I absolutely love Hicksville Physical Therapy! Never have I had such a comprehensive PT experience from such caring, patient and knowledgeable staff. They really All go above and beyond. I have herniated discs and a shoulder injury. Even their clientelle are such a warm and friendly group. Everyone says hello and inspires each other to push through the discomfort. I just wanted to share that this is the best experience by far that I have had at any PT place on Long Island. Thank You So Much Guys!
Hicksville Physical Therapy brought back my mobility and my life. Dr. Dan, Alison, Brian, and North make you feel at home. These professionals are warm and friendly, AND know what they are doing. The place itself is immaculate with well-maintained equipment. I actually look forward to going because I am always the better for it. Even Lori, the most competant and friendly receptionist is an inspiration!
Amazing physical therapy! New K Laser machine is awesome! The staff is so friendly, and they really want to help you feel better! I had 2 cervical spine surgeries within 3 years, which left me with 16 screws, a titanium plate, and rods in my neck. I was in a lot of pain, and wanted to get relief. About a year ago, I tried my first K Laser treatment. I couldn’t believe how quickly it worked to relieve my pain. I had another surgery for my back a few months ago, which failed, and due to doctor error, I had incurred several complications such as total numbness of my leg/foot and right arm/hand pain. (Spinal Cord Stimulator- Don’t get it.) After 5 months and very little process, I went to see Dan again at Hicksville PT. He reviewed my MRIs to determine what area of my spinal cord was injured. He advised me that he has the new K Laser machine that is 35% better than the machine he had last year. After my first treatment with the new K Laser, my foot started to endlessly tingle, which is a good sign of healing. The following day, my foot didn’t feel like it was in a tight cast anymore. It felt looser, and I finally feel like I’m on the road to recovery. I have another appointment tomorrow, and I’m looking forward to more healing and recovery. Thanks Hicksville Physical Therapy!
I have 2 stress fractures in my right ankle and was in a boot for 6 weeks. Once the boot came off I still had pain. I started coming to Hicksville Physical therapy for the k-laser! I love what it has done for me my pain is almost completely gone now and I am walking much better! The staff is very nice and very knowledgeable! Especially Dan and North. I am so excited about the k-laser I’m not going to use it every time I feel a slight injury coming on it’s definitely worth the money!!

Its a positive, happy place! From the moment you enter, you are greeted by a warm, caring, and efficient receptionist. Next, you are evaluated and given an individualized program using state-of-the-art equipment directed by a professionally trained and friendly staff who encourage and support your needs all along the way. Any questions or concerns are addressed without hesitation. Hicksville PT helped me! I highly recommend it!
I had a wonderful experience at Hicksville Physical Therapy. I have TMJ of the jaw and never thought PT would help but it did. When I first came there I felt like my head was constantly under water. After just 6 visits I feel amazing. Daniel Oest and his staff are so nice and make you feel very comfortable. I would definitely recommend Hicksville Physical Therapy.
Extremely professional and efficient. I have had my husband treated here for severe back pain, and now I am being treated for mobility issues during a high-risk pregnancy. The team does a great job of ensuring you make progress as soon as possible while also focusing on sustainable results.
Hicksville Physical is hands down the best physical therapy place on Long Island. I have had back pain for over 15 years. 2 herniated discs and no matter what chiropractor or physical therapist I went to no one can seem to fully fix me. Hicksville PT apparently has the magic touch bc I havent felt this good in ages!
I would like to mention what a wonderful and very professional experience I had at Hicksville physical therapy. I had meniscus surgery and DAN the physical therapist reduced my scare tissue so my stiff knee was no long stiff and restored complete mobility to me I highly recommend coming here. STU
All therapists are Knowledgable and help reach realistic health goals. I entered with a sports injury and was able to recuperate within a manageable time frame so that I can get back to playing. The equipment is also new and clean. Thank you so much everyone there! Keep up the good work!

2022-03-22My experience at Hicksville Physical therapy has been wonderful. The staff is top notch and very accommodating. Before I started laser therapy, I was in a lot of pain. Dr Oest put me on a convenient, pain free treatment plan and I feel much better. Elisha and Mike have been my personal therapists and I couldn’t ask for better. A special thank you goes out to Lori, who has been very tolerant of my last minute phone calls to change or make appointments. You all make me feel at home. Thank you Hicksville Physical Therapy.

