing a vehicle. However, there was no actual vehicle to look at. All staff that I interacted with were friendly and professional, even on this busy last Saturday of the month. Jason advised me that Healey Brothers has several other car dealerships in the area, so Jason had other suggestions for me. I found that very impressive.
Terrible experience. At first I went in there and the salesman seemed great but I later learned that he lied to me about some things. He also pressured me into buying the car then and there when it was my first day at any car dealership as I just recently got my license. They also called me continuously too many times way too soon when I told them I needed time to think about what I wanted. They even tried calling my fathers number. I ended up blocking the numbers they have and apparently they have more than I thought cause I just got a call again from them today. I would not recommend going to this dealership.

I had been taking my car for service to the Healey Hyundai in Beacon because it was right up the road from my apartment, but now I will only take my car to Healey Kia. The new facility is great, modern and clean. The staff is friendly and efficient. While I waited, I was greeted by pretty much every staff member who passed me. The car was done quickly and they even vacuumed out my front two seats. This is a company that goes above and beyond and really takes care of its customers. I will definitely continue to bring my car here for service and my husband plans to buy a car from them in the future.
I purchased my 2020 KIA completely online from Healey Kia! What a wonderful experience it was.I am a previous Kia owner, from another dealership, my lease was up and I knew I wanted the same model, the Kia Sportage.I looked at Healey Kia’s website and found the perfect vehicle. I selected the vehicle I wanted, customized my paymentfilled in the next screen, submitted the form and they contacted me right away. I spoke to a vehicle specialist to go overwhat I wanted in my vehicle and to make sure it was the one for me. I knew I wanted to lease again so they directed me tothe finance tab on their website. I completed the online finance application and the finance manager contacted me to workout the numbers. After we worked out the details they sent me the pricing and I sent them my credentialsand they did all the paperwork. When they were finished they scheduled a time to bring the vehicle to me.My new Sportage was brought to my workplace. It was just as beautiful as the photos on their website. I signed all the paperwork,got a quick tour of the vehicle and I was finished. The easiest vehicle I ever purchased!!!! Ive been trying to buy a car for two years now. Long story short I didn’t have the best credit and no dealer I went to would approve me for something that wasn’t total junk with an insane rate. Healy Kia got me into a 2016 Nissan rouge, a vehicle I’ve been fantasizing about for almost a year, with no problem at all. My monthly payment for my vehicle including the highest warranty coverage possible and all of the routine maintenances covered for the length of my loan AND my State Farm insurance cost me $467/month. You can’t beat that. Mark and Jason were extremely helpful and made my first financing experience easy with no funny business. I highly recommend them if you have “fair” credit like I did.

Courtesy shuttle just tried to run me off the road on I-84 and continued to tailgate and drive aggressively almost causing an accident. Hope there wasnt a customer in the vehicle.Response from the owner:We allowed a client to utilize the vehicle as a loaner car today due to being out of rentals. We appreciate the info, but would ask that you remove the rating due to the circumstances. Thank you.My reply:I will not remove the original post because I dont know if the owner just wants to cover for an employee or just doesnt want the bad publicity. But either way Healey Kia is responsible for who they let drive their vehicle with their business information on the side.
I initially went into Healey Kia to take a look at the Kia Seltos. Peter Finkel met me right away and was able to immediately spend time with me. I asked a ton of questions and he was happy to answer each one and then got me the key for a test drive. I can honestly say I have never dealt with someone at a car dealership as professional and knowledgeable as Peter. Although I didnt buy the car at that point I knew I would only buy from Peter. I went back a week later and found the perfect Kia for me. Once again Peter was happy to take the time and show me the features and differences between the one I saw initially and the one I actually purchased. Either person I would work with again. We dealt with Manny on financing the vehicle and he found us a vehicle that worked within our budget and the year that we wanted to go with. And believe me with our credit that is very hard to do.. so when the ads say they can work with anyone .. they truly will and can work with anyone.. and it wasnt a pressure buy we looked at the vehicle and looked it over and it was perfect for our needs.We definitely found our new dealership.. Predatory marketing. They lie in their marketing to get people in the door. Do not trust them. I went for a guaranteed prize, then they say that I did not win, although I was a guaranteed recipient. When I physically go in, they check the numbers and say I get a 100 dollar gift card, if I give away all my information. Sorry, this is unfair and do not trust them for future sales.

