Hilton Club West 57th Street New York in New York
Exceptional location, clean rooms, wonderful staff!! Limited amenities (e.g., no microwave or kitchenette, no snacks or vending machines). Unfortunately, not one of their best properties, but a lovely choice of location for broadway shows. My family and I had two suites. We love NYC!
Clean hotel. Comfortable beds and pillows. We stayed for just under a week. We were told room service would be on Thursday; they came by on Wednesday. Elevators were smooth even during busy times- one was nearly always on the ground level. The guys offering assistance with bags and holding the doors were super friendly and always wished us a good day; safe travels when we left. Location is incredible. We stayed on the 12th floor; view is in the photos. Only a small fridge that can hold leftovers for two from two dinners. Shower was wonderful.Counter employees were “smug”. Treated customers based on their clothing (it appeared, anyway, in my observations while waiting for different services in the lobby). Were happy to help when we were dressed up, but slow to assist when I was in jeans.I traveled with my sister in law. I am an owner- I was falsely told by three different people I could attend the information brief at this location and receive a gift without my husband present (“just do it anyway”, “wear your ring on your right hand”). I arrived for my brief (wearing my ring on my left hand and had been open about my recent marriage to everyone I spoke to) to be turned away by a manager and told I would also not receive the gift. He stated that they called me “several times” to cancel, but I did not receive any calls on my cell phone nor noticed any messages on my room phone.I appreciate being an owner with HGVC, but did not appreciate these side tactics instead of just telling me that it wasn’t available for me this time. I saw a review below that aso had a last minute cancellation. Just be open and honest with your owners- we prefer that. I will likely stay at a different HGV property when I visit NYC again.
Room was clean and service acceptable. They invited my wife and I to attend an upgrade of our HGVC membership. We have been members for 20 years. They gave us an appointment, then called back later that evening and canceled it and said that we did not qualify for it. Shoddy way of doing business with an HGVC owner. Very disappointed. I decided to rather upgrade my membership with Marriott Vacations Club, who were happy to have me. I certainly hope that Hilton doesnt treat all their owners like that. They havent in the past, but I guess that must be their new way of doing business, since they appear so smug with their purchase of Diamond Resorts, a middle quality travel club.
OMG...The term billionaire row does not give this location justice. You are walking distance to Everything that is NY NY including TKTS. The Hilton Club delivers as Always. I had a Premiere studio which was the size of a 2br in a hotel. The living room sofa was not only plush and amazing but turns out a sleeper sofa. Staff is the epitome of Professionalism. Although the weekend I stayed was New Yorks blizzard in February you could not tell with all the activity. This location is a Must on your list for 2022.
Staff is very welcoming, rooms super clean and never felt unsafe. Beds are comfortable and the heat/AC stays working while you sleep!! Plenty of space for Uber pick-ups/drop-offs which is not the norm for NYC, and lastly we recommend Morton Williams market up the street too!!
Appreciated the hotels location .. we found parking easily ... decent restaurants nearby...would have loved to do a Broadway show but nutcracker was cancelled.. other shows were charging an unreasonable service fee ... 40 % of ticket cost? also could not choose seat prior to paying ...
So the people who can afford this place probably dont read Google reviews. We only stayed here because of a timeshare presentation and would never pay the many hundreds of dollars per night otherwise. For the cost, the room was nothing special -- just a regular room in a decent chain with no views. Oh and the terrace you see in all the pictures (which is the reason we chose this hotel from other options) is only accessible to owners...In fairness, having considered the response from the hotel, the service/staff was indeed professional and accommodating.
We felt like we were in our home away from home! The staff was friendly and patient with all of our questions. The room was clean, and I love how they provided coffee and water (so important!) The hotel was in a great location for all of the activities we wanted to do. The best part about the hotel was the people. They made us feel safe and comfortable to be there.
Located walking distance to the south end of Central Park, the rooms are modern and spacious given the usual Manhattan space constraints.Centrally located to every Subway line going in every direction, its decent place to stage and setup for your urban sightseeing adventures. The front reception staff was excellent as well!
This is our fifth stay at Hilton club W57. We love this hotel: the staff are helpful and friendly, the location is right next to central park, and the rooms are spacious and clean. We are facing 57th this time, on the 12th floor, and we do not hear noose from the street.
Fabulous place to stay when visiting NYC especially at XMASS time. Was able to walk over to Rockefeller Center to see the tree as well as wander around Central Park. Rooms are very large for New York and have a nice mini-fridge. Staff are super friendly. The workout room is top notch. Truly no compliants except that it would be nice to be able to buy some wine to have up in the room at the property since not much nearby.
