The security is terrible even with 30+ cameras installed. The staff are clueless as to whats going on and dangerous people in there. Constant fights. Constant thefts. Its like being in prison. And staff does nothing about it. Plus u can get banned easily from there only pick up area which can keep you safe from being jumped by gang members, the security at the partnership is a joke and ban you for disrespecting them or whatever they want to make up in there mind, leaving you not allowed on the property exposed on the streets with no one there to secure the area or keep you safe while you wait for the 2 hour pick up process to begin. I myself have been jumped 4 times. And also the city of Poughkeepsie police are the complete opposite of protect and serve the citizens, its more like. I dont want to do paperwork so Ill just let this guy with a potential homicide in his future go after he just hit someone in the head 4 times with a cinderblock. BIG EMFICISE ON SECURITY. THE BANNED PEOPLE NEED PROTECTION TO WHILE THEY WAIT. ABOUT 90% OF THE PARTNERSHIP SECURITY HAS TIES TO GANGS OR ARE ACTUAL MEMBERS.

I live there and it was ok and people would fight all the time and try to sleep its some what ok put u here people talking in the hall way and the food is just ok i made a lote of good friends and i will never for get it

Hillcrest is absolutely disgusting. Webster House ( overnight shelter) is out of control. Its dirty, people are blatantly obvious about their alcohol and drug use. The staff knows people are drunk and high and do nothing about it. People get into fights, but only one side gets banned. The staff has their favorites. And only the people they dont like get into trouble. Absolutely ridiculous.

I volunteer here, donate clothes & food. I respect what the staff do here. Theyre very polite, understanding, non-judgemental and progressive.

I have been in the SRO programs and this is the worst they have too many rules its like you be in a halfway house except you can have company todays on the weekends once you hear for a month you have to sleep in your bed the first 30 days theres no microwave you cant cook you have mandatory groups you have to attend you have to do chores the staff seems okay if you receive Food Stamps they take $150 from you to go to it and meal plan you must take if you dont receive food stamps do you have to pay an extra $150 and cash 4 your food plan whats up with that the food is mediocre to say the least the only reason why Im here is because its about to be November in this cold but if not I would have been sanctioned if I didnt take it because I if I can find something for 700 a month with just security and a landlord is not asking for first and last month and security I would be good but unfortunately Im here

A lovely place for people to come to get off the street, have a good meal, a shower and a bed to sleep in. The staff and those who stay there are all beautiful people.

Outside looked pleasant as possible, being winter an all but from hearing first hand from people living there, seems to be maintenance issues on a daily bases with not much help to get it down.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. They have numerous programs to help people with low incomes
