Honors Haven is a home away from home. The fresh air makes you feel like you are in a place that is beyond peaceful but nurturing to the soul. The hotel and resort is very clean and safe. The staff are extremely thoughtful and nice. Furthermore, I enjoyed the food and extra activities they had on the land. I would recommend people go to Honors Haven 3-4 times. year for just a reset, released and relaxation.
[The event team is second to none.] We recently hosted a leadership summit at Honor’s Haven Retreat & Conference over the weekend. From the very beginning of the engagement till the follow up post-the-event summary, the entire event team at the Honor’s Haven has been consistently hospitable, courteous, and professional. They are well-organized, answer our questions promptly and clearly. To organize a team event during the pandemic period presented us with additional challenges and HH’s team made our lives much easier. The site is truly a sanctuary away from the busy world and you get a sense of getaway but closer to tranquility. A relaxed atmosphere allowed us to have our leadership team members feel welcomed from their first step into the resort. We held an open-bar reception at the Zephyr Lounge, everyone had a great time yet it was gentle on our wallet. The dining team was also wonderfully friendly and they prepared warm meal boxes for our late arrival guests from Boston and Washington, DC on the travel day. We ended up booking the entire conference section with 4 breakout rooms which allowed us to have a productive discussion during the summit. We are a non-profit organization with a limited budget, but this resort made our dream come true. The attendees’ feedback was overwhelmingly positive, many were pleasantly surprised. It helped us to create a true unforgettable experience.
I was very happy with this trip! It was reasonably priced, the people were great, the food was healthy and fine, the property was so awesome, and the activities fun (we did the all adventures retreat) and the itinerary not too jammed packed. By no means is this a fancy luxery vacation but it was absolutely what I wanted and needed to spend time with my friends.
The food was delicious and healthy. The wait staff was also present and helpful. Rooms are clean and air-conditioning worked well. The Wellness Retreat was just the right level of challenge and reflection. Also, you were free to set your own pace and participate at your own level. Re the low ropes course, it was so much fun!! great team building activity. The trainers were knowledgeable and supportive throughout. I would highly recommend to someone or a group looking for a break from everyday responsibilities, an opportunity to commune with nature (waterfall hike was amazing) and also reflect on where to from here in ones life.
I just got home from a liver detox retreat. Helpful and friendly staff made me feel at home. The beautiful scenery of the lake and the mountain from my room was amazing. But most of all the program was amazing!! I was amazes how much stuff came out of my.. well I thought very healthy.. body!! The whole process was interesting and eventful. The instructors were knowledgeable and very helpful. And finishing off the program with a gentle and peaceful yoga and meditation was just perfect.Plan to come back soon.
We chose Honors Haven for our writing retreat, and are very happy that we did! We are 10 educators from New York City, who needed privacy as well as opportunities to meet together. The helpful staff worked with us to meet our needs for space, fun, and wonderful (lots of good vegetarian food, and lovely coffee breaks) food throughout our visit. The spacious private rooms were clean and classic with nice views; we had the Solarium all to ourselves for our meetings (with a nice little lobby outside the Solarium for break out groups). We all took walks regularly, but the hike with Nick was a high point; he was patient with our science teacher needs to stop and analyze often. I cannot say enough about how helpful, attentive, and friendly all of the staff were (thank you Naomi and Shaniqua!). We especially enjoyed our chat with the chef as we were getting ready to leave with our boxed lunches (made at the last minute for us due to travel plan changes). I am certain that all of our group would recommend Honors Haven for a working vacation and I will treasure our visit always.
The health and wellness propaganda is a farce. It was quiet because it was empty. Aside from the other 12 guests. Then on my second day the hotel put a family with kids right above me and they banged and jumped for three hours before the hotel moved me to a different room. It seems like the entire twelve guests were all on the same two floors while the whole 500 acre resort was empty. The food is a three on a scale of one to ten. The prices are not worth the service at all. Its like a motel in an old out dated resort. There is a huge for sale sign in front of the very old half way condemned resort. Do not waste your time or money here.
I absolutely enjoyed myself, the staff was accommodating and extremely helpful. I locked myself out of my room about three different times during the late-night hour and never once did they lose their patients. The purpose of my visit was to unplug and connect with my colleagues and the mission was accomplished. Thank you Honors Haven Retreat.
Great place for a getaway trip! The outside is beautiful, with a lake, hiking trails, and waterfall behind the building. Trekking through the snow was quite the adventure :D Food was good too although it was takeout only due to covid. Plenty of food places nearby as well. The indoor pool was warm and spacious and the jacuzzi was amazing. Will definitely be returning 👍
The grounds are beautiful and well kept, The rooms are big and spacious. The food was excellent a great variety. overall, the Honors Haven Retreat & Conference, was clean and COVID friendly. I will visit again soon, also a great place for family, conference, retreat or just a vacation, they have a lot of amenities and activities on the grounds.
Great place to go to get out of the city and into nature. The resort is kept very clean. The standard rooms are suite size and the beds are comfy. Food is great and the amenities here are very nice. Check out the ropes course, indoor pool and jacuzzi, hiking trails and natural waterfalls.
Well Ill start with the staff is fantastic and the grounds are beautiful and the rooms are clean. The surrounding area is truly breath taking! Now, as for the hotel itself it needs a serious update if sleep is what you want youre not gonna get it here. The walls are paper thin and the beds (not queen but full by the way) areas hard as rocks. I wish that I had a better review of the hotel itself because the people and grounds are so amazing but I dont.
This hotel is located in a breathtaking location. Surrounded by mountains, this place is incredibly peaceful & relaxing. I enjoyed the trails, particularly the special treats like swings and the waterfall. Love the meditation garden (the labyrinth). I spent a bit of time enjoying the view from the Healing Park. There’s quite a few activities, including swimming, pedal boats, jacuzzi, camp fire at night and a variety of classes during the day (yoga, tai chi).I took 1 star off because the bed was pretty hard and the walls are thin. I could hear the dog next door barking , kids crying across the hall, and conversations in the other room next to me. I would strongly recommend the hotel also invest in better hinges to prevent the doors from slamming. Every time someone leaves their room the door slams hard & it startled me a few times while sleeping. But again, this is a beautiful location. Definitely worth staying here for a couple of days to relax and getaway from the busyness from the city.