One of Hiltons finest properties. Close to Central Park, next door pretty much to Carnegie Hall. Excellent helpful staff & updated accommodations. The luxury of the bathroom robe after a soak in an updated soaking tub. we enjoyed this each night after our excursions in the city. The hotel is super clean, and the staff is awesome!
Great property in a great location. It is convenient to Central Park, Broadway and transportation. Staff all are friendly and helpful. They apologized there was no concierge to help with some outside activities, but indicated they hoped to have one back soon. Coffee and water and tea in the lobby were nice to have. Thanks.
Nice modern rooms. Clean. Small lobby. Do not expect coffee in the lobby. Staff could have been friendlier. Staff at the entrance are always nice, helpful and pleasant. Receptionists need more training in hospitality. Smiles are hard to come by from staff. They are not prompt with room requests, at least, not in my case. Their redeeming factors are great location, nice rooms.
This is a great location in Manhattan. The rooms are great but its different from other HGV properties with full kitchens and plenty of space. This is just access to a nice location in a great city. So taper expectations and dont compare it to properties in Vegas, CA, Florida, etc. It is also in an expensive part of the city, so budget accordingly. Staff is very friendly and rooms are clean and well suited. Other than the full suite experience, this is a good location. I enjoyed my stay.
The Hilton at 102 West 57th street was awesome. It was convenient to everything especially central Park! We were checked in at the front desk by Regina who never failed the entire 3 days tro have a smile and call us b y name whenever she saw us. She made us feel special and we are so blessed to be a owner in the Hilton Family! Thanks for an incredible 3 days!!
This had to be one of the best stays of any Hilton property for me. The staff was consistently and genuinely friendly and helpful. It never felt forced or fake. I felt extremely welcomed and valued as a customer. Kudos to the leadership here because the staff is wonderful. Also, very clean and spacious room (for NYC). And, good location.
We always stay at W57 while in NYC. For this trip we had 2 1BR Premium rooms to accommodate 4 of us (1 toddler). The rooms are quite spacious and, as usual, very, very clean. The location is perfect for our plans. The staff are always friendly & attentive, but this time they were incredibly attentive and friendly to the toddler. She was so happy there.Anthony, Ovie, Ivie, John and the whole Lounge staff were ever so helpful, as usual. We had ordered a stroller from a rental company to be delivered for our stay. The front desk folks were helpful with the delivery and return pick up.I highly recommend HGV W57!
This hotel was absolutely amazing! The views were to die for and the staff was exceptionally nice. We stayed in a king bedroom suite and I was blown away by the beautiful views and the massive bathroom! There was three of us staying and there was so much room for all of us! That location is amazing and close to all amazing restaurants!
Convenient location on 57th. Friendly staff with nice rooms. The studio premiere had a deep tub and a shower, a sitting area and a nice desk in front of the window. House keeping is a little lack luster though. The toilet was dirty and my room wasnt touched in the three nights I was there. Overall, Id probably stay again.
Had a great stay! Was able to select this location as part of a vacation package purchased in exchange for attending a presentation on becoming an owner (review is not regarding or considering presentation - just the hotel). The room you are typically given in this deal is their base studio king room (stp I believe is the code). It seems they have remedied being able to see someone’s silhouette when they shower. This was noted in many past reviews & a huge concern for me. They’ve installed a wooden paneled sliding cover that only reveals a small frosted potion of the shower glass wall either towards the front or rear of shower on the other side (not sure why it slides??) but nothing is seen or revealing to others in the room while someone’s in the shower. Our room was clean, all staff pleasant & accommodating. Stayed for 3 days & had plenty of linen & trash bags for our stay. Only had to request additional creamer. The remote control is a beast to use so we often times went without using the TV.
The Hilton Club at West 57 Street is in a great, historic and convenientneighborhood. I appreciate the remaining 19th and early 20th cbuildings related to the Arts, and especially the proximity to CARNEGIEHALL. The low-key aura of the club made it feel much homierand less like a bustling hotel experience. This factor is very appealing to us. Room nicely and simply furnished, bathroom large by NYC standards. TV big. We like that there is mostly wood or laminate floors and notcarpet, which quickly becomes dirty in a hotel room.Appreciate the Keurig and the mini-fridge. Great walking proximity to the park, and to museums, and even Lincoln Center, in good weather.
Centrally located to every and everywhere Manhattan! The rooms are beautiful and the amenities are plentiful. Everything is in walking distance from Central Park to Times Square, to every Subway line going in every direction. Great emoloyee crew and front office manager!
From the moment we pulled up, service was outstanding! Everyone was more than happy to help with anything we needed. Ovie and Ivy went above and beyond, and with a smile. The room itself was clean , and had a great bathtub with a fantastic view.Staying here made my birthday celebration and first trip to New York epic!!Cant wait to come back!
