Heritage Auto School is by far the best in New Rochelle! I recommend anyone who’s looking to take a 5 hours class or any class to attend there. Also, you should book driving lessons before your actual drivers test; the more you learn, the easier it will be for you to pass your drivers test!Also, make sure to have a lesson before your test, especially if you have bad anxiety! It helps a lot.
Had a great experience with Adam. He was patient and gave good feedback to help me improve and get over my nervousness as a first time driver. Driving in New Rochelle is not easy, but I felt comfortable and confident while learning how to drive w Heritage. Also, they were very flexible when it came to making appointments and had text reminders to you dont forget your lesson. Passed on my first try, thank you so much!
Brian was the man. Not only a good instructor but a good guy as well. Good conversation and very helpful when preparing to get your cdl. He has great tips and tricks to make it so your ready for the day you need to jump in that truck and take your test. Passed my road test first try. I think I wouldve been doing a few more if it wasnt for him
I went to several driving schools before I tried Heritage, and Heritage provided the best overall experience. The driving instructor, Adam, was always on time and created a calm environment to practice driving. The school itself provided reminders for upcoming lessons and were flexible with rescheduling. I was finally able to pass the road test. I wish I started here first!
For those who are looking for a good driving school I will gladly recommend Heritage as will as Adam as the driving instructor. I started not knowing anything about driving on an actual road but after taking classes with Adam I can proudly say that I passed my road test! He gives great advice and great tricks when it comes to parking and 3-point turns!!
Just passed my road test today! All thanks to Heritage Auto School & Rich in particular. Very glad I found this school, they are very professional and accommodating. Rich was a fantastic instructor, had a very calming presence and his explanations on various driving methods and rules were very helpful. Heritage Auto School is the absolute best auto school out there! From Adam the owner, to the staff at the desk, to the driving instructors, everyone is top notch! Very friendly, knowledgeable, cars are clean and reliable and the prices are great too! Brian was my sons instructor and he was awesome! We had 6 friends that used Heritage for driving lessons for their children and we are so glad we used them for ours! They gave us total piece of mind with the entire process. I was extremely nervous on getting behind the wheel and I was also nervous on getting a driving instructor that did not have any patience with me. However, it all changed when I met Adam. He was a great instructor that got me to pass my drivers test with confidence & knowledge. He taught me great tricks for the road and especially with parking. I highly recommend him for anyone who is a nervous driver like me or anyone who truly wants to learn & pass their exam. Thank you again adam! 😁

Thanks to the Heritage Auto School and my instructor Rich, I have passed my road test. I passed the test the first try at 27 years old after failing it in my one and only attempt as a teen. My instructor was very calm, taught me everything about the road and easy ways to parallel park and do my turns. The instructor honestly deserves a raise for being able to get someone like me comfortable behind the wheel after so many years! It was a pleasure being apart of this school and to be Rich’s student. I hope anyone hesitating to get their license tries this school out for themselves! I promise you if the instructors are exactly like Rich than you too will feel comfortable behind the wheel!
My instructor was so nice, very experienced and detailed. He started off with me on the basics, took it up the complexity slope gradually. After 6 lessons, I passed my road test. I would recommend Heritage Driving School to anyone that wants to pass the road at the first try.
My instructor Adam was great! He was kind, patient and very professional. He even boosted my confidence when came to completing my drivers test. My brother and I both went here for to learn to drive and for the 5 hour class and we both have our licenses now! Great program

This is the place to go to if you want your cdl. My instructor Brian really cared and showed me the right way about how to drive. They just don’t show u how to pass the road test. Like a lot of other schools. They teach you about everything. I went to another school before here and knew nothing. Heritage really showed me the right way. I recommend this school 100%

Heritage auto school in New Rochelle was by far the best experience. I came to heritage as a brand new driver who had a lot to learn, the instructors and staff were so nice and patient and made me feel comfortable. They offer student discounts and are very informative and honest to help you do your best. I purchased the 4 hour package and paid for 4 separate lessons to be prepared for my road test and because of them I passed on my first try. If you are a new and inexperienced driver looking for a great school to guide you and help you learn heritage auto is the place to be. They are inexpensive and have very flexible hours to fit your schedule. Huge thanks to my instructor Rich, Mike and all the staff who were so supportive and helpful!

