They arrived on time, and were very helpful with our transition into our new home. Pricing was fair, and we were charged a flat rate. They did a vision inspection before we booked the move which made us feel more comfortable in moving forward. I told them I didnt want any sudden charges to pop up, so they did all this before they came and honored the flat rate. I would recommend them.
They were professional and fast. They just left about an hour ago. They were able to give us a flat rate quote, which didn’t change when the move was done. I haven’t noticed any damage. So far I’m very impressed. I wouldn’t second guess in recommending them to family and friends.
We needed to move from Brooklyn to Philadelphia. We called around on short notice, and decided to go with Highlawn. The movers were great! They showed up wearing masks, they were nice to my family. They gave us updates when they showed up, and when they would be at the new location. We were charged a flat rate, which was nice. David and his team are the best. Thank you!!
They were fast in getting our stuff out of the home. We packed most of our things days prior to them coming. They had the truck loaded by noon and we were in our new home by the end of the day. They had extra supplies like blankets and some boxes we needed. Im very happy with the move.
ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY TO EVEN CONSIDER FOR YOUR MOVING NEEDS!!!! This company quoted on my 1 bedroom apartment $3700 then raised to $5700 then went to $7397. Pricing was the minor issue here. They promised to get my shipment delivered in 3 days but Max would be 10 days. 18 days later our shipment was still sitting in their storage, attempts to deliver were made only because of my threats to sue them. Upon delivery, my $4000 treadmill was damaged, my couches were not covered properly and dragged through dirt, my new home has digs in the walls, they said everything the disassembled they will reassemble however, excuses were made when it came to my sons crib. We were so desperate for our shipment we agreed to receiving it on the holiday weekend, delivery arrived at 10pm!!! After many calls to this company and all the LIES told we will NEVER recommend them. They give false prices to get business.
I moved from New York to Seattle, Washington. I used Highlawn Movers. It was very stressful thinking about moving after reading so many horrible stories online but they made it very easy for me. Everything was super straight forward and simple. They picked up for the price they said they would and they delivered at the time they said they would. The packers were excellent. They put blankets on all the furniture. They took real good care of my stuff. The delivery guys in Washington were also professional and polite.Josh stayed in contact from start till the end. I already recommended Highlawn movers to 2 of my colleague and after using their service they are also very happy. I would recommend them to anyone. I cant thank Highlawn Movers enough for making this move as stress free as possible. Thank You so much Josh and Susan for making my move easy. Josh and Susan you guys are awesome.
We recently moved from Manhattan NY to Atlanta GA and after searching online and getting a bit frustrated a friend recommend Highlawn. We had a representative come over our home, took an inventory list and gave us a quote for the move that seem very reasonable. After comparing rates we decided to go with them. For a two bedroom apartment we have a decent amount of stuff and some fragile items like large tv and few pieces of art. My husband had to be at work that day so I had to deal with the movers. Four guys showed up they were fast, courteous, and seem to do the job properly plus some last minute loose items were packed as well. Four days later we received the items. I was glad that delivery was on time and with no damage, to be quite honest I was happily surprised and impressed. I do recommend to do a proper packing and labeling as we did which makes unpacking a lot easier and saved lots of time. I will highly recommend this guys and use them again in the future.
If I could give zero stars to this company I would. They do not understand the meaning of a contract. We had a representative, Josh, come to our house to do a binding estimate. On the day of our move, once they had already loaded half of our furniture, they tried to change the price of the move by almost $2,000. Our original contract stated that they had a four-day window. We were driving across the country and planned to arrive on the first day of our window. Josh called me and told me the move could only happen either 3 days before our contract window or a full week later. We weren’t even half-way across the country and couldn’t coordinate our move. Currently, we DO NOT have our furniture and Josh is trying to add an additional $700 to the price of our move because he says that they need to hire a smaller truck for delivery. He never specified the size of the trailer in the contract but is trying to charge us anyway. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this company. We are mid-move and they have made everything incredibly stressful. The person responsible for our move does not communicate with us and has changed the cost of the move several times. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
Ive used Highlawn twice to move apartments in the past 3 years and was very happy with their service and bids. The bid was very reasonable and the move time was faster than the time estimate I got. The movers arrived on time and were efficient with packing the truck and getting to my place and unloading. They did a good job taking apart my dining room table and reassembling it. Everything I packed and the things they packed arrived intact without a scratch. The moving men were pleasant and worked hard in a short amount of time. I have had moves where I have been anxious the entire time. This move was stress free. I highly recommend them if you are planning a move.
