I have seamlessly booked flights for 25 years, and this is the worst experience Ive ever had. They were asked to fix a simple error and each time I called said it would be resolved in 24-48 hours. Ive called every 48 hours for three weeks and the issue hasnt been resolved. I called the airline directly as well, and the airline said it was a simple fix for the agency and yet, its still not fixed.
Id give them zero stars if possible. I even booked the insurance and it was american airlines that canceled the flight. no refund, just constant people assuring me the right department will resolve the issue in 24 hours. it has been 3 months with no refund in sight. Instead I get people call me about the refund if they manage to leave a voicemail. What do you need to talk to me for? refund the money! even calling their support number does nothing as it kicks you off the phone and texts you a link with agents that appear to be online but do NOT respond. Yes Alma, Jerica, Sarah who im sure are just bots. $546 wasted!
I bought ticket through Hop2 and tested positive for covid. The agents are very unpatient and unhelpful. They keep saying the ticket is non refundable. I call Japan Airlines (the Airlines I should have flying with) and they confirm since the ticket hasnt been used, it is fully refundable as the reason due to medical isue, positive for covid. But because I bought from travel agent, Hop2, I should get refund from them. It seems to me, my family and my friends that Hop2 is trying to keep the refund from airlines for theirselves. Update : sent email but no response from hop2.
Terrible experience. During the pandemic my girlfriend and I booked flights to Finland and Norway from the US. We noticed quarantine restrictions in Norway, so called/emailed/web chatted multiple times within 24 hours (per company policy) to edit our flights. No response. We tried repeatedly via these methods, even driving 40 min tot h airport to speak directly with the airline. No one was there. I also purchased the travel insurance protection to avoid any problem. The TI states:•Free exchange: Exchange your tickets in case of a missed flight or connection for free.•Refunding options: Well work directly with the airlines to get you compensated in case of unplanned flight cancellation or health concerns, such as sickness or hospitalization.•Premium concierge service: Take advantage of the service guaranteeing you to handle any of your requests, including arranging special meals and seats and finding the best flight options in case of reservation changes.•What Does the Travel Protection Plan Cover? Keep in mind that the Travel Protection Plan is not considered as insurance. Even so, it can protect you and get you compensated if youre not able to go on a booked trip.•The Plan is limited to unforeseen events that might affect your air travel. The list of situations subject to the Travel Protection Plan includes the following:•Flight delay•Trip cancellation or interruption due to unforeseen circumstances* or airline bankruptcy•Inability to fly due to a documented medical reason (hospitalization or sickness)•Lost or misdirected baggage•Unforeseen circumstances include but not limited to: hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, cyclones, thunderstorms, blizzards, volcanic eruptions, high winds, excessive precipitation, wildfires, and other natural disorders, or civil disorder and unrest, political instability, quarantine, aircraft maintenance problems, and security issues.My girlfriend and I went ABOVE and BEYOND to try to rectify this issue. The service was non-existent. So, we booked new flights with Finnair and cancelled the original flights. We still made the trip, but Finnair or HOP2 is requesting we pay for it twice. We proviced them evidence of the trip to the arport, screen shots of attempted contact, phone records, proof of travel insurance protection, copies of their own policies… and yet HOP2 STILL is fighting payment.Stay away from them. With service like this, and no attempts to rectify it, they will go out of business, sooner than later.(Per HOP2s response below, I have sent them all my evidence as of 4/27/22)
AVOID USING HOP2 AT ALL COSTS! While their prices may seem significantly cheaper than competitors, it is not worth the hassle that comes with it if you have to make even the slightest change. I needed to cancel a roundtrip flight that I had booked to Dublin, at the time, the Hop2 agent that I spoke with said that it would be no issue, that I would receive a credit to use in the future, but that it would have to be the same route as my previous booking. The agent also indicated that I would be charged $300.00 BY THE AIRLINE THAT THE TICKET WAS BOOKED THROUGH(Aer Lingus) to cancel the flight. Once it came time for me to rebook my flight, despite the same fare being significantly cheaper than my original flight, they wanted to charge me an additional $262.80 fee to use my credit. I asked why I was being charged this additional amount when I had already paid $300.00 to be able to use this credit, and was assured that I would not have to pay anything further by the agent when I agreed to the charge. Once again, the agent indicated that this fee was charged DIRECTLY by the airline, which was completely FALSE. At that point in time, I had already spoken to several Aer Lingus agents, all of whom said in no uncertain terms that Aer Lingus was not charging cancellation fees at the time for any tickets(due to the pandemic) and that they absolutely had not made that charge. Since then I have asked for a refund for the $300.00 charge, was told that it was non refundable, and once I indicated that I knew it was fraudulent and not at all associated with what I was told, have yet to receive a response. I will be reporting Hop2 to TICO(Ontarios travel regulator), the BBB, FTC. This seems to be a theme with Hop2 judging by other similar reviews. Save yourself the hassle and additional cost, book literally anywhere else.