Location is the best reason to stay here. Lobby assistance is gracious but did not inform me ahead of time about no house cleaning service. Due to the pandemic, its understandable and desired, but still feel it should have been disclosed upon reserving/arrival. At a Premier Plus Platinum level ownership (at the unfinished Quinn), I expected Hilton to provide some gracious hospitality to compensate the bare-bone experience (vouchers, inquiry if desired delivery of newspaper, waters, etc. daily).
My wife and i decided to take a mini vacation and come to NYC. Catch a few jazz sets at Smalls Jazz Club and little dinner. The Hilton Club was the perfect place to stay. Its centrally located.Beautiful Hotel, excellent service and friendly staff. We will definitely be returning.
Comfortable, clean, lux, with excellent staff. Beautiful floor to ceiling windows in room, sumptuous bathrooms, keurig coffee in room with fridge. Bathrobes. Good amenities and generous with them. Incredible bedding, slept so well. Close to everything include Central park. easy to use business center, free bottle water. Staff are very warm and welcoming. Did NOT want to leave. Also good wifi as I did video mtgs in my room
Another excellent stay at our home away from home. This location is excellent because of the proximity to shopping, Central Park, and Times Square. The rooms are large and extra clean, but the best part of this place is the staff. Ovie and Ivy are awesome and helpful. Maria and the other front desk folks treat us like family and make sure any need we have is met quickly. We never want to leave and we always can’t wait to return. Thanks Hilton!
This is my new favorite hotel in the city 🥰 My stay here for Valentine’s Day weekend was greeeaat!! I got an upgrade on my room and it was beautiful, the water was hot, the heat/ac worked fine, the bed was comfortable and the cable tv was nice. Staff is also friendly and the parking out front was a blessing. I would definitely stay here again HIGHLY RECOMMEND. 💕💕💕
Plenty of measures to make guests feel safe during COVID-19. Rooms are updated, clean, modern, and pleasant. The staff were friendly. The location is great if you want to experience Central Park and the northern end of Midtown. Conveniently located near grocery stores, coffee shops, and other restaurants. There was a lack of privacy as the bathroom doors do not close all the way by design. The shower also has a door that opens the bathroom to more light from the living/bedroom area. The wall is frosted, though. But for my wife and I, it wasnt an issue. Something to be mindful of for guests who are not family or super close.
Small room in a timeshare property. No hotel service to speak of. Housekeeping doesnt exist unless you make multiple calls. Room cleaning apparently is an upcharge (not really) but the days of daily house keeping seem to be long gone. I was here a promotional visit for a VIP showing for a sales pitch. I wouldnt call the room or the experience VIP at all
This was an excellent stay for us! The staff who is beyond accommodating, to the point where they actually went and bought new towels for me because they weren’t able to provide allergy free towels. In the middle the night I needed a special cable, and they provided it. The room is very nice good sized and all the amenities your room you need. Downstairs in the lobby they provide drinks coffee snacks for guests at certain hours. I definitely will stay there again.
This was the only good thing about New York, It surprisingly has a pretty chill environment being that its close to central park and a lot of foot traffic.I know I am going off topic, so far the rooms were a good size nothing compact (I paid extra) and if you are lucky you can get a room that has a peek of central park or just go all the way to the roof and check it out from there. Service was pretty good and prompt at least from my experience being a big city I would recommend for those who are not on a tight budget and give it a shot
Stayed here earlier in the year with a friend. Very convenient location, between two subway stations with access to different lines. The staff was very helpful. The room was great, spacious with a big bed and great bathroom. The room also had a mini-fridge which was super convenient.
For HGVC owners, dont stay in this property. Not worth the money. Not a par with other HGVC properties (i.e., no microwave, laundry machine, etc.) Only best thing about this property is its location. If you stay less than 4 nights, you get extra charged with almost $100.
Absolutely excellent service all around! Everyone was extremely polite and made you feel so important! Specifically Ivy and Ivan who gave exceptional service!!! Went above and beyond to help us out with parking, luggage, recommendations and more. Definitely will be back!!!
Definitely great location, very nice and spacious accommodations.Disappointing, that there is no restaurant on a property, no microwave in the room.My room was on a third floor with a view of the outdoor sitting area of the owner’s lounge, where I was able to look at guests having breakfast and refreshments, but was told that the lounge was for the 57th Street vacation property owners. My grandchildren ages 2 and 5 are now looking at guests having their breakfast, and they are wondering why they cannot have breakfast there too.Don’t waste your money or your Hilton vacation points to stay here, I am sure that for the price you can find an equivalent hotel with better amenities.