Grounds are beautiful. Rooms are not clean. The light switches in the bathroom were noticeably dirty and were easily cleaned with disinfectant wipes. Have no idea why they couldnt be cleaned prior to occupancy. The hotel is woefully in need of updates. You feel like you are in a post-apocalyptic world--a condition that stems beyond the current covid situation. If the place was clean, you might enjoy the kitsch. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Visits to Aroma Thyme Bistro and Cohens Bakery in the village a must!
I had such a great experience at Honors Haven. The room was comfy and clean, the food was surprisingly delicious, and the staff and experiences were amazing. I didnt expect my trip to be so moving, but this wellness retreat really helped remind me of some important things that I need to focus on. From the leadership challenges to the meditations in the forest and movement classes in the studio, the experience was definitely memorable. A must-visit resort in the Catskills. Thank you to all those who facilitated the Peaceful Warriors Retreat.
Beautiful location, breathtaking views, great food and peaceful vibes. This is my favorite staycation spot. I felt absolutely safe and comfortable attending a weekend-long retreat in spite of COVID. They have all the appropriate measures in place and guests obeyed the rules. It was a different experience but still relaxing and I had a great time. Already planning to visit again soon.
Everything about Honors Haven is excellent; from the clean rooms with amenities, the Spa treatments, the Zip-Line experience, the grounds are clean & serene, the scenery is exquisite in nature, the food was great & tasty and the staff was gracious and awesome! I researched how to get to Honors Haven, by public transportation, because I plan on coming back for retreats that are scheduled to occur.
I attended the immune booster retreat 8/20 to 8/22. It included Qi Gong, fermentation cooking class demo, exercises to improve gut health, and improving your well-being overall through breathing, nutrition, exercise, and gut health. I learned so much and I plan to apply it to my everyday life. I stayed in a duplex suite, ate delicious, nutritious food, took a guided meditative walk through nature, and learned some simple tools I really need to improve my self- care. I cannot wait to make a positive contribution to society by teaching what I have learned to friends, family and anyone who will receive it. I highly recommend staying at the Honors Haven retreat and conference center. They compost food waste, converted a golf course into a space kind to the environment, and seek to heal the earth. The space is clean and safe. The staff are friendly. The grounds are beautiful. I think they should share their recipes for black bean cakes, Moroccan chickpea and lentil stew, spicy tofu with pineapple, tomato basil soup, vegetable soup, it was sooo good.
An older resort with a wonderful view of the mountains in lower Ulster county. Decor is dated, but still pleasant.Limited parking in the main circle, and majority is behind the one wing, far away from many rooms. No fridge in the room, which is such a basic feature in most hotels nowadays. The grounds are a mix....the pond behind the main building is gorgeous, and the other gardens in front are lovely to walk amongst. But the grounds closer to the main road are overgrown, the footbridge across the creek is unsafe, and lots of brush, fallen trees, etc.Probably would stay there again, but mostly for the attraction of the surrounding region than for the place itself.
The place is amazing and service was great. The location is super convenient and the lake and surrounding mountains are super beautiful. We had a junior suite with a king bed and it was great, huge room with a lot of space for our things and very inspiring spaces to read and write. The restaurant and a few things were closed due to covid, but overall it was a great experience and we hope to return.
I am exceptionally glad that I chose to attend the Finding True Self retreat at Honors Haven. I got new insights about myself and discovered how I was getting in my own way. It was a supportive environment, with knowledgable and empathetic leaders helping participants every step of the way. In addition, Honors Haven is set in a beautiful spot in the mountains, and the food was yummy, too!
Naomi, Shaniqua, Zaida, and Heather along with the dining room host and staff were warm, helpful and gracious to my group of Writers. I was so grateful they accommodated my many changes and were willing to reach out to me at a moment’s notice. Thank you! Thank you! We had an awesome time. Loved being in the “healing” waters and receiving inspiration. Master Shiwon shared with us an excellent class in Qigong. Food was great because there was variety.
I still remember the days of the Nevele and the Concord and I lament their demise. To have a hotel that still has the spirit of these places, even in a smaller format, is so rejuvenating. I love that they kept the original interior and their on-site activities are so unique and wholesome. Staff was excellent and kind but I wish theyd be a little bit more clear on how dinner works (you have to order well before due to covid which I understand, but it was a bit confusing, also the meals are very expensive but they were tasty). Had some chats with the cafe crew and the rooms still have that kitschy charm. With Air B&B prices skyrocketing to take advantage of city people fleeing the city, for the price youd have to be out of your mind to not stay here instead. A fantastic way to experience Ulster County and not that far a drive from New Paltz. This is my new place to stay when visiting!
Its so amazing. The decor is outdated but the place was so nice and clean. The staff was great and the garden was just so peaceful. Its really a nice local getaway. and we got to do the wine tasting package and that was the BEST wine tasting experience Ive ever had. I loved it.
Let me first say that this place represents itself as a resort and spa. Amenities are suppose to be included and then you have the added luxury of the spa. This is the only place to stay in the entire area, therefore they can jack up the price of their rooms knowing they will get filled. We came here because obviously its the only place to stay, we did a strenuous hike and traveled over 4hours from home to get there. After dinner we wanted to relax by the pool and were excited they had fire pits until midnight...the pool closed at 630pm, and they never had the fires going. What is the point of paying resort fees if you cant use the amenities. The air conditioner in our room did not work as well and it was very loud. The resort itself is very dated, the coffee shop is not really a coffee shop and the service was mediocre. Beware when coming here.
The rooms are nice and clean. I have eating restrictions and the kitchen really did an amazing job to accommodate all of my needs (it is best to call ahead and let the know ahead of time so they can prepare!). The grounds are beautiful, you’re a 3-5 minute walk from a gorgeous water fall (can’t beat that!). The staff are so kind and work very hard to make the stay has luxurious and relaxing as possible! The bath tubs (I’ve been here twice) have both times been clogged with hair so the drainage isn’t the best. I never told any of the staff, I am sure they’d fix it if I would have said something... Regardless of the shower situation, I would go back in a heart beat!
My name is Rich and I recently participated in a weekend retreat at Honors Haven. It was one of the best weekends of my life! The resort is beautiful, the staff is amazing and the program is life changing. I highly suggest this place to anyone in need of a relaxing weekend to a enlightening experience. You will walk away from this a changed person. Look forward to returning soon!
This resort has a great view, the landscape are beautiful. The building is 50 years old with wood structures. Interior decor need to upgrade. The food are incredibly delicious. Stayed there for 2 nights I felt relaxing and comfortable. This was also my second time to visit the resort. You should go, it worth for every dollar you spend.
