We reserved a suite with 2 queen beds. Having 3 children it can be difficult finding suitable accommodations. This room was large and 4 of us were able to sleep on the 2 queen beds. There was also a couch that I believed pulled out to a bed and a lounge chair. My one daughter chose to sleep on the lounge chair. We also brought an air mattress just in case. Weve had to use that at other hotels. Although we did not use the air mattress, there was plenty of room to place the air mattress on the floor. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel looked and smelled clean. Weve recently stayed in several other hotels and this was not the case. The breakfast buffet was one of the better ones weve experienced.
Positive: Perfect location. Awesome large clean room. Large awesome bathroom. Mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hairdryer, safe, iron and ironing board in the room. Excellent Breakfast set up!. Pool, exercise room. Wished I could have stayed longer! Negative: My only gripe was the lighting in the bathroom for the mirror. Wasn¿t bright enough to do my hair and makeup.
The Breakfast staff was pleasant, as was the selection of food for breakfast. Job well done.fully 10 out of 10.The housekeeping staff was similarly pleasant. Both staff made me feel welcome, home away from home. Thank you very much for great service. My hope is that you will be safe and protected in this trying time of Covid-19
During our recent stay the Holiday Inn Express in Webster, NY offered good service, good breakfast options (free), and a clean comfortable room all managed by a friendly staff. I would be hard-pressed to find something about which to complain (other than the unpleasant man who, for some reason, was unhappy with either the TV or the news channel being aired in the lobby and loudly verbalized his displeasure to a staff member who handled it all in a quiet and professional manner). In-room safe and refrigerator are a plus. Due to COVID-19 concerns room housekeeping was not available and was not an issue for us and we appreciated the concern given to guests and staff (who all wore face masks) alike. Indoor pool and hot tub is nice and having the park and pond for next door with a walking and exercise path is very nice. We have stayed here before while visiting family and will have no problem with staying here again in the future.
Staff at hotel are friendly and always happy to answer any questions and help in any way they can.The entire hotel is clean, well maintained and in a location with ample restaurants, shopping and sightseeing activities. Lake Ontario is directly down the road from the hotel less than 5 minute ride. A one mile paved walking trail is behind the hotel which features a large pond and benches to just sit and enjoy the scenery. Hotel is extremely user friendly and loved our visit.
This is one of the cleanest and nicest hotels that I have ever stayed in. The modern rooms were really nice, almost making it feel like a little studio apartment. The staff was very nice and pleasant no matter what time of day it was. If Im back in that area again, Ill be staying here!!
Another Holiday Inn that I can say is great..The front desk staff very attentive, helpful and professional. I ask for help finding a place to get food and he printed me a list of resturants near by. After a long drive I came to the hotel very tired and hungry, and I am glad with the positive warm welcome I received.
By far this has been the best IHG we have stayed at! Clean clean clean! Well re-designed and comfortable throughout! The staff at the desk were very welcoming and cheerful! Pool and fitness center area were clean and accommodating! The breakfast was good as well. Highly recommend if in Rochester Area!!!! 2 Thumbs Up!
We came from Virginia to stay at IHG for my Moms memorial service. I booked three rooms for my family and they were all getting in at different times. Turns out one of my daughters couldnt make it since they cancelled her flight. The front desk was so accommodating about making the changes and expressed their sympathy too. Mary (or Sarah) , not sure of the name, suggested we facetime the service for the missing daughter, which we did! What a wonderful suggestion. The rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable. The hot breakfast was very much appreciated in the morning as well. Would have given the staff and service a 5 star, but with covid restrictions we had no cleaning, which is understandable, while we were there. Overall, great place at a value price.
We arrived on a Saturday and evidently there was a party downstairs. We were on the 4th. floor and had 2 boys sprinting up and down the hallway all night until midnight. Told the staff the next morning and they apologized and offered 20% off. (Which we did not get). We left a day sooner than expected just because of the very uncomfortable bed. Next time we come to Webster we will stay at the Hampton instead. I have 2 brothers and a sister in Webster, so we will be returning.
The room was clean and the breakfast was adequate (minimal choices, but decent quality). Sleep quality was poor each night we stayed here, however. The management was aware of groups on the patio playing music as late as 12:30 am (quiet hours are 10 pm). We could hear the music on the 3rd floor at the end of the building. It must be popular since there was late night outdoor music during our other night too. The front desk also allowed a prank call to go to our room at 2:30 am (no one knew our room number or that we were staying at the hotel)… just bizarre. We won’t be back.
My stay was perfect. Price was competitive. Clean hotel and rooms. Front desk and housekeeping pleasant and timely. I forgot a personal item and housekeeping was able to provide the item. I could not hear any noise outside of my room. Hotel, common areas and parking lot well lit and safe. I will stay here the next time I visit. I usually don’t stay at Holliday Inn Express due to poor past experiences but this new location was amazing and I am now willing to look at Holiday Inn’s in the future when I travel.
It is a quiet location for a getaway, the hotel rooms were clean and breakfast was packed individually with clear observance of CDC guidelines. The staff was quick to suggest cancelling my reservation instead of honoring the request I made at booking for two adjoining or side by side rooms because I was traveling with my children. We were assigned two rooms apart facing a staircase, that kept me half asleep at night.
The suite was very large and nice looking, beds were very comfortable, and everything was very clean without having any scent whatsoever which I like. The whole building was clean and nice looking, staff were so friendly. One staff member gave me some Tylenol without charging me when I had a headache! I will recommend this particular hotel and will be back with my family for sure. Pool is the biggest draw for us as a family.
I spent 5 nights here and I must say the staff from the check in desk to the housekeeping crew were all excellent. If you need something they found it. If you had questions they answered them. Highly recommend. Will definitely stay here the next time I visit Rochester.
We have stayed at this hotel before, so when we needed a hotel in webster we booked again. The staff was so great! No matter what you need they are there for you. The best breakfast in the cleanest hotel you will ever see. I highly recommend the Holiday Inn in Webster.
The hotel is in a good location, close to shopping and restaurants in Webster. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful as was the breakfast prep staff. Speaking of breakfast, the hot breakfasts were very good and avried as we stayed at the hotel for 4 night (Tues-Fri) especially the hot cinnamon buns (Yummy). We will absolutely stay here on our next visit to the Rochester area.
Good location near restaurants and retail, but set back in a quiet area. Hotel was clean, protocols followed. Signs everywhere notifying guests of policies and procedures. Was actually sometimes too quiet! Breakfast was a bit lackluster, but they’re doing what they can in covid times. There are plenty of options nearby for a quick bite. Front desk ladies were super friendly and helpful!
Positive: Room and cleanliness great. Negative: Staff horrible. 25 min past checkout, aid knocked, we said we were leaving, yet she still entered room. Manager did not apologize, said it was their practice. Spent 45 minutes on phone with IT trying to get connected to wifi, unsuccessfully.
