Honey Nail Salon in other cities:
Been coming here for a few years. The prices are a little steep, but the service is prompt, and accommodating. The staff work hard to keep the space pristine and safe for all patrons. The cosmetologists are incredibly patient to when I have gone for a back wax or a scrub pedicure. I appreciate the convenience of the ATM onsite, but I wish there was a little more transparency with how the compensate their workers, especially with the investigations at nail salons a few years back of labor exploitation/illegal employee compensation.
The ambiance is nice, however I do not think the pedicure service warrants the price. This was my first time at this business and I expected a long lasting pedicure. Unfortunately, the polish chipped within a few days. Im used to polish lasting weeks. The service overall did not feel thorough. I like efficiency, but it seemed like it went by too fast.
Love love love how clean and professional the establishment and staff are. Melissa is aweosme.Update: I actually stopped going here as Melissa my nail tech was rude and did not want to do my mani pedis anymore because she kept telling me what to tip her and what others were tipping her. Understand this, a tip is a courtesy it is not owed to you. You have no idea if what someone gave you as a tip no matter the amount was their last dollar. The manager seemed to not care that their tech was rude and she tried to humiliate me stating that I did not tip her one time and I had to put her in her place. She did my nails so perfect but the attitude was not worth my time. Thank goodness nail salons come a dine a dozen!
Update: I’ve been going there for the last three months, the service now sucks! Nails break off quickly and they don’t like to hear negative responses. The older Receptionist acted as if it was a issue because my nails weren’t being shaped right. I’m being over charged for the same job I can get at any other nail salon for a cheaper price, minus the attitude. Around my cuticles burn from her cutting and buffing. I’m Extremely disappointed and I did like the way the receptionist acted as if I was a problem because I want my nails done right…for 120 yes they should be shaped correctly, not painful and last more than a week and a half. Amy the nail tech laughed with the other nail techs in their language when I showed her she didn’t shape them right. I felt totally uncomfortable.
I’ve gone to Honey numerous times and had mixed experiences, but generally very good. My last visit over a month ago has resulted in continuous nail issues that won’t stop. Multiple toenails have peeled off underneath the polish, I’ve had several hang nails, and two infected cuticles. I’ve moved to a new neighborhood so I wouldn’t be returning anyway, but I wouldn’t go back as a result of the poor experience. I don’t know what’s in their polish or other treatments but I’ve never had these types of issues as any other salon.
Melissa took such good care of me for my special graduation pedicure. Honey was a really good experience, i love my nails, and they were nice to my little cousins who came in at the end to pick me up for my graduation party. Definitely coming back for lil honeys manicure with my aunt when my baby cousin is old enough!
I cannot deny that the environment feels professional comparing to other places however, it came to a time the nail technician was feeling preoccupied as she would get in trouble for taking too long with a customer. Also Its not worth paying a lot to have your gel peeling off after just one week. I still give credit for their professionalism.
I had a really nice experience - everyone is nice and the place is lovely. However when I got a mani-pedi and I had to pay $5 extra to do my fingers and toes in different colors.I was excited about the express options but I dont think Ill do it again. The experience was haphazard and my technician just seemed rushed. The full manicure was better for sure, but Im looking forward to them bringing back the finger soak. My nails needed it.All that being said, Ill go back and keep an open mind for my next experience because there were a lot of things I liked about it.
I like that its a clean nail salon and before the pandemic they offered complimentary beverages. However, the down side is their limited selection of nail polish. Ive never been to a nail salon that didnt have OPI nail polish, which is one of the top brands. As much as they charge, they should be able to provide it. I also am never pleased with how quickly they do a pedicure. I feel like Im getting a rush hour, express pedicure. Im in and out in 15 minutes. What the heck! I cant even enjoy it. The massage is a joke. If anything, I feel like Im basically paying for a color change. Very frustrating because its a beautiful atmosphere, nice ambiance, but speedy, very mediocre service with limited nail polish and expensive prices.
Always clean and courteous, and never a bad experience with my pedicure. Gentle, precise, and thorough - and every staff member I’ve sat with has been very friendly. Complimentary tea is always a plus. Good selection of Essie colors as well. Sometimes a long wait on the weekends but you can make an appointment easily enough. Glad this location opened!