What a beautiful oasis in the mountains! All the staff I encountered here were so friendly and helpful, and to me that is a wonderful reflection of the intentions of the resort. The views are incredibly breathtaking, and the facility is simple and nice. I was here for a workshop. I heard they are working on creating their own organic garden in the future! I cant wait to come back.
The smell in the jacuzzi room was too strong. The closing time of it and the swimming is 11.00 pm. The sauna closes at 10.00pm.Overall a good place. Clean rooms and really kind and professional staff. The gift shop has really accessible prices, it surprised me a lot.Amazing view everywhere you look at.
The rooms are more spacious than expected, or what we are used to. The staff are very friendly and helpful. While we didnt have the time to take advantage of it, there are pools and saunas. My main complaint was the layout of the resort is not intuitive. Trying to find the other wings or even the lobby from one end or the other will likely lead you outdoors (not ideal during our rainy stay) or utilizing various staircases that are only accessible from certain ends of certain floors.
Im reviewing based on my experience working with the Honors Haven to organize lodging for our wedding guests (we had the wedding off-site at my house). We worked with James in group sales the most - he was awesome. They were able to offer us a great group rate, guarantee a block of rooms, and help us to make practical decisions about how many rooms we really needed, etc. We didnt feel pressured at all. And they were willing to help us with all sorts of other things. Our guests loved being on the beautiful resort grounds. There were a few little things - difficulty tracking our guests rooms, having to guarantee a certain number of rooms, but it was all worth it for the great experience.
Its ok. Very peaceful and private. They have their own hiking trail. The grounds is huge for this property. Its a bit outdated and if you ended up on the west building facing southwest, you have a view of the close down hotel nevele. That property has been shut down and the hotel has an eerie vibe to it.
I took 90+ students to Honors Haven Resort for their senior class trip. The hotel is on a gorgeous piece of land. The hotel and rooms are beautiful. All rooms have mini fridges. The suites are spacious with couches and separate bathroom/sinks. The staff were extremely helpful the entire time there. I would definitely go back (without my students).
This is the ONLY place Ill go for this kind of thing. They have so many activities with lessons embedded into them. The people are amazing. The food is delicious. The nature... Not something I experience often coming from New York City.Overall this place has so many positive impacts on you, whether its the fun activities, the challenging activities, the people, or nature.I highly recommend going here.
The staff is amazing and eager to please. Theyre personable and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. I want quite impressed with the decor it was kind of cheesy but if you stay outside, everything is perfect, especially juxtaposed next to the Nevele Grand Hotel that has broken down right next to it. This is no Hilton but it is one of the better hotels in the area
Beautiful scenery, very nice landscaping. I especially enjoyed the mediation garden. The only thing I didnt enjoy was the check in process. I was told ahead of time that we could check in as early as 1pm even though check in doesnt technically begin until 3pm. So we drove 2.5hrs and arrived a little after 1 but the room was not ready until 2.50pm. Normally this wouldnt be an issue, but I had to be at a wedding at 5pm. Had I known that I wouldve been waiting almost two hours for the room, I wouldve left my house later and been a little more ready than I was. So to sum it up, nice place, great views, pleasant workers, but be prepared to check in at their standard time no matter what you are told ahead of time.
I attended a kosher dinner and speech at Honors Haven. The staff was very personable and attentive. The food was simple, but fresh and tasty. The grounds are beautiful and every aspect of the hotel that i saw was quite clean. The decor is a little late 80s-early 90s, but I find that endearing.
We had family reunion about 53 peoples. We stay there for 2 night. The room is very clean. The people who work there is very friendly. The restaurant look very fancy and special the waitress and the waiter are so so polite and friendly they make us very comfortable.only 1 thing I little disappointed is the campfires ( that is 1 of the function)maybe the wood too wet that make the fore went off all the time and make us so so cold.we only stay only few minutes then left.
I’m writing this as we return from a senior trip weekend spent at Honor’s Haven. The kids from Fort Hamilton were all kept busy with various activities. They loved the dance party & facilities. Even the chaperones enjoyed themselves (as much as a chaperone can). Larry & Adrian were super helpful, going above and beyond to ensure the kids had a fun and safe trip. Thanks guys!
Stayed here thinking it would be relaxing but it turned out to be a nightmare. Beware of the staff!!!They are opportunistic and want to scam honest hard working people out of their money!!We stayed for one night for a concert in Bethel Woods. I will start by saying it’s a bit pricey but nonetheless I got fooled by the other reviews. The room had a nice view and the room was clean. My boyfriend decided to tip the maid 10 dollars . Shortly after checking out t, we got hit with a 270 cleaning bill and pictures of cigarette smoke ! We don’t smoke and went back to speak to the manager to dispute those charges . After talking to her and it seemed she had our backs, she went back on her word .My guess is the cleaning staff figured they get more money from a hard working couple after seeing a big tip. So dishonest!! Beware of staying here !!. I should add we overlooked the clogged bathtub but we were so happy to be going to the concert! I hope nobody that goes here finds themselves in this situation.
Each time I return to Honors Haven Retreat & Conference center, I am more impressed by the thoughtful plans and improvements being made to be an environment that one can trust to grow through training, breathe well, find peace and serenity within nature, be welcomed with friendly smiles and eat heartily in the company of wonderful people. It is a place where you can be in touch with your truest nature and dreams in order to grow, heal and contribute to humanity. I wish you much success in all your future developments and hope more communities will take advantage of these beautiful surroundings!
My sincere thanks for having me as your guest. I could not ask for a more enjoyable time than I had in Honors Haven Resort & Spa. I extra amaze with marvelous amenities, food superb and fabulous services that made my stay with you for four weeks. until my inspiring fitness program ended. I was truly amaze with my one on one session with the trainer were very helpful and deserve a great deal of praise for their excelent customer service performance. The staff maintained a positive attitude and ensured that I felt welcome during my stay. Everyone treated me with dignity and respect. I was amazed at the consistency in their performance and willingness to go the extra mile. The staff was well groomed and took pride as representatives of the Honors Haven Resort.I have stayed at many hotels across the U.S.A Europe and East Asia and i have found Honors Haven Resort & Spa is most welcoming and motivating atmosphere.I am fortunate to have a wonderful time here.I will highly recommend Honors Haven Resort & Spa to my family, friends and business partners.I am looking forward to be staying here again! Keep up the good work and may god bless you.Very Truly Yours,Ibrahim
Beautiful and well managed. Great location for a personal get away or to host a large event. Classic Catskills Resort in mint condition. We have now hosted two large successful International Reiki Retreats at this resort. Good food and good people. Beautiful renovated classic 1900s resort.