Email confirmation said one date different the itinerary so I missed my flight because of it. Not one person in this organization can even say sorry or give a solution for an email confirmation with different dates than the actual flight. Customer service was maybe the worst Ive ever experienced. One hour on hold to be told the manager will call in 1-2 hours. I call 2.5 hours later to be told they cant do anything for me. Ask to speak to the manager. Back on hold just to be hung up on. Call again, on hold for an hour to again be hung up on. Called the airline and non of my information was on the reservation and they used another travel agency to book my flight. So even the airline couldnt help me. This is a scam company. I will never be using them again. After buying another flight out of pocket(love buying a flight twice) I am praying that the return flights are accurate and actually booked. Again, NEVER book with them, use someone with a little more creditability. Literally any👎👎👎👎 0/10. Worst travel experience in an already difficult time to travel. Spend you money elsewhere and be thankful to not get screwed by HOP2 the bank with you money😵😵Edit*** after more research after buyers remorse and being bent over all day by HOP2 Ive come to find that the company isnt even accredited by the BBB(better business bureau). Big time scam. STAY AWAY!!!
STAY AWAY!! Any review here thats not 1 star is likely a bot. Worst customer service Ive ever experienced. I reached out 72hrs before my flight to change it and I got the run around from support agents who told me they were working on my case. Nobody gave me any options on how to change dates seems they wanted to wait for the flight take off untill they contact me so I would have no flight to change. BBB has been contacted
HOP2 is a scam!!! Do not book with HOP2 - just like all the other comments here, I wish I would I have done further digging before choosing them. While they did issue an initial ticket to me, they quickly emailed me informing me that the airline had pulled the flight. Ever since, I have been caught between the scheduling department, the exchange department, the refund department, and a myriad of unhelpful customer service representatives.I just initiated a refund request, so we will see how that goes. I just booked my flight (I am leaving in a week btw) through a credible site and am hoping I will see my money back!DO. NOT. BOOK. WITH. HOP2. Not really sure why SkyScanner hasnt blacklisted them yet.
I was searching online pretty last minute for a flight NYC to London and everything was quite expensive. I then visited Skyscanner.com and was directed to Hop2.com (a site Id never heard of). When I clicked through a customer chat window popped up and I was connected to Ava. From the start she was incredibly friendly and helpful. She ran a bunch of searches but everything was over my budget, so she had her team conduct another search and came back 20 min later with a direct flight with Iberia / AA for $30% cheaper than the other options. It honestly seemed too good to be true, especially after reading some negative reviews about Hop2. I took a chance and booked the flight, and then waited anxiously for an airline confirmation number. Two hours later I got it and was able to see my ticket on both Iberia.com and AA.com. It was totally legit! The rep also emailed me a voucher for a free night at a hostel, which apparently was included, but I didnt use it since I already had a hotel booked in my desired neighborhood. I travel a ton and have rarely seen a little known travel agency able to deliver a much cheaper option than whats broadly available online, but here it was.BTW - I waited to post this review until after my trip, just to be sure there were no hiccups. I just got back this am, and while I had no need to use customer support or make any changes, the flights were all smooth. Will definitely use again.