Highlawn made the move from Bronx, NY to OH a breeze. The movers were fast and efficient. They took apart the beds and wrapped all the pieces. Nothing got damaged. All the stuff was delivered within a couple of days. The on-site quote they gave me was close to the actual moving day quote. I ended up with three extra boxes and I added two chairs to the inventory. The quote was very reasonable considering it was a long distance move.A bonus was that I received complimentary boxes and tape which all came in handy!I really recommend Highlawn Moving & Storage.P.S. I didn’t get paid or receive any reward for this review.
Good people to know in NYC. This is the 3rd time Ive done business with Highlawn. Moving is a lot of work and hassel for me. I live alone on the Upper West Side and work full time in the hospital, so there is really not much time left for me to prepare and pack for my move. Living in NYC, I use movers every 1-2 years average. This recent move was fantastic also, just like the last move. They are very friendly and personable which was one of the reasons I retained their services the first time. The price is very reasonable, well priced for the value Ive been getting. They have respect for peoples belongings and I really like the treatments and respects from this company. The guys arrived early to get parking spots and were super swift. They know the drill well, very professional and careful with their work. They even offered me a $25.00 discount as a returned customer on this move which was really nice. I feel like a VIP now. I have added them on my contact for my next year move again.
Like:)) Fabulous service! Pricing was clear cutted. Our familys decision to choose Highlawn movers to handle our move was primarily based on the comfortable feelings weve received during our several telephone interviews with different movers. We felt comfortable because the staff were knowledgeable, responsive and straight forward when answering our questions every time when we called. The price was very reasonable after comparing with 6 different companies, ranking #3 from the top price quoted. We were especially impressed with how efficient the moving team worked on our move day. It was surprising that these 4 movers didnt talk much with each other, yet everyone knew what to do together as a team and individually. We were Lucky!! All went very swift and smooth. We were very happy with the job done and have reserved this same team to handle my office move for next month. The movers and staff all around were nice and pleasant to work with who had made our entire moving process easy, simple and seamless.
Moving sucks no matter who you are, but even more so when youre elderly. When I found an elderly family member was moving, I knew it would be impractical as he lives alone, states away from me. He may be young at heart, but surely not capable of an intense move!I began looking into moving companies, and I decided on Highlawn Moving. Boy am I glad I did! They made the process so easy, putting us at ease that our loved one would have an easy move to his new home. Highlawn Moving was communicative, attentive, and helped an enormous move -- complete with new furniture for his new place as a snow bird -- without a hitch. Seriously, Highlawn Moving is an awesome company and I highly recommend.
I mostly dealt with Mark and Susan. They were nice to work with and I thought I was in good hands. My issue was that items came very delayed (about 2 weeks ). The company they used for my items to be unloaded was very rude and unprofessional. They charged me extra because I was moving to second floor and there were too many stairs when I was clearly told the number of flights would not be a problem before and clearly told them Ill be on the second floor. In addition a lot of the items were damaged. They broke the corner of my marble dining table. My desk got very misaligned. Scratches on my furniture and my led bulbs just disappeared from their shipment all together. Maybe they are better locally. They have good and affordable prices but just be careful when moving expensive furniture. What I really disliked was how long they took to process my claims, it took like 4 months.