I hosted a 3-Day Outdoor Meditation Retreat at Honor’s Haven Resort for a group of 18 participants. The property is absolutely breathtaking to say the least. Matthew and James were such a tremendous help in sorting through the itinerary for our group for the weekend. Nicole helped in leading a chakra healing meditation session for the group and provided private sessions at the Wellness Center. Her energy and spirit are Divine. We were fortunate to have her included in our group experience. Jonathan lead the group in Qigong Yoga, he is truly a master of his craft. The dining staff was impeccable in ensuring all of our needs were met. They were even able to pack up to-go meals for the group at our request. The entire staff did a phenomenal job at putting in the efforts to ensure all sanitation and social distancing standards were upheld throughout the weekend. I’m completely impressed and am already in the process of booking our next retreat. Many thanks!!P.S. The Mago Tree & Waterfall are a must see!!
After spending a total of two spectacular nights at honors haven resorts I am glad to relay that I had an extraordinary time. From the volleyball, tennis, indoor pool, paintball, skiing, snowboarding, to roller skating. There was always something to do. The resort contains multiple halls that host a plethora of conventions. There are talented djs at parties, fun Karaoke sessions, and even a gaming center. Out of all of the places I could’ve chose to go I’m glad it was honors haven the rooms were given to me with impeccable cleanliness, not a crumb in sight and they continued to clean the room after me. Not to mention the lavatories were located conveniently and closeby. The staff was extremely respectful and carried the best manners I’ve seen at a hotel by far. They were very helpful as well they always showed eagerness to help in every each way they could. Furthermore the food was divine. Every option available made me feel as if I was in a five star restaurant. It truly is the best resort in upstate New York and there is a reason why it put Ellenville on the map. The history and exquisite scenery only added to the already perfect details present at this resort. The Honor’s Haven Resort lived up to its name, it was an honor to be here.
Air Conditioning didnt work in our room. Repair guy worked all afternoon and got it working but just after midnight it conked out. It was over 85 degrees in the room. Next day they spent several hours and found a bad thermostat.Main elevator went out of order, and my wife, using a walker, couldnt get back to our room since we would need to go outside, and it was raining really bad.Next day some people were trapped in another elevator for a while but a maintenance guy got them out.No bagels at breakfast. Whoever heard of a Catskills hotel that didnt serve bagels? And the pancakes were so tough they were inedible. And our waiter mostly ignored our table.Used to be a nice place, gone way downhill.
I went here for a trip for school. It was a team building trip for a program. But as I got there I was really astounded by how beautiful it was. The staff was amazing and friendly. The rooms were nice and overall the atmosphere was nice. I would love to go here again as their food is out of this world. And the pool is amazing as well. I would definelty recommend this place to all my acquaintances!
Beautifully located, but sprawling and could use much better signage within the hotel. eg I had trouble finding my way from the parking lot to the front desk and later had trouble finding my way back to the car. The dresser was fine, but I needed one inch more to be able to use the plug to charge my phone. Food was served too quickly; dishes were not removed. Small things can make a big difference.
From the staff to the masters, the obstacle course, the food and the rooms were all 5 STARS! Looking forward to my next retreat at Honors Haven, I learn so much and overcame a lot of my fears during my 3 day experience. This is a retreat you have to experience for yourself!
This is a very nice place, good ammenities and not too far from the city. The service has been very good and the staff work hard to make your stay a good one. The outdoor pool is nice but the water is freezing, the decor could use a facelift and the oarking situation is quite odd. But overall a strong 4 stars and I would return here with my wife. Too bad she doesnt play golf, the course looks very good.
This is now the 4th year we go to Honors Haven & it is always a great time. The staff is so helpful and welcoming. The dining room staff is amazing. The rooms are always clean and well cared for. Adrian, our host, is always very attentive to my students. He leads fun and safe activities. We always keeps in contact the whole trip in terms of my students needs. Hes great! Honors Haven is really a beautiful, peaceful place which I find fun and relaxing at the same time. Thank you.
Im happy to write this reviewI read all the other reviews they were all bad. I by past that and i still went up to the resort. The room is nice. I did smell the carpet once I turn the a.c. off. Breakfast is not included but its delicious. The issue with the lounge is that u have to show i.d. even though ur a guest sleeping up stairs. They internet isnt that good for karaoke she it buffers alot. All the activities they listed is true ... u just dont know where to find them.
Lovely views and I heard the hiking nearby was good. It served the conferences purpose well and could see its appeal for large weddings. The largest issue seemed to be parking and that was likely due to the number of the conference attendees. I didnt stay over so I cant speak to the quality of the rooms.
2nd year that a group of students were brought here for a senior trip. Breakfast, lunch and dinner served on a schedule. The food is okay, but some dishes are pretty good. Lots of activities indoors and outdoors provided for kids and adults (indoor gymnasium, swimming pool, laser tag, dance parties, outdoor paintball, and pedal boating on a lake). The rooms are clean and well kept.
Check in was atrocious -kind of a mean person really doing it unprovoked and randomly. Rooms were super warn and damaged. What a great setting though, the little hike is great. Amazing to see the folded resort next door, a bygone era of golden days before people used air travel to jet wherever on vacation.
Very nice place but could use some improvements like temperature controlled air conditioner in rooms. The scenery is stunning from the dining room but some of the facilities need updating. Also, the derelict Nevele is next door and sort of diminishes the rest of the beautiful grounds of Honors Haven.
Nice little place tucked away in the mountains. Staff was very friendly and it had just been renovated. Very few guest during the week so it was super quiet at night. All in all I found it to be at or above standards. Oh except there was no ice in the ice chest. I didnt call about but Im sure they would have gotten me some if it was a major issue
This is the perfect trip for a senior overnight trip. The seniors from CIMS were very happy with the daily activities and the professionalism of the staff. They loved the DJ Adrian who played the latest songs, give out glow in the dark sticks and kept the party lit all night long. We are very please and encourage other schools to go to Honors Haven for their senior trip.Shout to Larry and Adrian for helping us organize 2020 senior trip.