It was fantastic and I would have given it five stars, but I tried to get a room today and someone said that, I was gonna receive higher rates on the weekends. Then I called another one and the rates were the same as it was at the one prior to the in Webster. No prob, but iffy.
Holiday Inn Express has really raised the bar and is the brand that I choose now when I travel. This location is not as close to RIT as Id prefer but its worth the 15-minute drive. The only thing I would change about the rooms would be the comfort of the mattress, which I found to be too firm. I will definitely be back.
Super friendly and accommodating staff .Kara and her team were great. The location is fantastic right next to north ponds Park so you can walk the trail and fish or relax .Outdoor gas fire pit and furniture for visiting with others. I had a group of people coming for a wedding and they all were very pleased with their rooms and the hotel amenities.Very clean facility and rooms.
Comfortable hotel in Webster. Close to shopping center and easy to get to from the airport. Staff were excellent. I was only there for 2 nights, but staff seemed to remember me when I return. Staff were always looking to help and were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was great.
Great hotel.Had our whole family there.Beds were very clean & comfy.Hallways were very wide for my husband to be able to use his electric wc.Pool, hot tub, roomy excercise roomLovely young lady Shamira worked front desk..very helpful & friendlyBreakfast, quite a assortment of foods, hot & cold..Sold out when we were there 😀
We had a nice room, clean and quiet. Everything was nice, breakfast was average, with the choices of - coffee, muffins, cereal, orange juice, banana, orange, and granola bar. We could not make our own coffee, or pick our own breakfast choices, as we had done at other hotels, the staff would get whatever we wanted, and hand it to us. Otherwise, all was good overall.
· Location was really great. Right off of 104, already on my route to work, but just far enough out of Rochester that it wasnt too busy. Also a gas station and dunkin donuts right across the road. Wegmans a two minute drive away. The bed was comfortable. They have a perfectly reasonable (and preferable honestly) system now for house keeping (you have to request it); I work overnights and sleep all day s o it was great not to stress about having a house keeper knock on my door in the middle of the day. The shades in the room are incredible; Keeps the room super dark and makes it much easier to sleep through the day before work than any other hotel or AirBnB Ive stayed at. Front desk staff were always there and very kind, responsive pleasant, and helpful. The pool is available and it felt luxurious to be the only one using an indoor pool in a hotel at 0800. Breakfast system was plenty adequate, and the warm cinnamon rolls they have on some mornings are absolutely delicious. · Spa/Hot tub was broken and unavailable for use, that was a big bummer. On a less positive note I had asked a front desk person if I could extend my reservation to five extra days (I had finally gotten an updated schedule and learned that I had to work a few more shifts) past my original check out date. She took a look at the reservation I currently had and said that she could do it, and do it for a better price than what the booking site had offered, so she would have me checking out and checking in the same day, with a better rate for the last few days. But apparently that didnt make it into the computer, so I woke up (made a day trip home to get more clothes) to a voicemail asking if I wanted to hotel to throw away my stuff or if I wanted to come pick my things up because the housekeepers found my things still in the room when they went to clean it after my checkout (I had A LOT of stuff still in the room). I just about pooped my pants worrying that my brand new work clothes, fancy pillow that I take with me, my expensive perfume, my new duffle bag, all of my toiletries had been chucked/moved/misplaced. Thankfully when I called they were able to actually add in the new dates for my reservation, and my things hadnt been removed from my room; They wait to hear back from you before they do away with things. But still, I do wish my reservation extension had been put in the computer in the days prior when I asked. That had me sitting awake for a couple hours stuck in stress mode.
We would not recommend staying here. My wife woke up with over 50 bed bug bites. The hotel denied the presence and there was clear evidence of an infestation. There is a very loud noise coming from the roof. The breakfast area was packed in the morning with no place to eat, and the breakfast choices were limited.
My wife had to be transferred to a hospital in Rochester and the exact dates were not known. I called the front desk because the date of my stay was going to change and they changed them with no hassle. They also let me know that if my dates changed again to let them know and they would fix it.When I finally got to the hotel, they upgraded me to a suite. Check in was no hassle, a really great room and friendly and helpful staff.
This is a conveniently located hotel off Route 104. There are no restaurants within a short walking distance, so you must be willing to drive. The hotel lobby and common spaces were very clean and welcoming. Rooms were nice, though ours smelled musty.Breakfast was limited and unimpressive.
With hospitality establishments such as hotels still dealing with COVID-19 protocols, the hotel experience I am accustomed to is not there - that is no knock on the hotel, its just a fact. The staff was courteous, and the room was perfect for a family of four. My only critique, is the WiFi signal was less than spotty at best. Being enrolled in a course with timed quizzes, this was very inconvenient. Thankfully the front desk had a hard-line ethernet cable, but had they not had that on hand, I would have been in trouble. First world problem obviously, but I do suggest bolstering your WiFi strength at this particular location. One other note - when I called the property and highlighted a room rate from the IHG website, I was informed that I would need to still book through IHG to secure that rate. When using a different chain, the specific property will automatically price match ANY website, let alone their primary LLC website.
Excellent hotel experience especially during pandemic times. The room was a different layout that really caught our eye. The way everything was arranged was very interesting and unique as well as spacious. Everything was clean top to bottom and very comfortable and welcoming.
I thought it was a great experience. The two issues we had were finding old socks under bed and the breakfast was not great except for the packaged food. As for the socks we were a little caught off guard but certainly not anything that would cause us to not use your hotels. Those things happen especially during these tough times. Not big deal. The prepared food pancake and eggs were not good but you had other things to choose.
I utilized the hotel for work travel convenience, as well as a bon voyage to a co-worker beginning her new adventures. The hotel was comfortable, which helped since I was stepping out of my comfort zone in an unfamiliar land, both literally and metaphorically. And OMG those bathroom mirror lights made us look hawt.
We enjoyed our five night stay in Webster despite the challenges associated with traveling during the COVID-19 epidemic. The two bed suite was large enough for my family of 5 to spread out thanks to the sleeper sofa and additional chaise lounge. I payed for my stay with points and found the value to be one of the highest I’ve ever had at an IHG property. I understand why the traditional breakfast was not available for our safety but I was a bit disappointed with the limited selection for the continental breakfast as there were no low carb food options available. The staff was very courteous and friendly throughout our stay and even permitted us to use the pool for longer than our scheduled time slot. We will likely stay here again the next time we are in the Rochester area.