Want to give a huge Shout-out to the full Highlawn & Storage team. I moved from NJ to CA across country. I was moving a business and 2 homes. Highlawn was there to help. I couldn’t move everything I had to stored for a few years, recently I had one of my storage rooms delivered to me in California . When I opened my boxes I was so surprised, it was like I just packed the day before. Everything was in good condition and nothing was broken. Music equipment, furniture, pictures, even my mink coats. It was unbelievable; there wasn’t any dust at all. My sofa was in excellent condition and they are very responsible and they definitely care. I highly recommend them to all my family and friends . Thank you again Highlawn Storage you guys are the best.A.B.
Bait & switch pricing- so stressful!I don’t write reviews, but I feel very slighted by this company and I hope this review saves other people from getting bamboozled and encourages Highlawn Moving to refund me for the overcharges.Susan quoted me a price over the phone, 3 movers 9 hours $1100 flat fee (no hidden fees) and the option to do it by the hour at 115/hr. I figured I would disassemble everything prior to their arrival and pitch in with the packing and unloading and I could shave an hour or two off the time. The phone call was very thorough, I went through every item I’m my apartment in detail, discussed details of the apartment buildings (from and to), and and asked directly if there were any other fees that would be applicable so I would not get caught off guard.Moving morning. The movers arrived with 4 guys instead of 3 and there was a new hourly rate (150/hr) and a new flat rate of $1,284 ($184 is not insignificant for us). I got Mark, the dispatcher, on the phone and asked that the flat rate be the same as the original contract, which I paid a $200 deposit on - I should not have to pay more because they brought 4ppl instead of 3. Mark told me the new price was because the amount of stuff was more than what they anticipated. I had the thorough itemized estimate from Susan and we had fewer items (we left a couch and shelves for the next tenet). I asked Mark to tell me what specifically changed that increased the price from the original quote - no answer. The majority of the movers seemed to disappear in the morning - one guy was inside prepping things and he was on the phone half the time to try to figure out the price with Mark.At that point we had to find a new company or choose between a flat rate $1284 or hourly 150/hr. It was made clear to us by the foreman that if we chose hourly, there would be no way to keep them from taking their time, and it would take at least the same amount of time as the flat rate. Several times he said “you have to choose- either you’ll win or you’ll lose.” But it felt like no matter what, we were losing because the terms were outside of the prior agreement, and we needed to move out that day.Not wanting to incentivize the movers to work slowly, my wife and I decided to go with the flat rate after they took off $50 (based on our 90 mins of back and forth conversation.)The move took 6 hours from arrival to last item unpacked, including the morning-slow down, lunch (which we provided) and all the time we spent on the phone with Highlawn. If the movers had been working at a consistent pace, it could have easily been done in 4 hours, maybe less, especially if I had been free to help, instead of re-clarifying the terms of the contract I had already agreed on.Overall, we are extremely dissatisfied with this company, and do not recommend them for others.UPDATE:Mark (who I think also goes by Josh) called me after the company got hold of this review. They refunded me a portion. I’m glad they made the effort to make it right, but wish I didn’t have to go through the frustration during the move, and the hassle of writing a bad review to get a fair price.
Professional and high-quality movers. We hired these guys to help us move from Brooklyn NY to Greenville, SC. These guys showed up on time and took the stress off our move. They were fast when it came to getting the job one. I didn’t notice any theft, damage or anything like that. I would use them again if I had to.
We have recently moved from New York, NY to Davie, FL and since we’ve used Highlawn Moving 3 years ago for a local move in Manhattan and were very happy, we decided to use them again for our Florida move. We have quite a few items that we were concerned with especially our grandfather’s glass curio and his heavy framed paintings. The guys that came on pickup were very efficient wrapping all of our furniture and as we saw them loading it into the truck we felt more at ease looking at the items nicely stacked. A week later another crew showed up in Davie for the delivery and everything was delivered. In total our move went very smooth and I would surly recommend this company
Little is as uncertain as a move based on having to sell your place and close on a new home. I had everything figured out and timed perfectly. Unfortunately, my lawyer didnt. And so, I had to keep Highlawn Moving on the edge of knowing until the last minute. We finally moved on the original date, but had to store everything in their storage.During the move, special care was taken to make sure everything was protected and moved without a scratch. Our small grand piano was treated royally. When it came time to move, we were able to agree on a mutually convenient move-in date and it all got here without a hitch. Even the three large plants arrived alive and are now thriving, after 3 weeks of storage!
