One of best Caribbean vegan food, and herbal stores in the Bronx. The prices are reasonable, and flavors robust. It’s a must try to the vegans or ones who are conscious of healthy food options,

Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Able to pick up all my natural, herbal remedies. Becoming one of my favorite places to visit.

This place is simply amazing. Fresh food that is delicious. They are very generous with their portions and have a great selection. The only thing I would warn anyone about is that the aroma coming from the food is so amazing that its extremely difficult to resist eating it immediately. Even my car smells good from the aroma. Highly recommended!

Great spot in the Bronx for healthy choices. You can ask the staff questions you have for recommendations. If ur looking into herbal medicine you can add HIM to ur list. And while ur there try any one of their delicious patties. My favorite is the fish patty and the ackee patty.

Everything Ive had here is incredibly delicious, from bean stew to okra to faux meat soy dishes to patties to cookies and even something I never enjoy, kale, somehow they make me like it here! I feel very welcomed too when I go in. Id give them 6 stars if I could, great spot.

I’m a new “Vegan”. My barber (skyline barbershop) told me about this place he goes to and what can I say... ABSOLUTELY AMAZEBALLS. Very quaint but it has soooo many different things. I always find myself just looking around in amazement. I’ve been there 3-4 times and the customer service has always been on point especially the young woman and the owner I believe. Delicious food, I only wish they had what I like consistently (black bean balls). However everything I’ve ever purchased has been so freaking good! I buy my detox, incense, sage, everything there! Initially from the outside looking in it could look a little intimidating. The neighborhood it’s in, some of the ppl hanging out. But looks can be deceiving. Even the customers help you out! I really like this place and will continue my vegan journey with them...

I have been coming here ever since I discovered them on Burke Avenue. I am not vegetarian nor vegan, but tend to visit a lot of these types of restaurants to try new dishes. This review is coming from someone who has tried Blossum, Gobo, VSpot, Candle 79, and many others. I also use to be a Health Inspector for the city, so I did a lot of traveling and tried different places during my lunch breaks.Hands down best vegan food in the city, or at least its up there in my top two favorite vegetarian/vegan ever. Everyone I have taken here has enjoyed the food. If youve never experienced food made with absolute love, then you really have to try their food. All the dishes I have tried are well seasoned with fresh herbs in a wonderful mix of complex flavors. As far as operations, this establishment is a to-go type of eatery. You go in, order from their selection of the day, and then pay. The staff are really friendly, and are not the type to kiss your ass. However, if you have questions or want to learn more they are VERY knowledgable. Again, they are not there to kiss your ass, so get off your high horse or go somewhere else where they add a grain of salt to your food. They work really hard and are really kind, so they deserve the respect.Their main menu is typically what they make for the day. They offer cake slices (death by chocolate, cheesecake and some others), and plenty; varying teas, tonics, and herbs. There are some pretty good books too.I dont normally review but they are absolutely worth my time. I really love this place and hope they continue their good work spreading the love.
