I just love this store. It just lifts my spirit to see all the stuff I love even if I cant afford half of it.
The store had a nice layout. Im there are a lot of items to choose from. You wont be disappointed.
A nice place to buy home decorative items.I felt, they need bigger space to showcase their items. Most of the items are scattered in tight places. Employees can help to find the things you are looking for.
Great and vast collection of goods and employees are extremely friendly and helpful. Parking is free and theres a variety of stores nearby too.

Store is nice and just like the other ones, however some of the staff are rude or do not speak at all. Just walked out this store and I have to say that will not come back to this location ever again. I hope this comments find the manager and this employee is thought some communication and customer service skills. I cannot report her since she didn’t even have a name tag. However I hope you check the cameras, and identify and discipline this employee, time on the receipt 07/31/2021. Register 2 07:35 pm. We greeted her, handed her the items, thanked her, and all we got out of her was a nod and the total of our purchase. I hope she is thought some manners. Otherwise it’s a great store! Btw I worked in retail for 12 years, and this kind of appeal is not acceptable.

The Home Goods in Valley Stream is a sad mess. If there are good products, which I know there has to be, you have to be a very patient person to sift through what looks like a pile of garbage. The aisles are filled with miscellaneous products, theres hardly space to walk because of this. Shelves have broken items, things are not tagged properly, everything is everywhere. I cant stand the sight of it all. Ive attempted to shop at this location on 3 occasions and every time was the same. Never bought anything: walked in, around, and straight back out the door. Not worth it.

The store was a mess. The line was too long with limited cashiers,and I couldnt find a few of the stuff I needed. The cashier was good, but I wasnt impress with the store.

I go very often to this store I love everything they have I have always had a very good experience except yesterday I got a cashier named Samantha with her unpleasant and very heavy attitude I was not paying attention to me as a customer I was paying attention to the others who were talking around her
This is by far one of my favorite home decor stores. You can find the most beautiful and unusual things here. Prices not bad at all. If you see a must have item, grab it , it might just be a one of a kind.
Loved it, first time visiting the shop; every items the way I pictured in my mind. We shopped and we will be back, possibly at closer location could be Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn.

This store have some of everything, and beautiful things. Very nice place, but if you go there dont be in a hurry because its so much to see. You can find the perfect item here. I recommended to anyone. I love this place and will visit again and again.
Went there last week with wife and kids. Store Is loaded with nice decor items. Found a nice tv stand among other things. Cashiers are nice. But there a white older guy there he may be the manager. I don’t think he’s a nice man. I stay away from stores and shop online for people like him.

Moved to a new home. I couldnt wait to decorate. Home goods truly allows you to create what you have formed in your imagination, as the perfect decor for you. What is your style? If you know. Or, are unsure. As soon as you walk through the doors of HomeGoods on Sunrise Highway. Walk towards the furniture, the aisles that hold the paintings, the pillows, you will get the picture in your head of what you want. Each room in your home will form a reflection of your personality and it will be inviting to you and your guests. Have fun. Enjoy the savings. I picked up a $300 office chair for $75. The employee put it in my car. I only had to bring my car curbside. I love my office, the chair, it complimented the room and brought out the other colors. Your turn🙂.
This HomeGoods is very well stocked. They have a great seasonal selection thats well organized. The Kitchen wares especially has a great selection of high end pots and pans...(le Creuset etc...) . Also very nice selection of gourmet teas and spices.
Normally people leave reviews when they have a horrible experience.... I wanted to make sure to leave a review of a GREAT EXPERIENCE. I’ve shopped in this particular Homegoods a few times and let’s just say it was ok. But I’m not sure if there’s new managagement or staff within the last couple of months but WOW what a difference. The store is very clean (even during the holidays) and items very easy to find. The associates that work there are very friendly and eager to assist you. The cashiers move the lines quickly. (That’s a plus. No one wants to stand in line forever after shopping) I must say I think I’ve found my new go to Homegoods Store. Special thank you to Mr. Laron Mays who assisted my family. It was like having a personal shopper.

They have lots of great things like rugs, furniture, candles, and wall decor. They also include stuff for the fall season thats coming in October plus they have costumes for Halloween as well & they even have trashbines too, so come on down to shop til you drop with friends and families.
Extremely disorganized, there is no sense of organization or separation between departments. The staff is poorly trained and often have difficulty directing customers to basic items. I visited multiple times over the past several months, and there does not appear to be any improvement. Items are strewn about aisles posing a hazard in the event of an emergency. Home goods should really come into this location and retrain everyone. If they do not have enough space, then scale down in some areas to make the store more open and welcoming.
The front of the store looks nice, but the deeper you get inside, the messier it becomes. A whole aisle was filled with pillows and there were unwrapped toys everywhere. The shelves were in disarray. The staff is really nice and helpful. Some of the younger kids that came in the store with their parents essentially turned it into their own personal playground, unwrapping toys and throwing things all over the place. Although its really hard to find what your looking for, they have some great imported glass, and this place has its Easter collection spot on!
Good store to pick up items for your home. Some prices are very good, others are still to high in the range. Not much in staff, so your on your own when you shop here. If you go on busy season like the holidays winter time. Get ready for a lot of merchandise to be all over the places. This was a hot mess when I went on December 2017. Items were all over the place, stuff on the floor. These why I gave them a 3 1/2 star rating out of 5.
Nice home goods with a nice selection. It’s pretty much located in a brand new mini mall with a few other stores. Parking is decent even when the location is busy. The line seems to move quick even at its busiest time.

There were no shopping carts. I had to empty one that was sitting with stuff in it. The store was small but loaded. There were only 3 cashiers and 1 was being trained. I wont be back to that store until after the holidays, maybe.
Love the kitchen section. Toys for young kids are nice and educational. Small but good childrens book section. It would be great if comforters had Fall appropriate color selections.