Ive come here 3 times and the first 2 were great. The 3rd time I got a gel manicure and Unfortunately 2 nails chipped within a week. When I called to see if they could fix it, I was told I would have to get another gel manicure. This is very disappointing given the prices honey nail salon charges. Im sad to say I wont be returning
I would give 5 stars for decor and cleanliness plus the people are nice. But I wasnt satisfied with the service. I wasnt impressed with my manicure and pedicure the place is over priced for the service. The nail technician kinda rushed my service. I wasnt satisfied with the foot scrub and how she cleaned my nails. Cleanliness is important and that they are but if the price is going to be double what other salons are charging , the actual service should be better.
Went there to get my nails done at Honey Bc I was staying with a friend in Brooklyn. I thought to myself like wow this place is really clean, it may be a keeper. Melissa did my nails and I loved it! About two days later, my s&s starting cracking and I was livid. For the price I paid ($126 all together for s&s on my hands and gel on my feet) that shouldn’t be happening after two days. It was such a waste of money Bc my vacation nails looked like three week old nails. Lesson learned: stick with ur original nail place.
I always come here because it’s nice and clean, but it gets more and more expensive each day for what you get… it’s kind of rushed and I think you should think about add-ons… I got a French mani, already 20 dollars more Expensive and instead of in one finger having white I wanted black, so they charge you 5 more, it’s not like I am adding, it’s just replacing and it’s a LINE, way too expensive.
Happy to see this place has now opened. I used to go to the location on Vanderbilt but moved here. Excellent pedicure today and I especially love the fact that they are sticklers for cleanliness. Sterilized metal tools and disposable single use emery boards etc. Fanny gave me excellent service. A little more pricey but well worth it for the clean surroundings and attractive setting.
Went to this location for the first time yesterday. I got a milk and honey manicure because my hands were in such bad shape (dry skin, torn cuticles). The place is bright, clean, and calm. The staff is professional and attentive. My manicurist was AMAZING. She took time to inspect my hands and cleaned them up immaculately. The milk and honey mani @ $40 was a bit of a splurge, but so worth it because they used a lot of products to exfoliate and moisturize my skin. Finally, she did super paint job—I chose a polish from CND. I will definitely go back to this salon!
The place has $20 minimum for a credit card charge. So if you are having a manicure, you better make sure you have cash. I didnt see the sign (which was in the back of the salon), and asked them to make an exception and charge my card. They refused to do so. I think $20 min is reduculously high. Most places in the neighborhood have $10 min and are much nicer to their customers.
Over priced and poor service. I went for manicure and they rushed me even though there were no other customers waiting. They didnt give me the massage that they are supposed to give with manicure. And my nail polish chipped off the same day. I wouldnt go back again. Better off going to a different, much cheaper priced nail salon and get better service.
Fantastic service many months ago. Was offered tea. Everything was explained to me. Great brows clean up and good manicure.Went in today and it was a new receptionist who was very rude and not welcoming at all. I felt like cattle being herded and rushed in and out. Not happy with todays service.
Beautiful desined salon, however dont let that fool you. You dont get any special skill of treatment for the very expensive prices. Ive gotten equal or better mani/pedis from much more reasonably priced salon. The pedi station is ridiculous. It is a full-wall banquette with a tiled platform you much step up and down on. your legs may be too short to reach the pedi bath and you will need your back propped by pillows- very uncomfortable. With all of the money spent, they couldnt spend for pedi chairs? Definitely not worth the trip.
Found these guys on Yelp and decided to give them a try. I didn’t see the need to make an appointment because their profile on Yelp says walk-ins are welcomed! I walked in only to be turned away. Even after another customer who they could not service gave me her appointment, I was still turned away. I wouldn’t waste my time or money with this salon - just piss poor customer service!
Was okay until the end when I gave a tip that I believed was fair and was told that I had not tipped enough and HAD to tip more... I tip for the quality of service and I believe it is rude to tell someone that they HAVE to tip more not knowing if they can afford it. Especially coming as a girl in high school with not a lot of cash on me and not hearing until the end that they only accept tip in cash.
As a new establishment, turning away potential clients is not a good idea. Walked into a half empty salon and when asked what service I needed (an upper lip wax, I responded) was told I dont have time. No explanation followed by you can wait a half hour. Hmmm, no thanks perhaps if their approach was different I would have stayed.

