They gave me a beautiful 2019 Buick Encore. It was hard to give this car back once my own car was back from the garage. This location was way more professional and considerate than the Schenectady location. I may have just happened upon non busy times though.The gentleman who assisted me during pickup and drop off was very polite and considerate of my time. There was an issue with the internet at the location the morning of pickup (which is how they process the rentals on their computer) and he was a quick thinker/problem solver. He was very efficient and straight to the point.

What’s my review? Currently driving a rental with an antifreeze leak so bad I have a headache each time I drive .... had to put antifreeze in myself. Then when I called the other day to get another car, I was told no, because they “ closed soon” and couldn’t “drive it to me”. So I’m supposed to drive my kids around in a car that I can barely see out, meanwhile toxic fumes come out of it if I want to be warm, but hey what do these guys care. My review would be, you’re better off walking. They suck

The worst customer service experience I have EVER had. I recently tried to rent a mini-van and needed to ensure that the back seats reclined for my mother who was recovering from major surgery. The rep indicated that he could not guarantee that they reclined and would not go check or provide the model so I could research online. He could not be bothered with much, which was the experience I had the last time I rented there. He proceeded to tell me that if I booked it, and it didnt work out, Id be on the hook for $180 cancellation fee. He was completely disinterested in being helpful at ALL.I called Enterprise, they could not tell me if the seats reclined (it was their call center, not the actual location), the rep took my reservation, told me I could check out the few options they had on the lot and would take payment only if the vehicle would work for my situation. That is a reasonable solution.I have rented from Hertz before for work but will NEVER rent from them again. I didnt appreciate the dismissive attitude of their staff. Enterprise all the way!

I got a discount on a 4 day rental through Hertz and discount through NRA. I absolutely was 100% satisfied!! The vehicle they gave me was extremely comfortable, which was needed for a 4 hour business trip, and gas efficient! Very quick and roomy! They were very fast to get all information in and get me out the door and into the car, excellent customer service A++

Customer service is horrible, close early on Saturdays and not open on Sunday. For a car rental location they definitely dont work with a tradesman hours. All you get told is you can go to the airport and pay out of pocket when its through my insurance. Will never recommend them.

Poor customer service skills. Downgraded my reservation from G class to F class after there was an issue with it. Did not offer any form of refund or compensation. Unhelpful and disinterested in finding any better solution. Ive had better luck with Hertz at other locations.

Made a reservation for a full size car for 4 business travelers. Had confirmation for a late afternoon pick-up (4:00 PM). Arrived before 5:00 and they already rented the full size to a walk-in. Guy didnt apologize. He even said if you would have showed up on time we had a car for you. I rarely give reviews but this bad customer service prompted me to do so.

I had a client drop off a vehicle when his vehicle was repaired. The body shop forgot to tell Hertz for a whole WEEK that my client had returned the vehicle. They never sent me the bill to be paid for and instead they took it out of my clients checking account for the full two weeks. They will not own up that they need to reimburse him for one WHOLE WEEK that they charged him for having the vehicle just sit there RETURNED. My client has been in the negatives and keeps being over drafted because Hertz will not reimburse him for their amount after the vehicle had been returned.Not very fair.

First of all, never, ever, ever pre pay for a car from these thieves. I reserved and prepaid for a car online. When I tried to take possession of the car, they would not allow us to take it because we did not have the credit card with us that we rented the vehicle with. That is, we didnt have the one with my husbands name on it and the vehicle was in his name. I had mine (same account) and my husband had his license and documents from the internet confirming the reservation, but NO....they wouldnt let us have the car. We left and I was so furious I cancelled the reservation. A week later , I find out they KEPT $100 because I cancelled in less than 24 hours! Thats right....$100 for absolutely NOTHING other than aggravation that THEY caused! I tried to explain the situation with customer service to get my money back and they basically told me Too bad. Needless to say, I will never rent from them and will tell everyone I know and review everywhere I can so that others dont make the same mistake. I cant afford to throw away $100, but apparently this big horrible corp feels just FiNE about stealing it from me.
