I absolutely loved my experience at Higher Dose. I love that we are given a spacious private room with plenty of space to change and a nice big washroom with shower. There are so many unique curated touches that add to the experience such as the mood lighting, the charcoal water, the tea tree soaps in the shower etc. In addition, Jesenia welcomed us and showed us around the space upon arrival, she did an excellent job she was well informed and very sweet. I have been regularly booking infrared saunas since my first visit here, I highly recommend checking out Higher Dose.

I went last Friday for the first time with a friend for the quick DOSE of 30 minutes to the Howard Hotel location. I have to say we had a magnificent experience. Brigitte guided and explained the process. AMAZING results after one session. I slept 10 hours! I barely sleep 5 hours a day due to stress. My skin looks amazingly soft and glow. Absolute relaxed after only 30 min. We would like to come back again and get if possible so kind of package for more sessions!

I do not recommend the sauna blanket. I just received my sauna blanket Tuesday. It came very defective. The numbers on the controller are glitching. It did not heat up at all. Also the zipper at the bottom was already coming apart. Super disappointed in this product and company. They make you think you’re buying something very high end when it is not. The customer service is really bad. I would expect a new blanket sent right away, since we are paying a lot of money for this “high end” product, but sadly that is not happening. Only one email saying it will be sent to to troubleshooting. Also no one answers the phone for customer service.

My favorite fix! i am addicted. i enjoy coming solo for a detox and recently my partner has been joining me to comeevery 2 weeks. this is my go to. i only wish there were more locations :)

Sauna itself-Really does feel quite different than a traditional sauna. Much more tolerable and less “I’m in an oven.” Less drying too – I wore contact lens throughout without feeling like they were drying out or melting into my eyes.-You sweat, but in a less dramatic way than you might expect.-The sauna itself is totally fine for one person but it’s possible to book a session for two people and that would be REALLY tight. There’s just one bench and you’d pretty much need to sit upright the entire time with two people.11 Howard-Lovely. Basically, they’re repurposed hotel rooms that would be way small for this. So you walk in and there’s essentially a sauna box in the middle of the room, and no other furniture. There’s a big water cooler thing and a mini-fridge with eucalyptus towels and complimentary Perriers. And then a normal sort of hotel bathroom.-The bathroom has very nice products in it (Osea, Sol Janeiro brand stuff) so it’s great to shower the sweat off in after the sauna, but it’s not fully stocked with deodorant spray, combs, etc. You’d have to BYO if you plan to sauna and then go straight to something other than your home, but if you just want to rinse off, it’s perfect.Overall experience-Extremely relaxing. TBH the perfect use case feels like booking this at 8 PM on a Friday night after a longgg week and then going home and immediately going to sleep. I’m not sure that it did anything appearance wise, and it’s not enough of a sweatfest that it feels like a weight loss thing (at least for a single session.) But it was a really nice way to spend an hour.-The best part of the whole thing is that it’s entirely self-contained. No other people. No awkward navigation of rules around towels or bathing suits (or not.) No talking. The room is dark and there’s a Bluetooth speaker. I played Dark Side of the Moon. That’s the vibe.Final verdict-Not going into the rotation as something I MUST DO AGAIN REGULARLY but it was a good experience. A 60 min session is $65 (one person) so while it’s not cheap, it’s within “hey I had a long week/weekend/whatever” range without too much guilt. Also would make for a good gift.

For what it is, it’s a pretty nice setup. You get an entire empty apartment to yourself with a high end sauna in it. Not sure if the whole light therapy thing has any benefit though.

Love Higher Dose. Thanks to Liz Van Voorhis for sending me there. Room/sauna were so clean. Staff is excellent, warm and lovely. So grateful for the water they provide, both cold and room temp. I had to bring my own to the last infrared sauna I went to. Love that I have complete privacy with my own bathroom and shower. The room was really nice. I had a great experience. I’ll be back a lot this winter!

First time at higher dose and I LOVED it. The huge private rooms are so nice. The sauna within is so nice. They also have alkaline and tap water for you to stay hydrated, and rose mist to spritz on your skin after your session. They have a bluetooth speaker as well. I put on a meditation playlist. I definitely want to come back with my partner and do a session together.

Had a nice experience here with a friend. I like the private room and they have lots of good products in the bathroom. The infrared sauna was not as hot as I expected. They also give CBD gummies. I’m coming back and taking my boyfriend!

Great employees who work there and great service they provide! Spa is perfect! Its not a hype, this place is legit!