Location is fantastic. Had a room facing 57th Street and we were able to watch the Thanksgiving parade from our room. Staff is friendly and helpful. They charge a short stay fee (about $90) for stays less than 4 days. Also full room service is optional, and is also about $90 per day.
Great clean hotel in a great location. It was built about ten years ago so very clean and modern with nice views. Always fully staffed with great employees who were courteous and answered questions. No perks for Hilton Honors Gold members because it is a timeshare hotel. No breakfast either. Nice comfortable beds and spacious bathroom .
Elegant & Charming! My wife and I decided to bring out daughter out to NYC and meet some family and friends here and had an amazing time. The large windows made you feel like you were part of the entire city! The staff were so polite and courteous, even though I felt like I came in & out of the building a million times. Everything was very clean and tidy! There was a generous selection for breakfast and the atmosphere in the dining area was very peaceful, which is hard to find in such a large city. The location made just about everything in walking distance, which was very nice for us as we like going on walks at night wherever we stay. Being an Air Force veteran and traveling the world has afforded me the opportunity to stay in some extremely remarkable locations, but this was one of my most memorable overnights I have ever had! Definitely a moment I will remember for a very long time! I will have to find and post some of the pictures I took while staying here. Maybe one day in the future we will be able to come here and do it again! Thank you!
Enjoyed our stay in this upscale hotel in Manhattan. Staff was very friendly and informative. Housekeeping was the only service here that was meh. I had to call for towels and ended up cleaning the room myself. She then showed up at 5pm. A little late in my opinion. Otherwise loved this location.
Very nice service. We were visiting for one night to see a concert and it was great. Good location, we could walk to MSG from where we were and Central Park was right next to us. The room was spectacular, the bathroom was my favorite part and I made sure to make use of the bathtub even though we didnt get back until one am. Overall the hotel only made our experience that much better and I would go back again!
A gorgeous, modern space and a very friendly staff... we spent a 3 day weekend here in exchange for agreeing to hear an hour sales pitch (which turned into 2 1/2 hours) for Hilton Grand Vacations / Hilton Club. The vacation club sounds great, but is not worth the price of admission. Still, we enjoyed our stay and will be back to enjoy more of the city.
Rooms are well structured with a reasonable amount of space in the standard rooms. Was here on a marketing package, so dont know the full price of the rooms. It is a time share building managed by Hilton, but they obviously sell vacancies to the public. Lobby leaves something to be desired. Staff were incredibly helpful. Would stay here again in the future.
We have been guests here numerous times. We always had transport willingly available to us from the resort. The room was fantastic. Location is great. The grocer down the block and refrigerator in the room are convenient. Youre close to the Park, 5th Ave. The staff is helpful and courteous.
They get an A for effort. Stayed here as part of a Hilton grand vacation. There were a few snags but the staff quickly remedied them. Wonderful view from hotel room. No bar access to those staying when they buy the trial. There is a great grocery store a few places down that has a delicious hot bar for breakfast.
Transportation was offered to areas of interest. The hotel has all the amenities a family needed. The staffs were all very professional. The amount of people ready to help you is overwhelming. The evening reception and breakfast in the owners lounge are very well done. Such a great location. Hope to return ***y times.
When you are a member of the Hilton Grand Vacations Club or about to join them and received an offer from Hilton direct I highly would recommend in this great house. The service was very good, although there is no breakfast. The room was very spacious for New York standards and quite. Very comfortable equipped which made us feel home very fast and easy. Would not hesitate to stay again here.
Great boutique hotel with excellent service! The entire staff were very attentive and accommodating! We stayed for 10 days in a 1 BR suite on the 24th floor at the back/southeast corner of the building and it was quite pleasant, we did not hear any construction or street noise in our room. Fantastic central location and wonderful memorable experience. This hotel is truly a hidden gem. We highly recommend it and will stay here again.
Great location in mid Manhattan. Easy to walk to Times Square Rockefeller Center, etc. Staff was very cordial and helpful for any questions we had regarding the area. Room was very clean with a comfortable king size bed & good large shower. Would not hesitate to return.
West 57th is 2 blocks from Central Park on the same block as Carnegie Hall. I had a room on the 22nd floor. Guest services was very accomodating. I got in town early and they held my bag until I came back to check in. The room itself was nice. I enjoyed the stand alone tub since I did soak it in. They lost a star since the water got cold while I was filling the tub for my soak. I had to turn it off and wait a bit for more hot water. The shower was good too. The bed was comfortable. There was a mini fridge but no microwave. Clean room, Id consider staying here again if I were in town.
Ive always been extremely happy with the cleanliness of the hotel. There is easy access to public transportation. The service at this property has been above my expectations. Thank you to everyone at West 57th and we will be recommending this property to our friends when they travel to NY.