I decided to stay here while on a fishing trip to Lake Ontario, and I’m very glad I did. The hotel staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating. They had no problem providing extra pillows and even brought out breakfast earlier then usual to accommodate our early rise. The hotel as well as the rooms were very clean, and are updated with a peaceful contemporary styling. The bed was so comfortable that I had to look under the sheets to see what kind of mattress they had on there, because it was honestly way more comfortable then my sleep number at home. I had a great nights sleep with nice cool air conditioning. But not before relaxing in the hot tub and pool area. I was tempted to work out in the gym, but opted for the hot tub instead. The bathrooms in the room were spectacular! Tons of crisp, white, clean towels, and also extremely neat and clean. I literally took pictures for reference when I eventually remodel my own bathroom. Now I’m a total shower snob, and I was not let down with the with the water pressure and the quality of the adjustable shower head. Extremely good shower! I honestly can’t enough good things about this hotel and the staff. I cannot wait to stay here next year, and I will be sure to stay a few extra days now that I know how comfortable I felt being there.
My family of five enjoyed our stay in a suite. The pull-out bed was clean and blankets were readily available (at other hotels this is not always the case). The entire room was clean and the decor gave it a great atmosphere. We enjoyed the pool and the walking path behind the hotle was also a great addition. We bought a frisbee and played frisbee golf. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly and accomodating in the breakfast area. I highly recommend this location.
This hotel is hiding behind COVID as an excuse to reduce breakfast cost. The breakfast staff on Saturday morning seemed to be the same person as front desk attendant because I had to wait for the single person both times I approached the front desk. The breakfast options are super minimal and cheap. They are behind reflective glass so you can’t see what to ask for. No menu or signage, if you didn’t ask the front desk attendant about breakfast there was no other indication it is available. The attendant was not thrilled about telling me the list of options. She had obviously been telling every single persons 2-3 times and was sick of it. I still don’t know what kind of pastries were in that bowl. Drinks were stored in the “other room”, had to blindly ask “ do you have apple juice..etc”. It was not offered.
My family and I needed a place to stay while our apartment was being prepared for us to move in. We came across this hotel on the IHG website and I absolutely think this is the best choice we could have made. The hotel is very clean and the staff were great. We were also able to enjoy the pool area! The hotel is also doing an amazing job at following CDC Guidelines for social distancing. I definitely would recommend this property. Also the location was fantastic there is even a pond/park behind it.
I stayed here before and travel to Webster alot for Work to service Keurig Dr Pepper. Does this place think its the Ritz Carlton? Corporate rate of $169.00 + tax i am a IHG reward member also. Hampton down the road will be getting our company business from now on.99.32 a night better rooms anyway
This hotel was amazing! We had called ahead regarding an allergy to common bedding (down fluff) and the receptionist was great. When we arrived, the roomthey had guaranteed to accommodate us was only a king size bed. Not enough for two adults and 2 teens. So they put us in another room, no problem! Rooms were clean, customer service was great. Breakfast was very good. So glad we stayed there!
The hotel location is perfect for the title ! Situation close to the North Pond and park, it gives a very positive energy and feel during the stay. I stayed here 3 times and all the time stayed there for more than a month. It started feeling like my second home ! Staff is excellent and friendly. Room is spacious, clean and well maintained (caution ! you wont get a complementary drinking water bottle !). Break-fast is served with a fixed menu and usually with typical western menu, and perhaps that is the only concern I have so far !Over all good place to stay, well connected, and you get a complementary shuttle service - which is a very good option !
This was one of the best hotels I stayed in. The staff was super friendly and eager to help. The rooms were clean and they seem to have gone above most other hotel by sanatizing high traffic areas (remote controls, etc.). Also breakfast was a plus (passed out by staff with gloves).
I thought that the hotel was definitely very nice the staff was extremely pleasant the rooms were for the most part pretty clean I think there could be some improvements made but it’s minimal I think the price for Veterans I think should be lower than AAA other than that I’ll stay there again
Came to Webster from Canada to see the Senior PGA at Oak Hills. Our stay was exceptional. Hotel easy to find and access. Lots of parking. Check in was effortless, staff were very courteous, professional, and very accommodating. Actually the staff may have been the nicest I have dealt with at the numerous Holiday Inns I have stayed at. Hotel was within walking distance of restaurants, very handy. Room was clean and very very quiet. Slept very well. Breakfast was great and we really appreciated them having some of the breakfast ready for us at 5 am to accommodate our early departure. Check out was a smooth transaction. I usually am very easy to please, and staying here again next year will be a sure thing.
Having been a member of the holiday Inn awards program for about 30 years I was vert happy with our two week stay. I understand the lack of breakfast, but that should be noted on your website! We were informed on our arrival that due to the length of our stay we were entitled to two cleanings a week. However, we were not informed that we could not get our room cleaned on a Saturday.
The rooms are remodeled and look great. The hotel and room was clean and comfortable. My kids used the pool and were happy about that. The breakfast the next morning was only okay. Minimal choices only omelets and sausage. The orange juice was gone and apple juice tasted like water with an apple splash. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel.
My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay. We had a suite that included the jacuzzi (fits two people weighing 250 lbs each) Everything was cleaned to perfection upon arrival and there were plenty of fresh towels. Heat worked great in the room as well. We were not pleased with the hot breakfast because choices were minimal, also the bed was to firm for our liking. Overall we had a great time and will be back again after they finish their renovations.
Overall this was a very nice place to stay. My biggest issues are the lighting in the bathroom - unbelievably BRIGHT! Some people my like this but wow way too bright and no way to dim he lights. Also the ceiling plate was missing around the sprinkler head in the bathroom (Room 208) and while it is admirable to work towards saving the environment with less laundry etc, whats with the single serve Keurig coffee machines. There are much better environmental machines out there that use compostable bags instead of plastic.
My stay at the Holiday Inn Express @ Webster was great! The people in charge of making it great was the front desk staff. The ladies were super friendly, were willing to help us with anything and even gave me a birthday cake since my birthday was on my check-out day. For me that adds a lot of value in how the staff treats the guests. Amazing! I had a very good time in the hotel and the pillows are just HEAVEN.
Spotless room, got a suite with 2 beds and the room was very spacious and a great value, especially for our family of 4--2 are kids ages 15 and 19--so really 4 adults. The parking lot and sidewalks were kept shoveled and salted during our stay--which says a lot for upstate NY winter. All staff was very friendly and nice --from check in , to a housekeeping staff member in elevator, to staff monitoring breakfast room. Breakfast was very nice and well stocked. Would totally stay again. This was our second visit to this hotel and it will not be the last.
The lounge area where breakfast was served was quite nice. We were offered fresh coffee upon request the evening we arrived which was above and beyond. The room was clean and spacious. The pool area was not as clean as I would lhave liked. There was a birthday party there earlier and staff had not had much time to clean. The pool was also completed out of towels, which were too small by the way. I am a petite woman and could barely dry off. Overall nice hotel
Dont break down on the Highway after booking online!! Within 2 hours of making the reservation, I had to change to a different Holiday Inn close to where i broke down, and then i had to pay for both rooms. Apparently they have a 24hr cancelation fee, but this was made 2 hours before arriving at the hotel. Sorry, very good chain hotel but myself and my fellow co-workers will not be using Holiday inns in the future.