If you live in the city, then its a nice escape from the city. On the face of it, its average type of resort. Rooms are average. Dinner below average, snacks are good although late night snacks cost. I came in the winter but it would be nice to come in the summer because the ground seen nice. They have nice activities such as lasertag, basketball, karaoke. Paintball and horseback extra.
The life guard leaves the pool at 3.. and they have a different person come to sit there to tell you that you cant swim in 5 feet of water as a 35+ year old. The beds are really uncomfortable. There are no microwaves in the room and a mini fridge costs an extra $10 per night... Which they did waive. There is no real restaurant, but a small cafe that is rather slow, and but that great. The property is beautiful and if you play golf or tennis its probably nice.
Beautiful mountain scenery. Food is decent. Staff unwelcoming and not accommodating. Shower is either scolding or freezing. Was here for huge function w over 200 people . We pray we are not coming back here next year.To add to this. We were placed in the Pacific room for dinner... instead of lowering the blower on AC they shut off turn on shut off turn on. Freezing us or we sit sweating..... But we have view of mountains..... for a place that had at least 3 elevators there was only one working which held maybe 9 people and less when there was a wheel chair. Luggage another issue. No bellhop to help and only 3 luggage wagons BUT they wanted our 200 person group as well as the other people there to be out by 11am as your door key would deactivate at 1115. I can go on and on how one should Not stay here. I would just be here all day.
We visited Honors Haven to look at the venue for our wedding. Our first impression was that the grounds were beautiful. The ceremony is held on an island in the middle of a lake and there is a tent for the dinner right on the shore. At first, we werent considering the tent, but after seeing the carpeted/temp controlled room we were considering it. They also offer a bonfire after party for your guests for an extra $175.As far as cons go, the resort seems have been recently renovated in parts, but they need to get their money back from the interior decorator. There is a very tacky theme of polished brass, tassels and hard clashing peach/maroon/yellows everywhere. Also, while we were walking through the rooms, there were so many light fixtures missing from the wall I lost count. Finally, if you are dealing with Michelle, good luck. She was horribly uninformative and hard to understand. She refused to give us prices saying it wasnt her job and that she was only responsible for booking a date before we were passed off to someone else. Who is going to book a date without prices?
With all they offer that you can take advantage of... Youll have a great time here! On the flip side if you dont indulge in all they offer, you might not have a great time...Its up to you - we didnt come here to not have a good time!!!Do the paddle board, waterfalls, pools indoor and out, inhouse cafe, tennis and basketball courts inside and out...A.n.d. they offer space for weddings and parties - what a great place to have a wedding!!!
Very disappointed with the experience. I have traveled and stay at a lot of places this one is the worst. The staff that I spoke with misrepresent the location. My advice is to do some renovations if you want to cater to people who are not high schoolers. My meeting space had dead bugs. We were place in a small dining area The menu provide and discuss was a lie. The bed were very j comfortable and on top of that they mess up the rooming list I have to them. Also the hallways smelled of cigarette smoke there is no microwave in the room and thev food is very questionable. The elevator was not working and yo get to the place were we had yo meet was like trying to get out of a maze. We got l lost several times. I can go on and continue to share my terrible experience that is also the opinion of 64 other ladies. For the money I paid to honors haven the service should be better. Very disappointed.
Ended up going here after I won a weekend for four. My fiancée and I and another couple just went this weekend. Prize included free meals, free lodging for 4 for a weekend. This place was horrible. I want the money back that I paid on gas.Other reviews have said this looks like The Shining. I thought it looked like what the Shining set probably looks like today after decades of non use, wide spread water damage, and mold proliferation. There was hair—of all sorts—on the towels in our bathrooms. The sheets felt like sand paper and fiberglass insulation had a baby and then made the bed with it.The “sumptuous” buffet had four items. 4 TOTAL. Bacon, cold powdered eggs sitting in water, French toast that had the taste of a cinnamon sprinkled sofa cushion, and cantaloupe so unripe it was green and had the consistency of an oak tree. Our waiter poured us coffee and was friendly. Then—no joke—we saw him EATING THE LEFTOVERS off the plates he was clearing. Are you still reading this? You have to take a hard look at yourself if you’re still even considering this place. We had previously tried to get couples massages but were told they were “extremely busy” and could only accommodate us back to back from 2-6pm Saturday. After our experience at breakfast Saturday we decided to leave immediately and I went the spa to cancel at 9:30am. I walked in and said I wanted to cancel and without any information they said “oh the 2-6 block?”. No one else had booked the entire day. The booking people had lied!Go here as a prank, go here to gross someone out, never go here for any other reason. Ever.
Went there for a convention the food was poor one elevator took fotevrf together. The bathrooms are small and the shower located in the tub is unsafe only one grab bar at back of tub. The dining room not big enough for large group and food was a buffet difficulty getting between tables. The rooms had an unusual odor. The parking was poor having to park on road. There was some difficulty walking with cane as floor was uneven.
Our family had an overnight scheduled in honors haven.... from the min we walked in they started chasing us and made sure we should feel unwelcome... wherever we were walking whatever we were doing wasn’t allowed! Nasty staff and attitude is an understatement! The amenities are great! We would definitely do a yearly stay if we would be welcomed.....
Updated the kitchen staff and management over the past year and the food is very good..! The service is much better in the dining hall, very proffesional , what you would expect for the price..! Rooms are outdated they could certainly upgrade the finishes but again for the price they are ok... The grounds are beutiful and very well kept you can certainly enjoy a peaceful retreat to the countryside within 2 hrs of NYC for a reasonable price. If you expect the Gansevoort level treatment, not your place..!
The retreats here have been phenomenal. I have especially enjoyed the living esentials retreat as well as the peaceful warrioirs camp (HEROES Camp). The instructors/guides of the retreats were fantastic and I left each retreat feeling re newed and gaining real life wisdom that I have been able to implement into my life immediately. I am looking forward to coming back again again soon for the healing chakra retreat. Thank you Honors Haven!
The rooms were a little outdated, but the staff was wonderful. There was plenty of things to do on the resort such as pool, tennis, hiking etc. Outside of that you had to drive to do outlet shopping like woodbury. We had out Thanksgiving family get together and they allowed us the use of there hospitality room which wss great, allowed our families to have a private gathering on the resort.
Me and my school went to Honors Heaven Resort for our senior trip and we had an amazing time. The experience was outstanding and we would like to thank Tri State tours and Adrian for everything. I personally enjoyed paint balling and the parties and all the other events they had.
