Ive been a regular here for about 8-13 years and they are one of the most professional, patience and holistic dental offices in the business. Everyone is friendly and attentive and try to provide the most optimal and pain free dental work around. Id recommend them to anyone and everyone looking for a healthier and mindful experience to a place that typically gets stigmatized for pain.
Not really an honest Atmosphere at this dental clinic & it does not feel holistic inside the operating room. Materials used are almost mainstream, I am saying this because I had 2 fillings done there but they fell off after 7 months ! You will notice that Dr. Lewis Gross is So tachy on Payment Options, like: we gotta see how much you got assuming you are rich to be at this clinic as this clinic is horribly overpriced, But He lacks competence in return and sometimes can get sarcastic to Patients ! Not recommended
So happy I finally found a holistic dentist that aligns with my personal philosophy--- In a 30 minute appointment I found the solutions to problems I didnt even know I had (an acidic mouth which is a hostile environment for healthy gums, alignment issues, nutrition). I so highly recommend this place, Dr. Gross knows what hes doing, takes the time to explain and listen, and is genuinely interested in helping. If youre sick of regular dentists forcing solutions like root canals down your throat and you want affordable holistic care, go here and you wont be disappointed.
My experience at Holistic Dentists in Tribecca was wonderful. The staff friendly and helpful. Dr. Grosss work excellent with varied options for further treatment. I felt no pressure in making choices. Karl Dixon, hygienist, was pleasant and very thorough showing his many years of experience in the field and as a teaching hygienist.I highly recommend this Dental Practice and look forward to my return for follow-up on the necessary tooth extraction that went very well with no pain or complications during or after.THANK YOU, Holisitc Dentists Team!
Wonderful place with excellent professionals! My dentist dr. Verma is the best! Finding a holistic dentist in NY took me a while; before I used to go to a dentist who was using very chemical and invasive procedures. The change was radical and no doubt that I receive a much better quality of care here.
I had a dental emergency at 6pm on a Wednesday - my front crown had broken off! Holistic Dentists were willing to take me in right before closing, and I wasn’t even a patient of theirs! They are polite, efficient and sorted me out that evening. I don’t know what I would have done without them!
Be very aware of this offices prices in comparison to other providers in the area...for X-rays and and a cleaning my insurance company (that is out of network with this office and was not clearly explained ) was charged $675 compared to a $150 -$200 by almost all other providers eating up all of my allowable expenses for the year. I did not have to pay out of pocket but was basically robbed because now I have no insurance to use for the rest of the year. Dr. Gross charges 550 for a composite filling most other providers charge 300 maximum! My four bitewing x-rays cost $200 with Dr. Gross whereas most providers charged anywhere from 50-90 and the most expensive being 160. Please do your homework before seeing this dentist!!! He is basically a thief and his front desk staff is rude and dismissive. I would never ever visit this office on principle alone! This it the kind of practice that make me disgusted in the way health care is headed these days. I unfortunately did not shop around before hand and made the mistake of trusting that all providers where about the same in price comparison. Please dont make the same mistake as me!
They have a clean and easy-to-access facility. I went there for an Invisalign consultation. The orthodontist explained the process to me and showed me video results from other clients. I feel comfortable that they deliver on what they promise.
Very compassionate. Dr. Bloom takes time to listen and will take all the necessary steps to make you happy. He is a magician with the needle for anesthesia, thats the most dreadful part, and I didnt feel anything! First time ever! Incredible! I finally found TRUE holistic Dentist!
Dr. Gross and his team are wonderful! The moment you step nto the clinic you are treated like a VIP. They are very knowledgable of holistic practices - they even have a nutritionist. She is awesome! I am now her client. I went in for cleaning and mercury filling removal. I highly recommend this place.

Love this place. Been going for years and they keep getting better! Hygienists Lorena and Karl are gentle and thorough - exactly what you want when you get your teeth cleaned! And the doctors there know their stuff :)

2022-06-06Friendly and pleaeant. Took time to answer my questions. I had bone surgery and extraction. I rode my bike home 15 miles home, so it wasnt that bad, and recovery was very quick and only used advil first night. Cant complain about that! So yes good place and worth the price, its my mouth and i need to take care of it.

