Have stayed at Hilton brand hotels for a while and always enjoyed my stays, until i stayed at this location for night very disappointing. Staff failed to clean various areas of room from dust to candy wrappers, Bathroom smelled moldly, antsin wall, ripped sofa couch, holes in curtain all of this in plain sight. I called front desk to advised of issues and see if we could get another room but was told no and no offer to resolve issues. Never again at this location.
Best place to stay the night for $90! It included a beautiful room with a little kitchen, 2 very comfy beds, very nice breakfast (included), a simple but pleasant pool, gym and computers for the guests. If you are a person wants to stay up with a premium experience, then Home2 Suites by Hilton is a very good recommended places to go!
First night the TV in room was good, the maintenance guy told us that in the next day they are installing a new system. What a joke, the new system is horrible, the guide goes by network not channel and you can only view what is on now and next. then when you do find something to watch you click on ok and the wrong show comes on.As for breakfast, it left a lot to be desired. all i had was a toasted bagel which when it came out of the toaster is had no toasted colour to it nor was it even warm. And it was very difficult spreading the rock hard butter on it. The coffee actually tasted like it had some sort of detergent added to it.Maids and maintenance people should not be flipping the lock to hold the door open when going in and out. it makes a horrible noise for the guests and is also very hard on the latch.
Great place, lots of spaces in parking lot. Staff are kind and helpful. Wonderful thing is they have wide variety of hot breakfast which you can either take to go or eat at their breakfast place. Another thing is they accept pets but we have to pay $75 for the night. The room we got is spacious 2 queen bed with day sofa and a little kitchenette. We also get to do laundry for free. Their gym is open but we didn’t get to use as we had to travel to Niagara Falls which is the main reason of our visit. It is also a walk away to shop and eat. Highly recommended.
Highly recommend it!!! I was not accepting to see such a nice hotel for 2.5 stars I will give it 3.5 stars easily, The room was very clean and fully stocked with everything that you need for your trip, The hallways in the lobby was very clean and updated, The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they even have free charging points for electric vehicle and Tesla!!Really enjoyed the time over there and wish I could stay there for more I will definitely come back there next time when I will be in the area!!
Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was ok except the dishwasher leaked every time we ran it and even after telling them 3 times it wasnt fixed. We were given a free night for the inconvenience. And even though we booked months in advance we couldnt get a suite with 2 beds. The pullout wasnt horrible but Id rather have a bed when Im staying a week.
The rooms exceeded our expectations and were very well kept! The customer service was exceptional as well! The staff was quick to respond to our requests and were all happy to help. There are clean appliances in the room with dishes and everything you need for your stay. We have only good things to say about our stay here!
Very clean .... All areas. They were cleaning constantly. Didnt have fear of covid. Breakfast ok. Coffee excellent. Only complaint, the bedding needs to be upgraded. Sheets come off and top sheet and quilt just fit. Like that they only clean your room upon request. People working front desk were all great, especially Adam. Please upgrade bedding. Beds are comfortable, however. 5 stars then.
Nice and clean hotel. Great breakfast. My only comment is that when our tour guide called the front desk we were only told of 2 restaurants in the area. There are MANY. It would have been very easy to park the bus centrally and have people go to the various restaurants. The 2 restaurants she suggested couldnt even accommodate us. Some people didnt even eat dinner that night.
Great service. Friendly, professional staff. Clean room. Nice view. Pool was open, but we were not able to avail ourselves of it because we didnt know before we arrived. Breakfast was provided, and it was full of choices. I was unable to find out what to expect for breakfast, though, before I arrived. Not that I needed to have a detailed list, but just a general idea wouldve been nice. Very nice place to stay.
First of all, there was only 1 elevator working so wait times were unbelievable. When I got off the elevator on my floor, the hallway was freezing. Breakfast options were less than desirable and exactly the same for both mornings. I was contacted by a manager regarding my unsatisfactory stay but nothing was done about it. Wouldn’t stay here again and would recommend you pick another Hilton hotel as this one is not about customer service.
We have stayed here before and definitely will again. I love that it is pet friendly but clean. In December 2019, they did an amazing event for the entire family for the holidays. My kids loved it since they were out of town for Christmas. We will definitely stay here again.