Outstanding instructors and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. In just 1 months time their instructors helped me go from someone who had never driven a manual transmission vehicle ever to passing my CDL A license on a 55ft manual transmission tractor-trailer. They gave me all of the tools to go into the test feeling comfortable and confident in my driving abilities.... couldn’t have done it with out Brian and his staff, can’t thank them enough.... would recommend these guys to anyone looking into driving lessons of any kind.

I took a 1 hour driving class with Adam Nery to learn parallel parking & three point turn. He is the best instructor I have ever come across. He tells you a technique that no one else has ever taught me..To all new drivers or ones who have an issue with parallel parking & three point turn, Book Adam Nery today. I give him a five star!

If you want to get your CDL B this is the place to go. I had a fantastic experience. My instructor Rich was very calm and patient in guiding me on tight turns and my maneuvers. In just a week I was able to walk into my roadtest confidently and pass. I appreciate how quickly I was able to take my roadtest as well as how flexible the scheduling was for lessons. I will definitely be returning for my CDL A. And a little word advice to anyone thinking of getting their CDL: STUDY the pre trip inspection religiously, the instructors at this school are fantastic but if you fail to study it on your own time you will likely fail the roadtest before you get on the road. Not only was he able to help me define and sharpen my existing knowledge and experience, but he greatly expanded my understanding and skillset. Heritage Driving School helped me get my CDL. I took lessons at another school and was taught on an automatic transmission. They just want my money but did not get me the CDL I needed for work. When I was looking for work I was told I needed to have the no manual transmission restriction removed from my license. This is when I turned to Heritage.Adam and Rich ( who thinks he’s funny) were great. I was able to pass my road test and now I am very busy and loving my job. Thank you Heritage, Adam and Rich.
As a female I was a bit apprehensive about applying and taking the time to get my CDL Class A license. After passing my road test on the first try with a high passing grade it felt great! I couldn’t have been more thankful for my instructor, Brian and all the patience he gave me throughout our lessons. I am glad that I decided to take enough hours of training until I felt confident behind the wheel. My suggestion is to take as much as you need, it is well worth the money and experience to feel confident on the day of your road test. The step by step guidance and support of the instructor and office manager is exceptional and very comforting. I can also say that if you remember and are conscious/mindful of the criticism you are recieving, the more you listen the more you will recognize situations that are likely to occur, both, on the road and on the road test. Best advice take your time, study and listen.

He helped me a lot.I live on Long Island, I started off going to a school name CDT in west Babylon. That school was the worst school. I wasted soooo much money taking lessons with them. That school is sooo disorganized. I stop attending that school and found Heritage Auto School online. Heritage was highly rated on google so I tried it out. It was the best decision I could of made. From the first day I spoke to Brian (Bryan), he was confident that he can help me get my license in a short space of time. He was correct. Heritage helped me in less than two months. Heritage Auto is 100% professional and mindful of teaching new drivers the correct way to drive, understand and adapt to the real world rules of the road. They taught my son more in 1 session then he learned in 16 weeks of driving in his drivers ed program. Great place if your looking for a CDL. I got my Class A after 7 lessons. The truck is user friendly and learning to drive a big rig on the streets of New Rochelle prepares you for the road test. Ask questions and go over the air leak test and break check. Huge points on the test. Brian and Adam are great they’ll help you pass the test !
Local 3 electrician that needed to get a CDL. My experience was great with this driving school. Dealt with Adam with all my scheduling and he was polite and helpful. Ritchie my instructor was friendly and extremely helpful. I felt very comfortable and got my CDL. I would recommended this school to anyone who wants to get their CDL liscence. Herritge Auto School is great ! I was able to obtain my cdl class b and I also went back to obtain my class A license. Brian and rich are great instructors they are very patient and will teach you what you need to know to pass your exam. The office is very reliable, they will get you your road test date pretty quick. I highly recommend Herritge auto school if you’re looking to obtain your cdl!

