Overall I didnt had a good experience. The breakfast was way to expensive, for what you get for. Had some further problems with my room. After that I sleeped well. You should try to get a room without a door seperation. Otherwise you will hear everything in the room next to you - and this means really everything! The service and people are friendly and tried to help me.What I also didnt expenct was the old and ugly hair dryer in the room. Asked for another one - the funny thing is: they dont have any replacement.
Disgusting dirty rooms that smell bad not even clean or sanitized. First room smelt like body odor. And wasnt even cleaned. Second room was not much better bathroom was disgusting and not cleaned properly garbage in the hallway. For a new hotel its in poor condition. First step they should do is get rid of Megan the manager is a horrible manager and rude. I would give this place a zero star if I could. I am going to be in touch with my credit card company and dispute the charge.
Very nice/clean hotel. Very impressed w/ the accommodations. Bed was very comfortable and staff was very nice and easy to talk to. Only issue was w/ housekeeping coming in our room while not there after was mentioned that they would not enter room w/o being scheduled/notified to do so. Highly recommend this hotel if visiting the New York City area, very well worth it. If my family and I visit New York again, this is the first hotel we will check to see if have any vacancies.
The rooms were clean and quiet. I loved that when I requested housekeeping, they did not come to clean too early so I was able to get my rest in the morning. I really enjoy the coffee machine and the microwave in the room. this was my second time staying here and if I ever need a hotel in Nassau County area, this is the only hotel I would consider.
Never again will bob lembo or Gregory Beauchamp my dad or me...or...family stay at a Hilton establishment anywhere ,anytime in the future there is always red barn inn Im sure they have a working pool that they havent rented to Netflix...and they dont use a catering manager to lie and say shes the establishment manager yes you Alina..and of course Mona...Mona..Mona....lol..worst experience of a lifetime.....
Nice hotel over all. Nice outside appearance and even more beautiful and appealing lobby space on the inside. This hotel has a sizable parking lot. Breakfast is about $17 per person, give or take. My room appear neatly done. However, Once I walked in, I noticed debris of food particles on the floor. I have an issue when theres no follow through on a specific request to do something. When me and my family of 4 walked in to the room for the 1st time, we noticed little crumbs dispersed on the floor. I have a one year old that crawls more than she walks. With that in mind, she likes to pick things from the ground. Therefore, I called front desk and spoke to a male supervisor and specifically requested that the floors be vacuumed and to kindly service the room. The guy said ok. Unfortunately, he or the cleaning crew dropped the ball in communication and delivery, because I still saw crumbs in the same sections of the floor. Id assume theyd vacuum rooms before new comers enter their rooms. It should be protocol. Maybe it is but it simply wasnt done in ours. I called the service desk (11pm) when I got back and still saw the messiness on the floor and a lady supervisor answered and apologized for the situation. Her solution was to email housekeeping and have them vacuum tomorrow. My overall ratings was truly based on the inconvenience and half done job I received. Solution is please follow protocol that way youll only handle it once.
There were good and bad points. Front desk was awesome - got me a toothbrush and mask because I needed one for where I was going. I was livid however that I ran out in the rain to place my luggage in my car, came back in and sat down at 10:03 am. Took a few minutes to get acknowledged all for the waiter to tell me the kitchen was closed. Really?? They couldn’t serve me a coffee and ask if there was anything in the kitchen left?? They were still cooking!! I even asked the front desk and they refused me. That alone will have me calling Hilton directly to complain about this inexcusable poor service. I have a 3 hour drive and stayed two nights. Unacceptable.
Stayed here for 1 night and it was absolutely amazing. The staff was friendly and welcoming & I was impressed with the room. We had a king suite with snacks. The room was spacious, and clean with modern decor. The bathroom was a lot bigger than your standard hotel bathroom & even had a bench which was handy to place my belongings when going in & out the shower. Will definitely be visiting again
Typical garden inn style. Breakfast is OK. 1/2 hour from LGA. Staff were friendly at the front desk. The rooms are big and nice. Bathroom is very nice. Found Coffee maker and refrigerator in the room. There are few trials and Parks nearby. Plenty of free parking. Couple of golf courses are in 6 mile radius. Whole food market is 1.3 mile walking distance. Satisfied with the stay.