The worst possible experience!1. Israeli and beyond shady. The owners name is David and he will use 3 other names to disguise himself.2. They tell you that you dont need insurance, then steal some of your belongings (more details below). I purchased insurance anyway.3. After they load the truck (they contract everything out), you receive a call from David stating your load required more space in the truck than estimated. He then increases the charge by 60% and holds your load hostage until you agree to the higher charge. (Dont fall for the Flat Fee lies they tell you).4. Add at least double the estimated time to for your load to be delivered.5. Binding Contract means absolutely nothing to David, he throws it out there in an attempt to get you to trust him. Complete BS.6. Since he contracts everything out, you items will be moved from Truck, to Hub, to another Truck, etc. Your load will be dropped, misplaced, stolen, broken, etc.7. The movers (again contracted out) will not unload your items until you pay them in Cash at the destination. Then when you count your missing boxes, they state they cant do anything about it.8. I have never been ripped off and more pissed than dealing with Highlawn!Stolen items:1. Laptop Computer and Electronics Equipment3. Shoes4. ClothingDamaged items:1. Ripped upholstery on Couch2. Broken Chair3. Broken DeskOver $5K worth of stolen items.Highlawns response: Well, we can reimburse $11 since you cant prove anything! I paid for insurance and this is the treatment I received. Disgusting.STAY AWAY FROM HIGHLAWN!Dont trust any rating above 1 Star, they are fake! Im sure he will comment on this rating and fabricate a lie as usual.Send me a private message I would be happy to provide screenshots of every email and text message from David, the owner.
If there was a “no star” option I’d pick that!Clearly this was a nightmare to begin with. My mom who is a senior citizen chose this moving company to assist her with moving from NY to OK. The people we spoke to over the phone did not inform us of the minor details that were essential upon delivery of our belongings.First off, their prices are ridiculous for the work they put in. If delivery is stated within 7-10days, then it should be just that. Our delivery was pick up on the 20th and wasn’t delivered to our new place until the 11th of the following month. And to make matters worse, it wasn’t even the same company that loaded our stuff up. That means they packed, repacked and repacked again. Not to mention, some of our items were damaged and broken.I wouldn’t recommend this company to ANYONE! Their communication is terrible and they will try and keep your stuff hostage if you don’t pay cash on delivery.
THIS COMPANY IS A NIGHTMARE BELEIVE ME!!!I will regret my entire life, that we didnt read the reviews before so I wouldnt had hired this company. And believe me Im a customer not the competency as they said they write the bad reviews.Everything started when we were looking for movers to do the job; a person called Josh went to my place in NY and check all the apartment to make a quote, he said that would be $1480 USD and that price wasnt gonna change. The moving was going to be from New York to Boston and was going to be delivered in the same day, that was the arrangement. The day (Friday Morning), they went to pick up my furnitures they arrived 1 hour late, when the people arrive they start packing everything and they said that my luggage with clothes wasnt included in the price, and the price was going to be higher, $1,640.00, 160 USD more. I tried to call the people in the office and they never picked up my call.Because, they were late I decided to accept as long as my furnitures was delivered in the same day, because the Boston Building has a schedule for tenants to move. When the people finished packing, they asked me to pay 60% in advance and of course the tip for the guys, I asked them at what time they were going to arrive there and they said by 6 pm. Just in time for the move.So they left the building and 30 minutes after, I received a call from David telling me that we werent going to receive our belongings until Monday or Tuesday because another customer wasnt ready to pack so we had to wait.I was shocked I didnt know what to do, I should had called the police and get my stuffs back, to hire another company. I yell them demanding the arrangement that we did, and they just said, Im sorry I can not do anything for you. After we call the same number a thousand times, the finally took the call and they said that they were gonna try to deliver the next day afternoon, when I asked at what time they said 9:00 PM, I told them again that the building has rules and I can not receive the movers at that time, they said that they were gonna try to be earlier but they were gonna call me on Saturday, and he (David) recommend me to stay in a hotel and ask the company the next Monday a reimbursement of the hotel. So I took my wife and my son (4 months old) to a friends house in NY, and waited,I spent another 200 bucks buying diapers the Saturday arrived and the time passed and at 2 PM, I called David to see what happened and he told me again that they will deliver at 9:00 PM, after I said ten times that I can not receive at 9:00 because first I was in NY and second the rules of the building. To cut a long story short, they pushed me to skip the rules of the building and the movers arrive 5 hours earlier from the arranged time on Sunday. I tried to keep the payment until they finished the move. But I couldn’t they were going to take my belongings again. They havent refund any money because they say that they didnt promise deliver the same day, and they told me another history. So DON’T USE THIS MOVERS EVER, I’M NOT THE COMPETENCY I’M A REAL CUSTOMER and I can probe it.