2021-12-27This place has an amazing vibe!! From the front desk to hygienist to the Dentist himself. What a Wonderful visit to the Dentist this was !BTW: I dont like to visit dentist and this time I have to say I enjoyed my Dentist visit. They take there time to explain all the work that you need to get done. No rush and no push either. Definitely, will be back soon !

2021-12-23My hygienist Carl makes your cleaning experience feel like you are at a spa for your teeth. Soothing background music and calming aromas. I especially like at the end when he gives you a scented damp towel to wipe you mouth. 10/10 customer service.

2021-10-01Dr Verma is my favorite dentist of all time. No matter how complex the issue is, she handles the problem with grace. Painless dentistry with exceptional outcomes. I love Dr Verma and I love Holistic Dentists. Shout out to Dr Gross and their fantabulos dental assistant Judy. ..and of course dont forget Karl the dental hygienist and the reason I came to Holostic Dentists 10 years ago. My mouth is in optimal condition thanks to these exceptional professionals.

2018-01-24I had a wonderful treatment. The deep cleaning I received was wonderful. And the dentist ( I don’t recall his name😢)who preformed it was amazing and quick as the severity of my teeth condition wasn’t the greatest. Dr. Gross just amazing. First time meeting him and I felt like I knew him all my life. I do not like going to the dentist, but he made my visit feel relaxing and safe. The re-bonding of my teeth was great. I was satisfied. The receptionist Cat, (that’s what she said her name was, very unprofessional) however was not so friendly, and had an nasty disposition. I recommend replacing her as she seems un happy with her job. I was suppose to schedule an appointment for me to come back as well as my child, she was unable to accommodate me correctly. If I do go back now, I do not want to deal with her. One bad apple can spoil it for the entire team. They are very expensive but well worth it. Teeth is an expensive part of your body, and both dentist were amazing so my money was well spent. The office decor was great and the scenery as well. If you can avoid cat I will recommend this place to anyone. And it’s holistic!!!!!!

2021-12-23Not like holistic procedures. Not as expected one. They are very busy personals, don’t have time to counsel you and I don’t see any holistic purpose of going there. This is same as regular dentist or less than that.

2018-02-23I recently started going to Holistic Dentists last month and I feel extremely happy and confident in these dentists and everyone in the staff. Appointments start on time or within 10 minutes. Everyone is courteous and polite. The facility was well maintained and clean. The equipment used seemed more advanced than other dentist offices Ive visited. The doctors were knowledgeable and listened to my issues and my history of dental procedures (I am prone to cavities and have had poor results from multiple root canals and other conventional dentist protocol from when I was a teenager). They had alternative and holistic methods to suggest that could help solve my teeth issues long-term, which is something Ive been searching for, as opposed to only getting more operations but not understanding cause/issue. They are also extremely intelligent and competent at what they do. So far Ive had 3 appointments, one being an extraction which I did not decide to do lightly, but felt was my best option and trusted they had the expertise and technology to do the best job possible. I would definitely recommend Holistic Dentists.

2018-04-18I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Gross to remove mercury fillings. My fillings were removed & replaced in less than 20 minutes, really fast! Dr. Gross seems to be very skilled and GENTLE, as I did not experience major pain despite having only a very limited amount of local anesthesia. I must add, that I was really impressed with the various gentle and natural techniques Dr. Carl (hygienist) used to clean my teeth and gums, all in a friendly relaxing tone. So far, I’ve had 2 appointments in this office, and they were always on time....unlike others where you need to wait because appointments are overbooked. Holistic Dentistry was so far very timely! I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking for an office that both is run on time and by qualified experienced professionals.

2019-02-15Dr. Gross is a terrific dentist. Extremely thorough and was the first dentist willing to spend a lot of extra time with me weighing the pros and cons of treatments. He was a perfectionist with my in lay implant and even offered to redo it if anything were to go wrong. Unlike other dentist he didnt go through the motions but thought about each step and its function in my mouth and holistically. Moreover, he does everything he can to conserve your tooth first and does not push more extreme treatments. In my experience, many dentist just follow the steps. Dr. Gross critically thinks about each step and how to perfect it for better outcomes. I absolutely will be recommending him to everyone I know. Thank you again Dr. Gross.