If you are looking for a place to stay, either for a day or a week, this is the place to be. from the very friendly staff to the very clean and roomy rooms and the very good breakfast that included hot and cold cereal, choice of eggs , and home made waffles, you cant beat it. coffee and tea offered all day long. located within walking distance to anything you need including many restaurants. price was better than any other hotel i found. i will be back on my next trip to buffalo. you will not be disappointed
Loved the room. Comfy bed. Nice ac/heating. Plenty of room in the studio king suite. Okay shower. Could have a 2nd shower head (the one you use for washing body that has a cord...sorry dunno what to call it lol) the breakfast wasnt good but i never get hotel breakfast anyways. Gym was okay. Had heavy weights (up to 50lb dumbbells) and a machine although the machine was broken and parts were on back order. Had treadmills olypticals medicine balls a yoga mat a bench for lifting and a back rolling log. Was good enough. Pool was alwsys crowded with screaming children so i never got to use that unfortunately
This Hotel is a nice option for a longer stay. The kitchenette options are welcome to accommodate some form of in-room dining. The location is convenient and close to take-away restaurants and Trader Joes (bonus!). Angelica at the Front Desk is a fantastic Staff member. Welcoming, accommodating and pleasant!
Rooms comfortable, though the heater/air conditioner was tricky to operate correctly. Efficient reception and cozy lobby. Wi-fi in two tiers, so the hotel nickel-and-dimes you for the faster track! Parking spacious in a lot with decent illumination. Shower pressure is satisfactorily high. Convenient location and modern amenities in the rooms such as mini-fridge, microwave and hair-dryer.
Spent three days, 2 nights at this hotel with my family. Very accommodating. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Just walking in you can tell they are taking covid seriously. Hand sanitizer stations ALL throughout the building. Our room was spotless (Im a clean freak OCD) You can also customize your cleaning schedule if you want house keeping, like if you want your bed made, clean sheets in the am or anything else cleaned. We choose not to have anyone in our rooms, so you just set trash etc by your door in am. The staff was also great about our pool time! Yes its open! Another thing Im big on besides a clean hotel/room is the shower! Was super hot and had good pressure. This hotel is also by EVERYTHING you could possibly need or want. Will stay again or look for this hotel when traveling!
Awesome stay! The room was very clean and it smelled like they had just cleaned and sanitized it right before we arrived. Masks are required in public spaces and all employees were wearing one. Although the breakfast bar is closed they provided a great assortment of breakfast foods to go. The pool was open and you can reserve it for a period of time just for your room. The room itself is great especially the small kitchen. Its in a great location, 25 minutes from Niagara Falls and a great shopping center right next door. Highly recommend.
Got here after a long day of driving. At around midnight. Had a travel hockey team in the room above us playing hockey. Complained to the front desk, a couple of times. I was told thats just the way it is with hockey teams. They wanted us to move rather than talk to the disruptive room. They only agreed to do something about it when we mentioned calling the cops.
Came to the area for work and always stayed at a Hilton property for travel but this one is the Loudest Hilton property I have ever stayed at. People above use banging on the floor, running, moving furniture around most of the night no matter who checked into the room. If I could add the video and sound I would. If you want to get sleep dont stay at this location. Hilton Diamond rewards member
I’ve stayed at a lot of Home 2 Suites across the country and this was the worst. The first room I got, all of the dishes were in the dishwasher and they were dirty. I was going to just pop some soap in and run it rather than complain, but there was no soap. So I asked for a new room. The second room- The whole window shade in the bedroom was off the track and impossible to lower. So it had to stay open all night. When I went to get the pull out ready for my kids to sleep, it was full of popcorn. The elevator sign on the second floor was completely busted. There were scrapes and smears on the walls in the hallways. It seemed like the whole place was just a bit grungy. The staff was very friendly and tried to accommodate us by switching rooms. I think the problem is with the cleaning crew. It would be ok with a deep cleaning and some fixes.
Except for the exercise room/gym, everything else was good. There were various weights missing and a broken cable rendering the pulley machine useful for only one arm exercises. Towels were also not made available so I only utilized this feature once though I would have used it more often.
Took my daughter here for a one night staycation because the pools are now open and we wanted to swim. The king 1 bedroom suite is great for families. The room was very clean. Hand sanitizer is everywhere. Pool visits were time scheduled. We had the pool to ourselves. If you hate crowds, now is the time to do anything you want with your kids. Staff was very friendly. Thank you for our relaxing evening away from our home. Great job following Covid protocols.