This is my second time moving with this company.I had a smaller move two years ago moving locally from Brooklyn to upper Manhattan in which the friendly staff and axcelent service brought me back. This time moving from Manhattan to Boca Raton FL.We have a two bed rooms moderately furnished apartment and just a few fragile items. The crew that came was quick and efficient, items were well wrapped and protected the delivery in Florida was done in a timely manner. One chair was scratched a bit on the bottom foot but the company took the responsibility to correct the issue.Ones again I was very satisfied and I would definitely recommend Highlawn Moving.
Very sketchy moving company. When they try to sell you the service, they make it sound magical and keep assuring you that you dont need insurance, and that the price is a flat fee plus/minus a few boxes is no problem and thats why they quote a flat fee. Even there emailed estimate has the quote has no hidden fees. I ended up having many problems with their people and service:1. Foreman helpers smelled of alcohol and one of them used my bathroom for 30 minutes. He ended up throwing toilet paper waste with s**t in a small bin instead of flushing it down the toilet.2. Foreman ended up charging me for 3 additional medium boxes which I have told would have been in the shipment an extra $110. Also wanted to charge me for a stroller which was part of bunched things which were quoted so I had to end up leaving the stroller behind.3. During the entire process I asked several times if my furniture would remain on the straight truck on which it was loaded. I was assured that it would not be reloaded (for fear of losing boxes, damaging furniture). To no surprise, they reloaded the furniture on an 18-wheeler (full size). Ive worked in logistics and you dont send 18-wheelers to residential communities. What if it didnt fit? Well thats where the hidden fees come in. Luckily it just got by.4. They told me that two people would arrive to unload. A single person unloaded and I had to help him.5. There were two missing boxes. They tried to explain that it was just a simple miscount (which it wasnt) but even in the event that it was a simple miscount - that means they were easily able to make up a box count to charge me an extra $110 in additional shipping? In any case, they gave me some weird claim evaluation gmail account to email my claim. They made up some standards and gave me a settled amount of $60.00 for the two boxes missing. They made this number up out of thin air. Its nowhere near the value of the contained goods, neither is it an acceptable amount for the basic coverage - especially when they charged me $110.00 for 3 boxes.I blame myself for not doing the research before about the company. Even just seeing that they use a simple yahoo email account for their company should have been a signal.I WOULD RECOMMEND GOING WITH ANOTHER COMPANY THAT IS MORE RESPECTABLE, EVEN IF A BIT PRICIER, IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME, STRESS, AND FURNITURE.