We played golf, it was 12 PM on a saturday afternoon but it must have been a slow day because we git through all 9 holes without having to move aside for any seasoned players. The staff was phenomenally friendly and the grounds and carts were spotless!! Will definitely be going back!!
Honor’s Haven is a beautiful resort for those who want to relax and for those who want to do many activities. My only complaints are that my whole school either got the cold or the flu while here and also the food was a hit or miss. I’m unsure if this has to do with the lack of cleaning of the facility or just the atmosphere.
Here as chaperone for school trip. Food is decent and is buffett style. Rooms are clean but a little outdated. Bed is comfortable. Table lamps cut in and out, seems like an electrical problem. Beautiful scenery and decent amenities. Better than another location that Ive been to as a chaperone.
The staff were hit and miss. One of the main servers was rude and down right mean to some of the older guests. Our table for the conference was right near where they had the tables set up for the buffet and I watched him torment people simply because he could. Another guy wiped his nose on a towel he was drying dishes with, thankfully the girl he was working with snatched the bin of cups and walked into the dining room/kitchen with it.
GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!! I have been there for Meditation Retreats and for extended weekends many times now. There are beautiful walking trails on the grounds and they just built an awesome, peaceful Longevity staircase beside a waterfall for guided meditation. Great mgmt and even a pool and hot tub where you can see outside. So cool 🙏
Wifi is 1982 quality. Bar is only open 2 days a week. Breakfast is only available for a cost. Front security feels like you are at the berlin wall. The entire place feels like you are staying where the Shining was filmed...its nice but seems like its closing down around you. Wont stay here again simply because it is very inconvenient to not have wifi...its literally taken me half an hr to update my inbox. Waste of time.
Im attending a convention that has rented the hotel. The convention is less than $100 but to stay here is over $400. Even if you come on your own, you must by a food plan and eat at the hotel. The food is not good enough for the hotel to force you to partake in a meal package. Ive only eaten when they do buffets, so im curious if the food is better at other times. Staff is friendly and courteous!
We brought our Fantasy Camp up to Ellenville again for the 3rd year in a row. We had over 80 people with us. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained, the food was delightful and the staff was welcoming and helpful. This is the trip our students talk about all year and we cant wait for next year.
Came here for a 3 day weekend, heres my recap:WiFi: Horrendous speeds (180kbps throughout the 2nd Floor) select parts of the first floor have tolerable WiFi speeds (only around 5-10Mbps).My Room: Clean to the last corner. The Beds looked really nice when I came in, and the HDTV has cable although its only 480i upscaled. The Bathroom was beautiful as well. I was lucky enough to get a room facing the Pond, and the view was beautiful.Food: All guests can eat as much as they want for free at Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Any other time youll have to go to the Cafe on the lower level, and while their options are great...some are rather expensive (NOT FREE, gotta bring extra $$$ for here). Certain meals may take a while to make, so you might have to wait a bit.Things to do: Hiking in the woods, Tennis, Basketball, Handball, Table Tennis, Air Hockey, 8-Ball Pool, Swimming Pool, Sauna, Paintball ($$), Karaoke, among other things. Be mindful that some of the sports involve a deposit in case equipment breaks. The actual Spa thats here costs extra. Much extra.Misc: Theres also a little store on the main floor, where you can buy souvenirs, or things you forgot to pack for the trip.Overall: It was an alright experience. There were times where I was truly bored and stuck in my room watching TV for an hour or two because of the Resorts inability to offer events that didnt require money in excess of $25. Some rooms may have a nice view of the lake, while others face the roof of one side of the building and bring the experience down.
The owner is very disrespectful, the connection and service is horrible, the food is disgusting, the snack bar overcharges. Adrian does everything! Room service is slow. The spa is always closed or unavailable. Activities are bootleg and early and once you miss it it’s no alternative opportunities. The DJ stinks☹️. Adrian is the DJ and the tour guide. There is no endless buffet that is a lie. The drinks are sugar water a little lemon. The campfire is little, Smore‘s with no chocolate or graham crackers. The waitress doesn’t know what’s she’s serving. I had a serious allergic reaction to the uncooked food. A friend broke their nose in a bouncy house there is no medical assistance and little to no security! There is no Wi-Fi! Activities are limited.
First impression, not good. I drove about 40 minutes to get here to purchase a gift certificate for a spa service. After waiting about 25 minutes in the spa lobby, I finally get to the desk and the woman told me she couldnt sell me a gift certificate because the general manager had to sign off on all the certificates and he was out of the office for 1-2 hours...maybe. Really? I cant even buy a gift card? Needless to say, I was highly disappointed and turned off by the customer service. They lost a potential high ticket sale and future customer.
Place is way over priced. They have some nice floral arrangements, statues and decoration but they dont really offer any value for all the price. The beds were like boards... the pillows too small. They are competing in a market that they have no competition in the region. Get yourself a bed and breakfast. They have a derelict of a resort (RIGHT NEXT DOOR) that seems to be owned by the same company close enough for the rats to be living next door for free. The buildings are falling down, broken windows, spooky stuff. The employees were helpful and attentive but in general, they are selling something that isnt there. They need Hilton to come in and condemn it. Dont book here.
Didnt use any of their services like spa, golf course etc. I just stayed there overnight to go to a concert at bethel woods. Its about 45 min to bethel but traffic made it much longer. The shuttle made that 100% bareable though. Room was nice clean hotel was clean employees where nice etc.
This place may not be perfect but it’s a pretty fun place for your high school senior trip😄. If you come with your family avoid coming during January cause that’s when these Highschool trips happen. And Trust me these Highschool kids get wild, but it’s honestly a good time. Plenty of amenities and facilities. Love the gym and even though the basketball court is kind of ghetto, still able to get a good ball game on. Laser tag was fun, bouncy house obstacle courses super fun with freinds, pool is great and food was good too. Recommend you bring your own gaming consoles to your room caused the hotel one always hogged up. I also recommend you bring your own sports equipment like balls, rackets etc. cause if you use hotels you need to put a cash deposit. Cafe has good food and paint balling was fun. Highly recommend if ya going with ya Highschool pals, can only do this once ! Yo don’t forget about the skating and snow tubing, stuffs pretty good as well. The dance party’s are hilarious and the girls are really ratchet 😍. If they had bowling it would have been lit too! But still this thing is pretty nice, so I highly recommend ya go and enjoy ! 🤩
This place is not Resort, repeat NOT A RESORT! Checking-in was horrible - they have moved the front desk to another location then walk back where we started to get our room. This place is very inconvenience. Parking are free and there are limited space to where you can park. There are no room service, this place is old as old can be. Food is overpriced for frozen foods; not the greatest. Customer services is at the worse. There were activities that my kids wanted to do was not available even though the time stated it would; paddle boat, tennis and many other activities. We were there August 12th., 2017. Your back will hurt sleeping on their beds, no microwave, their very small fridge and freezer is placed on the floor with no stands, room is clean with fresh smell of febreze; well at least we are hoping that our sheets are clean. I highly would not recommend anyone to go here unless you have some kind of business to attain. The room are over price for the services and accommodations.