The Sales and finance staff couldnt be more accommodating with my indecisive personality and when I called to set up my 1st service appointment I couldnt believe how thorough and kind they were... you never see that from a service department! Not as professional as the other views are making them to be. I SCHEDULED an appointment to get an oil change dove an hour away from home only for them to lie and tell me I never scheduled an appointment, just because they were busy. Called when I got home just to make sure that I wasn’t wrong and one of the other workers told me my appointment was scheduled for today and that I missed it. very unprofessional of them to lie like that.
We were casually browsing for a car for our daughter. We had no idea what brand we wanted. We came upon Healey Kia & met Jason Horaz, and it just clicked. He took the time to get to know what we wanted (even though we weren’t quite sure). He listened patiently as we went back and forth about the pros & cons of each car we looked at. Me and my wife were looking for a new Car because she totaled our Chrysler. There are so many great dealerships around the area. But if you have bad credit dont waste your time! I went to Thruway Nissan and they treated me and my wife like garbage, I remember the guy that was dealing with us told both of us and I quote , Pay your bills on time very loud infront of other customers so we just left. Then we tried MotorWorld in Wilkes-Barre PA don’t waste your time with them either! They act like they want to help you out a but once they find out your credit score is low they don’t want to deal with you. So we went to enterprise car sales the same thing broken promises. We kind of gave up hope until I was told about Healey brothers so I filled out and application the next day Krissy calls us and transfers us to Manny Aviles in finance. Let me say that man is the most honest person that we’ve dealt with. He told us he would get us into a car , I didn’t believe him because of my last experience. I sent over the paperwork he asked for and he got right to work. He did not give up on us at all he called banks all over until he finally got us approved for a car. Not only did he get us approved, he got us into a brand new 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander. He made us feel like we we’re family and to be honest I couldn’t be any happier to be apart of the Healey Brothers Kia family. Back in October my husband and I were looking to downsize from a minivan since our children are all grown now. Jason Horaz got us into a Subaru Forester that takes on the snowy roads like a champ!! Excellent service, I was losing hope as every other dealership I went to was giving me false promises and denying me. But salesman Nick Tobar worked harder and cared more than any other car salesman Ive ever dealt with, and it wasnt the fake caring concerned car salesmen con artist you usually deal with. After dealing with a horrible experience at the West Nyack Kia dealership I came to my local Healy Kia in hopes of a better experience. Unpleasant experience. Could see right through their insincere and manipulative tactics. Tried to relate to us in the fakest way possible, when they spoke with their manager they spoke loud enough for us to hear them say things like you know this is the lowest we can go clearly doing so to ensure we would hear them trying to fight for us. Laughable. Sorry, were not dumb and got a much better deal for the same exact car elsewhere. Might be a pretty dealership, but not worth the ugly experience.
Im probably in the top 1% of the pickiest, most difficult to please people in the world, and James and Brandon, really everyone at Healey KIA from sales to service, were fantastic. Brandon was awesome in providing test drives (emphasis on the plural) and technical information, courteous, patient, and very considerate, throughout several long visits. James was also courteous, patient, fair, and honest, with great follow-up. While there I also saw how everyone else operate on the sales floor, in the service garage, and out in the lot, and the experiences of other customers, and all of them were more than satisfied.Ill provide two minor criticisms just to show how picky but sincere my review is. The finance manager point blank called me cheap for asking if the pick-up ride would be free after I didnt purchase any of extra warranties or services, but was otherwise friendly. And my car had several things overlooked in detailing it for pick-up, but everyone was diligent to address all of them.If Im ever on the market for another KIA, I wouldnt go anywhere else, and they are quite a bit out of my way. Thanks, again everyone at Healey KIA.
I had gone to a Ford dealership in Goshen whos is the brother to Kia 2 hours before going to Kia. I was looking for a vehicle and I saw the one I liked and a man named Dave just told me straight out you cant get a car from here. Not sure why he said that, because he did not take any information about me but my phone number. I guess it was because of the color of my skin. I left and went to Kia in Newburgh.First off, my wife and I were greeted as we walked on the lot, spoke to 1 sales person then directed us to another gentleman whom we worked with a year prior. We sat down spoke about the type of vehicle we were looking for and the type of payments. He then ran our credit and was directed to Jason Horaz. He asked a few questions and got us into a brand new car in which we were happy about. He got us a great monthly payment which was lower than anticipated and we were treated with respect. I would refer anyone to Healey Kia. You work with Jason he will definitely work with you.