2022-06-22I am always amazed at the lack of manners, respect, compassion I have encountered at many medical facilities. Hicksville PT is a welcomed exception. Everyone I have encountered goes out of their way to be friendly and professional - from the receptionist Lori as well as therapists Dan and Erica. The facility is super clean and the process is efficient. After much research I decided to have laser therapy for a rare disease- pulmonary fibrosis - which adversely affects breathing. I do believe the treatments are helping me breathe better. I travel 30 minutes to attend my appointments but it is well worth it!

2022-03-01I have been using Hicksville PT for 8 years on an as needed basis. Since March 2015 I have had multiple surgeries requiring Physical Therapy follow up. All but one time I attended HIcksville PT with complete success with my rehab. After one of my surgeries I attended a larger Physical Therapy group where I wasn’t treated as a whole person. I felt as if I was the “2:45 client”; not being checked on during my exercises and when I had a question or concern someone other than my intake PT spoke with me… without knowing my case or checking my chart. Needless to say I changed back to Hicksville PT immediately.I feel as if I am a part of my treatment plan at Hicksville PT and am comfortable speaking with any of the staff members who are always willing to listen and help. I also utilize the acupuncture and massage therapy which has accelerated my healing process. The staff is competent, professional, friendly and attentive. It’s quite evident that this offices’ main goal is for the patient to return to their optimal level of themselves.

2022-03-04I found Dan Oest back in 2012 for a herniated Disc that I needed help with. 2 out of 3 doctors I saw said I needed surgery but the 3rd dr said I could try PT for 3 months, 3x a week. I am so glad I did! Dan prescribed exactly what I needed. He has so many options at the office, decompression machine, K laser, acupuncture, massage and ultrasound.Aside from all the exercises they taught me, the decompression table and the K laser really worked for me!I cant say enough about him and ALL of his staff! They are all so knowledgeable and caring. I continue to go at least every other week for maintenence or anything else that comes up 😉. Many of my family members have also had much success here.They are always so helpful! Dan, Erica, Alicia, Lori, Jason, Mike, Nick and everyone.... you guys are awesome! Thanks for all you do for me and my family!

2022-03-02I absolutely love all practitioners and all people in this office. Tgey are very professional and helpful and know how to help a person get better quickly and with recommendations for home exercises. Ask a question and get a quick response. Exercises and manipulation for all body parts that are affected by accident or condition. I particularly like humor abd working out with the help of machines, massage and manipulation as well as hot or cold therapies and stim. . They have cold laser therapy to help with pain and strengthening any area tgat has been affected. Everyone is pleasant and helpful.I go 2 or 3 times a week to get all my needs met.Thank you Erica, Lori, Mike and Everyobe else who make a person feel better 😊

2022-02-25The worst. At first Dan seemed caring g and professional. I was assigned a terrific PT. Unfortunately.,he left and I was left to fly on my own. The staff was rude and hostile espiscally Nor. This guy had it out for me. Maybe he has a problem with LGBTQ people. Dan seem to disappear into his office.when I saw him he ignored me. The staff on cell phones and gossip g with each other.i NEVER had such a disastrous experience with any other PT.One saving grace the woman at the front desk Laurie. After that it was all down the toilet.Stat away especially LGBTQ.

2022-03-06Been coming in since 2014 for three to fours months as needed. Recent THA op was Nov 2021 with the expertise of the team my recovery was smooth.Wouldnt go elsewhere. Therapist are great and pta are great as well.I recommend Hicksville Physical Therapy.

2020-06-30Hicksville PT has been an answer to a long over due back problem. I’ve been suffering for about a year now with herniated discs in my lower back to which I received three epidural pain medication injections of which none helped, but rather added to the pain. The treatment that I now received at Hicksville PT has been a great improvement. The staff is wonderful and I would highly recommend that you visit them.Many thanks to Dr Dan & Staff !Rob A

2021-02-26Brought my mom here as she’s been having upper back pain. First visit was great. I believe we saw the actual physical therapist. Nailed the issue, massaged a bit, and really got to the root of the problem. But unfortunately it’s downhill from there. The individuals they have working the machines and daily visits seem new, unprepared, and so low energy and lacking info. My mom is in her 70’s. I wanted to feel comfortable letting her return on a weekly basis knowing she’d be taken care of and that just wasn’t the case. Extremely unimpressed.
