Ordered through UberEats. Should’ve checked google for the reviews first.Jollof Rice- was obviously beyond old rice. The rice was extremely hard and and tasted scorched.Fish- Severely overcooked and tastes old as well.Straight to the trash it went.I’m amazed that their still open based on their reviews. They desperately need a new cook.
The Service is absolutely terrible. I ordered a small order of jollof rice and cubed beef. The waitress told me there was $10 min for credit/debit cards so my order came up to $11. She charged my card so much that it locked and I had to call my bank for the payment to go through. And then to add insult to injury she swiped it and refused to let me put in my PIN number which locked my debit card again. After that entire ordeal I get home and find a dead fly in my food. Needless to say I will NEVER spend a penny there ever again.
This place when u order for food & come to pick it up you have to Waite for minutes. I do t know what this old ladys are up to,may God help us in the new York.
Great selection of West African cuisine, always Uber eats because it’s pretty far from me but never disappoints, the Assorted meat and the goat meat are always cooked to perfection , the Zobo is amazing wish they had more in stock whenever I order ,love the food ,one day have to make a trip just to sit and eat overall amazing ❤️
Been here multiple times and their food is ALWAYS excellent.Ive tried to White Rice with Buka stew, porridge, peppered snail, efo riro, and then some; even the zobo drink was on point. I will certainly recommend this restaurant to everyone.If you are looking for an authentic Nigerian food experience, to dine-in or take-out, Honey Bees is where you want to be!

First experience was excellent, second, my efo riro was so tiny that I had to manage.the third i decided to pick it up myself instead of uber and its just one person working ,taking orders and making food.i practically spent good amount of time waiting as we were three diff people at the same time.but really,the food is great so great that for once Id th ought I was back to Nigeria again.will still come back .
I just ordered ogbono soup with Eba and the ogbono soup did not draw.it was so thick and looked disgusting I couldn’t even eat it.. just wasted my 20dollars .are y’all cooking for yourselves or you customers?👎👎👎

2022-01-27If I could give this place a negative star I would. Doesn’t even deserve 0. I came in to complain about the chicken that we paid $6 for because when I checked, it was extremely light. The Lady at the counter was absolutely rude. She said I couldn’t get a refund because I paid on a card and the owners weren’t there. Mind you, I came back 3 minutes after my boyfriend brought it to the car. The whole time I spoke to her she was yelling at me and everyone in the restaurant was looking at me even though I spoke to her politely. She didn’t offer to fix the order and went about doing other things and ignored me, so I eventually just left. It wasn’t until I got home and opened the chicken we realized that it was all bones. There was literally no meat in chicken. Even the jollof rice we bought as small and had more bones than meat. I will not ever return to this restaurant because of the service. I highly do not recommend this restaurant. Save your money for a restaurant that willValue you as a customer.

2021-12-28I ordered from here on uber eats a found A BUNCH OF HAIR in my egusi soup. I was so disgusted so I decided to call them to reason before I made a review, I reported them non the less. They kept telling me that the hair was probably vegetables when in fact there was MULTIPLE STRANDS of hair. They were super rude and tried to lie about the fact that they had egusi soup that day. When in fact I have a receipt, the physical soup and picture proof. They were telling me to carry back the food to them when I ordered delivery and why would I inconvenience myself for a mistake on their behalf. In the end they hung up the phone on me. Spend your money else where.

2022-06-22This is not a place you will want to spend your money. They are terrible. I have had several orders with them, sometimes their food tastes good while most times their food tastes super salty and horrible. Costumer service is Zero percent. They need to be revaluated by the government agencies based on the quality of service and food they sell out to the public. Its a very terrible place. Dont even go near them on Uber.

2021-02-07This was the worst food I ever had, the pounded yam taste like they added flour to it . You spend 16.00 for a little bowl with 3 small pieces of chicken the soup has no flavor...I have never wrote anything bad about any small business before however you guys need to better your standard.

2021-03-08Terrible attitude by the one person working the place. Told us after we ordered and came back to retrieve our food that the system was down and we needed to pay cash (which should have been shared when we ordered). Then yelled $37 about 5-6 times while we sorted our cash. THEN got home and had one of the most mediocre, flavorless meals in recent memory. Oh, wait, I had to toss some for having that “refrigerator” taste. So that’s memorable. And the chicken app was LITERALLY all bone and cartilage. Not even flavorful enough to suck out the juices so that also got tossed. Should have put the $37 directly in the shredder.

2021-01-22I am a very picky eater because I enjoy cooking my food myself , but this restaurants food is absolutely on point, never disappoints. The Buka sauce is to die for. Then the Jollof... Talk of smokey. You might not like the oily consistency of the Jollof, it tends to be oily, but I am sure you can ask them to give you the top, because their customer service is amazing!!.

2018-06-23Had the interstine thing its beef insides in a tomato stew more like fried in this red sauce and pounded yam. It was delicious but a little too firm for my taste. I like my meat soft. Clean restaurant! The staff needs some hospitality training, they were a bit unprofessional. The staff was very warm and inviting though. Sadly my phone died.so no pic. Will diffenitly take my family there.