I walked into kia Healey and Jason approached me very nicely and right away, you could tell he wasnt one of those pushy car salesman. He told me to come sit in his office to help us decide if we would rather fiance or lease a sportage. He explained to us about the pros & cons of leasing VS. Fiancing. After that he went to go grab a car to test drive and explained all the features of the vehicle inside & out. Made me feel very comfortable while I was test driving the car. Jason was honest, attentive & very knowledgeable about the vehicle and our financing wether it was leasing or purchasing. He was patient and kept in contact with me with what I wanted. I have always had the best experiences with the service department. I will only trust my car with them. They are fast and friendly. If any issues arise, they bring to my attention and see if I want it fixed there and then before they start any work on it. They have always kept my needs first in mind before anything else. Prices are fair and have always let me know what other maintenance I need to do on my car with pricing. The waiting room is clean. I wont trust my car with anyone else besides Healey.
My first and last visit was not pleasant!!! My sales person took for ever with the approval from his manager there...then tried selling me 2010 Ford which I will have to pay for it for the next 5 years not okay....from my experience there all I can say that they care about making money and not a customer at all...I heard on of the sales person tell the other that they lost $300 on a fabric that the customer wanted because the customer got what they wanted and not what the sales person suggested!! Is this how the sales department realy work, if thats the case I will take my business somewhere else from now on.

Zwade has a cool, outgoing personality, and Manny is incredibly sweet! I had trouble with my 2018 Stinger as I was driving down the highway three hours from home. I was able to get to the dealership in Poughkeepsie, NY, but they were unable to fit me into their appointments. They kindly called the Healey Kia dealership in nearby Newburg and this location was able to accommodate me. They quickly diagnosed that the panel under the engine had lost seven bolts and two clips so it was hanging dangerously loose and causing the sounds I heard on the highway and when coming to a stop. They also ran my VIN number and found out that there was a safety recall on this model. In one hour they had the problem fixed and also corrected the recall issue. Knowing that after I dropped my son off at Vassar I had to turn around and drive back to Philadelphia, they could not have been kinder or more efficient. I also received a great email with an attached video that showed the work that had been done to my vehicle. The dealership was clean and bright, it had ample waiting space with beverages and snacks, and the overall atmosphere was inviting and comforting to a traveler somewhat far from home and facing yet another three and one half hours on the road. Overall, it was an outstanding experience and I cant thank the people with whom I associated while at Healey KIA enough.
First, I had an AMAZING experience here. I walked in expecting to be semi disappointed when I walked out, because my mindset was you know get something low priced and generic so you can get from point A to point B, I didnt even want to bother looking at anything slightly above my price range because I knew it wouldnt work, but my Client Advisor Nick Tobar turned that around ASAP!Originally my mother and I came in to look at a pre-owned Hyundai. We all went on the test drive and the car was fine! Just not exactly what I was looking for. Im pretty certain Nick knew I was pretty down when I asked if he possibly knew of any other cars in my price range I could try. With no hesitation he told us to go back to his desk and was on the hunt for the next car.He then invited us back outside which I would meet my soon to be new car! A 2018 Kia Rio sport. My eyes lit up when I got inside, and even more when I did the test drive. My mom and Nick could both tell I liked it, but I had to go home to discuss the pricing since it was just about 1k over my limit. After research and a financial agreement, it was a yes! We came back immediately the same day and Nick got everything started right away. Before I knew it, I was signing my last paper and about to say hello to my new car!Nick made my first real car buying experience as easy, painless, and less scary as possible! He explained everything so well to me and was 100% truthful and truly wanted to help find the right match. Everyone at the dealership was so nice and helpful, from one dealership worker to another, I commend you guys! Absolutely amazing! Hopefully not for a while, but when its time for a new car, you guys are going to be the first thing on my mind! Thank you so much!

I have never written a review on google but this dealership was excellent. The people were polite, and worked well to get a deal that works for the customer. Everything was done in house so I was able to take the car home the same day. It was as painless as you can get in getting a new car.
I haven’t heard much about Kia, but was recommended by a friend to go to a dealership and check it out. My oh my, I’m so glad I did. Met with a very knowledgeable salesmen, named Zwade. He asked me about my preference type and guided me through variety of cars in which he knew much about. Safe to say, the experience provided much value to me as a shopper.
I came in with my mother to buy a car and everyone was really nice as soon as I walked in. There was no pressure to buy a car. I do not have the best credit and they helped me get into a new car with no problems. Manny was beyond helpful for us. Even when I got frustrated he kept his cool and did what he had to to help me. I can’t appreciate him more for dealing with me and my mom. Haha! But all in all I love this place and I’m incredibly happy with my purchase. Thank you!!!