2021-11-12Had an SNS manicure done by Fiona, who was very polite and professiona and did not have An attitude to redo four of my nails after I was told to wash my hands and the nails were not quite dry. She was patient and did her best but its Thursday, four of the nails on my right hand is cracked, one breaking my nail.. its only been 6 days.. so disappointing and upset after paying twice the price at this nail salon 70 dollars instead of the regular 35 at other nail salons lasting 3 weeks

2022-07-24The first time i came here was for a girls day with my boyfriends little sister and we both received pedicures. she is a dancer 4 times a week and our pedicures lasted the same time. they took their time with both of us, and it was such a nice and relaxing experience. i don’t even get my nails done back at home in new jersey anymore because i’ve found a spot that takes their time on me, treats me like an adult, and a respected paying customer and i fall in love with the results every time. this time i came back and splurged with a scrub pedicure and it was everything i hoped for and more. a beautiful and throughout scrub, hot towels, 7 min massage, and immaculate painting. perfect way to end a very long week on my feet.

2022-03-21Michelle serviced me yesterday and it was my first time getting a pedicure from her. She was excellent and I appreciate how she will go above and beyond to make my visit special everytime I see her. I love the vibe of the salon and the music is on point!

2022-07-05I went in here because my shoulder was very tight and it was causing a migraine. Ive had this happen before so I know a 15 minute massage would help me out. Before the service, I asked how much it would be and I was told $15. At the end of one of the weakest massages Ive ever received (I get massages weekly), I go to pay and she tells me the total is $24 after having established the price of $15 BEFORE sitting down. Absolutely ridiculous. To top it off, the massage was terrible and my shoulder was just as tight as when I walked in. NEVER AGAIN!

2019-12-02I think I found my nail salon to get my basic manicures done! I am a hand model and Ive come here twice already for both of my shoots and my nails come out looking great in both photos and in person! I call ahead of time to make sure they have spots open because they are definitely busy during the weekends. They offer water or tea to make sure that you are comfortable. My absolute favorite is when they massage my hands and put the hot towel on my hand after. You can tell they really care. ANY MANICURE LESS THAN $20, PAY IN CASH! They do have an ATM but just something to keep in mind when you go. I think $15 for a basic manicure is good and my manicure lasts more than a week which is pretty good considering its not gel. Also, i would recommend asking for the rewards card they have where you get points for every dollar you spend. Would recommend coming here!

2020-01-05Every two weeks I drive from the Bronx to Brooklyn for what I called the “Honey Nail Experience”. Not only is the salon bright and airy with a farmhouse modern-minimalist feel, the staff are warm and welcoming.Consent is the name of this game! Cutting cuticles, filing down vs cutting down your nails, a massage while your nails dry? They always ask! Why? you may wonder. Well to put it simply, everyone is different and have they’re preferences. Your salon experience shouldn’t be one-way-fits-all. Honey Nail knows this and that is why the nail techs take their time to ensure you’re getting the service and attention YOU need.Find a location and go! You’ll be happy you did.

2022-01-19I went there today for the first time just based on what the place looks like (fancy unlike all the places around here and from what I can tell it looks clean and professional. The place looks clean and neat which convinced me to walk in and immediately I get service because it was fairly empty. I wanted a basic pedicure for 39 dollars but ended up getting a calluses removal treatment which amount to 50 dollars (I forgot the price but is around the 50s) and add a gel manicure for forty something dollars (again I don’t remember the exact price but you get an idea) I’m satisfied with the way my hands look but I agreed with other reviewers about the process being rushed - i came home to read other reviews and some said the same thing. My feet didn’t came out the way I expected it for the price I paid, Im not happy with the way my toe nails look, and the whole process was rushed as well and my feet definitely don’t look like I paid $50 dollars for a pedicure.I don’t like leaving negative reviews but I after paying 100 dollars plus tip I would’ve wanted to love this place. I might give it another chance in the future because I really like how clean it is but here you just paying for the looks which is a total bummer because the place and price do not match the service I got.