Had an amazing experience here. I initially took my five hour class here and thats it. I was planning on practicing on my own but no one was helping me with any visuals to really understand and fix my errors. Decided to take at least one driving lesson here. As a young, single mom I did hesitate at having to pay for lessons, but I do not regret it one bit. My instructor really taught me in a way that I could remember and understand. Passed my road test on the first try.

I needed help studying for school bus CDL learner permit. Brian of Heritage Auto suggested I take their Class B CDL class for school buses. I took it, failed the first practice test, (without ever reading CDL manual) then I passed second practice exam after lunch. The class gave me a better understanding of what to expect and what chapters to read. Im a lot more confident about taking DMV CDL learner permit. Reading the CDL manual is a lot easier to understand now. Id recommend Heritage Auto School.

Adam Nery is a great driving instructor who not only taught me how to pass the road test, but also taught me some helpful tricks for driving in general.
Coming from zero experience driving class A vehicles, Bryan helped me out tremendously. He talked me thru the steps on how to properly maneuver these vehicles. HIGHY RECOMMEND Heritage Auto School if you are serious about acquiring you class A.
I agree with Michael Alfano. Donald (Don) who does the 5 hour pre-license class is a little bit harsh to those who are not fluent in English. However, he was being honest. If you do not understand English, its going to be nearly impossible for you to pass your road test (since you need to follow directions). Im currently doing the package offer. Rich(ie) is funny, but I dont like how when the lesson is over he gets out the car and thats it. He never gives me feedback or anything. I do not know if hes scared that hell hurt my feelings and/or he doesnt care about my driving lessons lol.The prices are a bit high ($415 for 4 lessons).I will update this and tell you guys if I pass or fail my road test. Which will be on December 5th.**UPDATE**I failed my road test. Nonetheless, Rich is still a cool dude.If youre learning how to drive, I suggest going to a different auto school. Youll get more lessons for a more affordable price. This auto school seems to be good if you already have driving experience and need a touch up.*UPDATE 6/5/2017*I passed my road test going to a different driving school called SKY AUTO DRIVING SCHOOL. Theyre very good. Everyone that goes there passed their road test, literally.

I had a terrible experience there. The guy who was supposed to teach me how to drive spent his time looking at his phone, looking at the road sometimes without paying attention to anything. Im pretty sure his name was Richie. I feel that he got paid to text his friends rather than focus and do his job. I strongly recommend not going to that driving school.
I went to this school for my class A training, which they claim they do. In reality after being with them I could not get anything from the lesson that could get my a Class A job. Never taught hitching, docking, sliding tandems, No brake testing, no pretrip, nothing just driving and parallel parking. In fact they didnt even have a good truck, a 6 speed cab over which isnt used N.Y. Class A company jobs. Most trucks are double axle and triple axle trucks. So in short they are useless for Class A training and just take your money and run. Im driving now for a company and have to be trained for real this time before I get my own truck
Brian was very thorough in his lessons with me made sure I understood all of the moves and direction very dedicated even came in on a Sunday before my exam to give me a lesson to make sure I was ready for my exam will definitely recommend them to everybody that I know create experience have no complaints good value very reasonable I drove an hour and a half to go to them because of their reputation from othersThat I spoke to when they told me to use them

CDL A Instructor grow impatient very quickly. The essential parts of driving tractor trailer is often left out. Instructor grows frustrated and gets quiet.

I did not like it. Spend tons of money and did not pass, although was told by the instructor, that I was doing o.k. and ready for the exam. I do not think they even care if you pass or fail, they always get their money anyway.