Horrible experience. Made a appointment Saturday afternoon to talk about buying a vehicle in transit. They call monday morning to confirm. We show up, have to wait over 30 minutes past our appointment time to see a salesman. Waited another 45 minutes just for them to tell us its sold. The managers couldnt even be bothered to apologize. Complete waste of time.
Update: Though I appreciate the dealership’s attempt to spin the situation, there was nothing complicated about a situation a dealership sees daily. Also four other dealership did not run a hard hit when I did the exact same procedure. But thank you I am looking forward to both.Ran a hard hit on my credit! I was shopping around for the most affordable car since I have a long commute. I went in there with a budget and told them that. The original sales guy seemed nice. But they claimed they couldn’t meet my budget. Which was $400 for financing a car with some lease payments left over and zero down. Since they couldn’t make it I was going to leave. James Barrett the general manager comes over and it went quickly from a pleasant enough experience to frustrating. We talked in circles with me at some point asking him if he was trying to confuse me. During that conversation he said if you figure out what you want and give me a number (which I had done) I can go to the banks, I am bringing up that comment to point out that at this point not been a hard hit. I got so frustrated that I pointed out I was looking to feel good about my purchase like I had previously with my Hondas. He asked me why didn’t I go to Honda then. I had not gone to Honda because I thought it would be too expensive, but then thanks to his comment I thought about it and decided I should check it out. I went to Honda where I bought a car worth $3,000 more than the car they were offering me for the amount that I wanted monthly. But during my time there I learned that they had run a hard hit on my credit. At no point had I seen someone in fiancé or had agreed to purchase a car or indicated I was doing anything but shopping around. I had been to three other dealerships for this purchase and they hadn’t run my credit. After James Barrett’s behavior and finding this out I feel that this place is shady. Buyer especially female ones be wary.
I cant say enough great things about Healey Kia, and specifically salesman Nick Tobar. He sold me my first KIA 3.5 years ago, and worked magic to upgrade me to an AWD SUV despite difficult issues like unusually high mileage on my first KIA and negative equity from a car prior to my KIAs as well as adeptly handling a double trade. Nick is a no pressure problem solver with a kind heart, which is rare in the auto industry. He got me into the car I wanted at the same payment I was at when it seemed virtually impossible. I didnt feel like they took advantage of me, and they worked to find a solution for the needs of myself and my family, while keeping my payment affordable by finding the vehicle I wanted with enough rebates to make everything work. You actually feel like you are buying from a family member, rather than a shark. Maggie, the sales manager and Mark the finance guy are all lovely to work with as well.The new showroom is beautiful and the service department has been top notch as well, although Ive had very few issues with my KIA in the past and dont anticipate issues with my new purchase either, as they are really great quality cars. I recommend Nick and KIA to all my friends and family.I love my KIA cars and purchasing from this particular dealership has been a pleasure compared to my other car buying experiences, which for better or worse have been many. Customers top priority? I guess I was not considered a customer then. Although I am a returning customer from Healey on my lease of a Hyundai Sonata which I entered a deal for a Kia Optima. I was TRICKED in this deal where I put down what for me was a large sum of money and the return of the Sonata. Never was I told or believed that I was still subject to additional charges for the return of my lease at the whim of the dealership in the amount of nearly $1000. Never would I have had a lease returned to assess fees when I was not there... in person to review AT THE TIME. This amounts to extortion on my credit score. When I called to find out what was going on, first my call was not returned. Second time, when I insisted on speaking with someone I was spoken to in a condescending manner to the tune that i didnt have to understand the deal I made when I left the dealership! I just had to pay whatever they said, because how are they supposed to know? I certainly had ZERO intention of making a deal where I put down what for me is a large figure and then leaving it to the whim of the dealership additional charges on my previous lease. Telling me you werent keeping it in your inventory is NOT the same telling me I was subject to UNKNOWN fees on my previous vehicle
Walked in today because I was in the area and my friend was buying a Jeep from another dealership was treated by Scott Curtis an amazing sales rep who was not pushy was not sales any and immediately went to work to see how I can get into a new car. I did not test drive or even look at any cars on the lot I told Scott my situation what I could afford and which vehicles I’m interested in. Fingers crossed and I will be driving a new car soon. I’ve been to a lot of dealership and this is the first time someone did not try to woo me by showing me shiny new cars and making me do pointless test drives. We went straight to the paperwork and now just a matter of waiting. Scott treated me very well we joked laughed talked about other stuff than cars and not once did he push or force me into anything I hope to do business with you guys soon
Good service. They were ready to work on my Kia as soon as I pulled in for my appointment. Since I had already purchased pre-paid maintenance for the duration of the lease I was a little put off by the way all the items I had already paid for were presented to me as part of the optional upgraded services that I could choose to have done for an additional fee, but a simple question clarified what was already included. Nice showroom. Very easy and comfortable for me to work via WiFi while the work was done. Staff was very courteous and professional.