The Hilton Garden Inn is a beautiful property, easy to find, clean, quiet, well appointed, and a couple of informal meeting areas for our party. We thoroughly enjoyed out visit overall. The only negative - we found the rules regarding eating meals we brought in to be restrictive in the public areas.
We used this hotel for our Wedding Room block, and the staff here was fantastic. The front desk was so gracious, helpful, and kind. Alana talked on the phone with my lost Grandma for over 30 minutes. My brother and his kids enjoyed signing up for a private time for his family to go enjoy the pool! The Hotel was very clean and updated, the staff accommodating! Hats off to Stefanie who handled our Wedding Block in a very communicative way. In a time where our country and world are in a constant crisis this was a nice retreat. I would recommend staying here for your group or if youre in the area!
Since the years I have been here pre covid, this hotel and staff just blew away all other hotels as far as kindness, friendliness, and room service. The staff is amazing and thoughtful. This is the only time I have ever said this about any hotel. They go above and beyond.Excellent job guys
Hotel is clean and nice enough. Staff is friendly. But there bar was literally never open while i was there. Not open at 430pm before we got on our wedding shuttle. Not open when we got back at 1030. On Saturday. They sold one type of cold wine in the gift shop area- white zinfandel which i did not know was still a thing. There were 7 or 8 wedding blocks there. The bar has to be open.
The staff here is amazing. Specifically Stefanie and Alana. We stayed here for our wedding weekend and no request went unanswered. They are all polite, professional and friendly. The rooms are clean and well maintained. We especially loved the late night snack bar and ability to relax outside on the patio with friends and family.
I must say I stayed in the hotel for a week and probably 2 days. I had two rooms and I personally felt like the hotel stay was amazing. The staff was very helpful , due to covid they would send me a text asking if everything was okay and If I needed anything. I enjoyed they fries, the hotel was very clean my room was clean. The only issue is that the bedding was a little uncomfortable
Nice place but should specify that a dog that is paper for Emotional needs is still considered a service animal so we had to find another hotel cause they wouldnt let us stay cause if the dog which we made reservations tow months ago to be turned down !! When the whole wedding party was there ,family and friends was not to happy with them
Although this property is very nice, I must review the customer service. On the tails of the COVID era, I waited just a bit past the “closing date” to get a group room rate. I explained that I was waiting for the grandmother of the bride to finish getting vaccinated. I am being charged $100 more than the group rate and there is literally no reason for this. They have kept me waiting on hold to talk to any one in reservations. My sister, the mother of the bridge, is sponsoring a very big buffet breakfast the next morning.. and this hotel should be more accommodating. Trying to make up for lost COVID time?? On one customer?? Bad idea!
I had a long drive bringing my daughter back to college. So many things went wrong that day with her car and I ended up needing to stay the night somewhere close. I ended up at the Hilton Garden Inn in Roslyn, NY. Alana at the front desk set me up in a quiet room and made suggestions to local places. The hotel was super new and clean. Beds were very comfortable. I have found my new place to stay when in town visiting!
Wife had a stay in a nearby hospital. Wanted a hotel nearby. Just fantastic. The room was clean and well appointed. King size bed firm and uber comfy. Nice bar and great food. Going to use this hotel as my sanity getaway. Feels like a vacation without going far. Beautiful Rosylyn Village nearby for fine restaurants and strolling. I am a happy man.
Keeping in mind that this is a mid-priced brand, this is one of the most pleasurable experience I had in a hotel. The staff across the board was pleasant, down to earth, attentive, and genuine. The room was was modern and very well maintained. The lobby isnt huge but extremely warm and welcoming. I would definitely stay at this property again.
I booked my wedding block at this hotel and have nothing but great things to say about our experience! We had friendly and helpful staff from day 1 and loved our bridal suite. The rooms were brand new and beautiful and we loved the option to host breakfast using breakfast vouchers in the main lobby. Overall, we were so glad we chose this hotel for our event!