Love. The best. So convenient to everything. Doorman, Livingston, is beyond reproach. Perfect. The room was comfy and very clean. Love every view. Wish I could bring my puppy. Btw, the food in the lounge is consistent, very tasty, appropriate and catered by a wonderful group. Thanks for thinking of all details.
Great stay! For NYC, this hotel is a great option. The rooms are spacious with a modern industrial feel. Central Park and Times Square is within walking distance and there are numerous restaurants in close proximity. The lounge food, although similar for breakfast and dinner, has quality options that are filling and nutritious.
The West 57th by Hilton club is part of the Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV) timeshare properties. We stayed in a Studio unit which is nicely appointed with modern fresh items. The bed was comfortable and being on the 12th floor there isnt much street noise into our room so its pretty easy to get a good sleep. The cleanliness though is sub par, there was hair all over the bathroom sink and urine stains on the floor behind the toilet. It was clearly cleaned by someone who didnt care.If youre planning a stay in NYC the West 57th has nice quiet rooms but for the price I would also expect a cleaner room. I would think twice before booking here again.
Wonderful customer service here. Our travel agent booked us the wrong hotel room type and even though we paid for an upgraded room, she booked us the lowest tier room. We were super unhappy. Carmen (the hotel manger) upgraded us to the nicest room available at the hotels expense, even though our travel agent had screwed up. She didnt have to. She told us she just wanted us to be happy. Now THATS customer service. THANK YOU CARMEN!!!
I was at home in Ohio when they called saying I won a vacation sigh another time share call .. we get them nearly daily usually just hang up. I was frank that we had done similar and was 100% certain we werent going to buy. wed talked of going to NYC together someday and the guy promised to give us this great deal .. best Hilton in nyc. basically 2 nights free. They assured me that was fine and all I was required to do was listen for 90 minutes. so we went to the time share thing and I told them I was setting the phone alarm for 90 minutes. I was skeptical they would honor their promise as weve been to others that held you 3 time the promised amount. they honored the agreement.. they gave what they promised and got us out the door in 90 minutes. So we were satisfied and thought it was well worth the 90 uncomfortable minutes. We booked an additional 2 nights at the Hilton Garden Central Park with my husbands rewards points .. couple blocks away.when I expressed we would such a hard sell they put us in the LUXURY Hilton they were showing people to try and get them to sign up for the timeshare and let me be clear it was GREAT. The other Hilton was called the central park but the 57th we could see trees from the park from our bathroom. My husband is a diamond level rewards from his work and he gets to keep the points earned so we get some free Hilton Vacations (this year 2 week in Hawaii and 2 days in NYC free). This was like no Hilton we had ever stayed at .. we semi jokingly referred to it as the Bate and switch because signing up the time share other Hiltons were not going to offer this level of luxury. They put us on the 24th floor high enough for great view and quiet stay. I dont know if all the rooms were as stately as our but our room did impress. It was huge by nyc standards. It wasnt just a suit the amount of extras was impressive. It had 2 flat screens .. one in the living room area and the other in the bedroom area. The couch in the Livingroom area was long & comfortable ... could seat 5-6 people .. immense. The king sized bed had 6 pillows with more in the closet. Let me tell ya .. the bed and the pillows were more comfortable than home .. excellent. The ceilings were higher than hotel ceiling, They even had a umbrella in our room for our use .. how thoughtful. Long desk/table in bedroom area with 2 chairs .. Fluffy soft comfy robes. The bathroom!!!!!!!!!!! Omg a great shower big enough for 3 .. 2 shower heads .. one a gentle rain shower and the tube ... I would kill to have that tub at home. I think they they call it a slipper tube .. either way it was heaven. Pristine white comfy rugs in the bathroom extra amenities. The best soaking tube ever .. and the whole length of this had floor to ceiling windows .. the view was great. The view from our tub was the city plus some trees of central park. OMG heaven. The staff were as great as the hotel. Ideal location .. super close to restaurants, shopping, central park, Broadway, Time Square. They say they dont usually put the time share people here .. they just take you on a tour of how the other half live. Usually need 2 months in advance to book it and even then its difficult to acquire. Honestly if even 1/2 the Hiltons were this great .. I would have wanted to buy the timeshare :) Ohh I miss that bathroom and especially that tub and view. Would hate to know what they charge a night there
Front desk clerk Jennifer is very rude and condescending. Forget getting an early check in if she assists you. She will actually make you wait till the actual 4pm checkin or even as late as 530pm. She will not update you with the status and is annoyed if you check in with her. When contacted for status her response was your room will be ready sooner than later. I have yet to see her smile. The rest the employees are wonderful, kind and very good at making you feel welcome. Except the the hard sell sales people!Update on my review:After my review I was contacted by Management from HGVC. She was very professional and concerned about the actions of her employee. She expressed that customer satisfaction is a priority in their organization. I very much appreciated her call and concern. Since, we received an apology and given names of the managers we can call should we need anything. The staff has since been extra attentive, which we very much appreciate. While we understand we may not get early check in, we do expect professional responses and possibly updates as to the status of our room every 2-3 hours. waiting from 7am till 530pm is too long for seniors to be expected to wait without any status reports. . I give management’s response a 5 star rating. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Below expectations. Advertised as an upscale option on 57 west, but, actually... very average! Very disinterested staff. Midtown location is good, near central park and main midtown attractions! No views, unless facing 57st. Small room. Ive stayed at better Hampton Inn.
