RUN dont walk to Holy Schnitzel!!!! I ordered to cornflake shnitzel and it was AMAZING!!!!! I highly recommend this place!
Holy Schnitzel has amazing sandwiches at an amazing price. The portions are huge, so you usually get two meals out of it, making it an even better value.I’m also a big fan of the Holy Sauce. One time I ordered and they accidentally put holy hot sauce on my sandwich, so I called and they delivered me a free replacement immediately.Also the Cajun fries are dope. Would 100% recommend as a side that you order every time. Or even if your roommate orders a sandwich but not you, have them get you Cajun fries in their order.
Highly suggest going. Amazing poppers, and chicken sandwiches.
I wrote something but it earsed. We dined outdoors the food was very fresh . I had the ceasar salad with schnitzel. We had high chairs for the babies and it was a great choice for a family gathering of about 10 people

Holy Schnitzel sandwich was dry. Chicken was fresh and cooked well, but not well supported by other ingredients.
This is a very good option for the neighborhood. The food was pretty good, albeit a little less healthy than I normally like to eat. The service, however, was perfect. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. This option is even better if youre kosher as the entire menu is certified.If you are like me and not kosher or observant, you may find it useful to know that this location is closed from Friday mid-afternoon to Saturday around dinnertime (7 pm).
We brought the food home and it was still hot. The sandwiches were so big that there were halves left over for tomorrow. Everything was tasty. I had the Tony special. Just the right amount of heat on a soft baguette.
I want to like them. But every order is consistently late. If they say the food will be ready in 15 minutes it shouldnt take an hour.

Great fast food meat joint that serves vegetarian options. Smallish but has tables for dining in. Clean, friendly service. The place is Kosher btw. The burgers are amazing!! They also serve great salads (including make your own), wraps, etc. Once you place order at the counter they bring it to your table. They dont take reservations but very affordable.
Been ordering from them for a long time. Today I had a $171 order and wasnt able to add the cookies online. I called to ask if they could add them and maybe offer it, $4 out of $171 order but the manager refused.Sad to see that after so many orders and $171 spent, they cant even offer 3 cookies !!!Wont be ordering from them anymore.
Being from Chicago, I was hoping to experience some tasty New York food. My friend took me to Holy Schnitzel and I couldn’t have been happier. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was even better. A special thank you to Yossi for making this an exceptional experience. He was both helpful and extremely professional. We plan on returning!
I was in upper west side and called my friend 6aniel who recommended this place to me. Everything was up perfect, from the food, to the service. I ordered a bacon avocado burger which was AMAZING. The avocado was fresh and the beef cooked perfectly. Thank you for keeping it kosher. Highly recommend to anyone in the area, who likes a good clean meal.
Bad experience. Ordered on UberEats. Food took almost 2 hours to come, the poor delivery guy had to wait at the restaurant for over 45 mins for the food to be ready. The food came cold. Their portions are tiny. They only sent 2 side sauces for an order of 10+ items. I do not reccomend. Over priced and not good service.
Terrible customer service. The app did not correctly process my order or give any itemized receipt. When the order was wrong the manager wouldn’t even speak to me on the phone or do anything to help correct the order. To add insult to injury, orders placed via the website or app get filled last, whereas outside delivery apps (Uber, seamless, grub hub) jump the line so the wait times are ridiculous.
We ordered burgers for pick up. I had to repeat my order 3x.When I went in to get I wanted to check the bag that the sauces were there. The cashier was irritated Nd told me the order is exactly as placed.We got home And the 2 medium burgers were definitely well done. There were no sauces on the burger even though the order print out clearly stated the sauces and they were not on the side either.Pretty negative experienceStaff who answer the phone should speak EnglishFood should be made according to orderAverage burger at best.Simply not okI know I can’t wait until Amsterdam Burger reopens just a block away.