Gave us a terrible view of a rusty rooftop when the hotel is nearly empty… They photoshop their hotel views in the photos displayed here and on their website. That’s just not how you do business and build brand loyalty when there’s a million other options out there.Drink and food are also what you expect in a place like this. Not good.Edit: it’s also one of those hotels with a ridiculously loud fan unit under the window.
Everything about this place looks brand-new and beautiful. Thanks to mobile check-in and out, I barely interacted with anyone, but those I did were very pleasant. However, the comforter was very thin and cheap-feeling, and the pillows were a little bit lumpy. The mattress was nothing fancy, but not uncomfortable. I also prefer to have the AC/fan on constantly (I like the white noise when I sleep) but the only setting here was auto. Otherwise a really nice place, and I would stay here again should I have the need.
Particularly staff related.Upon several occasions and stays with Elana/Elanah. I find her tone to be condecending, sarcastic and pompus. I do not feel treated fairly based on observation of her discussions with other hotel guests. She presents information as a matter of fact with a lack of ability to relate to guest empathy.Checkin- staff was cought off gaurd, un focused and distracted. Need to practice attentive attention to detail, customer service skills and friendliness. I felt as if I was a burden and treated like an outcast. Repeat situation on multiple stays.Evening; 2 staff members working. Completely ignored and not aknoweledged multiple times while entering and leaving the hotel. This is a repeat situation on multiple stays.
Okay. I can truly speak about this place. I have been here for 45 days. Six+ weeks. I have an honest and unbiased opinion, because quite frankly I have experienced the best and worst of being here. Except there is no worst. First, I have traveled up to 48 weeks a year in past incantations of my career. I have stayed in stellar properties not just here, but also globally. I can truly say, without a doubt, this is my favorite hotel. Are the rooms bigger than others? No. Is there a valet service? No. Is there a spa? No. But there is the best staff-- from front desk, to restaurant, to housekeeping-- I have ever experienced. I am sold on the Hilton experience, solely on staying here. If you stay in this area, you stay here. If every Hilton property is up to this standard, it is the only place to stay.
I stay a second time, the rooms are nice, clean linens. Audibility is low by the way, thats why the girl goes there again :) The price is fully consistent with the quality, a good double bed, TV in the room, wardrobe, table, chair, bedside table. I like this ethel and the prices do not bite. Big plus - breakfast is free.· The only negative - there is no toilet and shower are common, not in the room, but this drawback is completely discouraged by the cost of the room. Believe me, there are such hotels that I want to move out of after five minutes, and the hotel AT THE DRIVE made me very happy.
This hotel was beautiful. Loved our room. I actually thought the bed was comfortable and the pillows didnt go flat on me when using them. Staff at the front desk was very friendly. Two things to point out though was that the shower floor looked stained. Shocked since the hotel seemed so new. And the other thing is that there was no water out when we left. This is something Im used to seeing at most hotels but always at Hilton Garden Inns. Not docking stars for it though because its possible I missed it?!
Great customer service. There was only one associate available when I checked in. Samantha remained poised and patient with the customer on the phone and was very apologetic when she was ready to help me. Cherry on top was the free upgrade to a king suite with beverages and snacks!
The hotel itself was very clean and nice. The staff was super friendly and and helpful. They made the stay pleasant and enjoyable. We had a king size room that had a nice size closet, a mini fridge, keurig, large flat screen TV, and a beautiful bathroom. The shower itself was great had nice nice pressure and the water got very hot.