This location has the worst customer service in the world. One, there’s a Caucasian woman whose looks like management. She has the nastiest attitude and doesn’t seem to acknowledge it. Another thing is the conditions of some of the merchandise. What I noticed in the store was that many items were damaged or missing pieces and the store would still sell it for full price like it’s the customers fault for stumbling on those items. Avoid this store at all cost
This Home Goods is the worst. Lines are always long and never moving. There are usually no more than two cashiers at the registers with a line of 15+ customers. Request for additional cashiers receive responses like: we have a hard time getting people to report. They call out sick all the time or that’s all we have right now. This would never be the case at Rockville Center or Merrick locations. Hmmmm... I wonder why. It’s simply unacceptable.
Stopped in to get a gift card and wife ended up getting a set of pots she loved after waiting on line for fifteen minutes and barely moving she asked for a manager and was met by an inept asst mgr named Laron to whom she complained about the long line and only two cashiers. He dismissed her by saying he had two call outs and was helping a customer with a rug and left. We like home goods but not the Valley Stream location. We ll advise friends as well as the gift card recipient not to go to valley Stream if they want service or easy checkoutNever Valley Stream!!!!!

I love HomeGoods and been shopping their stores eversince we moved to our first home. My home is filled with HomeGoods stuff. Ive been to many HomeGoods stores, in Long Island, and I make sure I visit the nearest store when I am out of town/state.Today, my usual great store experience is spoiled by this impolite and seemed tired cashier at register 2 between 1-2 pm (am stating the time so that the management can identify this nasty and poor mannered lady). She does not know how to greet customers well (the cashier at register 3 was great, full of energy), she did not address my concerns with professionalism. She liked to ensure that she was the one in charge of the conversation and left me with feelings that I was stupid for asking questions and for my requests.Please train this lady.
Not well organized store overall and very cluttered aisles. There wasnt a ton of variety based on other homegoods stores that Ive been to. Cashier was friendly and helpful but I didnt see a single employee on the floor while shopping. Will not be going back to this one despite its convienent location. Its also a nightmare in terms of traffic and parking ESP on the weekend which is to be expected but I dont want to deal with it.

This homegoods has a wide variety of items for every room in the house. Granted, lines are long now but moves fast still.
Let me begin by saying, that I absolutely LOVE HomeGoods! I have been shopping HomeGooos stores for many years and furnished almost my entire house with merchandise from these stores. I was excited but very quickly disappointed with the few experiences Ive had at the Green Acres location. Some of the staff are very friendly and want to help but the store is always understaffed and management does not manage staffing or the store. A particular manager working Saturday evening on 9/09/17 makes her own rules about holding merchandise ...wont bore you with the gory details but the policy here is unlike any other store. Although this location is closest to me, I will make a point of not shopping here again. I had taken a long break after a previous bad experience; this weekend reminded me why I need to forget the HomeGoods at Green Acres even exists!
Customer service here really effin blows! There’s literally ONE very nice African American lady who’s so upbeat and full of energy and very helpful, makes u so happy to shop when u meet her. The rest are literal BLOBS OF NEGATIVY (when u do find them, I swear they hide from the customers), do y’all get a lunch break? Because the girl I got at the cashier tonight seemed hangry. Actually this is my second time at this location and the second time I got HER and she’s so rude, makes u never wanna go back because u don’t wanna risk having to go to her register.... Get some new staff at the valley stream location asap, home goods!!
Too many damaged pieces, even new furniture arrivals always seem to have some scratches. Not enough choices of curtains or bedding and the store seems to be stocked with odds and ends that didn’t perhaps sell in other locations. Just way too many mismatched, old and damaged items😢

This store has everything! A lil sumn for erybody! Furnishings and accessories for every room at great prices. They even have specialty, organic, and hard to find items like veggie chips. Himalayan salts, organic chocolates, Manuka honeys. Macaroons, cookies, every and anything!

I just visited the new HG In Valley Stream. DONT waste your time, keep going to the store in Rockville Centre. SMALL store, not organized, not a good selection of anything,can t get through the aisles as there is always some cart in the aisle. Employees not very friendly. This was my first and it will be my last.

This store is an absolute joke. People waiting online 40-50 minutes while one person rings up orders. The line literally is halfway through the the store. If I could give this store a lower rating I would. I have to give 1 star in order to post.

2021-12-11I was out by the Green Acres Mall and had to stop by Home Goods. I must say that I’m surprised. The place is loaded with novelty items. With enough creativity, you can transform you living space to be a unique design. I’ll definitely keep this place in mind for house warming or baby showers. Great find!

2021-12-04WORST PLACE EVER 📍📍📍 I feel bad for the workers there. I have noticed because one of my friends works there, I see that that they have been completely strict to workers and how they feel mentally or physically. One of my friends recently told me how she needed a day of for a personal situation and got RIDICULED by one of the managers. It is HIGHLY unprofessional to get questioned for your intentions. I personally think that need a new management system because this is RIDICULOUS. My friend works to hard and has the nicest customer service to be feeling this way. Don’t be surprise when people start leaving as a result of how employees are treated at this establishment. This place should be reviewed as zero stars if possible and management should be re evaluated and there attitude need to get checked.

2018-12-07Lots of goodies to find for home or as a gift. Huge selection of seasonal items. Right now store is like a Christmas wonderland. The only drawback is that there at along lines for checkout. We went today at lunch to purchase something with a coworker and I spend most of the 35 min in the store standing in line.

2021-11-23Great store but crowded with items. Apparently delayed shipments are coming in at an alarming rate. They need a sale fast to move some items or a larger space. Early mornings are the best time to go otherwise long lines.
