Moved back to NY two years ago and found this place right down my block. Before pandemic I was there everyday to buy their delicious coffee, which they would make fresh for me if it was sitting around awhile. The burger special is delish as are just about all their deserts. Staff is polite. It is predominantly arab Muslim but was not treated any different. I have tattoos and piercings which I think would cause me a problem but no. They treated me equal to everyone else, often with a smile. The woman who worked there during the day was great, and she seemed to like me. I look forward to having this as part of my day again. It is worth checking out. They are spacious and open late! Whats not to like?
This place is one of my favorite go to in Bay-ridge Brooklyn with amazing Yemeni drinks and a whole menu of delicious smoothies, juices, breakfast and lunch specials and overall satisfied with the good food!! The sandwiches are always clean and delicious and although sometimes the only downside is wait time takes a while, it’s always worth it for me!
Hemos spot juice , Bayridge BK. Smoothie was delicious, unique and priced well. Called ahead for a quick pick up. Clerk called me back to tell me it was ready (parking was impossible, Ramadan rush). I have heard about it from so many so we decided to try it as part of our new year being healthy regimen. All I can say is wow! We went for almost a week straight, sampling new items each visit and everything is so good. I am partial to the Yemini Limeade with mint and also like the Smurf Butter smoothie. Highly recommend having a juice from Hemos on your way to the harbor, Owls Head or just walking around the neighborhood.
I always stick with the green monster, it’s fabulous. Their prices are amazing compared to chain juice places (ie: $5 here vs $11 at juice press). They have a wide assortment of juices, smoothies, protein shakes and even playa bowls! The service is on point too. Best thing that happened to Brooklyn.
Try the delicious and refreshing Yemeni lemon (lime) juice! It is so good and hits the spot. It’s basically lime juice, mint and sugar. Fantastic. Also, if you want a treat unlike anything else, the Love Potion/ honeymoon smoothie is very good. Also, they make some good Yemeni snacks and have delicious cakes. I wish they will open a location in Philadelphia. We could use one here!

The juices are good but the service at night can be extremely slow. Even if you call an order in 20 minutes they’ll either have forgotten or it’s not even ready.They need to be organized and hire more.

I was glad to see a new juice bar/cafe in the neighborhood and wanted to try it out. We ordered a smoothie (Oreo Power I think) and it was delicious (only reason for my 2 stars). We ordered a couple of paninis from the menu (I ordered the only vegetarian option available). We waited almost 25-30 min for our order but it was a nice evening and we were in no hurry so it wasnt a big deal. It also seemed like everyone waited a long time before getting their orders. When we did get our order though, I noticed mine had some red meat in it, I checked with them and they were a bit confused and then told me the meat is Halal. I said I dont eat meat at all and asked if they could redo it correctly this time. I was very clear when I said no meat but the second time, I again get a panini with meat in it - this time with chicken. I went back again to point to the vegetarian (Vegan) panini listen on their menu and this time, they guy read it properly and then told me they dont have the ingredients to make that panini This was after 1 hour after I placed my order initially so needless to say, I was very hungry and irritated. Not wanting to deal with this any further, I settled for a pastry instead and got it to go. It was a few bucks lesser than the price of the panini but I was honestly very tired to deal with it and just wanted to leave. Had they just told me at the very beginning, I wouldve just got the smoothie and gone to a different place and probably wouldve been a repeat customer for the smoothies. I dont leave bad reviews usually but this was really bad service and I will not be coming back.
The protein shakes are absolutely delicious. I personally got the bodybuilder and I was very skeptical of the egg whites but it completely blew my expectations away. I found out that they only put half a scoop of protein powder in each protein shake so if you want more protein, youre gonna have to ask for it. Each half scoop is $1 so 2 full scoops would be $4 extra. I wouldve gave them 5 stars but my only issue was the communication between me and the person taking my order. He doesnt speak much english which could make things a bit confusing. Other that, this place is great.

2022-06-25My wife and I order from here all the time. The juices are a refreshing and healthy option, especially in the hot weather. I recommend the Pina Colada and Candy Crush drinks. Note that while they accept cards, there is a small surcharge added on (about 4% IIRC). Its better to use cash, if possible.

2022-06-12He shredded a plastic bag into my drink, i honestly don’t know if it was by accident or intentional, but this ether proves these guys are negligent or malicious. He took a while blending it which made me suspicious, but with the first sip i caught the piece pictured, and the drink is full of them

2019-03-23Bayridge really needed a place like this, a coffee shop without hookah. A place for the whole family to come together and hang out. I was really happy to see parents sitting down enjoy their drinks whilst kids running around playing. Im very impressed with this place and it comes highly recommend. If youre going to order the mango drink make sure you ask them to add the nuts on top, it makes it so much better! Cheers!

2021-12-01I ordered pick up through Uber eats the last two days. I really love this place, great prices, and really great food. The person that works there seemed to put a lot of effort into making the food, and you can taste it! Definitely going back again. Would recommend the açaí bowls (and the bagels were good too).

2021-08-07I barely ever write reviews, but this place is literally the worst service in the world. I’ve ordered here before and I’ve had a really long wait for a smoothie (30 minutes). Today I decided to order online to avoid the wait and I show up and there is a long line of angry people waiting for 1 person to make their juices. 4 customers walked out and gave up. I think it goes without saying that my food was not ready and I had to wait another 20 minutes after I had already ordered online. While o waited in the 95 degree sauna that the owner creates by intentionally not turning the a/c on, I noticed that the tables were bit dirty (obviously, nobody was cleaning them because there was only one worker)….And the story doesn’t end there!! I get home and this person made me the completely wrong sandwich. I attempted to call to have the worker/owner remake my sandwich, but he didn’t even bother to answer the phone. The mystery sandwich that I received was actually quite tasty, but was not even close to what I ordered. I would avoid this place unless you would like to deal with everything above.

2019-04-10I had the iron boost juice with added honey for taste and it was delicious! The chocolate mousse cake was delicious. Not too savory which I like. The service topped it off. Friendly staff. The prices are good too. I will be back