I had a room block for my wedding with this hotel. I choose this hotel because Stefanie told me that I would be provided a shuttle to and from my venue two hours before unlimited and that if I wanted the return I would pay for the shuttle to and from two hours after unlimited. That was a key piece for me as I knew an ample amount of guest would be staying at the hotel and did not want the traveling in their own vehicles. I also wanted 5 rooms blocked of the day before for the wedding party and with a guarantee of 15 room the day of the wedding Stefanie say I would have a complimentary stay in the bridal suite for myself and my husband. Again another reason why we chose this hotel. Well, two weeks before the wedding when finalizing everything Stefanie explained “she didn’t realize with traffic how long it would take for the shuttle to get to and from the venue and that it was out side of the 5 mile limit” 6.7 to be exact. And that she would be able to only do 2 rides (initially she said 1) before the wedding. Then she said that after it could also only be two rides despite the lack of traffic at 12:30 am, because her drivers couldn’t work this late. All perfectly sound arguments that needed to be explain prior to us choosing this hotel for our room block not 2 weeks before. To add to this when it came time to check in. I was told that we did not get a complimentary room by Jennifer, that they do no such thing. I had to show Jennifer the email between Stefanie and I stating the room was complimentary and miraculously it was then possible. When my husband and I arrived to our bridal suite they was supposed to be champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to celebrate our marriage and there was nothing. It was very disappointing experience. The only reason why I am even giving a two star is because the rooms we nice and clean and the food during my welcome party was on time and tasty. However, the overall experience just added stress to an already stressful event.
We went for a wedding and the hotel was fine. It was clean and the front desk people were nice. The walls are paper thin though and the bathroom lacked privacy bc of the sliding barn door. What really irked me was the fact that someone on the cleaning staff knocked on our door at 8am the night after the wedding. She knocked until I woke up and had to get out of bed thus ruining my sleep. I don’t understand at all. We were checking out that day so no reason for that.
It is a very nice place and comfortable to stay. The quality of everything was excellent. However it is very apparent that they are understaffed. They were trying very hard but overall the service time for the bar and food was very slow. I would recommend it to anyone who stays in the area but would warn that their patience will be tested.
The service at this hotel is simply exceptional. Ive stayed at far FAR more expensive hotels and didnt receive nearly the level of great service I received at this hotel. Dori at the front desk, Christopher at the restaurant and bar and JC in engineering and shuttle driver were extremely helpful and friendly. Hilton, management and staff should all be extremely proud of what they are doing.
Hotel is clean but service is not great. Booked at this hotel for my wedding, confirmed on several occasions that I had an early check in, when I got there (day of wedding BTW) I was told the room was unavailable and the front desk staff person had a nasty attitude. Ended up getting a room after speaking with a manager. However, it was a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience (as you can imagine). I would not stay here again.
The hotel is nice enough. Why only three stars?Thin walls and adjoining room doors made for a noisy two night stay having been woken up by loud voices from neighboring rooms each evening. The second night was by far the worst. Wedding drunks returned to their room at 2:00 in morning seemingly seeking to keep the party going. Between their complete lack of communication and the lack.of any sound barrier our being able to sleep was all but impossable and we had a long drive home to rest for. It actually made for a dangerous drive the following day. There were at least three separate wedding parties staying there that night. Given the cheap construction and guest makeup I cant imagine that this is not a regular occurrence. To their credit the staff was responsive however the damage was done.
We are well traveled and have stayed at this property twice within the past 2 months. Both times, the housekeeping was mediocre at best. On the most recent trip, we arrived late in the evening to find the room entry tile was quite dirty. Someone has spilled coffee or something like it. Being tired, we waited and reported it the next morning before going out. Upon returning, the room had been serviced but the floor still dirty! We went down to speak with the front desk staff, who were apologetic and promised to have it taken care of promptly. Additionally, they offered a free breakfast to both of us. The next day, our room was not serviced at all! We were out for the day and returned at 7pm to change for dinner, and were told the regular housekeeping staff was gone for the day but the housemen would freshen the room and replace the towels... are you kidding me? Room service trays are left in the hallway for days on end, which cannot be good from an insect/rodent perspective. The front desk staff is nice enough and Christopher the bartender is excellent. We were scheduled to stay here again for Christmas but cancelled our reservation. We would rather stay somewhere else than deal with this again. And by the way... only my husband had a breakfast and it was charged to our bill.Update 10/23/18:After reading the reply by Mr. Gomes, the hotel manager, it further evident that the Hilton Garden Inn Roslyn truly doesnt care about the short comings of their property or the comfort of their guests.Mr. Gomes requested I contact him, whereas anyone in the hospitality industry would reach out to their disappointed guest. Additionally, he didnt even provide a direct email address or phone number.Obviously, this was a half hearted reply, solely for survey purposes. Clearly, there was no goal to impress here.

