Hobby Lobby in other cities:
This is a great place to go shopping for crafts at affordable prices. They are almost always having a sale and if you go into there website you get 40% off the highest prices thing every time you go there but, you have to show them the barcode from the website. I was able to get everything I needed to make this.
Huge place with many possibilities to see. I do paper projects and the sale is on. So I stocked up on what I use most often. I could spend hours here just checking out decor to photo frames to markers and glue. Checkout is usually a breeze and if there is a mistake, they correct it promptly.
New place to love for my crafts! My daughter in law goes to HL once in a while but since I moved up here I hadnt had the chance. So for my belated birthday gift she took me and invited 3 other ladies to join. Ooooooo it was a fantastic trip! HL is a great place to shop for craft supplies! If it was a bit closer it would probably be MY craft store of choice! I recommend this door to anybody that has a crafting need. They have pretty much anything and everything you would want.
Clean safe area to shop at and staff willing to help you. Needed some art supplies, went to other places which I now regret. This place had what I purchased elsewhere cheaper and more variety at that. Should have came here first lesson learned.Parking at this plaza can get busy quickly. I was in and out with my purchase.
There are really good sales, the products are good and the staff is friendly. The thing I like a lot is that everything has a price sticker on it, most places you have to look on shelves and search but everything is priced here. Another thing I like is that they are closed on Sundays so the staff can worship and spend time with their families. Thats what it says on the hours sign and its wonderful! Not many businesses do that anymore!
A huge store, from the paper art perspective, so many to choose from. You can always find a bargain! I found gold shiny clothes pins for a banner, just the touch! Christmas decorations? Now? They have been out since around September! Whatever you need you just might find it.
It is a store that appeals to my idea of what a traditional U.S. store has been. I also like very much the values that Hobby Lobby promotes and are upholding. Especially, during these trying times this country is going thru. Family values to pass forward to our next generations. Love of God and country.
This store has everything! Its super clean & the employees are amazingly knowledgeable! I highly suggest keeping an eye on their website (they always have a 40% off one regular priced item) & their sales! Many items are initially highly priced, but between the coupon, their sales & *especially* their clearances, you can get amazing items at a great discount! If youre not artistically inclined, they have tons of decor items! Everything from furniture to hanging items, candles... just everything!
I have not been made to feel welcome everytime I go to this store. I love their merchandise but everytime I go there I encounter weird looks from both the staff and customers more so than in other webster store. Im hispanic and mixed black kids. Last time I was there before xmass with my sister and we didnt realize they were closing the store an employee approached us and basically admonished us the store was closing and we need to check out. It wasnt what she said but how she said it and looked at us. It feels like they dont like people of color there.
Lots of good stuff. I do really like this store but wish the employees were friendlier . I have been in this store (Webster, NY) quite often and have NEVER been greeted or even talked to by an employee. Even at check out I feel like Im annoying them by being in their line. I guess I expect more from a Christian Store. On the upside, the store is super clean!
My wife comes to hobby lobby to find pieces for the jewelry she makes. Their products are top notch and she is able to find the quality that she is looking for. Whole she shops, I am able to walk around and always find some nifty item to bring home with me. The ks for having great service, products, and prices!
I applied for a job there. I am a Navy Veteran with a degree in interior design. I am a female. Not only did they bump me to a lower paying position that I had applied for but the manager blatantly lied to my face. It may have a lot of nice pretty little things but on the business side they are untrustworthy. Also a shout out to all the lower level employees who work for the Hobby Lobby chains. You are the back bones of this industry and you deserve a better base pay and benefits instead of being exploited by your employers.
Although the website said they had specific needles for my sewing machine they didnt end up having those exact ones. I ended up spending more on a different needle set and they worked but I was disappointed about the lack of store to website communication on product availability.
What a wonderful store. Went there for the first time, traveled from Canada. The selection is very good and there is so much. If there is a negative it is that it takes many trips to actually know what is in the store. Pricing of course is great and always a coupon on line. Overhead music is a blessing. Loved it and came home with memories.
While I love Hobby Lobby in general. This store was overall just depressing to walk around. The atmosphere was confusing because they had placed so much product into the middle of the main aisles. Then the shelves are not stocked. Then checking out customers kept getting yelled at by an employee because they werent fully behind a line.
Big store with a large variety of furniture and home decor as well as art and hobby supplies. I just bought some pretty floral stems which were on sale 50% off. I like the furniture and the home decor items but Im shocked at the prices for furniture, much of which is in very poor condition which I found last time I was there. Why display furniture for sale that is lop sided or has cracks or chipped paint?
This store has amazing selection of everything you could possibly want in the arts and crafts arena. They do a good job of presentation and keeping the place in order and customer service is good too. If you are looking for a gift for your artsy family member or friend, you can probably just browse through the aisles until you find just the right thing.
My aunt went in to return paint with her receipt to return two can of paint she paid 9.99 each. the lady refunded her at sale price after she clearly paid full. had a terrible attitude.another filled her counter with her purchases and then the clerk told her go to the other register after the lady removed her belongings... the lady said OR-NOT... seems shes needing a customer service attitude class many people need jobs and would treat people better then this trashy lady.
Despite disagreeing with the owners politics I really enjoy finding unique things for my home here. My only issue is never being able to find staff for help and when you do corral someone they arent very helpful or friendly. The line to check out is also usually quite long. If you do go make sure to go online for a coupon. You can usually find a 40% off anything full price coupon.
I love Hobby Lobby! Their options on decor are great and prices are pretty decent especially if you can get them while theyre on sale. Too bad its a bit out of the way from where I live. Never the less, I take a couple trips out to this location a couple of times when the seasons change to pick up clearance items.
Love this store but their customer service could use some work. I purchased balloons from here and called a few days later to ask if they had helium to blow them up. The woman that answered the phone was very rude and hung up on me. I called back to get her name so I could speak to her manager. She refused to give me her name and continued to have a very poor attitude with me. I called at 4:03pm on 11/02 and really hope management sees this review so they can take this up with the woman. I work in customer service and know sometimes things can be hectic but having a bad attitude toward a customer is not professional.