I find these reviews incredibly hard to believe. We were duped by fake Yelp ratings and bought a Groupon a year or so ago. The place was practically deserted, the bar area looked like grade school gym and the staff were pleasant, if unprofessional. Additionally, there was a security guard roaming the empty corridors at night. Maybe his name was Jack Torrence.Overlook Hotel, anyone?
This pass weekend we stayed at honors haven resort as we have done for the pass 6 yrs. We were there for our annual marriage retreat. I must say, Im not sure what happened between last year and this year, I could not believe how horrible the food and the service was. I starved during lunch and dinner. The only meal that was some what ok, was breakfast. They served us half cooked burgers, half cooked chicken, even the salad dressing was horrible, yellow mustard mixed with oil, water and black pepper!!! Really!!! They were skimpy with the fish they served for lunch on sunday folks didnt get food to eat and when I complained the management had the nerve to make excuses for the chef. The service was poor as well. Asked one of the servers for utensils and he walked over and threw them down on the table and walked away. Seems he was upset that we asked for more place settings. I was disgusted with what I recieved this weekend. You would think there would be some sense of loyalty as we have been coming there 6 yrs straight. I guess its all about the money at the end of the day. Was such a poor experience I would not think of attending there next yr. Honors haven has dumbed down the service and quality of food. But I guess that is what happens when you have arrived or so they think. Ill take my money else where. It was nice while it lasted.
The hotel, spa, and grounds are spectacular if a bit dated. But dated in an elegant way. The rooms are clean and spacious. The facilities they have are absolutely stunning. The pool was very nice. However, we were there on July 4th weekend and the parking situation leaves much to be desired. You can only park around the long, horseshoe shaped driveway or in parking lots that could have you hiking quite a distance over hill and dale to get to your room if you are in the east wing. Luckily, many people left the place on Sunday and we were able to move our vehicle closer to our room. But, still a hike. Also, they claim to have a bar but it was never open during our stay. We walked right by it without really seeing it because it was locked up tight. So we asked one of the young employees who answered oh yes we have a bar downstairs called the Zephyr Room. So we went back down to find that it was closed. No restaurant either so you will have to go into town to get anything to eat. The Nevele site next door is an amazing thing to see. What an amazing collapse of a one time great destination. LBJ had stayed there in the sixties. Now it looks like a scene out of a post apocalypse movie. The waterfall was a nice feature to see. We did a bit of a hike as they have pathways. But, be warned: they are steep and will require some effort. The midgies were brutal too. But, this was July so what can you do? We stayed there because we had tickets to CSN over at Bethel Woods. We had thought that this place was a bit closer than it turned out to be. It is about a 40 minute drive to Bethel Woods from Ellenville. But, it was better than the Motel8 in Monticello. Much better. But not cheap. And the taxes are atrocious.
Overall, my time at Honors Haven was pleasant. However, the room service was atrocious. The staff that was responsible for cleaning my room did a poor job, such as not making the bed. Even my roommate, who passed our room when the staff was cleaning, saw them laughing, even mocking the state of our room. The only reason why this place didnt earn five stars was because of the service that was provided.
Was there with my school from Queens and we had a great time weekend before last. The food wasnt like wat my moms cooks but it aint bad. Plenty of dessert like cheese cake and brownies during the meals. We had a snack bar that helped before the meals. We ate a lot. The cafe was too expensive. went to the waterfall in a group and we had fun even though it was cold. Paintball was good. We had lots to do but sometimes we just wanted to hang in the room playing video games. Jayla Alydia is right about the dj being bad but the host Adrian stepped in and made it lit. You are right about him being a great host. He really hustles. Lazertag was fun. The campfire was cool cuz it was something different and we roasted marshmallows. Adrian made it fun too. Jayla I think you crazy. My friend twisted his ankle and he went to the hospital and came back in like 2 hours. Some dumb kid from another school broke his nose when i was there. But he was acting stupid so thats why he broke his nose. I had wifi the whole time even though it gets slow sometimes. But I have a life. I dont always need my phone. Idk about the owner. Never saw him/her.
I must say Honors Haven gets better and better each year hosting our high school senior weekend trip. Booking was easy and accommodating! The rooms are clean, the beds are super comfortable, the dining options are delicious, and the staff is super friendly and excellent at what they do! Larry, Adrian and MJ of Tri-State Tours, Juanita, Cari and Maria of Honors Haven took great care of me, my seniors and fellow chaperones! We had a blast, and everyone knows how hard it is to feed and please teenagers! To future chaperones, do the offered Tai-Chi to end your trip! Youll thank me later! Thank you again, Honors Haven and Tri-State Tours! We hope to see you next year!