They brought the main course, then the soup, and then the appetizer last. service was poor and disorganized.bland soup, bland beef, ok fries. onion rings tasted like they were from the freezer and came to the table when we finished eating.tasty pannini. clean. good light?
We placed an order from Holy Schnitzel on the Upper West Side at 6:30pm. It arrived over 3 hours later at 9:40pm. I am not satisfied with this service. If it was going to take longer than 90 minutes to arrive they should not have taken the order to begin with so my wife and I could have made alternate arrangements. I am not satisfied with this service. The bland salad and tiny chicken wings werent satisfying either. Im not going to be ordering from them again unless they make it right. 3+ hour wait for delivery is unacceptable. Again, if its going to take this long, dont take the order. Also, the time that it arrived was 9:40pm, not 9:09pm as shown in the screengrab. They closed the order early. It wasnt there then. UNACCEPTABLE.
Lazy establishment. Drove over half an hr to get some kosher food and I was there ten minutes before closing to pickup TO-GO. AND THEY RUDELY CLOSED THE DOOR IN MY FACE. If you like bad attitudes mixed with mediocre food for high prices this is the place for you.
Delicious sandwiches - we got the Holy Schnitzel and Kung Fu. Ordered takeout from here twice, picking it up since we read some bad reviews about delivery. Chicken is perfectly cooked, bread goes really well, and the spicy mayo perfect. The first time we ordered they couldn’t find our order in the system when it was supposed to be ready (30 min wait time) until 10 mins later it appeared finished. Today we waited 20 mins which, given how busy it was, is totally reasonable. Giving it 5 stars for the food, and I’m confident the operations will get better with time.
Ordered lunch here for office staff, everyone was disappointed. I had the chicken tenders which were VERY under seasoned and the meat was pink. Won’t give this place another try.
Ordered pepper steak. It was awful. I think you have to stick with what they do best and that’s Shnitzel.
I was here with my boy the other day. Man. Where do I start? First of all, great friendly atmosphere overall. I come in and everyone is smiling and loving the food. I really enjoyed the loaded brisket fries. Dont get me started with the crazy chicken finger dog. Lastly, Yossi was very respectful to me and my guy and we had a great conversation. I’ve been to Holy Schnitzel on UWS multiple times and most recently tonight. Each time I have tried a new item on the menu and always have a great experience. Food is consistently tasty and service is impeccable (shout out to Yossi who is always friendly and helpful). I plan on coming back...
A colleague and I went to Holy Schnitzel the other day and our meals were delicious and the service was phenomenal. The loaded brisket fries were divine, and I would highly recommend the Big Joe Kung Fu “Bacon” sandwhich. Shout out to Yossi and Edgar for being attentive, courteous, and service oriented waiters. I’m looking forward to my next dinner at Holy Schnitzel!
Horrible service nasty staff!Avoid this place like the plague!I ordered Togo and wait 40 min for fries! Then the guy handed them to me after I watched them sit on the counter for 10 minutes! I said your not even going to give me a bag? The owner should reach out and apologize for such behavior but I doubt they care
They have the worsssstttt order online system! It takes a little less than TWO hours to get the food- even a small order, 10 blocks away I hope you are not hungry!I ordered several times and got the same experience all the times. I am giving up on it!
Had a wonderful experience at holy shnitz. The food was great and the service that Yossi provided for me and my boys was excellent. Even though it was extremely busy, Yossi made sure we got everything we ordered, continuously brought us sauces, all with a smile on his face. Yossi is the man.
Their food was great, definitely recommend anything shnitzel related from here as the name suggests. The only thing they really need to improve on is their service because it takes a very long time to get food and sometimes they mix/mess up your order.
The food was incredible and the service was even better. I was helped by a nice young man named Yossi, very polite and was even able to help me figure out what I wanted. Never had an experience like this anywhere else. I’ll be back.
Nothing fancy, just really good food. Ive been there several times and they have never disappointed. The touchscreen ordering takes a little getting used to but the overall experience is great.
THIS PLACE DESERVES ZERO STARS. Ordered take out last night and 2.5 hours later when it arrived I couldnt believe how gross it was. How hard is it to make a salad with chicken? Apparently very. Gross old vegetables, disgusting inedible chicken. This place can not survive in NYC. Beware.

Horrible, avoid.I took a falafele tehina hummus wrap, it was bathed in the sauce. A DRAMA !I took chicken, I think they were cooked the week before. A HORROR !And the cookies… my god the cookiesI cannot describe them, a repulsive taste.And to top it off I waited 2 HOURS for my order.TWO LONG HOURS. When I received my order I wanted to call the restaurant to give them my opinion on this rubbish but the restaurant had closed (I had placed the order at 9 p.m.) I received the order at 11 p.m.In short, $42 in the trash.I suggest it to you ! 🥲

2022-04-13My favorite place to grab a bite on the UWS! There’s something for everyone, you can go simple with a Holy Schnitzel sandwich or treating yourself with their brisket on any sandwich or burger! Oh and did I mention they have crispy kosher pickles!!! I recommend you try to eat in or grab take out since delivery options take forever.. You can even call ahead to order for pick up!

2022-06-22Good prices, the chicken fingers are good and the schnitzel is ok. It taste a little too sweet, so I would recommend the one with chili flakes. Also the thickness of the snitzel greatly varies, the last one I ordered had almost a 1:1 ratio of chicken to breading.

2022-03-11They have good burgers...and it really hard to me to say something good about burgers in nyc...but their salads better to just ask sauce on the side (they overkill will it). The schnitzel nice too.