Excellent experience. Website is well organized and provides real time pricing on all vehicles in inventory. Handy pricing calculator lets you see what each vehicle will cost per month based on what you are putting down so that when you arrive at the dealership, your quote will closely reflect what you see online as opposed to the bait and switch tactics of other dealers. Sales people were friendly and informative without being pushy and didnt try to push a car on us the day that we first visited. Leased a great car at a fair price with no hassle. Would definitely recommend.
I can not begin to say how amazing my experience was on 5/5/18. First I would like to thank Peder my salesman for doing an amazing job and being patient with me as I looked over all of my different options. I can say that it was not easy as I am picky, but I finally landed on a 2018 Kia Sportage! Peder worked out the best possible deal and was upfront and very honest. My wife and I went to Healey Kia on the recommendation of a friend. The first impression of the dealership is that the facilities look new, are modern and comfortable. Our sales person was Brecken LaFlamme. He gave us excellent attention and spent a lot of time with us throughout the process. His approach is honesty and no pressure. He took us on a very thorough test drive of the Sportage . We discovered the great features of the car first hand thanks to Brecken.Brecken and his associate John Knecht worked with us on price and found the model we needed at a nearby dealership. In a couple of days we had our new car with the features and in the color we wanted.Finally, Brecken stays in touch with us to answer any questions we have about the car which we love. . Recently I went in to Healey Kia for a test drive and information on a 2017 Kia Sorento. My experience from the minute I walked into the showroom was fantastic. I met Malik outside. He brought me in and introduced me to the manager and then took the time to find out exactly what I was looking for in my new car. From there I met with Steve who walked me through the financing process. This could not have been easier. Steve made sure I got the best deal I could. This was easily one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. I even drove the car home just 2 hours later. Had a great buying experience! My salesperson Jason, was friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to get me even more than I thought I would be able to. I was thinking about getting a new car for a few months and I went to a dealership in Middletown and I didn’t find anything I really like but I was almost going to settle. I hit up Zwade because I know him through friends and told him what I was looking for and he immediately found something I loved. I saw him at work and that same day I left with a new car. I originally walked into Healey Kia expecting the worst. I was greeted by Finkle who gave me my options with my not so great credit. I was then sent over to Jason Horaz who specialized in credit friendly vehicles. We found one that I loved but I wasn’t ready to commit yet. The next day my car gave out on me so I desperately needed a new car as opposed to dropping three grand on a car that would fail again. I said I would most likely get the car but someone already bought it from under me. It happens. I wasn’t fast enough and wasn’t sure if I was going to get it. But Jason found a car very similar and went to go pick it up for me to test drive. That same day I drove away in my new car and I’m pleased.

My son bought a new KIA Niro in Connecticut and is living in West Point. The car needed service that is under warranty since it is new. When he took it to the dealer Healey he was told that he had not bought the car from them had to take it to the dealer he had bought it from. I have never heard of such thing in my life. He called the dealer he bought if from and they contacted Healey with no luck either. He had to pay for the service. He contacted KIA Corporate and they took care of the cost. Based on this experience I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. Imagine if all dealers did this for new cars they do not sale, you buy a car and move to different state then you would never get warranty service. In my opinion this a terrible customer service.
We are previous Healey owners and went to the two different locations to look for a car, before going to Kia and the experience at Kia was totally different. Justin/Brandon/James made our experience great. We felt that they were upfront, honest and gave us the best deal they could. Thanks!

2021-09-16Gotta be honest, as always I’m skeptical of Car retail spots. They usually seem too pushy or driven by commission. I walked in here with a goal in mind, certain budget and direct preference. Not once did I feel pressured or obligated to buy what they wanted me to buy (like most places). They didn’t steer me to in the wrong direction. Client Advisor Krissy was helpful, understanding and focused on finding us the car we wanted and needed. She didn’t veer far away from our budget either. The paperwork process was smooth and effortless as well. I recommend this place to anyone especially those in Orange County area. Also, no I’m not paid or a representative of this company writing this “to look good” or boost the ratings. This is my true honest review based off today’s experience.