We are part of the initial wave of owners in this property. Its turned out to be a great decision as were able to make use of it frequently. Theyve kept the property up-to-date and in great shape. A few of the original stamps remain. All of the staff is competent and are Pleasant and easy to work with!
I stayed at this location for 2 nights in September 2019. Very nice hotel. Safe & wonderful location - popular attractions are within a mile. I saw a lot of people in the restaurants & walking on the street day & night. The service is great!! The staff was pleasant, respectful, very attentive & they went out their way to accommodate me! I do plan to stay again.
Anyone needing a comfortable place to stay in mid-town Manhattan with some Hilton Grand Vacation club points to burn should make this first choice. Its conveniently located near Columbus circle and just south of Central Park. Its on the block with Carnegie Hall and surrounded by great places to eat. The staff is always helpful and never intrusive. Maintenance is first priority here as everything always works perfectly. Most important, the beds are a joy to sleep in.
Great location & professional, customer focused staff.Buyer beware: most of the rooms at this property are standard hotel rooms and NOT what they present during your initial meeting. But the kicker is they DO NOT offer daily maid service to pick up your room, make your bed, etc. You need to book a minimum 5 night stay for 1 occurrence of maid service....1 occurrence. Whomever came up with this absurd policy sustained a traumatic blow to the head.
All the staff was excellent, location was great close to large number of tourist attractions. All areas of West 57 building super clean. I would recommend highly to all. I reiterate the staff was great, friendly and helpful, Hilton should be super proud of the excellent service provided here.
Great room even if a little small. But spectacular design. However the draw back was the staff. Not all but enough. Im a Hilton Honors member for quite sometime and predominantly only stay at Hiltons or through my timeshare company. The staff here was not only rude but 2 members lied to me about services offered and not offered. When this was brought to their attention they compounded the lie with saying things like they changed their policy or it was for only members in the penthouse. I confirmed these statements were untrue with other staff members and a manager. I expect alot more out of Hilton especially one considered as exclusive as the one here on West 57th.
Meh. Nothing special other than it did not have a big lobby, so fewer steps to get to our (small-ish, esp. for the price) room with the view of construction. Front line staff were very cordial and helpful. Doormen were quite kind and friendly.Close to Central Park, restaurants, and theaters.
Upsetting. Check in time is 4pm, I understand that a room may not be available till then, but its extremely upsetting when you are the first person on the wait list and you see other people checking out at 9am and your forced to wait 2 hours to prepare a room???? Thats ridiculously poor service and management. When I expressed my concerns I was told to wait a total of 3 hours till noon. If rooms are available and youre not offered one in a timely manner, would you do business with them? Not sure I will be back or recommend to anyone.completely ruined the trip. It took another 2 plus hours for the second room. My guests were more frustrated than I. How could it take 5 hours to prepare 2 rooms, especially watching several other guests check out??? Unbelievable...
Penthouse floor is legit amazing. Great view of Central Park and I was able to see Radio City from the Living Room. I was on vacation between business trips, and this spot is a great getaway.Without a map, I had just a sense of direction, I was able to walk to all of the area sites I wanted to, shop a bit, and get a great workout walking the area.
Location is close to Central Park and walking distance to Time Square. But don’t expect any amenities like other hilton hotels. The unreasonable extra short term stay charge of Over $90 for stay less than three days is disappointing. The lower floor rooms are noisy because you can hear the street noice at midnight.
To be clear, the Hilton Club is a Hilton Grand Vacation Club on the upper floors of the Midtown Hilton (37+). Its easy to confuse the two but they really are two separate entities. The Midtown Hilton has its issues but I have had the best experiences with the Hilton Club. First of all the staff at the welcome desk on the 37th floor are exceptional. Karina, Roy, Shelly and Erin (who seem to never go home and to live just to serve their guests) make sure every expectation is met and that you have a comfortable and happy stay. The housekeeping teams are friendly, efficient and helpful. The room is larger and more lovely than the Midtown Hilton - little more space, nice touches and more apparent upkeep than the Midtown Hilton. You dont have access to the lounge (its reserved for HGVC owners in NYC only) but you dont have access to the concierge in the Midtown Hilton unless you pay a ton of money. You do get waters in the Hilton Club and a fridge (not sure if thats standard in all Midtown Hilton rooms). Its a great place to work - quiet and functional, wifi works fine, and its centrally located without being in the middle of the Times Square mania. I would highly recommend the Hilton Club and appreciate the work done on behalf of the staff to help me have a fabulous, productive stay. One warning - Elevators can be slow during peak hours. Plan for that!