If I could do a negative star I would. Hop2 is not even worthy of one star in my opinion. I purchased tickets for my sister to fly from Stockholm to Anchorage, Alaska in Feb-March 2022. She got on the plane is Stockholm and was changing planes in Amsterdam, The Netherlands when she suffered an epileptic seizure in the line waiting to check in for her flight from Amsterdam to Seattle, WA. I was called by staff at KLM, since I was her emergency contact. They informed me she would be taken to a clinic and they would contact me again. I had purchased Travel Protection so I assumed (silly me!) that Hop2 would be able to offer some assistance. Well they were less than helpful!! The medical doctor at the clinic later decided my sister should not be traveling to Seattle but return to Stockholm. She had to find her way to a hotel in Amsterdam and book a room so she could stay the required 48hrs before you can be allowed to fly after an epileptic seizure. She stayed in Amsterdam for 2 nights, and then returned to Stockholm. All the help I had expected from Hop2 was absolutely non existent. I contacted them a number of times through their website and always got sent around to their refund request page (good luck!) which did absolutely nothing. Emmet contacted me and said they needed paperwork to process the refund. I sent Emmet the paperwork. No response. Meanwhile we also contacted Delta. Delta was very quick to respond, and accepted the paperwork (that Emmet said they couldnt accept!) and processed a refund to HOP2; since thats where I purchased the tickets. This was processed on March 16th, 2022. It is today April 6th, 2022 and I STILL HAVE RECEIVED NO MONEY BACK!!!! These people are thieves and scammers. Save your money and purchase your tickets through some other company. These people will not help you at all, even when purchasing Travel Protection and when you actually have a life and death medical emergency. Shame on you, Hop2, and shame on you for training your staff to be unethical lying thieves.
Outright liars. Kenny and other staff I spoke with will not admit they are doing unauthorized and unwarranted flight schedule changes even when I already caught and discovered their fraudulent practice by calling American and Iberia airlines directly both of which said they did not make any flight changes. Please save yourself the heartache and headache of dealing with these shady people. I just filed a detailed complaint to the Federal Trade law enforcers and they deserve to be tackled with accordingly. They can run from the law but not for long anymore.
This is the most evil company I have ever worked with. They left me stranded for a week, they cost me thousands. Dear God please never use them. I used them one time before and only had a good experience, so I gave them a good review. Then I used them again, and when things get bad they will just let you bleed out and never come to your support. And when they know your phone number is calling, they know not to answer. I have never in my life come across a more blood thirsty company
School boys, this agency deserves 0 star, my ticket has been canceled, they didnt notify me, when I checked it in british company website, Ive realized, otherwise I will never know that. When I called them they said it has been canceled and there is no flight to your destination, school boys, I said I know that it has been canceled and I dont need your service anymore, this is my first and last time booking in this jungle platform. To chat with them, they tell you we need to transfer you to the right department. And once there wait, it can take up to 1 year to talk to a member of this school boys department.
This is the worst traveling agency you would want to book your tickets from!Note that I am not just saying it out of frustration. I am saying it after giving them ample time to listen to me and even try to make efforts to handle this.First thing first I was given an itinerary in which I had a layover of 3 hours at EWR and had to catch the other INTERNATIONAL flight from JFK which generally takes 1.5 hours of travel if all stars are in your favor.Now I am trying to contact them for the options I can have. All they do is put you on hold for HOURS!This latest CC representative told me can I put you on hold for 3 mins?And its been an hour and they finally hung up on me!I am taking this on twitter!
Definitely the worst customer service I’ve ever had. DON’T use them!!!!!!Everyone that I talked to was so unprofessional. I’ve literally spend hours and hours on phone with them trying to reuse a credit I had with an airline and ended up buying completely new ticket for the second time. Terrible!!! I have no words to express my disappointment!Please use another service!
I booked a trip to Greece they paid for my first 2 flights but not the 3rd one. I got all the way to Athens which is 1 flight away from my final destination chania greece and my flight was canceled. I went to the airlines desk in Athens and was told hop 2 didnt pay for my flight so it was canceled and I would have to pay for another to get there and get back to Athens. Hop 2 will not refund me my money because they say this isnt possible. So now I am out the money I gave them to book my flight in the first place and the extra I had to pay for the new flights. Worst customer service ever. DO NOT USE THEM5/24/2022 - Still no refund and its been over a month since this incident occurred.
Don’t trust or buy anything related to Flight Ticket you will be scammed HOP2 is Hopeless the so irrational you will never gonna get answer for your money, the scammed me $3000 on the ticket that I book from them, never and ever book a flight from hop2. Take my Advice, I will make sure I call Skyscanner to too and I will not stop to talk about them. HOP2 I will the could be blacklisted
That customer service doesnt exist, its just RIDICULOUS! Its impossible to talk to them, when you call they redirect you to the live chat, where the agents dont know how to solve your problem, then they recommend you to fill a form on the website that they supposedly should return in 24 hours what doesnt happen of course. Wondering if someone here was even able to talk to them.