We stayed in this location for the weekend as a family of four for a soccer tournament. The grounds were clean and inviting. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The pool and hot tube were great amenities as well. Breakfast opened lasted on the weekend which was a bummer as we had very early games but we grabbed some to go (the pancake maker was broken so the kids were disappointed). Will stay here again next year.
The staff was great at the hotel. They were very helpful before we arrived and after we arrived. The staff was very polite and professional. They were knowledgeable when we asked questions and always responded in a timely manner as promised. Appreciative of their assistance. Enjoyed being able to walk around the property for exercise.
Staff is always friendly and the breakfast options are very good for a “free” hotel breakfast. For business or leisure it is best hotel in Webster area. I been there during the March - May time frame , it was the worse time due to the COVID-19 pandemic, even that time also hotel staff was so delighting. I was happy how the hotel management is handling the customers. Hotel took so many precaution to avoid the spread due to close contacts, initially I felt bad for cutting down the amenities, then realized that the hotel management has taken the best approach in the very beginning to save the customers from global pandemic. Front desk was so friendly to answer your queries. So happy for the services.
We had a great stay while visiting Webster. The hotel is very convenient to the nursing home where my mother is staying. We arrived early but the desk clerk was able to arrange a nice large room with a comfortable king sized bed. I was impressed by the lovely flowers at the check in desk. We were able to sleep in since the room was dark enough. There seemed to be a lot of teenagers in the hotel but all was quiet in our room. We didnt get a chance to use the pool of the other amenities but we did have a nice breakfast and the person cleaning the dining room even heated up some omelets and made sure we had coffee, juice and muffins when we arrived 15 minutes late for breakfast one day. I will surely stay here again and recommend it highly.
The breakfast was wonderful. Hard to believe that in addition to bacon, turkey sausage was provided. Selection included cold cereals as well as juices and hot coffee. A lot of local construction employees use this hotel and it can get quite crowded and noisy around 5:30pm when the hotel has free beer and wine. The new pillows are nice and room is well maintained. Loved having a Keurig, microwave, and refrigerator. Mattresses unfortunately are well worn as evidenced by the large crater in the middle (well hidden by the taught covers!)Staff is friendly and accommodating with requests. Internet worked great.
The Webster Holiday Inn Express has a superb location right next to a running trail and near local shopping and coffee shopes. The staff here is wonderful; they are welcoming, solve problems (I had none this stay, but they fixed an issue on another trip extremely promptly), knowledgeable and friendly. This is top notch place to land, whether for a few days or much longer. Rooms are very clean and the in-room fridge and microwave are great to have.
One of the best stays we had anywhere. Loved the simple design and openness of the hotel. The staff greeted us every time we passed the front desk. The room was a simple clean layout with all the functionality needed. I loved the desk light so much I went online and bought one for my home.
I really want to commend Jill and Lisa at the front desk. I was the early person in the room across from the front desk and I could hear their cheery greetings to everyone coming into and leaving the hotel; guests, maintenance people, housekeepers, everyone was greeted with smiles (including me). It really started my day with happiness! Thank you so much, ladies!
All staff good. Some staff absolutely exceptional ... Thursday night check-in, Friday breakfast crew, some of room prep crew. Beds & pillows very comfortable. Fresh pleasant modern decor. Plenty of well chosen, well placed lighting. Ample well- placed electrical outlets.
The Rooms were cleaned whether you have asked or not. The supplies were replenished. Felt really comfortable. Twin beds were helpful to accommodate a extra visiting person. The shuttle service was great especially Mr.Bob was smiling and took me to office every day. The front office was very quick and attentive for any requests including the late checkout arrangement .The pool and Gym were very well maintained. Felt overall its a home away home. Inside the room, the lighting could have been more brighter and the Air conditioner could have had a complete switch off option when not required. The breakfast options are very limited, but its value for money. Overall it was a fantastic stay and i would love to see the staff again. Cheers..
We were looking for some peace and quite and no interruptions. From the moment we arrived the staff was friendly. The guests were friendly too. Our suite was amazing with a king size bed, sitting area with whirlpool tub, kitchenette, and full bathroom. We slept like babies and enjoyed the hotel features as the inside heated pool and jacuzzi. The breakfast buffet had great variety and it was good. We experienced what we were looking for. Highly recommended.
Great Hotel. Nice, quiet and clean. Staff very friendly. The room was very clean. The breakfast was good and there was a large variety of food to choose from. I didnt hear any noise from other guests during my stay because the walls were nice and thick. There is a nice large gym and a nice pool. There is also a patio section outside with a fire pit and lawn chairs. Nice location, close to shopping area and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.
Our room was great. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean and spacious. The staff at the hotel was wonderful. We interacted with the front desk staff, the cleaning staff, and the breakfast staff and everyone was friendly and helpful. One of the best stays I have had.
Front desk staff was a little unpleasant at check in. After that no issues. Breakfast was great. The eggs and cinnamon rolls get AAA . The night desk lady was super cool. Chlorine in pool really strong. Took 3 days to wash smell out of my hair, but we had a lot of fun. They had a birthday party or something above us. We could hear the kids running around but they stopped at a reasonable hour. Otherwise it was really quiet.
The room was very comfortable. My only problem was the new window covering. Due to my stupidity and not wanting to be a bother, I did not know there was a shade to block out the night security lights. I now realize I could have called the desk to have someone come and show me. Again, my own fault.
I stay in Holiday Inns all over the country and this one at least 6-10 times per year. It is always clean and recently they are updating everything from the common area to the fitness center/pool to the rooms. This is one of the best facilities I have been to. Many people comment on choices at breakfast etc however for most Holiday Inns this is pretty standard. Some have commented about the price per night but this facility is competitive to the other brands n Webster. Sometimes it is noisy as they have large groups, but that is on the inconsideration of the guests. When I have complained about noise they have done their best to relocate me or speak to the offenders.I stay here as the staff is wonderful. They are always accommodating and will go out of their way to make your stay the best if you ask.
We came from Syracuse to spend the weekend and let our kids swim. I understand guidelines due to covid but they way that they allow people to sign up for the pool isn’t fair at all!! No openings other than 8am for 50 mins. They should allow people to only book certain slots and make it fair for everyone. We have a special needs son who was really looking forward to swimming (it’s his favorite). Very upset! I never normally complain but this was very upsetting to see how they allowed people to sign up for whatever they wanted.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was very comfortable and modernized. I would stay here again. Only complaint was alarm clock was set incorrectly as it was 12 hours off. Breakfast was so-so as with NY States rules on Covid, they could not serve a hot breakfast. I only received a bagged breakfast, but this was not the fault of the Hotel.
