We have been dealing with Hewlynn for many years and have always referred our clients in need of pool supplies, advice, bbq items , propane , and much more and we’ve always gotten back a “Thank you so much” Michelle is very knowledgeable and will find anything you may need for your pool, garden or backyard patio. Today I opened my pool and as I was putting the filter together a part broke 😖I ran to Leslie Pools and they didn’t have it 😖.I went into a Panic mode. So I went Hewlynn Home & Garden on DPA and Jay the salesman helped me found the correct part.Thank You Hewlynn Home you Made my Father’s Day 😊

We bought topsoil, from Hewlynn Home and Garden Center in Deer Park, to use in our garden pots, after watering the plants for a few days, the sand start appearing in the pots. lots of sand in the topsoil. We were very disappointed after all the hard work we put in in our pots all around the house, we called them and the guy said it is normal to have so much sand because we are in Long Island and that there is sand everywhere. SMH.

(Drop mic)I’ve been a customer for just over two years since moving into the neighborhood and i have nothing but a positive experience every single time I visit, you’re not only getting a competitive price and excellent customer service but you’re also getting a weath of knowledge and support from the staff which always have the correct advice and solution.I trust the advice I get at hewlinns thus will continue to be my first and only choice for all my pool-related needs.

I routinely go here for propane refills. My wife went there today for an exchange and the guy there was beyond rude. There was a couple there that was shopping for pavers and they were being led on that the job could be started next week even though material is on back order. Coincidentally we are having pavers done and we had an availability issue so my wife let them know. The guy retaliated and made my wife wait to get the propane exchange. Good luck keeping customers being this way.Response to your comment:Why should I be obligated to bring this issue to your attention as the person in charge representing your company should have handled the situation differently. This person that was there, an older man, could have been you for all I know. I generally saw a lady there when I stopped by for propane or mulch. I never had an issue in the past as she was always polite.I know that Cambridge in Toffee Onyx had a 3 week lead time and it was exactly what this other customer was looking for. For the record my project was not delayed I had to opt to use Nicolock instead of waiting. The person there tried to sell the job saying they would be able to do it the next week. My wife heard which product they were looking for and politely suggested they double check as we were having issues getting that ourselves.Your person in charge got irritated because she provided this customer with the information (which in turn they asked the question and your employee acknowledged they had to check because everything is on back order). Lastly, as for your limited customer service, this person called younger ladies out which went to assist my wife and in turn this man redirected her and said my wife can wait. Nothing like you imply, and for the record my wife was in line in front of the others.

I had pea gravel, mulch and topsoil delivered. All delivered on time and too quality. The top soil was the highest quality and I did not need to break anything up or have to add anything to it. Highly recommend Hewlyn for home landscape projects!

Not very good, had little to no gardening supplies, more patio furniture and pool equipment than gardening supplies, if your a small gardener I would stay far away from this place, very bad