Not worth the money I payed, service was basura and we were treated like children instead of guest.P.S. things I payed to have full access of required another fee at the door (and for lack luster quality) ex; paying for a basketball to play on a concrete painted tennis court with broken water weight base basketball hoopsP.S.x2 half of my legs were hanging off of the small ass bedsP.S.x3 the host Adrian is a meat mouth, instead of giving us the cot we asked for he suggested me and my three roommates (men) just sleep together in the two beds provided
I personally wouldn’t recommned this resort , the pool had lots of chorine my face felt irritated so did my body the line for the pool wasn’t a line it was a bunch of people huddled up , the food wasn’t so good either no flavor in any of the food so what they do was they have a cafe where you can be actual flavor food which I found crazy because this resort was already expensive so I have to waste even more money to get some food with flavoring . The rooms were alright the pillows are very flat the heater got me and my roommates sick , the party’s were bad based of the music played it was mostly grinding music it should have been mixed with throwbacks , Latino , pop but no it wasn’t more of a grinding mix , wouldn’t recommend
Honors Resort wasn’t a Pleasant stay for me The Place is very Nice The ambiance on the outside is Beautiful but I got Bitten by Bed bugs .... The Wedding Party weren’t on the same wing we had to walk From east to west to get dressed just wasn’t arranged correctly...by their Staff ... I had to come home and wash my stuff at a laundromat not in my House because I was scared to take my clothes Home
I had birthday yesterday I booked a room in this resort for two daysIt was said that they have meals and drinks on its territory but when we arrived it turned out that it’s limited by time and we’ve missed that so we had to look for something by ourselves and we wasted time but in this area it’s really hard to find somethingthen no one showed us where we can park and where our room is so we had to look for again by ourselvesAnd when we reached our room we found out that our key doesn’t work and we had to wait again so we came in our room by 11pmThen in the morning we came for breakfast but there was nothing, no people, no food, so no one even cook somethingWe decided to go to their cafe but there were just muffins and chips so again we had to drive and find somethingTheir spa and outdoor pool don’t work (I understand that it’s virus , but they have to tell it in advance) and they can’t give any sport equipment because of the virus but I don’t think that it takes so much afford to sanitize it, there is only yoga class only for one hour (10am-11am)Now it’s like regular motel not resort but expensive
Only went there to play golf but the prices were very fair and everyone was very professional and nice. They had a league there that day but the gentleman in the pro shop worked with us and got us on the course. 4 stars because its not the best kept course but for the price its worth it!
Architectural disaster. Attentive but unprofessional staff. Had a large convention here and was disappointed by their lack of attention to detail. Walk to conference rooms is haphazard...there was a private party in one room so we had to walk outside to get to our conference room.
The coffee pot had mold in it and they didnt even clean the coffee pot that was full with coffee from the previous persons stay:(The guest service was hesitant to give extra towels when we had none since the pool area ran out of it. Wouldnt recomment this place. Took forever to talk to the manager.
I was so disappointed in Honor’s Haven and we were only there for about 18 hours for an overnight stay. PICTURES with my review referencing specific problems we had. Upon arrival, the front desk staffed gave us key cards that didn’t work. She then sent up security with us back to our rooms, and his master key cards worked fine. Going downstairs a third time, she sent up maintenance who ALSO had working key cards and said “well technology usually handles this they can come by at 9 tomorrow” but I told him we were leaving then. It took 45 minutes to get into our rooms. Gave us hard keys to use.Room was very dirty. My husband unfolded a towel to find a HAIR BALL in a clean towel. Air conditioners had water stains on them. Spider crawled out of a shower when we opened a curtain. Air conditioners had water stains and the start of mold on them. Hallway walls were thin and we heard people until 1am making noise. Clearly there were hangings on the door frames that were ripped off and no one bothered to repaint them. Sheet on our bed was ripped and there was NO top sheet, only a fitted sheet and a comforter. The food was not acceptable for the price of the resort. We picked up McDonald’s instead. The buffet would’ve been $38 but looked awful. Meats were sitting soaking in sauces, chafing dishes were not hot (I held my hand near them to see), and the room was overrun with a conference. Photos below.Check out was early for us, and the gentleman at the front desk was busy putting packets of sugar in his coffee with his back half turned to us. Didn’t ask how the stay was, printed a receipt and said to have a nice day.I wished I complained in person but could not get out of there fast enough because of time constraints on the trip. Will send a letter to management with pictures, as we paid over $700 for this experience for two rooms. Find somewhere else to stay.
The lobby & hallways to the rooms smell badly& they don’t have much air it was always too hot (summertime)The room is over pricedThe bathroom is very small so are the tubsThere isn’t enough to do as far as entertainmentThe pool is smelly & coldThe sauna is almost nice except it doesn’t have much going for itand they put way too much chlorine in the water that it hurt my nose & throatThe spa is not for free & the message has to be booked in advance for certain daysIt would be nice if they gave truly spa servicesThe gift shop was always closedThe food was average not specialIf someone doesn’t care then this would be a good place for themAll in all I won’t be coming back for awhile
Amazing People , Great Music Adrian is the man of many hats , horse back riding is the BEST . ( its not kiddish ) They Cooked alot of Starch But who cares when your having fun , Room service great . Snow Tubbing is Cool , Beautiful VEIW ! Favorite thing is the Pool . Its Soo pretty everyone is very nice . Lake is wonderful even though it was the winter. I would go back a thousand times . #CLASS of 2016 !!!!!!!! .
We came to inquire about hosting a party there. The guard wouldnt even let us past the gate! They wanted an appointment to even see what the lobby looked like. Bizarre! Another proof about why businesses in Ulster Country fail so much - who the heck is running this place.

2022-04-30I love Honors Haven. The food is very healthy but still very delicious. It is as easy for my vegetarian and vegan friends to get a good meal as for me, their carnivore friend. They do a good job of keeping hot foods hot and cool ones cool on the buffet which isnt as easy as it sounds. The dining room staff take excellent service to the highest levels. The rooms are clean with plenty of hot water and the temperature controls (heat A/C) are very responsive - not the truth at other resorts I have stayed at. The meeting rooms are spacious and accomodating. The grounds are just extraordinary. Even though we were trapped inside by a cold rain much of the weekend, we did make it up to the waterfall during a break in the bad weather. We still could appreciate the beauty of the forest land from our windows and especially the panoramic view from the dining room.

2022-04-16Honor’s Haven is a magical place. You are truly in nature’s backyard! My favorite spot is the waterfall! The retreats and classes are amazing with very high level trainers. I had my birthday party here in their tent overlooking the lake and it was beautiful!! I highly recommend this place. It has something for everyone.

2022-04-11Great staff, rooms very clean. Campfire was wonderful. Had a massage with Tony and he did a great job!Only thing not great was the food and the times the dining hall was open for breakfast-very short window.I would highly recommend just bring your own food or eat out.

2022-06-21I had a wonderful experience at Honors Haven Retreat. I did the Finding True Self workshop/retreat, and it was life changing. I really enjoyed how beautiful the location was with the waterfall and lovely paths in the woods. The room I stayed in was also very comfortable, and the meals were yummy. I highly recommend Honors Haven Retreat!

2022-05-17Unexpectedly and pleasantly surprised. Hotel is a bit dated but everything served its purpose and actually liked the food. Suggest slightly more handicap spots since I had a hard time finding one.

2022-05-16The services, staff and food was great as usual . Grounds and scenery is beautiful. The only thing is that they need to return coffee makers to the individual rooms.