Spent five days in the local area on business and had an excellent stay. I walked in after a sixteen hour day of travel and was greeted by the wonderful Mary at the counter on Sunday evening SEPT 22nd great stay until check out on Friday 27Sep. Room was excellent and the breakfast was always hot and dining area very clean. Thank you for a very pleasant stay and I will be recommending your hotel to my friends and co workers.
The room was very nice. Cable and wifi worked with no issues. Refrigerator in room with small freezer compartment. Microwave in room. Coffee maker is a Keurig so you can bring your coffee from home. Everything was great. Hotel staff were knowledgeable of local area. There are many parks nearby with a lot of Lake Ontario shoreline. There is a non Lake Ontario park immediately behind the hotel with 2 ponds holding bass and sunfish.
I enjoyed my stay. The staff was quick to address issues and was helpful. The gym was being renovated and was not completely accessible. My key cards stopped working repeatedly. The breakfast was great. The rooms were clean and neat. The wifi worked well. I would stay again. The price was a good value
Everything about your hotel is great. We especially enjoyed meeting and chatting with hotel staff and other guests in your lounge/breakfast area. We met some very nice people. Bob and Jill were working while we were there and were very friendly and engaging. The ladies who took care of our room were thoughtful and accommodating as well.
I recommend this hotel. This year we had an excellent experience, though we didnt last year. This year the room was just great, as was the service. My family really enjoyed the pool, and I was satisfied with the breakfast. Everything was clean and well-organized. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved the location -- near my family and had nice green space.
We stayed two nights for the Thanksgiving holiday. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room, and the comfort of the bed. I have some minor back and hip pain and was able to get two good nights of sleep - to the point I want to purchase the kind of mattress the hotel used. The hot breakfast was varied and the dining room was comfortable and clean. The staff was courteous and gave prompt service. As this hotel is so great, and so close to family, I will definitely stay here when I come to Webster, NY again.
Stayed just one night. We were pretty satisfied. Everything in and around seemed clean and well-maintained. Room was up-to-date and clean. The fitness center is pretty decent for a Holiday Inn Express, and the pool as well. Breakfast was the usual Holiday Inn Express stuff, by which I mean it was pretty good for a free breakfast at an affordable hotel. It was what seemed like a pretty busy Saturday morning, but there was no shortage of space for people and they werent running out of food or anything like that.Only issue we had was that they seemed a bit under-staffed for a Friday night. The parking lot was pretty full, so I can see why theyd have staffing issues, but then again if its that busy youd think they would augment the staff. So anyway, we waited around for quite a bit when we arrived at around 9pm, and there was nobody at the front desk. We got checked in fine when someone showed up, but when we went back down to ask for an extra pillow, again -- nobody at the front desk.
I was pleasantly surprised with property here when I first arrived. The property looks pretty new and is well maintained. Upon entering the lobby you could tell right away that this place was very clean. I was immediately greeted by the front desk and was checked in. I made a quick stop in the wash room down the hall and was very impressed about how clean the public bathroom was.I also got a peak of the fitness room which was one of the more nicer fitness rooms I have see. There was a lot of equipment, TVs and more importantly were the floor to ceiling windows that looked out upon a nice park full of greenery. The indoor pool too was very nice with the same view and everything was well maintained and clean.Upon entering my room, I found it too was well appointed and very clean, equipped with a microwave and mini-fridge.My bed was most comfortable with the proper amount of firmness that permitted me to have a very nice night of sleep.I would definitely come back to this hotel when traveling to the greater Rochester area.
I was impressed with the clean room. Very pleasantly surprised to experience good sleep on a great bed with good pillows! The breakfast that was served had a large selection of choices and was very good. Wouldve liked coffee made available in the afternoons though. Overall it was a very pleasant experience, and the next time we come to the Rochester area we will be staying there.
Good hotel to stay at. Friendly staff. The pool and spa was great. Although the walls and ceiling in the pool area needs to be cleaned up. The drainage system is to far from the pool and spa so the floor is constantly soaked. Not enough towels. The room was nice and clean. Comfortable bed. The breakfast area was slacking.. more staff is needed in this area, not enough food out and took a long time to get more food out to the guests. Overall, my family and I had a good time. Good hotel to stay at.
Arrived during a power outage- luckily the hotel still had half power so we had the essentials- heat, lights and hot water. Staff did a great job considering the trying circumstances and were always friendly and helpful. They even managed to provide a hot breakfast (cooking by the light of battery operated lanterns!). Clean, with modern decor (though starting to show just a little wear and tear in places. Did not use pool or fitness center but they looked very nice with top quality equipment. King room was spacious and comfortable.
Very impressed by this hotel. Gorgeous inside and outside. Our room was spotless and the beds were extremely comfortable. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Lovely patio area overlooking an adjacent park with walking trails and a large pond. Very easy to get to just off Route 104. Lots of cable TV channels and a nice big flatscreen. WiFi was strong and dependable. Clean refrigerator with lots of room. Although were Tim Hortons addicts, we did use the in-room Keurig to make our wake-up coffee, which wasnt bad at all. Hard to find anything critical to say. Wish we could have stayed another night!
We came as part of a group for a team event and the staff were very courteous and attentive. I would rate this in my top five hotel experiences. The room was spacious and beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of toiletries and towels. The hotel was close to shopping, grocery and restaurants and easy access to highways. The complimentary breakfast was well stocked and offered quite a few choices. The grounds were well maintained and the interior lobby kept very clean.
We stayed at the hotel after attending a wedding in Rochester. We had such a nice stay! The staff was very nice and very accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was very good. I would recommend this hotel to anybody. As a bonus there was a nice trail behind the hotel that went along side a beautiful pond. Great place!
We went there for a wedding. The ballroom was set up for us ready to go. The staff was friendly and stuck around for whatever needs we had. We checked into our room upstairs. Very very very clean. The kids went to the swimming pool and had an absolute ball. The hot tub was nice and warm. The room quality was secondary to none. The jacuzzi actually worked flawlessly. The breakfast in the morning didnt even want to go to a diner so much selection. Even the kids were over the moon with what they got to eat. I will be staying here again and I do love those. I would highly recommend
Had a fine time as usual. Wonderful to walk in and find a welcoming staff and fresh flowers in the lobby. Room was clean and beds are very comfortable including the choice and amount of pillows I usually bring my own but, since staying here previously, I use the hotels. The room is nice and dark and temperature is adjustable.Wish rewards program was easier to understand on line. I started to ask for more info at check in but got distracted. A video on the web site would be helpful. I signed up but really couldnt find out how it works or what it does.
Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable, particularly because of the hotel staff who went out of their way to accommodate our room requests and to make us comfortable. The facility itself is excellent, especially with the breakfast room offering excellent quality and quantity of items, with a very attentive staff. We also found this area a great place to gather with our extended family members later in the day. All the other amenities and the spacious, well-appointed rooms make this a great place to stay.