Do not Book with this company, I just got off the phone with them. They canceled my flight without me knowing. I called to ask for a question and found out that they canceled my flight without any notice. I called and they keep transferring me to every department and I ask to speak with the supervisor and they hang up on me.Never again.
This company is fraud company. they are cheating me. they just hide orginal airline name, they just covered. and after paying, original airline shows. About this concern, I try to contact to customer center, they just told, It is skyteam member, they operate together, so this is not matter.They cheating, not honest, unfaithful...I dont know they have trust.
STAY AWAY AND DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! Worst customer service experience Ive ever had in my life. Very unprofessional, rude, and they care nothing about customer service experience, they will argue and raise their voice at you and fight about whos wrong and whos right, they were belittling and made me call the airlines because they were saying that this was not the case (below) so we did a conference call with the airline booked and they told hop2 what I spent over 8 hours on multiple calls trying to explain to them and they will not fix their mistakes that they caused on my flight. I booked a roundtrip flight to Cancun from Salt Lake City with a connecting flight in Denver with an 1hour and 38 minute layover. They never disclosed in any of the documents that they were booking one way flights from Salt Lake to Denver and Denver to Cancun with 2 completely different bookings on my departure and my returning flights. With them booking in this way I would have to self transfer my checked bags claim my baggage and have to re check my bags one in Denver and go through TSA AGAIN. Which I would 100% miss my flight if I were to do that because that is not nearly enough time to jump through that many hoops on an international flight. They said it was a glitch in the system and are saying they have no clue why it was booked like this and that technology is to blame. But the customer apparently has to pay for their incompetence which is totally unacceptable. Ive never dealt with anything like this while booking a roundtrip. Save the headache and countless hours on the phone trying to explain a simple situation that they caused.
Fraud and scam. This is not a legitimate third party of an agent for airlines ticket. The reason one star is to be able to posted this messages to everyone who are able to read and stop using this company. Karma is going to bite them soon enough I just experiences it today
Bought tickets from them through Skyscanner. My trip got cancelled because of the pandemic and I know the airline was offering refunds because I spoke to them directly about a refund. However, because I bought my ticket through Hop2, I had to go through them for the refund. When I emailed them about the refund, they told me the airline said I wasn’t eligible for a refund, which I know that isn’t the case. Instead, they give me a credit to use before December 2021, but travel is still limited due to the pandemic, you can never get a hold of their agents to use the credit, and they charge fees to use the credit. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DON’T PURCHASE TICKETS THROUGH HOP2!
Finally got a response after giving one star on google reviews. Fantastic!!I had raised a request for refund on 8th Nov, since the airlines cancelled my flight due to Covid. I have been struggling to contact your so-called highly responsive and supportive customer care team. They hung up calls, live chat is even more horrendous with generic replies.I asked for a refund on 8th Nov, but your so called agent did not raise a ticket then. I contacted again, Later a different agent then finally raised a ticket on 24th Nov.I believe Ill get a response from you guys but I dont think I will ever get one! But fret not I have already raised a complaint with the DOT department :)I have learned a lesson the hard way. Henceforth, never gonna buy tickets from third party vendors! especially from this site. Terrible Terrible Service.Update: It took a lot of efforts from my side to receive that refund. I mean I need to put a bad review first, then raise a complaint with the DOT and other forums where customers share, for their redressal. Thats hella lot of work which could have been avoided if these guys had shared a simple email stating I will receive the refund. Still not gonna change my rating :)
I have worst and frustrating experience in rebooking the cancelled flight. I am following up for more than a week and waiting for hours on call to connect to rebook my ticket. I may be loosing my thousands of dollar since Hop2 is not able to resolve my issue on time and my voucher is expiring in Dec 2021. I got less than one year of refund voucher after flight cancellation during pandemic while airline provides one year of voucher. I am regretting booking flight with Hop2.