I walked into the store about 5 minutes before they were closing, just looking for one specific item really quick. I asked the cashier if she knew where I could find it and she knew exactly where it was and pointed me in the right direction. Very well informed employees.
Went to the local Webster Hobby Lobby last week to purchase sprinkles for my daughters birthday cupcakes that I couldnt find anywhere else. The sprinkles were $4.99. When I got to the counter to pay I waited in line (bc why have more than one register open? - always a problem!) and my cell phone (Verizon provider/brand new iPhone) was getting zero internet service and I couldnt pull up a 40% off coupon. The cashier had zero empathy about helping me with the coupon situation (overly tanned older woman whos worked there forever - apparently nicknamed by others the Coupon Nazi) and told me to go in the parking lot, get service, and come back in. Im sorry, but that coupon is on your website - not some special coupon mailed to me or clipped from the paper - the whole world can access it. Shes popped those same 5 digits into her register Im sure dozens of times for that coupon. Got outside, get coupon, go back in and have to stand in a line 5 customers deep AGAIN like I hadnt just done it! Had I not needed that specific sprinkle for my daughters cake, I would have been GONE to another store! For being a christian business, that was probably one of the rudest, most unchristian-like experiences I have dealt with for a $1.99 savings ever. Also, being everyone I told the story to knew exactly who this woman was and even had nicknamed her the coupon Nazi she clearly gives a lot of customers a hard time. Not cool Hobby Lobby! That is not how you show you value your customers or provide excellent customer service.
The store is very clean and well organized. I was thrilled with the display of drawer pulls and was able to buy some that looked almost exactly like Mackenzie-Childs. Its been tough for me to remember that it is closed on Sundays, and I wish it was closer to me.As for those of you who are spouting off your ignorance of the facts; just shop elsewhere. . . and study the facts.
Asked for an item today after I could not find it and was told it was OVER THERE. It is a very large store and did not know where OVER THERE was. After some discussion the sales assoc. walked me over to the area and we found that the store did not have any hanging plants (item I wanted). i was really discussed with the way I was treated, and this was not the first time.
I really like shopping here because of the large variety of decor and supplies for the many projects I work on. But I hate to ask the employees where things are located because they all seem irritated and unhappy to help you. I avoid shopping in the decor section when a certain woman who stocks the shelves is there because she slams stuff around as she is stocking shelfs and mumbles hatefully under her breath.
They have lots of nice stuff to pick from. Most of the stuff is on sale. When you bring it to the cash register its up to the cashier to plug in what is on sale. That leaves a human error mistake that something is on sale in wont get put through. They keep a cart next to the cash register because so many signs are confusing people pick things up that are on sale and put them back because they really arent on sale. They need to mark their items better.
For me personally, this store is a toy store. It has a feel to me like a combination of Home Goods and Michaels, but displayed much more attractively. I can say there is something for everyone at any age there. Just walking around for fun. Its EYE candy. Bet you will buy something. Use coupon of website. Framing Department is OUTSTANDING, ESP. woman who helped my friend the past 2 saturdays. Incredible all around.
Im giving this 5 stars mainly on the content of the stuff they have in there. Aside from their models and stuff like that, they have a HUGE collection of signs to hang in your basement/man cave/theatre. Lots of comic/nerd stuff, car stuff, general man stuff, etc. I could shop in there for days adding stuff to my basement. Hard to find stuff like that without going to the mall or shopping online. Glad its a little closer in this case.
Praise God for giving us Hobby Lobby.... This is seriously my favorite store. Even better than TJ Maxx and Home Goods. You could decorate 20 houses and still never run out of stuff. We get all of our home decor, Christmas gifts, frames and mattes, etc. We love that theyre a faith based store and not open Sundays. But even youre not a believer- its still a fantastic store. Everything is always 50%!
We love Hobby Lobby and their 40% off coupons! We do item and price compare with Target and Michaels that are right across the street. Hobby Lobby usually wins! If it is a tie, we almost always give the business to Hobby Lobby because we want to make sure they stay. Hobby Lobby has things the others dont do we would have for them to ever leave. The only thing my daughter would love for Hobby Lobby to get more of is a better selection of rainbow loom bands. :-)
I couldnt find what I was looking for so I see an employee and go to her for help! I tell her what I am looking for and she gets all mad then says to me Jesus Christ! And stomps off I said I am sorry! She still has attitude I am in the other aisle telling my husband what she did And said! That was it for him we set everything down what we were going to purchase and walked out! We refuse to be treated that way and then spend money there to boot! Hobby Lobby hires very rude and crude workers!
Horrible store owned by people determined to force their religious beliefs into their employees health care.I feel so sorry for people forced by these economic times to work there.Avoid at all costs, protect our freedom from our bosses religion.Invests in companies making the drugs they wont cover, profits from goods made in a forced abortion country. So Christian of them.
I love that they carry a unique variety of crafts, however a few of their workers are the nastiest people to come in contact with. There is one individual who must hate her job to no end, you ask her a question and look out as she turns into the exorcist, get out of customer service if you arent a people person!
Looking for wedding invitations. Cant find them. Finally see someone who works there, my dad asks for invitations. She told us they were over a couple rows, brought us to them. Nope, wrong invitations. So I walk from one end of the store to another and I cant find anyone until I go up front. I see a lady putting together a shelf. So I go up and day excuse me. She doesnt acknowledge me until I put my phone down and show her the picture of the invitations and ask where they are. She answers me back as if Im bother her gets irritated and says ugh I dont even know what are those invitations for a party a wedding what?! I answered her questions and went over there. Still cant find it because all she told me was it back by the flower. So I see another lady and I ask her where the wedding stuff is, she just points and says nothing. Here is the thing 1) first lady should have asked what kind of invitations we were looking fo . 2)why is this place poorly staffed? 3) do not ever make a customer feel like they are bothering you 4) dont just point use your word .All in all I will not be doing back this Hibby Lobby.
Hobby Lobby in Webster is a good place for arts and crafts and I usually have a good experience there. However, during this visit, one of the items I was buying didnt have a price tag but instead of making sure about the price, the roving staff - a frazzled and grouchy older blond woman whom the cashier asked to check the price - threw out an amount and left. Since it was a pretty high guesstimate, I asked the cashier to just remove it from the items she rung up.
I will no longer shop at Hobby Lobby due to their stance on the Affordable Health Care Act. The act has been deemed constitutional by a very conservative Supreme Court of teh United States. I disagree with the stores management regarding their refusal to comply with the Affordable Health Care Act.