Had an issue with my keys but they fixed it reasonably quickly, and housekeeping couldve been a little better (my entryway floor was sticky, and the hallways needed vacuumed), but otherwise a great stay. The usual Home2 experience - clean, quiet, nice rooms, and friendly staff. Easy access to the highway, shopping, and restaurants. My first time here and it will likely be my go-to hotel whenever Im in the Buffalo area.
A new hotel as of 8/26/19 really nothing special but for $100 from hotwire i was satisfied and would have been disappointed if i had spent retail $160 range. Opened 60-days ago. Room 201 handicap accessible took 3 minutes for hot water to come out of shower and pressure was abysmal (hot water heater is probably on other side of building). Pool was nice for the kiddos, breakfast quality was truly a 4 out of 10 (all basically boxed foods), saved us breakfast cost though - free coffee all day was nice (kids loved hot chocolate packets). Walls are thin, overall room layout was bit sterile. The chosen materials (flooring, cupboards, sinks) will all need be changed out in 5 years (things were pulling up, some counter materials cheaply made), quality appliances in rooms though (dishwasher/microwave). I would stay again if i could get the same price but would definitely shop around. It was a clean hotel, for now, nice smooth elevator but it left me wanting much more. Sorry Hilton, a bit sterile.
I had surgery earlier this year and my mom insisted on coming to keep an eye on me afterwards (of course I told her she didnt have to do that, but moms, amirite?). She booked a room here for about 5 days so we could have a clean, quiet environment during my recovery. Even though I was uncomfortable and in pain and probably scared some folks as I stumbled into the lobby with blood-soaked bandages sticking out of my face as she held onto my arm, I couldnt have had a lovelier time. The room and lobby were clean and nice, the staff welcoming. I look back very fondly on the days we spent here. It was about two weeks before COVID really hit, so this truly was the last normal, happy time for me. Hopefully more of those days arent too far ahead. :)
The hotel doesn’t have or enforce any social distancing/facemask requirement. You’d see a lot of people hanging around without masks. People are also sharing elevators. We are traveling from the west coast and have not seen a single hotel that has such a low bar in terms of covid prevention policy.Just to be fair, the room is nice with good amenities. I’d give a 5 star on a normal day.
Housekeeping stole cash from my room. Hotel confirmed police are charging her for theft..hotel insurance does not cover nor are they offering to refund the nights stay. I did not see one extra bit of energy cleaning for covid. And continental breakfast was a joke..cereal no milk, pancakes no syrup bagels no jelly.
The hotel is new and looks good. However, the customer experience is poor. Our rooms heavy window blind was not working. The room attendant came and told us that was for decorative purpose. I travel a lot for work and knew that was a lie. Really bad service and lying like that is simply disrespectful.
Checked in last night. Get up this morning and there is no body gel in the dispenser which means basically no soap. Plus inside the drawer in the bathroom is clumps of hair. I reported this all at 6:30 AM this morning. Said it would be addressed. Not only was it not addressed but my room was not cleaned either. Not what I expect from a Hilton property. 3:20 PM and after asking about this they are just now cleaning the room! Once again not what I expect from a Hilton Property.
Audrey Capozzi the general manager was amazing. She was there night and day. The hotel just opened so there are some kinks to work out. We had a few issues and Audrey handled them like a champ. She was terrific!!! The rooms are nice and lots of amenities. The breakfast is good, not a lot of variety but good quality, great access on and off the highway. Would definately stay there again.
The room we were given has a faulty lock on it, so if you are assigned Room 308, make sure you slam the door or it wont lock correctly. While inside the room, use the lock on the door and the little thing at the top of the door for safety. Other than that, the room was great. The laundry downstairs is free for guest use, just have to pay $2 for laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Well come back for another visit.
Really try to remain loyal to the Hilton brand. Also really like home 2 setup. But after this stay we will seek other brands at least as an option. We found multiple hairs in one of the beds. To some no big deal, to others its a complete turn off! After reading the message posted on the mirror in the bathroom and the message posted in the elevator, I wondered....it states rooms are attended to every five days. Definitely not on the weekend, unless requested. So the discovery of hair strands in the bed just made me question if they attend the rooms in between guests if it has not been five days???
Walls are thin. First floor you can hear all the traffic on Niagara Falls Blvd. Can hear the people stomping around above you, or talking in the next room. Cleaning staff doesnt speak English. Bed is super comfortable and the pillows are amazing. Room is nice and big. Comes with full kitchen.Covid update September 2020: they use some kind of cleaner on the tile in the kitchen area and very sticky. Gym is closed, pool is not. Lots of hands sanitizer everywhere. Walls are thin on the 5th floor as well.