I was at this hotel for a short vacation, meeting up with family members in the area. My overall stay was excellent. The room was good and clean, the bed was freshly made when I got there. There was nothing wrong with the bathroom, as it was stocked and clean. The kitchen area in the suite, that I had, was clean and ready to go for me. The only downside I had was the internet. They could have informed guest that they would be working on their Wi-Fi system, because I like to write so I have a computer I use. The internet, halfway through my stay, went out. I go downstairs to find out that theyre upgrading their system, and I had to have a new code for the Wi-Fi. So all I have to say is that they need to inform the guests if theyre making little changes throughout the hotel while youre there, especially if they cater to business people who need the Internet.
The staff here were great and many of the amenities are quite nice. The pool and fitness center are great. There is a grill for guest use and a gas fire table on the back patio, with the lovely North Ponds Park right behind the hotel. Most aspects of the hotel are standard Holiday Inn Express. Comfortable, clean beds. Decent bathrooms. Nice enough breakfast. However the decor is dark and outdated. The heat/ac units inn the room are odd in that they automatically switch between heat and air depending on temp. Leads to it frequently being too much of one or the other. The televisions in the rooms are fairly small and older, but fine. The wifi is slow (5mb/s down generally) and I usually couldnt get a full bar signal in my room. However they do also offer Ethernet connections in the rooms. I had some issues with the cable staying connected, and the speed was no better via ethernet.
Upon checking in the staff was kind and informative. I was upgraded to a conjoining room because i was with 5 little girls which was awesome! I had my peace and quiet yet still could keep an eye on my children. Sleep was great and breakfast was fantastic! I will definitely be returning to this hotel and recommending this to friends.
This was one of my best HIE experiences. My room was quiet, I didnt hear anyone else on the floor or rooms on either side of me. The bed, linens, and pillows were extremely comfortable--I love the large pillows. The bathroom was super clean and new with a great portable shower head--I didnt want to get out. Check in/out was super fast and easy.
We have stayed here before and chose to stay here again because it is clean, comfortable and convenient. Beds and pillows are great. Room darkening drapes are great. Hotel is very quiet. Air conditioning in our room was a little noisy. If you plan to have breakfast get there well before 9:30. Although there were plenty of eggs and sausage at 9:15, they were dried out and everything but coffee and juice was promptly cleaned up starting exactly at 9:30. Cant blame them. It was our fault for sleeping in.
Everything was beyond nice from cleanliness to the staff accommodating. I initially booked a suite online and th staff called me early morning to tell me they had no more that night so she gave me two room with two queen beds in each joint for the price of 1 room and it was even better than the suite. They staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and smelt fresh! I will definitely be going back here.
At check-in we met the lovely Brystol. Brystol was charming and engaging and made us feel very welcome. When we approached her after our trip to the pool about issues with the pool cleanliness (see later in the post and photos), she was very pleasant and apologetic, took interest in our concerns and made note of the problem to share with management. As a newly renovated hotel, the rooms were nice enough. The suite has a small table with two chairs, a pull-out couch, the two beds, an nice wardrobe and dresser, tv, and an additional seating area with a chaise lounge and a chair and foot stool. I found the bed to be a little more firm than I enjoy, so sleeping was a little challenging for me. The bathroom is nice and clean with large sized shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower so youre not dealing with the tiny bottles and it reduces waste which is nice. The lobby and cafe area are nicely decorated and modern looking. We enjoyed seats near the fireplace in the morning and breakfast offered a good variety though the cinnamon rolls and bagels were stale and hard. The scrambled eggs, egg white omelette and sausage options were hot and fresh. The biggest problem with our stay was the pool. See the attached photos. The water was not green, that was the lighting and time of day, but it was murky almost skim milk colored. You can see the stairs but not the bottom of the pool. You can feel dirt or something on the bottom of the pool, but again, you cant see the bottom of this 3-5 pool. The tiles surrounding the edge of the pool as you can see in the photo are coated in a disgusting film of dirt. (I called this human sludge - body oils, hair care products, lotions, and dirt). In the morning at check-out we brought up the pool with the manager. I showed her the photos and she seemed more defensive than concerned. She said the maintenance people are in there everyday and her solution was to offer me additional points to my account. I wasnt looking for a free room, points or any other reward. The pool is a disgrace to the hotel and possibly a health risk.
This hotel is a gem. The location is great. It is easy on/off of the highway. Also, it backs up to a wonderful park. Great view, walking/running path and fitness run.The hotel itself has a cozy back patio, including a grill available for use.The staff we encountered were great. We arrived later than expected and the staff opened the hot tub for a short period of time for us so we could relax. The room was also great. Very spacious. The only recommendation I would have is to get a larger refrigerator. The space accommodated a medium size (dorm size) frig but there was a tiny one there.
This was our first time staying at this hotel. We were really impressed with the cleanliness and space in our room. The staff was pleasant and courteous and the service was excellent! We were very pleased with the breakfast choices as they offered a variety of options - such as gluten free and greek yogurt - that we have not seen at other hotels. The pool and hot tub were very clean. Good location too! We have already booked another stay at this hotel.
I booked into this hotel because I was attending my 50th high school reunion. Very nice hotel in every way. Lovely little pool for relaxing. Good breakfast selection included eggs. However, only anomaly was that biscuits and cream gravy werent served with each other but that was very small anomaly. The hotel includes a little general store to purchase not only snacks but pain killers, one of which we needed during our stay. Clean room, spacious dining facility. Located close to shopping and a grocery store. Would stay here again!
Came here with my wife and 4 year old son for a family reunion. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of choices. The pool was big enough to accommodate everyone there. The staff were all extremely kind . The girl at the front desk even gave my son a stuffed toy. So sweet.
First with everything going on I wish i felt they were actually cleaning they suppose to i brought my own disinfectant wipes and spray to clean. There was pills in our room in a bag and on the table so i dont believe the room was cleaned we just need it for the night so we cleaned up and left out in the morning n brought it down to the staff and let them know
Great room, great check in process, felt they were doing a great job with the Covid-19 requirements. Perhaps they could use a sticker on their doors after they are cleaned so you know no one has been in the room since it was cleaned. I would definitely be back and recommend this Holiday Inn Express in Webster, NY.
I feel that the hotel has not used their time wisely to fix things that need repair. The one room we had the electric on the headboard was completely missing. My husband uses a C-Pap machine and had no where to plug it in, so he had to switch sides of the bed which should never have to be, also we wanted to watch movie that evening and the TV had no picture, it had sound and no picture. Te room smelled like a wet dog or wet carpet and nothing was done to remove the smell and they didnt even offer to change our room.
Came to Rochester area for My daughters wedding reception, her husbands family lives in the area, The wedding was in Jamaica but the reception was in Rochester. We came from the Philadelphia area for the reception Your staff were very friendly from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, the beds very comfortable. We spent time in the pool and the hot tub which were both very nice. The great room with the fireplace was comfortable and nicely decorated for Christmas. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very attentive. I liked that you needed a card key to get in the doors, felt very safe. All in all a very nice experience I would recommend.