We have shares in several HGV properties and use the points to travel all over and book cruises. W. 57th is one of our very favorites and we purchased a share the first time we stayed there. One of the big pluses is access to the Owners Lounge. We found that we dont need to go out for breakfast and in the evenings, we could get a really good light dinner and a glass of wine before a concert or a play. The single rooms are small and like very nice hotel rooms but the big plus about W.57th is the location. You are very near many of Manhattans sights and venues and there is the subway within a half block. Carnegie hall is at the end of the block and Central Park almost across the street. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We like to stay several days to break up the flight from Hawaii to London. Going back in September for a week.
Holiday Memories are always great when we come to the city and stay in the Hilton on 57th Street. Its in the heart of midtown, so located right next to everything. My husband and I walk around the area looking at all of the Grand holiday displays. We absolutely love this hotel and its location.
Great location, not too busy and noisy throughout our stay. Comfy king bed in a studio and excellent water pressure and shower temp.Took a 4 day stay for NYE. Parking is the only downfall since there is no onsite garage. Valet prices are typical for a popular city- $48 plus per day but we have no clue where they store cars??? So bus, taxi and subway your heart out is best.About 11 blocks (approx. 18 minute walk) to the actual location of the ball drop, Timessquare is a block away and is crazy busy everyday, Subway is 3/4 blocks away so driving is not necessary. Statue of Liberty is approx. a 45 minute ride Downtown on the 1 train. Harlem is a 20 min ride with a few changes of trains. Wonderful staff especially Anthony and Carmen. The hotel is basic on the amenities side but the room was modern and comfortable. Two things to note: no in and out parking, and breakfast is only for NY Hilton Club members who own at this particular location. Also, if your a light sleeper ask for the back view room. Enjoy!
The hotel is designed for Hilton Grand Vacations Club of NYC, which is the Hilton Club. Rooms are great in size, especially the one bedroom apartments. The hotel has a spa but no restaurants; but thats not a problem for mid-town NYC. The location is great as its close to the Central Park, Columbus Circle, and the busy mid-town west side. Also its only 10 blocks from Times square with access to a close-by subway station.
Located just across from MOMA, how can I complain? Very close to Central Park. Five minutes walk to Broadway and the 5th avenue. I was able to go just about anywhere. A room was nice. Just one thing, though. I had to wait for four hours for my baggage to arrive (I called the front desk a couple of times as a reminder) and no soap in a bathroom. But, overall, I was very much satisfied with the stay.
Husband and I bought a couple nights thru hilton grand vacations to stay at W. We were very impressed with the facility. All the staff we found more than willing to help or give advice. I highly recommend this location for anyone who wants to experience the happenings of New York City.
Staff and facilities seemed very nice, just not at the comfortable, home away from home level that I expect from the HGVClub. No kitchen whatsoever. There was a coffeemaker in the room, a Keurig, but I get far better results from my own Keurig at home. Maybe it was just worn out from too many years of use. WAY too much noise from the street, even from 10 floors up. They couldnt do anything to soundproof the windows at all? Theres an owners lounge, but apparently its only for Hilton Club members only -- if youve been paying into the Hilton Grand Vacation Club for many years before the Hilton Club even existed, sorry, youre out of luck. I was offered the brief stay in NYC under the guise of getting a club membership update, and all they really did at the sales office was explain how the new Hilton Club is better than HGVC to try to get my husband & I to purchase additional property with them. The location (very near to Central Park) is convenient, but I much prefer the other properties that Hilton has scattered around the world.