***WORST MOVE COMPANY!! DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!***They didnt deliver my furnitures the same day, even when we confirmed with them the same morning that the delivery should be the same day at evening. At the beginning they were so polite and responsible with everything, but the day of the move they arrived 1 hour late for pick up, then they said that the final cost will be higher. I had to pay in advance 60% of the total and the driver asked me for his tip in that moment, but he told me it was for his lunch in the way to deliver my furnitures.30 mins after he left I received a call from a different guy telling me that my furnitures will be deliver in 3 or 4 days more because the truck they sent me was shared with another customer... But they never told that before!!I had to sleep with a friend and buy all the basics for me, my husband and my baby!!! I had to spent around $300 usd between clothes, diapers, milk and an air mattress for the 3 days. The manager never took responsibility for the problem and never respond my complain.
If you want a quality, professional moving company who will move your personal property with care, look elsewhere. We used Highlawn Moving and Storage, Inc. in June 2015 only to have numerous problems. Their movers attempted to steal from us during pick up of our property. They damaged and lost numerous items of our property during the move; the value of all of these items exceeded $8000.The first issue was the movers attempted to steal from us while picking up our property. My mother-in-law (Maria) witnessed one of the movers trying to steal something out of the freezer in the garage as he was placing the item in one of their empty tape role boxes. As she came around the corner witnessing him placing it in the box, he quickly pulled the item out of the box, returned the item to the freezer, and closed the freezer. This was certainly not a mistake since I personally walked this man and the other two movers through the house to show them where I had organized the household goods that were to be moved in each room. There could have been no mistaking the freezer as an item that was to be shipped. This was definitely a blatant attempt to steal food from my in-law’s home. What’s shocking is we had just given them something to eat and provided beverages for them the whole day. She did not confront him at the time because I had left the home temporarily. She feared what could happen by confronting him directly. When I returned home, she told me about the incident. I called Highlawn Moving and Storage to report the incident to his supervisor. David [Cohen] called me back, and I informed him of the incident. He acted surprised and said the situation would be handled. Unfortunately, he did not seem to understand how unsafe this made us feel working with them. After all, they now had most of our personal property. They delivered our property later than the contractual timeframe (4-7 days was the contracted agreement; it took them 9 days). This was a considerable headache since they told us they would deliver it on Friday (after 3 days), then told us on Friday it would not be there until Sunday, then on Sunday said it would not be there until Tuesday, then Tuesday said it would not be there until Wednesday. It finally arrived on Thursday morning at 12:15am. Since we moved 800+ miles away, this was terrible since we arrived the first day they said our property would arrive. We had to wait in our new home with nothing for a week because they repeatedly lied about when they were going to deliver. This was especially hard since my wife was in her third trimester. The property damaged was our formal dining room table and China cabinet, antique family piano, bedroom shelves, three antique crystal bowls, a Lenox China saucer and plate, a dresser, and a large leather ottoman trunk. Items missing were two Lenox China bowls, a box with old family pictures and my wife’s makeup set, and a box with non-perishable food. Again, the value of all of these exceeded $8000.We submitted our initial detailed complaint on 18 June and did not receive a response until we checked on the status on 3 Aug. Initially they were only going to reimburse us $153. Their second offer was $203. It is incredibly insulting considering the value of the property they damaged. The total price for the move was a little more than $2300. Considering some of the main items shipped were damaged or lost, it is only reasonable for them to reimburse us much more than 11% of the price paid. Even after submitting a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, they still have not offered a fair settlement. This all started in mid-June; it is now Oct 20th, and we wish we had never used this company’s services. The fear, damages, loss, lies, and inconveniences were not worth it.
This has been one of the most worst experiences. BEWARE of this company. All they do is lie and steal your money. Delivered my items 2 weeks late and they blatantly ignored our calls when we tried to follow up. Movers would only deliver our items 75ft from the truck. Again, horrible experience and do not use this company.
Guys Please. Never do business with this Company. (I regret not reading the reviews first). Their sales person told us not to purchase any additional insurance because it was not needed. And because of this i got screwed over, They wanted me to sign an agreement for $300. The Item that was stolen from me was brand new and cost $2000. (SHAME SHAME SHAME ON YOU HIGHLAWN). Your company wasted my time and money. I curse your company, remember this message, your company will lose a lot of money for not fixing this.
