I saw Dr. Kim today at his flushing office. I was impressed with front desk intake. It was efficient, friendly and organized. I had an 11:00 a.m. appointment. I was inside a patient cubicle at 11:22a.m. The curtain on the cubicle was drawn immediately for privacy. I waited another 15 minutes for a physicians assistant to appear. Once present, the physicians assistant moved things along briskly. She took my blood pressure immediately and proceeded to ask me a series of diagnostic questions. Dr. Kim then appeared via face time on his office phone. He listened attentively to my story, examined the three base line cardiograms forwarded by my primary care physician and then issued instructions to his P.A. My cardiagram was done quickly without fuss. Upon completion, Dr. Kim appeared via face time again and went over it with me. He formulated a plan and clearly explained how to move forward. It was easy to make follow up appointments.Please note, that I was not put off because I did not see the doctor personally. I left certain, that arrangements would be made as quickly as necessary for an in person visit if required.Telemedicine is now a normal in our virtual world.

This doctor is the worst doctor I have ever encountered. My father was a patient of Dr. Back Kim for a very long time. Back in March 2022, my father had difficulty breathing and would get tired very easily. He met with Dr. Kim and had a stent procedure scheduled for the following week. My dad was waiting for a confirmation call from the office to let him know the time and address of the hospital he had to be at. As we approached the date, still no call from the office. Nobody ever picks up the phone at that office!! My father couldn’t wait any longer he decided to go into the office himself so he can get the information. When he walked in, he had high blood pressure so they called an ambulance and admitted him into New York Presbyterian Hospital Queens (where Dr. Kim is not affiliated with). As soon as my father arrived at NYPH-Queens, he was in the ER for 8 hours just being monitored. So we called Dr. Kim’s office and asked if Dr. Kim could contact the hospital himself to have his patient transferred to NYU LANGONE or any other hospital he was affiliated with because my father wanted Dr. Kim to perform the procedure. Dr. Kim himself said that he doesn’t even know which room my dad was in and that he could not make that request. The notion that I got from his voice was that he just didn’t care. Did I mention, it was US that contacted Dr. Kim first. He did not even care to call us first to check up on his patient. My father ended up getting his stent procedure at NYPH-Queens and was discharged after 4 days. Till this day, today being July 2022, Dr. Kim still HAS NOT CALLED to ask how my father is doing or how everything went. DO NOT TRUST THIS DOCTOR! HE JUST DOESN’T CARE ABOUT HIS PATIENTS!

Unorganized front desk (the lady did not knew there were first time patients).Long waits, I was there for about 3 hours just waiting for an appointment that overall was roughly 20 minutes and I did not even see the doctor, they were just taking the basic information.Would not recommend for anyone unless you want to waste a lot of time just for basic stuff, go to another doctor and do not waste money and time here

Front desk girls are very nice and professional. Cannot say the same thing with the physician assistant. I feel like the front runs the place and “ where is the office manager??””. The PA is heartless and unprofessional. I would mention her name here but I won’t. I will not go down her level. I hope *IF* the doctor reaches out to me I have a lot to say about his incompetent, rude and unprofessional PA. I DO NOT feel comfortable having my mother being under her care. I now know how this office runs, worst experience ever!!. I will definitely look for another place where my mother will be treated well.

The most bs doctor Ive ever encountered. I took my grandmother there. when i went in there, the office was a complete mess. Boxes upon boxes full of stuff stacked everywhere that was visible in the waiting room. The staff looked miserable and angsty .I understood why the office was that way when I met Dr Kim. He saw my grandmother and said a bunch of stuff had to be done. Very rudely, i might add. I went to another clinic for a second opinion , because i didnt believe any of the bs he was spouting. My grandmother didnt need ANYTHING done. She only needed to exercise and take some medication for her leg. DO NOT GO SEE THIS SCUM DOCTOR, DR KIM. Hell give you a bunch of false diagnoses so he can earn more money.

Dr Kim asked my husband if he had pain. When my husband answered No, dr Kim replay so, why are you here? Also, dr Kim saw us in an aisle with a courtain that didnt provide privacy.We inmediately went to another doctor who found out after a few minutes of proper medical care that my husband has several clots in his left leg.

This place is the worse, the give you an appointment and then you have to wait for over two hour, the workers dont have any respect or manners, I take a test May 16 and i still dont receive the results,I make three appointments to speak to Dr Kim but its always something why I cant and the ask you the same questions everytime, which I refuse to answer today so they hang up on me without I speak to dr kim

No real information over the phone.Why cant they just tell you what insurance do a person have or the cost for the treatment