While the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, there was no effort to make the guests maintain social distancing or wear masks.Several times I came to the lobby, and there were several guests joking with each other, and none of them wore masks. I mentioned this to the desk clerk and she said that there was nothing she could do about it.I doubt if I would stay here again
This hotel was an outstanding choice for either business or pleasure. My husband stayed at the hotel to work while I was at a music camp during the day. The hotel is situated next to a nice walking/fitness trail and also had indoor facilities. There was a mall right down the road with various eating places, Dunkin Donuts across the street and access to a major road so that travel was quick and easy. Staff were friendly and accommodating and breakfast was fabulous! The only complaint I might have had was that the pool was murky but the spa was great. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable with refrigerators and microwaves in each room. The ironing board/iron came in handy but I was glad that I had brought my own hair dryer--about the only complaint in the bathroom was the lack of a fan to clear the mirror.
We had a small family reunion at your property and were extremely impressed with the hotel and amenities. The lobby and breakfast area are both inviting and upscale. Your staff is great. We especially were impressed with the young gentleman who checked us in and then enrolled us in your Rewards program when we departed. Unfortunately we did not get his name but we checked out on Sunday, September 22nd. Were so impressed that we plan to change our hotel preference in the future.
What a completely relaxed feeling to know our place was ready for the stay. We booked two consecutive nights for the convenience and amenities, and previously stayed at that location. The efforts of the staff truly enhanced the vacation experience although it was a trip for an important meeting. We look forward to a return to this prime hotel
Was not aware that the hotel was under full renovation at time of booking or I would have scoffed at the high price for a room in this location. When I got there and asked about it I was treated as if I needed some advice on how to notice when a property is under construction. When I got to the room, I saw just WHY the place was under construction. The place was old and stale. Room was fairly clean, bathroom was not as much. Because it was late and I had an early flight I had to just get past it. The TV was a joke. Little larger than a computer monitor. The bed was clunky and the pillows were stiff. The shining star was the water pressure. Over all, I am sure the place will be very nice when completed, but for this visit, because I was treated a bit rudely and the high price I will keep the score low.
The room was clean and the staff friendly when we arrived. The pool area was very unkempt and had only one clean towel to use for our family of four. No one seemed to be monitoring this area. The fire pit area was very small and one large group had overtaken the whole area so we were unable to use it. The breakfast in the morning was average. I had a major issue once we left. We paid cash at checkout and were told the charge on our account would be taken off the next day due to it being a weekend. By Tuesday it was still there and I was being charged overdraft fees. When I called to ask the hotel to release the charge, the girl who answered the phone was very rude and cut me off to say it would take at least 3-5 business days for the charge to be removed. I explained that was not what I was told and was then placed on hold. Lindsay, who I am assuming is a manager there, was very pleasant and promptly called my bank to release the charge. Overall, I wouldn’t say I was wowed, but I would use Holiday Inn Express again.
I have stayed at this facility many times over the past 5 years for a Quilt Retreat. Overall the service, comfort have been great.Just a suggestion that the breakfast menu though very good could use a change in variety offered. The staff are wonderful. Courteous, helpful and pleasant.I like the convenience of nearby shopping and eating sites.Fresh pitchers of water would have been replenished more frequently.I love walking the pond area. The sunrise was spectacular!
My husband, 8 year old Granddaughter and I recently stayed at this facility when the first hotel we attempted to book did not have availability. What a stroke of luck! The facility is clean and well maintained. It is located right off of 104 so getting around was easy. The walking path behind the hotel was great and when the weather was bad, there was a nice gym and a huge indoor pool. The staff was pleasant, professional and very helpful. This is now our new first choice when we come to the Rochester area.
I booked the conference suite with attached king size bedroom for my daughters 6th birthday party. I must say from start to finish the booking agent that booked the party down to the manager at this hotel that was working the Evening of my daughters party was very professional and accommodating. I was very thrilled about the breakfast buffet choice that the hotel provided. They had turkey meat product which I thought was great. My family are non pork eaters. This is the first hotel that weve visited that offered that type of breakfast selection.
The service was so memorable! Everyone we came in contact with asked us how we were doing, if we needed anything, how our stay was going etc.Starting at check in we were greeted with a smile, thanking us for being reward members, and given all the info we needed. The next morning at breakfast the lady working was wonderful! So helpful and engaging with everyone, making conversation, asking us what we needed, etc. we are pretty self sufficient and can figure things out so we would have done just as well without her, but she added such a nice, welcoming touch to the morning. Then room service was wonderful. She went out of her way and did such nice little touches to help us out. We had our two kids with us, who are apparently very messy, and she put our growing pile of dirty clothes in a seperate plastic bag, arranged some of our toiletries (that were everywhere), among other things. It was just nice little memorable touches that I noticed and appreciated!
Always find these properties to be very nice and clean. I was a little frustrated as we requested a late check out (1 hour) but someone was knocking on our door at 11:05? Not a huge deal. The breakfast is okay and good for kids, decent selection just fairly low quality. Overall this is a very nice property with clean rooms and friendly staff.
As a travel agent, I am often asked what hotel chain I frequently stay in. This was my first Holiday Inn Express and if the Webster, NY hotel is any indication of this brand, I would recommend. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Wifi was free. Breakfast was included. The shower had good pressure. We used the pool and the water temperature was pleasant. My only negative was that there didnt seem to be a presence of staff during breakfast to make sure that offerings were plentiful and refilled. I did not have the scrambled eggs or sausage gravy with biscuits that were offered. Oatmeal was instant using hot water from the coffee machine tap. I have family in the Webster area and will be back for my next visit.
I love Holiday Inn Express and Suites. I love the ease of getting a room and the comfort once in the room. However, there seems to be a dust issue at each one I have stayed at. Its not much, but can build if not taken care of. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. This room however was a little short on wall plugs for my many devices...lol. I would love to come again and stay a while!
We stayed this past Sept. for the weekend at the Holiday Inn Express, Webster and were very pleased! It was a fantastic space and we enjoyed the pool, the outdoor areas including the walking/running path around the small lake adjacent to the property, and the clean, comfortable rooms. And most importantly, the staff really went out of their way to be accommodating. From restaurant recommendations to figuring out an error (on my part) when booking the room that resulted in an inflated rate than what was expected, and adjusting it... and taking the time to do this when he did not have to (he had already given me the number for corporate so I could resolve at a later date.) The fact that the gentleman who checked us in took the time to look into it and to call me and let me know that it was taken care of was one less thing for me to have on my to do list. And provided more time to focus on what was important, like spending time with our family for our beautiful cousins wedding. :) Thanks for a great stay!!! :):):)
I recently stayed with my 2 children and this hotel exceeded our expectations. Every staff member that we encountered were friendly, and eager help. The room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. We loved the free breakfast each morning and took full advantage of the large exercise room pool.
