Never answer the phone harassing have a bad attitude disrespect and miserable employees. They dont need to go through everyones belongs to bring stuff into the place they should do it for employees if they do it for patients. I am so, sick of these people they cant take orders from other doctors or hospitals they only want you to see there useless doctors. Never give right medicine or medicine on time. This Lpn named lily is very rude and disrespectful getting up in my face one time one of the aides had to tell her to come down she doesnt need a job as a nurse very abusive to patients! I wouldnt send none of my family Friends here! Allergic to aspartame. Asked for regular gingerale. Still waiting for 9 to 10 oclock meds now 2 am. This aide I asked today told me to stop calling the call bell been waiting for 6 hours for a drink and medicine. Refused to bring my order up to my room like they are holding my stuff that I paid for I had dresses, deodorant and perfume. Had to call the cops and they made them bring it upstairs. Still havent brought it in my room ny doctor also aske for physical therapy to be done they came once and didnt comeback. Someone is going to get hurt or die Im praying not because, these people are incompetent! This cleaning lady is the worst asking me to clean my own and very disrespectful! Do not send your family/ friends here if you care about them! Yet again. I am having this problem with this nurse Lily she shouldnt be answering the floor be in nursing having a very disrespectful attitude telling a patient who is having trouble breathing get up and get their own water she hasnt been able to walk of oxygen in weeks not giving her water pill! Giving her a cpap not a bipap is dangerous! This place should be closed down! They are now trying to use my social security number to try get my banking info whichI refuse to give thats theft I dont have to give my info. This receptionist by the name of Carol kept Ed hanging up on my insurance United Healthcare which is a great insurance they never sent the bill to them. She refused to transfer me to any extension even when I told her I couldnt get my call bell. Carol hangs up the phone on my family was nasty to the ambulance drivers. If I was the owner scaring people away from his establishment I would fire her. Havent cleaned room in days! I refused to buy and more cleaning items except when I clean the tables or my toilet. The woman Linda a patient cursing me out saying that I am a slob even though that I bought cleaning supplies and the cleaning crue doesnt clean the floors everyday. A person should have a bath everyday.

Delivered food here, called the customer and told me they’d be outside after they finished with their patient. I was there for a total of 7 minutes and their supervisor stormed outside and yelled at me with a very nasty attitude, claiming I have been waiting for a “half hour”. That lady made it very clear how they treat the people in this nursing home. Wouldn’t send any of my family here if that’s how they do things.

They harassed and try to call the police on my Grandma which is not responsible for my Healthcare because, my doctor wrote a letter that said I can bring these items in like my medicine in because, the facility got it and they have no right to prosecute my Grandma I picked it up at the store not , her. They lied about medicine being all over my bed when they took me to the hospital they had me on a cpap on a bipap label over it almost killing me the paramedics new that and its documented too. They also stole my IPhone 13 promax.

Still waiting after hour for a breathing treatment the nurse, hasnt came. Housekeeper complaining of me have to keep my room clean I should clean my room aide telling me that because, I am 33 that I dont have to have problem which I am supposed to be on water pill twice a day they havent been giving my medicine. They are complaining about me having my menstruation on. Had to go to get these cyst on my ovaries checked out not tried to get an appointment but, I found one. Vassar put, me back on my medicine they refuse to give it to me and they still are pulling up my covers and my dress without permission. They can ask if you need to be changed sometimes I ask for med etc. and still Dont get it. This place is ridiculous going through someones purse. I am still waiting for a bipap. The onbusement was part of my care meeting they are still not doing anything.

My mom has been there for a month. I find there’s a shortage of help. I find the help does not follow through with complete needs for patient s. Things aren’t always followed through. Connecting with staff can be IMPOSSIBLE. Please. It’s our loved ones. Correct. Connect. Family members hope for full proper care for our loved ones.

In my 3 months at Highland I had a great experience. The staff is all very polite and accommodating. All my needs were met in a timely manner. Their OT and PT department is excellent, they allow you to take your time and let you work at your own pace and in your comfort zone. I created many friendships here among residents and staff. I met a few dogs during my stay which always brightened my day. I loved all the activities they had for us, including the Hot cocoa cart which was my favorite. Highly recommend for friends and family.

Try to drop off a coat for my cousin which is freezing cold and the front desk receptionist said she doesn’t need one. Are you kidding me it’s 24 degrees outside. Who are you to state whether or not someone needs a jacket in the winter time. That’s disgusting behavior. Couldn’t take her to her appointment. They have 2 vans there. My cousin was neglected here.

I don’t usually leave reviews but in this case I feel compelled to.I was hesitant and had reservations having my mom go here for rehabilitation. The admissions director was aware I had concerns. The reviews both online and personal from people I know were not the greatest. I can say that the nursing staff and PT’s were great. However, that’s about it. When I was doing a training there, I was contacted by the financial department stating that my mom owes $4700 and they would need it in the next 2 days before she goes home. They needed at least $1500.00 before she left. I asked about a settlement, as was discussed with the financing manager weeks before when I talked to him about something else. The woman acted like it wasn’t an option until she went and asked. She came back and said they can settle the bill for $2700.00 but it would need to be paid in full. The next day, I paid the $2700.00. She said she would email me the receipt when my mom was to leave the following day and my mom would have a copy. When I saw the copy a few days after my mom was discharged , the original amount stated on the form that was given was $3400.00, not $4,700.00. Feeling as though that was a little shady and we were taken advantage of, I called and left a message asking for a call back. I wanted to know why I was lied to and told that my moms bill was $4700.00! This was on September 23rd.... not a peep from them.... until my mom gets a call today from them stating that they need her to take care of her debt. She explained that her daughter paid it in full and they said they would mark it down!!! Why is it not marked down already?! I sent another email saying I want another call. I would advise people to really make yourself aware when it comes to finances in this place. Your loved one could be taken advantage of. I’m giving the stars for the nursing staff because they were great.

The doctor was good and when she finally returned my calls I was relieved that she was able to address my concerns and answer my questions. My mom did improve.But the staff was unbelievably and irresponsibly uncommunicative. We were not informed about important developments and decisions. No one there returns calls. Half the staff doesnt even have voice mail so if you, for instance, need to speak to the nurse manager and she is on the other line or not at her desk, you cannot even leave her a message.No one seems capable of looking at a chart or getting an update from whomever they are relieving, so if someone just came on duty or just got back after two days off there is literally NO WAY they will give you any information.All of this did not engender confidence in the care they were providing and I became increasingly worried that my mom might be in danger-- because of the COVID quarantine, I couldnt be there in person. Maybe if Id been in their faces more they would have been more professional and responsible, but I would never take that chance again.I do not recommend this place at all.

Faith the administrator has been truly my hero. Anytime Ive needed to know something, she has ensured I heard back in a timely fashion. Her staff has gone above and beyond, making the best of the pandemic. I can always reach my brother, and even video with him. I cant wait for him to come home, but sleep better knowing the care he is getting is so good. Stay safe and thank you!!