I wish I could give them Zero Stars. They are thieves. They stole half of our clothes and books, our computer stereo speakers ,and more. They took ridiculously long to get our stuff to our new home. Worst Service in the whole state of New York...the whole United States of America.

2022-01-31They came highly recommended through Google Maps. After reading some of these reviews, I decided to give them a shot. They gave me a quote through a virtual consultation which I thought was nice. I packed all of my belongings before they showed up. They took apartment some of the heavy furniture which was a nice touch. They got everything moved into our new home 20 miles away, the same day. There were no sudden changes in pricing or anything like that. I feel everyone was professional, responsive when I would call, and pricing was very fair.

2022-04-105-star moving service. I hired these guys on very short notice, and they were the only ones that were able to help. The trucks were clean and they moved everything into the truck within 2 hours in a way to prevent shifting during our move. We only moved 40 miles away, but the entire move was done without any issues. They didn’t let me down on moving day.

2021-07-24Old trucks, No regard for your items. New $4000 treadmill scrached, scuffed and main screen damaged, does not work. Did not cover bottom of my new office furniture or 70 inch console, both scuffed and broken. Couch with chemical stain. Lost 1 huge box of ours. They loaded the truck and my fragile china and crystal was under heavy boxes on the truck. This was a $10k move and itwas an absolute fiasco. So upset and so many items damaged. Added additional stress to the already stressful move. Packed my tvs and large Glass items with no labels. Movers had my plasma tvs upside down. Horrible Horrible experience.

2022-01-19I used Highlawn now for 2 different moves, 1st one from my apt in NY to storage & then from my NY storage to my new apartment in Los Angeles, & in both moves I have been nothing but pleasantly surprised & happy w their service. From the initial estimate to the actual delivery of my items everyone that I delt with was professional & helpful and best of all my possessions all arrived safe & undamaged. As someone who’s experienced many moves, from my Miami to NY move & then whilst living in NY I moved to 4 different places in the 12 yrs I lived there & then my move to LA from NY, I can tell you I am quite qualified to be a reviewer of movers & I can vouch Highlanw movers & storage have earned both my business & highest review.

2022-04-12The estimate was done through virtual face time. I told them I wanted to be charged a flat rate only, and they were able to stick to that. We moved from a 2 bedroom apartment into a home in Brooklyn. The movers were professional, on time and did great. I would hire them again.

2022-02-18This is now the second time I’ve hired Highlawn to do a move for my family and I. It’s always been a great experience with these guys. Phone, email and text communication was never an issue. They gave me an update whenever I requested it. They showed up to my first home to load the truck, and drop off at the set times they were supposed to. The mover were friendly. I’m sure I’ll use them again in the future.

2022-04-13I was referred to this moving company, and I can see why. They did a fantastic job during our move to NJ. Communication was never an issue, and they gave me updates often whenever I would call. They delivered all our belongings the next day without any issues. If I could give them a better rating, I would.

2022-04-11I’ve hired Highlawn three different times now throughout the years. These movers were always on time, reliable and worked hard. In my years of using these guys, I never once had any issues arise out of any move. If I somehow decide to move again in the future, I wouldn’t hesitate in giving them a call.

2022-02-20I’m very please with their work. The movers were punctual, caring, on time. They took extra care of our furniture, televisions, the walls of our homes that were just painted. They were respectful and very helpful. Highly recommend these movers.

2022-03-26A complete nightmare. A by-the-book moving company scam. They used all the tricks that you want to avoid by contracting a place that looks professional - even that trick, they know. They charged extra for anything that was not on the contract, despite we did a VIDEO. But they deliberately leave enough room for the movers to load some of your stuff and leave some at your apartment. Then it comes that old trick of you pay more now in cash and well put it on the track. Or charge you extra for the tolls. Well. What tolls? We did not cross a single bridge. The trucks were clumsy and rented for the day. One guy was an alcoholic and had to use our restroom 6 times...Ill leave it here, you have the idea.If you hire these guys, get ready to be scammed.
