Lovely place for beauty professionals to shop! The staff is super helpful as well. You can finds deals and discounts almost every week and they would also give small travel sized gifts sometimes.

This place is horrible!!! Horrible!!! I have been coming In for years randomly and there is always an issue. You get harassed as a customer the products are old a lot of the times. And the people who work there are so disgusting with their behavior they shouldn’t even be allowed to speak to people. I was discriminated against for having my service animal with me and yelled at told I would not be served and would be ignored. Do yourself a favor and just buy on Amazon or go to Mane Beauty in Manhattan.
Don’t bother; they barely have any useful items and the ones they have are overpriced poor quality. The staff isn’t much help either
This is the best store in Astoria, they have all the items that someone need regarding beauty, specially they have huge collection of wigs and hispanic products. And best thing is they have alot of products on sale , they offer free membership and boom u have to pay less than somewhere else, yesterday i brought braiding hair at half price than in other store, they have just every single thing from needle, thread to stand dryers,,all staffs are knowledgeable and helpful, i will keep doing shopping here, dont just judge by rude customers those posting negative comments, visit yourself and findout!!I ♡ HELLO BEAUTY!!!!
I love this store they have all of the things I need, the color hair dyes,nail polish gel that stay for more than 3 weeks its much better then other brands that I have brought. All the korean face masks makes my face very clean,soft and bright!! The lady in the front is very nice and helpful. All the oils she has recommended for my hair maked it stronger and healthy. I have been using hello beauty for couple years I go in there ATLEAST 1-2 month buy same product every time plus other supplies. Yesterday I went in there when they were about to close in like 510 minutes the woman got two ponytails for me brought him up to the front I couldn’t exactly look at them with her holding them but I always buy the same exact ones that I can put on the car clip she saw me one for $16 that I can do nothing with so I called the store and they don’t even care because of the pandemic which no one’s wearing facemasks or anything anymore I can’t return it unused really???? To treat loyal customer like dirt is sad because Eat about 80% revenue is Word of mouth no I’m gonna tell my girlfriends they’re gonna tell their girlfriends people won’t go there anymore and if they do they’re gonna have the same experience I did good luck

Great beauty supply store for curly hair products, they have a bit of everything including some products from abroad! Been coming here for about two years and always feel welcomed, Nancy is lovely and very helpful when it comes to product knowledge, which I appreciate.

Terrible place!!! Bring your money elsewhere. Supplies are much more expensive than at some other stores.Also, they dont know what customer service is. The two girls with long black hair that work there are really rude and not helpful at all. Will never come here again.
Absolutely the worst people. I got there just before they closed and they refused to service me. The were helping 3 other customers and would not let me in 5 minutes before they closed. I need one item and one item only. I’ll be taking my business else where. Don’t even waste your time there. Go to Amazon for your hair products. Way cheaper anyway.
I think this shop could have more variety regarding the hair used to braid with and more colors. But I found what was good a choice, which was a long loc style and a few extras.. I still think variety in choosing braiding hair is essential.

Im baffled with the rudeness of the cashier and one of the sellers, one who wear extensions. I went there to buy extensions not even caring about the price. Tge cashier was extremely rude explaining I couldn’t get either an exchange or a refund because I couldn’t try tge extensions. I explained her that ir was my first time trying it and she was extremely rude about ir as well. One of the sellers used extensions I asked some advices to her and I wanna her to show me how she cliped the extensions she was also super rude, didn’t show me and turned her back on me. In times of Covid when you enter a beauty store probably you need help to feel pretty and feel good. This two ladies only made me feel even worse. What a pity. I hope the owner can explain to them that a paying guest it’s more valuable than a personal bad day of them.

During my entire shopping experience, I was followed and constantly asked if I needed help in an obnoxious way. I told her I am okay and that I dis not need help. I even put my merchandise up front so that I can continue looking for items and the girl still continued following me around. There were white customers in the store and not one time were they bothered in the manner that I was given. I am not a thief so please calm the hell down.
This place has everything as far as beauty/haircare supplies. Prices are pretty reasonable as well. I say Definetly check them out aa everything is well organized so all brands are groupes together in the aisles.

They have most products that your looking for and the prices are mid to high. The customer service however isnt good. The cashier is always smacking on gum the staff in general is rude but the young lady in the wig section is very polite, friendly and knowledgeable. If they improve their customer service and improve on their prices they can have a long lasting stay in this business community!