2022-05-02We were very pleased with this hotel. The room was spacious and well-appointed, and the mini kitchen in particular was useful for us. On our first day, we used the Hilton app to check in and unlock our room, which was convenient. The room was sanitized to our satisfaction and you have to explicitly ask for housekeeping services, which is great for those who dont feel comfortable having others in their room. Breakfast was included in the rate and was filling, although its the same fare everyday. The app did give us trouble unlocking the room on our third day, so we had to ask for room keys. That and checkout were our only interactions with reception.Overall this was a great find and wed recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable, modern, and reasonably priced hotel in the Buffalo area.

2022-06-07I stayed there a few weeks ago for a little buffalo trip and my experience there was great. The room was clean, the decor was nice but what I enjoyed the most was having the microwave and dishwasher available in the room. It was close to the university as I was visiting family and also close to canal side and Niagara Falls. I would definitely recommend staying here

2022-06-11This is a nice and clean hotel. The hotel is convenient to some decent shopping and easy access to the highway. I did find myself driving downtown to find all of the food restaurants, plenty of chain restaurants nearby, but not what I was looking for.Home 2 Suites need to upgrade their mattress, they are not the best quality.

2022-04-29Our stay at this place was wonderful! Sally, Jackie, Joanne, Fani, and the housekeeping staff made sure we had everything we needed for our large family of six. We stayed six days and laundry was a must. The best thing about this place is that laundry is free. We had a large fridge in our room and we were able to cook (on a convection cooktop offered by the hotel) and store groceries. This place is affordable and centrally located with lots of shopping and food choices. We loved everything about this place but especially loved the staff.

2022-06-27No body wash in the shower.Too late to ask by then I used shampoo.Coffee and eggs were great to go.Room aroma was stale and unpleasant as the creaking king size bed.The location to visit the American side of Niagara Falls was the highlight and the complimentary coffee. We will seek Marriot for the next stay. Thanks but no thanks

2022-02-18Unfortunately, Ive stayed here three times and had noise issues 2/3 of the time. The noise came from the wall and not from people, like plumbing or heat, like a loud tapping. I let the Manager know and they have been very good with follow up. Im not sure I would stay again, however, without knowing that theyve solved the weird tapping in the wall.

2022-07-02Booked 3 nights at this hotel. The staff is awesome, helpful and friendly. This hotel was super convenient to get to Niagara Falls, buffalo and many more places. Many stores close by. I would highly recommend!

2022-04-24If you are a light sleeper, Id stay away from this particular Home2. Paper thin walls can hear your neighbors conversations, every door open and close on your floor and the fairly loud road noise outside the window. If you have a pair of noise, canceling headphones, beautiful hotel, awesome staff, great location.

2022-05-08Why you might not want to stay here:1. Its not that our front desk lady just wasnt friendly, its that almost all of the front desk employees seemed inflicted with depression or some sort of existential angst. Maybe management could throw them a weekly pizza party, get them free counseling, or you know, pay them more. Their jobs are very difficult, no doubt, having to put up with all of us.2. The shower water pressure was very low. Like very, very low. Like Is this thing broken? low. Im not saying a pair of squirt guns might do a better job, but it was the lowest water pressure of any place weve ever stayed. Ever.3. Why is the bathroom trash can the size of an ice bucket?4. Why is the closet door and the bathroom door the same door? And why is it on a slide-rail?The sliding door is dangerous for little kiddos fingers. Its also incredibly difficult to use due to the extremely shallow handle (unless youre Peter Parker). Lastly, it has no lock so the bathroom cant be locked when in use. But who needs to lock a bathroom door when you have kids, amirite?5. Why are the walls/door so thin? What are those noises coming from the banging and clicking sounds in the walls? Pipes? Is the hotel settling? When neighbors shut their doors it shakes the walls. Thats exciting. Also, we picked a room on the 5th floor as we were told it was the quietest floor, but around 2am we heard a woman angrily screeching in the hallway and she was so loud it was like she was screaming in our room. That was probably vodkas fault, not the hotels fault, but just know that the walls are super duper thin.6. Breakfast. Nasty. Premade breakfast sandwiches. They were slimy. My son also said the muffins smelled like toes. After trying them, they also tasted that way. Eww.7. Why do you have to practically wear a hazmat suit to get breakfast? This is the only hotel on our cross-country journey where theyre terrified everyone is diseased and so we have to wear gloves for breakfast and sign a waiver that were not lepers just to go swimming.8. We were in a studio suite and the bathroom was tiny. Also the strangely course black hairs on the the bathroom towels werent our hairs. But gosh, what fun to unfold a towel to discover a hairy little surprise inside.9. The bathroom nightlight was so dim that I needed another nightlight to see it.10. The hallways were extremely cold, so wear a jacket when leaving your room.11. The room thermostat goes from freezing to burning hot. On 69 its blowing arctic winter air and on 71 its blowing solar wind. 70 is players choice, apparently.Aside from these reasons, it was a very lovely stay.