We are original owners at West 57th (W57) and have stayed here more times than I can remember in the years since it opened. Each stay has been great, but what I love is how W57 has managed to improve over the years, much of it in response to comments from the owners. Since 2009 they have done the following: moved and improved the gym (getting rid of an underused and unneeded spa in the process - its New York after all, its not like there arent plenty of spas already); improved the outdoor terrace with a retractable awning and heaters; and remodeled the owners lounge not once, but twice to improve that experience. While the food for the evening reception in the owners lounge - created by the nearby (and absolutely wonderful in its own right) Redeye Grill - has always been wonderful, W57 has not rested on its laurels and has continued to work to make it even better. Tonight - something more than my 10th stay here - was the best food I have ever had here. What I also love is the continuity of the staff. Tonight, when I checked in, I was welcomed by Angelo, who has been here from the beginning. He immediately recognized me and called me by name. The sense of belonging that comes from that is extremely rare - and one of the major reasons why we are so glad we bought here. While W57 was our first major purchase with Hilton Grand Vacations Clubs, it was not our last. Based on the wonderful experience here, we have now purchased seven weeks at HGVC clubs - and are very pleased with how HGVC - and Hilton through the links with the Hilton Honors program - have consistently recognized our Elite status and rewarded us for our loyalty.
Whenever we staycation in our city, we always stay at W57th St by Hilton. Everyone is so friendly and kind...you would not think you were still in NYC!! The entire staff makes you feel right at home and treats you like family! We always enjoy staying here and everything is easily accessible. The location cant be beat...after all, it is on Billionaires Row!
It was clean and the staff was overall friendly. Amazing location. A bit limited when it comes to amenities, like ice machine only on the ground floor - but only important if youre being nitpicky. Came across one rude domestic staff member but everyone else was very nice.
I am a Hilton Honors Silver member, and stayed at this hotel for my birthday weekend a week ago. What a beautiful location......walking distance to my favorite stores, Polo Ralph Lauren, Louis Vuitton and Gucci. Picked up Gucci cowhide loafers....for my birthday. hahaThe hardwood floors and soaking tub are my favorite memories of the room.I will be back.....
I was registered for Streaming Media. A very pleasant girl at registration was helping me. I showed her my past badges to help her. This elderly women stepped in. She kept my old badges and wouldnt give them to me. I said that they were my property and to please give them to me. She ripped them up. Enter.... Big Fat Security. He had to be 300+. Big and round. These two were acting like people who found out that their partner was cheating on them and their turtles ran away with their dogs. The absurd childish nonsense I had to put up with to get in to the show......unbelievable!!! I was told that when you grow up fat, abused or having people picking on you, its rough not to abuse other people when given a chance.I finally got into Streaming Media and accomplished a lot.

2022-06-05We would highly recommend this hotel. We stayed with our young children in a one bedroom premier suite. The staff was phenomenal. The suite was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. It was the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the city. Location is excellent. Walking distance to Central Park, Rockefeller Center, and many other attractions and restaurants. Booking with Hilton is very convenient, and you can always expect a clean and pleasant stay.

2022-04-15Great staff, The room was small but well-appointed. Hint rooms close to elevator have no view: 802,and probably 801 I know have no view to anything but another building. There is also no lobby space. The gym is very much what I expect of Hilton-- free weights, multiple bikes, treadmills etc, cable weight machine, benches. Location is great. 2 blocks from central park, half block from Russian Tea room. Tons of upscale dining in the area. I would return to this property without hesitation.

2021-12-31Best hotel! The location is really good, the staff is really good, the room is really good. Theres not a view for most rooms, but thats alright. One thing is that the sofa should be able to convert into a bed because families of 4 and above will find it difficult to sleep as there is only one king bed and a sofa. The lobby was nice, the terrace was cool as well, kind of scary as it was wet, and the doors were unlocked to the lobby, but other than that, I enjoyed my stay and will definitely be coming back!!!

2022-02-11Nice place to stay in the upper part of the Theatre District. Surprisingly quite street and area, which is a good find for Manhattan. Excellent staff. Accommodations are some of the best we have experienced here. We were able to stay here via an RCI exchange. You can stay here as an exchange or by joining Hilton Grand Vacations.

2022-02-19This is my go to place in this part of NYC. I come here to work to avoid distractions and close to client offices. Modern (updated) clean rooms and awesome staff. Convenient to subway and to the theatre district. Endless options for great restaurants within a few blocks. P.S. asked for a microwave and it was brought to my room in less than 5 mns.

2022-06-04The location of this hotel is perfect. Right next to central park and near multiple subway stations. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I would recommend they include microwaves in the room but thats it.

2022-02-16We loved this property. I previously was an owner with Marriott, and it was frankly disappointing, but Hilton has far exceeded my expectations for quality and value. This is a beautiful, perfectly situated property, convenient to everything. Definitely try the chicken noodle soup and the polenta at Brooklyn Diner. (You get 15% of with the card provided by the hotel fyi.)

2022-04-07My stay at the Hilton Club West 57th Street was amazing. The staff was very friendly, and helpful. Regine and Julius were exceptional and made my husband and I feel like a part of the Hilton Family. It was a great pleasure to meet them, and they treated us with such warmth, and kindness. They made my 50th birthday celebration very special and Im truly grateful.