I love, love this store! The product selection has upgraded so if you left years prior come on back home! Ive been a customer since my teens, but let me tell you...the new staff is amazing! This is my first stop (My favorite wig store) Anytime I’m in NY. I had a mishap where the wig I wanted wasn’t the wig I was given, and I purchased it, with my event scheduled next day. I hadn’t taken my wig out of the pack, so I went back to get the wig that I asked for and I picked out some lashes that I wanted purchase. The store manager was in, and she not only let me exchange, but she also gave me the lashes for the mishap with my purchase. This is why I recommend this store to anyone looking for hair and good customer service.

This beauty has a large variety of make-up, hair supplies etc. but I was disappointed when I was sold unknowingly, a mixture of synthetic/human extensions for a little over $100.00, she told me it was human hair and it only lasted me 3 months. I trusted the girl because she seemed knowledgeable. If you go here to buy hair just make sure you know what you are getting. I ended up getting better quality hair at another beauty supply for the same price.
2nd store I Called before I arrived to purchase they confirmed the item Traveled 2 hours and item wasn’t in stock cashier claims it was stolen but tries to get me to purchase additional item absolutely not I’m 4 months pregnant u coulda told me that before I arrived I appreciate honesty over a sale any day
Every time I go to this store the employees treat me poorly. I spend more money in one visit than they probably make in a one week and I get IDd to use my DEBT CARD with my PIN! I watched other customers pay with their debit card and not get carded. Then I come to the register and Im carded for a DEBIT with pin purchase. I asked the lady, WHO STEALS A DEBIT CARD AND USES A PIN NUMBER? That doesnt make any sense. I told her she didnt card anyone else but me at the register and here I am spending the most money. Im black and noticed a difference between me and other people who didnt get carded (one lady with a large purchase too). I also noticed a guy follow me in the isle when I went down the isle with my bag. I found what I needed and then asked for help to purchase the expensive hair on the wall. I got ignored. Everyone was chit chatting around the register instead of helping people. A lady with red hair was kind enough to finally respond and help me. She was the ONLY store employee that has been nice during my visits there. Its so annoying dealing with poor customer service when you have money to spend to support an establishment. They shouldnt treat people poorly or judge anyone. This is one reason people are shopping online for items like beauty supply goods.

THE WORST BEAUTY SUPPLY STORE EVERRRR !!!!! They don’t never have anything you need. I went in there for hair dying mixing bowl & brushes, metal hair clips, LA Girl concealer, isoplus and shimmer lights. THEY DID NOT HAVE NONE OF THE ITEMS !!! They only have good eye lashes (in my opinion) and they barely be having those sometimes. Oh and they are very rude over the phone and don’t know what they sell in the store and can barely understand you. I’ve been living in Astoria my whole life and this is the one and only beauty supply store in the area. It’s time we gotten a new beauty supply ASAP !

I went to this store to buy my hair clippers a few days ago and the manager is very disrespectful and doesnt know how to treat his customers, he doesnt know anything and says himself he doesnt have to because hes the manager, I will never be coming here again this store has lost a loyal customer!!! Ive been coming here for the last 9 years. Never had a problem till today! They had a sale on an item for 4.99 (original price 7.99) with your membership card so I said hey why not... It rings up original price. The girl at the register said I was wrong and no refunds! Like I just purchased this not even 20 seconds ago!! I ripped the sticker off the shelf and brought it to the manager. She scanned it and tried to give me the same excuse. She was like oh its a different sku number were sold out and that the sale supposedly ended.... Which one is it? Im like well you are the manager and you obviously have lots of staff members, you should keep up with inventory, and your limited time offers. I Tell the manager you do give refunds right? she said of course. I said well tell the cashier that because she said store policy no refunds... Its a shame how lazy these girls are. If you hate your job, look for another one. There was only one girl there that was extremely helpful. A young african american female who went above and beyond to help me! Sadly I did not get her name. Kudos to her! But after todays experience yea I wont be coming back here. Smh!
I have been coming for 5 years, this week I see many new faces now and I like them because they are kind and attentive girls. The customer service is good, but they need more variety of products to make them better.
I would love to love this place, but I always leave the store frustrated and with empty hands. On black friday the Revlon 53s haircolor had only two boxes and the Revlon 40 haircolor, one box on the shelf.I have THREE MONTHS waiting for the Revlon 40 ink and the only answer was that the store was out of stock, yesterday after much insistence one of the girls ``found`` 6 boxes in the stock.The girls always asks, ``how can I help you?``, but never ask them to look in the stock. They are always busy and rolling eyes.
This store is amazing I bought a product for my beard and it worked pretty great totally recommend the product and store here , also the lady in red hair is such a good help , if you need any assistance call her up and shell help you no problem