We stayed a week here while visiting family. Our stay was nice, room clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed the adjoining park with ponds and walking trail. My only complaint is that the housekeeping staff did not always get our room cleaned in a timely manner; had to wait until early afternoon a few days even though we were always out of the room between 9am-10am. My only suggestions would be to put small safes in the rooms rather than having to keep going to front desk to access safe box and to keep breakfast bar open until 10am for those who are not early risers.
My family came from various counties/ states to say goodbye to my mother on 8/31. For 4days/3 nights the holiday inn went over and beyond the call of duty to meet the needs of our large group. The front desk was overly pleasant at all hours of the day/night. There were times we’d over stepped our boundaries however the staff remained friendly and nice. They met our needs and provided good service. I’m sure it was not easy for the staff to accommodate the stay of 7 large family group but they did, and they did it very well. Thank you Holiday Inn for being there for my family during the lost of our love one.
Nice hotel location, grocery store and food places close by. Plenty of parking. I think that we should be getting more points per stay due to the fact that we are not having our rooms serviced during our stays. I think Spire Elite should have a few parking spaces set aside for them.
Upon entering the greeting was warm and friendly. Room was clean, bathroom was bright and clean. Service staff was friendly and sociable. Breakfast was enjoyable, coffee was great, best Ive tasted in a hotel in years, including other Holiday Inns. Choice of breakfast entrees were very well displayed. Maybe a lunch or dinner offering might be considered. Upon leaving ( 4am) there was no one to give me a bill, which needs to be corrected. All total a pleasure
The most crazy thing happened while bringing our daughter out to Rochester for her 9th birthday to go to The Museum of Play our car broke down and we had to catch an uber to the museum but more importantly there was a caucasian woman in the parking lot of the hotel that we didnt know who was not so nice with her exchange of words with my husband as we passed to go to our car. We were VERY OFFENDED and couldnt believe what we heard i wont say what she said here but just know those words were very selective to the color of our skin! We were outraged!

2022-01-30Spent 1 Saturday night with the kids (12y, 8y, 4y) as a surprise and we had the best time. From the first phone call to make the reservation was beyond pleasant and informative, very nice woman (I think was the day manager?) When we arrived the Front Desk staff were busy with a large party Check In (High School sports team?) but not frazzled or overwhelmed and were friendly to everyone, including us after that long wait in line. We asked for a late check out the next morning so the kids had more swim time and it wasnt a problem. The building and room was clean. The refrigerator in our room was great kept all our food and beverages nice and cold! Most mini fridges are subpart. Breakfast was fresh and hot, kids loved it. The pool was nice, the hot tub was a bit too hot for the kids. At one point we had the pool to ourselves, I would have liked to have had a skimmer to use, but it is a public pool! Everything was overall a good time.I would have given 5 Stars ⭐But there was an incident with the Fire Alarm. It went off about 9pm (we later found out the cause was the heat and steam from the pool area that sounded the alarm)But there was a bit of chaos with all the guests spilling into the hallways frightened. There was no overhead announcement for direction on where to go or gather from Hotel staff or Fire Department to restore calmness. Even when many know what to do or where to go during a Fire Alarm... To proceed to an Exit, down the stairs and outside, but when panic ensues thats when things can go from bad to worse quickly with a stairwell full of scared people scrambling to get out.All turned out OK, obviously, however an announcement for Direction and finally an All Clear would have been appreciated for my family and all the Hotel guests.

2022-06-04Keep in mind that I work in construction. Since I got back from work yesterday 6/3 around 8pm, there has been no hot water. The water is icy cold. The front desk didn’t inform anyone about the issue. I went to the front desk around 10pm to ask and they said “someone has been fixing it for about 2 1/2 hr”.8:36am 6/4 and there’s still no hot water. I went back to the front desk this morning, now they’re saying “someone is on their way to fix it”. Thought someone was here yesterday to fix it? One would expect hot water 24/7 especially if you’re paying almost $200/ night on weekends. I had to cancel the remaining days of my reservation and find another hotel.

2022-03-26This is ridiculous, they said they are still on covid restrictions. Where was that said or told?. Never mentioned that. Cant get clean towels or have bed made. We have to make the beds ourselves!. Go downstairs for our towels!. Go hunt garbage bags for the trash cans. All because cleaning ppl wont come in after we check out!. Cut the price diwn if we have to do this all ourselves! Will rent airbnb next time. Not to mention our key kept getting deactivated every day even if we paid for 4 days!

2022-02-13Staff is welcoming and helpful. Rooms and areas are mostly clean. Giving a 3 star because the pool are is absolutely filthy and its clear by the moldy tiles and stuck gunk that it hasnt been cleaned in a long time. Ihorrible for an area where my kids are barefoot.

2021-05-05Ive stayed here a few times so far. All work related trips. Ive found that this hotel and the general area are plenty peaceful for getting good rest after work. Its kept very clean. All of the staff that Ive interacted with have been very friendly, very kind, and very patient. The pool is available for a good stretch of hours, its very well kept, the only bummer is that the spa appears to be out of service and has been for over a month. The fitness center has plenty of equipment for all kinds of exercise and its kept very clean. Theres a nice outdoor patio and a gazebo by the fountain for relaxing outdoors. The rooms themselves are nice and spacious. Beds are plenty comfortable. If you work overnight and sleep during the day like me, the shades are great, they wont let you down. The location is conveniently located right across the road from a gas station and a dunkin donuts. And if you drive no more that two minutes down the road (crossing under route 104), theres a wegmans and a bunch of other stores in case you need to buy food/forgot an essential.

2021-11-28I was very happy with our stay. Everything was clean and in good repair. Breakfast was nice to have on hand so we didn’t have to go out and get anything. We will definitely be staying at this property again when we come back to visit family and friends

2021-08-18My husband and I spent five nights here and found the hotel comfortable and welcoming. Both our room and the public areas were very clean. Staff all wore masks and were pleasant and helpful. I appreciated the good quality bedding and mattress as well as the blackout shades in the room. The hotel was generally quiet at night and the environment was conducive to restful sleep (and Im a little picky about these things). I liked the access to a walking path at the park and the breakfast had enough variety and choices. Overall, Id say the hotel was an excellent value for the price and I would definitely stay here again.

2021-12-09Near walking trails and grocery store, clean and modern hotel with a cozy gas fireplace in the lobby. Staff was very friendly and accommodating during my stay. Extremely clean in room and shared spaces such as gym and breakfast area. Would stay again and highly recommend if you are in need of a place in the Rochester area

2021-12-29You know what you’re getting with a Holiday Inn Express. That said, this place is good value for the money, nicely updated rooms, and a functional workout facility and common space. For an easy going traveler this place offers more than enough convenience and service.