2022-02-11I found Heritage Auto School to be excellent in all aspects - polite and efficient service from the admin staff and my instructor, Adam, was super! He was always on time, was very patient, explained techniques very clearly and was always full of positive words of encouragement! Whenever I expressed that I was anxious, stressed and was nervous about driving on my own here, he gave me great tips especially for parking, changing lanes, turning, etc. that really helped me gain confidence. I feel so much more confident now thanks to Adam and his valuable driving lessons. I was able to pass at my first attempt and would not have been able to do it without Adams guidance. I highly recommend Adam and Heritage Auto School!

2022-04-07Passed my CDL class A road test today and I couldn’t be anymore thankful to Heritage Auto School/staff which were super nice and friendly but especially my instructor Brian!!!! He went above and beyond to get me ready for my road test. All of his instructions and techniques were explained very thorough and detailed. He made me feel comfortable and confident throughout all my lessons and I am super happy to have achieved this big goal of getting my Class A license with Heritage Auto School!!!!!! My driving instructor, Adam, gave me great driving tips that helped me pass my test and he was also very patient. Overall, 10/10 I would definitely recommend the heritage auto school!!

2022-03-04Today I passed my CDL Class B road test, thanks to Rich! Rich was very patient from start to finish, taught me exactly what I needed to know as well as what was going to be expected of me. I was able to pass on my first try thanks to him, I can guarantee that would have not been the case if I did not receive his guidance. Once again thanks to Rich & Alice at heritage for assisting with all my questions, and being patient and confident in me throughout the entire process. I will continue to recommend this school to the highest degree.

2021-12-30As a recent student and now a fully licensed truck driver, I want to show my immense gratitude to Brian, Adam and Staff at Heritage CDL School. When I first started with Brian, 2 months ago, I came from another CDL school, having exhausted a substantial amount of money& quite frustrated do to the fact that I wasnt receiving proper instructions from my lessons from prior school. However, upon switching to Heritage CDL I finally felt encouraged by Brian, not only was he precise in teaching me what I needed to master, he was very patient and because of this my confidence was elevated & I passed my road test smoothly. My true belief is that had it not been for Heritage, it wouldve been a challenging road test to pass. Im grateful for their dedication, diligence & encouragement. #1 in my book!

2022-04-11I went to this driving school to see how I could Remove a Restriction that was on my CDL License. Class A Restriction (N2) do not drive vehicles with a capacity of more than 8 passengers. even though I have passenger endorsement. It is a Restriction that to Remove it you have to take the Road Test in a Class B vehicle or school bus. I respectfully went to your office in New Rochelle and was attended by a lady who could never give me answers to my questions, even I tried to show her some information that I had. and she told me that I didnt have to look at anything I felt a little embarrassed by her Answer. I personally told the Lady if she could talk to someone who could provide me with the information I was looking for. The Lady called a Gentleman by phone, I dont remember his name and they agreed that they would call me to let me know the information I was looking for, they never called me. A week ago I came back and called by phone and I was able to talk to (Alice) and she told me that they would call me and again they didnt call me. I was ready to take the training with Heritage Driving school but after so much disinterest on their part I realize that it would have been a very bad idea. Luckily there are many schools in NY and NJ so I did my research and found one that gave me the Answer and I even started with them.Thanks to your attention and service, I was able to make a better decision.

2021-02-05I had a very positive experience with Heritage auto school. My instructor Adam is very good, patient, he always took his time to teach me what I really needed to know about driving. He is very professional knowledgeable and always make me feel comfortable behind the wheel. He was always on time and made my learning experience very fun. I would definitely recommend Heritage auto school to anyone who is looking to learn how to drive. 2021-02-04Passed my road test flawlessly. Had taken lessons driving with Adam, and he was very professional, patient, calm, and good at communicating things to help me better prep for the road test. After all the lessons I was very confident in passing the road test, and did so perfectly. If you are considering Heritage for getting your driving license, I would definitely recommend them. Big thanks for the smooth and confident experience from the training given by the auto school.