Im sad because on Sundays they used to open early and now they just open at 11am which means I dont have time to buy the things I need and its the only day I can buy my things 😭😭😭💔 and also on the door it says it opens at 10:30am and its closed there which makes me sad , I would like to know if the people working are going to open each Sunday at 11 or are they going to change the time so we can all buy our things early

La tienda es buena solo que hay una trabajadora ahí que está utilizando su nombre y eso está muy mal porque es difamación, Nancy tiene más de 6 meses que no trabaja en esa tienda , ella atiende muy bien a los clientes y es muy amable, siempre voy con ella a Brooklyn para que me de consejos y mis amigos y familiares están muy contentos por la atención que brinda. I have been coming to this store for more than 15 years to buy all the products I need for my salon and I had not had any problems so far, last week my husband went to buy gallons of peroxide that we needed and the new manager did not want to use My phone number with which they give me a discount, apart from giving attitude and not knowing anything, I was asking for a new license, the man is very rude, my husband had to return with nothing ... I am very shocked it was my favorite beauty supply , but with that arrogance I will never return!Too bad the new manager doesnt mind losing old and good clients. 😠
The worst service from the workers. They require a mask to enter when it is no longer mandatory and they do not provide a mask to their customers because they require you to buy one just to enter. Just to make money. This is the last straw. And their assortment is very poor.
Today I went and I really liked the service that a young woman with a mole near her mouth did not know the name, she is very nice, patient and really interested in the store and making her customers happy. The new girls were a very good change. To improve: You still have many out-of-stock products that take a long time to arrive.

I asked for simple things but without a doubt it would not have hurt to spend enough money on something else, I am a teacher and I will tell all my classmates not to go shopping there. 2022-01-30Medium sized supply store with some of main haircare products for all hair types. Prices are not cheap, but you maybe find some decently priced. Small braiding/crochet section. Wig selection more shiny straight, not naturalistic looking.

2022-06-07The store manager Nancy told me to pay for a salon to fix my hair because apparently she thought I would mess my hair up with a toner. She was careless and unprofessional. I asked for advice, she said what she said then walked away. Talk about manners she clearly doesnt have any.Guess what Nancy, I found a 10 dollar purple shampoo with the kind advice of a young lady just 1 block away in cvs. Bless her heart. 🙏 it worked! I didnt have to spend over 200 like Nancy guided me to.What a manager. She doesnt care about her customers other than organizing her shelves which the place is all mess.

2022-07-02The staff followed me the entire time. I had no bags just a fanny pack. Horrible customer service because of this practice. Staff was told they must follow and watch customers. This is the number one way to lose business.

2022-03-26Gr8 store considering Im from the West Coast where the wig stores is everything. A little bit overpriced for the brands that sell for way cheaper out West but overall it was nice to see and fairly reasonable. 😊👍😉

2021-12-14This place is like a last resort since it’s the only beauty supply store they r so rude and don’t know what they r doing I went in to buy hair extensions no one knows the color to help me then they gave me the wrong price the lady said it was 80$ then the cashier said it was 109$ so false advertising, anyways they don’t know how to color match so I went with what the lady gave me then I got home and it was wrong color I call the store to exchange it and they were rude and said they don’t do it I literally bought it en hour ago spent 140$ and when I ask for the manager and owner they say they can’t give me that information I just wasted my money 140$ I’m so upset and will never go there plz don’t buy anything from this store. How unprofessional right after I wrote this review they put their friends to review about hair extensions how unprofessional and so obvious, where is the owner????? How can you allow this kind of behavior and treatment to costumers spending their hard working money hire professional staff that speaks English and knows about beauty supply’s ….. I have reported this to the BBB .

2021-04-26Ive been going to this place for a couple of years now and the customer service has always been phenomenal! Today I asked the cashier Nancy for some help with choosing which hair products would work for my curly hair and she was very thorough with her explanation on choosing a leave-in conditioner and what other products would do to my hair and when would be best to use them. Overall, I have always felt like a valued customer going there and it has been my favorite place to go for any of my hair products!