2022-04-13I really want to give this hotel a high rating, but I can’t exactly do that. The room was absolutely gorgeous, but the restaurant service was very slow, and one of the waitresses did not communicate very clearly on questions regarding items on the menu. In addition, the pool and hot tub also happened to be closed. I just needed to stay here for one night before getting a COVID test and visiting family, and wanted some entertainment, but sadly not. Maybe I just stayed on a bad day. I do truly believe it is a great place, it’s just my experience this one particular day was not so good.

2022-05-23The department which handles room blocks for weddings is an absolute disaster. I worked with Stefanie and the communication was poor throughout (no response for 2+ weeks, following up multiple times, getting an email back from her that was a complete sentence was like pulling teeth) but she reassured me every time we spoke that everything was all good and I really thought everything was all good up until 3 days before my wedding. I just happened to login to the Hilton Honors website to check my booking and I noticed the reservation that I had booked via Stefanie for the premium room which they dub their bridal suite had changed. They had us checking out of that room on our wedding morning and moving to a different room. I looked back at my confirmation email from June 2021 to make sure I wasnt going crazy but sure enough the reservation had changed, with absolutely no notice from anyone, no email that my reservation had been modified, no phone call. If I hadnt checked the website we would have been in the middle of getting ready for the wedding with no idea we were supposed to check-out that day and go into another room. We had 9 girls + 4 person hair/makeup team which is why we needed the premium room. Stefanie was away so she couldnt be reached when I called. I spoke to Megan who said something happened last weekend with the premium rooms availability AKA they overbooked it. They let me and the girls stay in the room and get ready until we had to leave for my wedding at 1:40PM but it was extremely stressful having to run back and forth moving our stuff into a new room when we were on such a time crunch. I completely filled my 50-room block and booked an 85 person brunch the next day and this is the kind of customer service that is provided here. They wouldnt even comp the room for their mistake...The hotel itself is nice but do not trust the sales staff when they tell you that youre good to go or everything is all good.

2022-03-30Great hotel for guests to stay for events like weddings. We were in town for my cousins bat mitzvah. Big area to gather in. Lobby can get noisy in afternoons pre-wedding and post-wedding. Odd that the bar isnt staffed in the afternoons on weekends. Rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Staff is very helpful.

2022-05-22Hilton Garden Inn is a good solid brand. I have stayed in many of them from CA, to NY and in between and they always deliver a good experience. This Roslyn location was good, easy to find and get into Port Washington or Great Neck. The place was well kept, not a dirty window or door handle in the place. The staff, for the most part was pleasant and helpful.

2022-05-17This is very nice hotel located in the heart of Rosyln, NY near the Jolly Fishman and a short drive from Miracle mile. The staff treats you like a VIP, the rooms are clean and well lit. The lobby has a bar and restaurant and I hear that they have an indoor pool. its a bit pricey and breakfast is not included but I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.

2022-06-06The 5 stars is comparing this hotel against the one by JFK and LGA. What a pleasant surprise. Staff - Friendly and professional. Restaurant/Bar - For a hotel, very good with a decent selection of spirits. Cleanliness - 5 stars for the lobby and surrounding areas. Pool/Gym - Again, for a hotel - adequate and clean, unlike the filth from the other 2 Hilton/Hamptons by the airports. The Room - no bed bugs which is a huge plus, very clean, comfortable firm bed that doesnt squeak when moving around, layout is very nice and other than the paper thin wall which all these hotels have and the view of the HVAC equipment - excellent stay.Update at 2:30am. Loses stars for allowing the partying to continue all night when some of us need to work at 6am. Too bad, I had higher hopes. Another 6 nights here-hopefully it doesn’t continue.

2022-03-15Great Place! The room was very clean. The staff was very nice. The entire hotel was impressive. Is also awesome that it has free parking. Thank you!
