The staff here are awesome. They showed me exactly what I wanted to see, answered all my questions, and gave me completely honest opinions on the furniture and materials. Wasnt planning on buying a chair at the store today, but wound up getting one in the store rather than online just to make sure the salesman that helped me got a commission. Definitely plan on getting more furniture from Herman Miller in the future, and will definitely return to the showroom to do so.
Just a showroom - can’t buy products there. Suggest going here to try out chairs, then buy them used off ebay or reseller sites for wayy cheaper elsewhere. I got an older, used Aeron delivered to Manhattan for $650 total! But thanks to the showroom I was able to try it out.
The staff here are awesome! We browse more than we buy cause really, how often are you buying >$1k chairs, but the team there is always super nice and our dog always gets a treat!

The Sail chair by Herman Miller is fantastic! An elegantly sharp design with real comfort, you can’t go wrong. Had mine custom made and it was delivered in perfect condition, took only 18 days. It is beyond stylish, I can sit and work for hours with no back or shoulder pain, this chair is a life changer if you work at a computer for long periods of time. Fantastic chair!! ☺
One of the most amazing shopping experiences Ive ever had! You can see, touch and feel all the iconic Herman Miller furniture. The sales staff has extensive knowledge of the products and their history. If you like classic contemporary furniture and you want the real deal, no cheap knock offs, this is the place! I was so happy to visit!

My friend had talked about getting a chair from here for WEEKS. Today I asked him how the chair was and the disappoint in his voice when he replied saying he didnt get one made a shiver run down my spine. Ive never heard of a customer service interaction with a friend lead to an entire day ruined. I am utterly disgusted with the customer service at Herman Miller Flagship Store.
The quality of their furniture is top notch. And the sales staff is nice and never pushy. I was looking for a couch and they all helped me get the right one instead of trying to sell me the most expensive.
Came here, waited in line, got zero service. Was really looking to get a good chair but clearly my money isnt welcome here. Just going to go down the road to Finksters chairs and furniture where I feel more welcome.
This review is for this stores Customer Service - pretty bad. The products are beautiful/the store is beautiful, but customer service is kinda terrible for the prices this place charges. In this day and age where we have so many choices. I will not choose you anymore. Youre better off take your money else where people where youll be treated and helped better!
Just purchased Mirra2 for over $1,200. Chair came with no instruction how to adjust it.Delivery company left it outside on a street.For $1,200 this is what you get?Will never buy another chair from Herman Miller and advise you to spend your dollars somewhere else.

Why did one of the sales people ask me to take a seat and tell me he’d bring out chairs for me to try out only to make me wait 40 minutes while he helped 2 other customers who came in after me.. It seems like the only person in there with any clue is Devon. He was the only one with eyes and helped me after realizing I was waiting for a really long time while his moron colleague did nothing to help me after I waited so long.
I had such a wonderful time in the Herman Miller flagship store. I was walking up Park and just stumbled upon it, browsed for about half an hour and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The layout and items shift every 6 months around a theme one employee was telling me, so Im really looking forward to stopping by again next time Im in NYC!

Having visited this location twice with the intention of purchasing an office chair and failing to be acknowledged by any and all associates both times, I quite honestly think I might just figure out how to make one myself.
I am EXTREMELY disappointed with the CUSTOMER SERVICE I experienced with the company that I had a lot of trust for.I have been saving money for a couple of years now so I can finally get the chair I have been dreaming about. I ordered my chair and took advantage of the promotion on the website. The chair was 1,159.40. I ordered it and was very excited about my purchase that was supposed to come on or before February 2021.I called Herman Miller customer service to track my chair and spoke to Stephanie Schrotenboer who told me that they had a glitch in the system and the price was a mistake so they wouldnt honoured the price and I would have to order my chair again and pay the Regular price and Wait again until April 2021!! I requested to have a manager call me to solve this issue so I can explain to her/him that I purchased a chair on sale and that I have been waiting months to receive it. Nobody called me.Do not order from this company , u will be extremely disappointed with the terrible customer service, they have 0 solutions for you!!! Im considering buying Steelcase or Knoll!
Went in with questions about the office chairs last month and had Diane Welstead give a great tour of use on them all without every trying to sell me, so I bought one of course. Highly recommended.
This showroom is a must visit if you like Herman Millers products and/or love getting inspiration for things you can do with your home or office! The showroom mixes HM products with curated ones to create some really nice spaces!
It may not be the most affordable of places, but if you’d like to surround yourself with well designed, mid-century furnishings there’s no better place. Charming staff that makes you feel welcomed but not pressured.

2022-09-12From the minute I called the store to ask for directions until the moment I left the store, the staff in this place is absolutely awesome. They are young, energetic and its obvious that they all enjoy working together.I had the pleasure of working with Aaron Villa (you can call him Aeron) and both Macy and he immediately found perhaps the only chair in stock that would fit me, as I am 63 and 235 lbs.They could not have made the buying process any easier, but unfortunately, I think I need a bigger chair. This place is top class, white glove service in every way possible, and I truly appreciate all their efforts

2022-02-06Good luck getting a gaming chair that isnt black in under 10 weeks .Who waits 10 weeks for a chair ?What a joke ! Steelcase delivers within a week.These people are out of their minds ,cant believe I wasted a sunday at the flagship store. If you have no products let people know put a sign up that reads we only have black chairs everything else will be 10 -50 weeks cuz we suck.

2022-02-07Its been 3 months (now its Feb) since purchasing in early Dec about $3.5k worth of gear and dealing with slow shipping and waiting over a month for a refund. I keep emailing and calling back with no progress on the refund. Utter waste of my time and I cannot recommend anyone buy anything here. Go buy a Steelcase chair and Uplift desk instead for half the cost and no headache.