2022-02-21If you ask for assistance from a clerk, they simply point to a direction and you wonder off hoping to find your way.Clerks, not overly friendly.Go to Michaels store, when asking for help they will take you to the area and assist you in finding your item. Always pleasant folks. Both stores do not provide you with a bag regardless if you have numerous items. So bring a bag! Stores do not care to provide a bag unless you buy one.... The little things any business provides a customer appreciates it and willBe remembered. Customer service is not what it use to be,sadly. Most of the time I feel like, come into our store, spend your $ and get Out!!!!

2022-04-23Plenty of variety in crafts and decor items, although cross-stitch kits seem to be the same ones that have been there for at least the last year. But always fun to browse around!

2022-05-13Good yarn selection and prices, which is mainly what I go for. Customer service is just ok. Decor is ok if youre into that modern farmhouse vibe, which Im not. They do not use barecodes (?? In 2022?), which has led to my order being rung up incorrectly and subsequently causing an issue with a return.

2022-07-05All sales associates seem to know the products in the store very well. I like the fact that Hobby Lobby respects Sundays and closes the store for business. If customers are not Christians, they can respect this day as a day for families and family gatherings.

2022-04-16Always enjoy everything in the store except for the music. Somewhat depressing, doesnt set the mood for creativity. But I like the companys practices respect for their employees.