In November my cousin booked international ticket for emergency through hop2 .They mentioned wrong timings in ticket due to wrong timing we missed my flight we canceled the ticket ,we will not stop my travel that time due to emergency We booked another ticket it charged $2000 because of this we losses $3000 bucks but they mentioned will get refund within 15business days still i am checking with them they are delaying and not responding .Still We didn’t received any refund back. Whenever we called them still we processing mentioning Customer service very bad bad.I am very disappointed.PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH HOP2
On two occasions, I tried booking flight tickets from their website because their prices seemed to be the best out of ones I saw online. After submitting my order, I get an email saying that it is currently processing.Fast forward a few hours trying to deal with their customer service over the phone, they insist that the prices have increased quite a bit, much more so than the market average at the time.Rather than them contact me directly about the change in price, I am forced to wait a few hours over the phone to hear about this. Very disappointed with the service.
The Hop2 Travel customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. My flight is tomorrow night and they did anything. I have several flights scheduled and they are not at all where I want to go. So I have missed my flight because I have no tickets and I cant see my family for the Christmas holiday
I bought a ticket last year from Hop2 bcz of COVID and travel restrictions it’s got canceled so Hop2 charge me 400 hundred dollars for no reason to just issue a credit. Since than I’ll try to re book my tickets I try toCall them but every time I call it’s a different story with these scammers they have my enough credit to issue a ticket with same airline with same destination even though it’s cheaper tickets what I have credit for but they still try to charge more money for tickets so when I confront then they stop taking my calls or not responding my email so Preparartion to take them to the court to get my money back from these scammers so please take my advice do not give tour business to these scammers also so many people got scammed by this Campany you can check all the bad reviews they have when intake this matter to court I will update you guys thanks
I naively booked flights to Turkey with hop2 which I now understand to be fraudulent and SCAM company!!!Ive received my booking confirmation (but no e-tickets), and when inputting my reference into the airline site, I receive the error message booking does not exist - it may have been cancelled. I called multiple time to confirm my ticket but Every time I called they hold my call and never call back! FYI Hop2 canceled my flights 6 days before my TRIP!!!!WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER! PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
I wish I could give Hop2 a zero star. Please don’t ever use this site ever. They are awful. They screwed my tickets so badly that I had to call them for two weeks stay on line for forty minutes average to speak to someone and would give up or call back over and over. Even with all of that I did not know if I were actually leaving on the assigned date. I took a chance and went to the airport and it took three people from American airline and another $450 to fix Hop2 mistakes. So do yourself a favor and do not use this travel service. Never Ever
SCAM!! DONT BOOK WITH HOP2!!These guys mixed the details of the card payer and persons ticket to make it look like you made a mistake, then ask for 150$ to change it.Because they have a strict no refunds (great sign of a quality buisness btw) I was dumb enough to pay it and then they come looking for more money about a week later. Proof in emails is all below.DONT BOOK WITH HOP2, there good reviews are automated and everyone that works there is a pig.
I would Never use them again.I booked a return flight overseas early this year. After realizing I needed to spend more time at my destination due to a parents hospitalization I requested a change in my return and their customer service advised me there is a fee for change of date = $300 which I agreed to pay, and was given a flight out one week later. Upon checking in to my flight the following week, discovered that the rescheduled flight never had me listed; my original flight was still showing but with my status saying cancelled. Left stranded overseas, had to pay a whole new ticket express price to be able to return home. Hop2 denies having made the reschedule despite emails to & fro. .Still fighting for my refund. Been 3 months already. What a scam operation!
Hop2 has to be the worst site in the world to book flights. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!!!!! A complete scam. I didnt find out my flight got cancelled until I drove 3 hours to the airport Hop2 kept me on hold for over an hour then hung up on me. British airways was able to book me on the next flight. The nightmare doesnt end, on my way back flight got cancelled again, Hop2 offered to put me on the next flight for a total $3000 usd!!!!! And said they would work on getting a refund when I reached home. They will not take my calls or respond to my email.
THIS COMPANY IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!!I wish I read all these reviews prior to booking with them. My husband booked another flight through HOP2 due to a mistake made at the airport for his original flight. We found an affordable flight after loosing out on $1200 the previous night.They never confirmed the booking but kept the booking pending for 72 hours. My husband received confirmation from the airline but nothing from HOP2. WE had to chase down the company after we realised that they never took the funds from our bank however we received a confirmation from Delta. One of their agents instead of assisting with the booking we had, he kept insisting on a new flight. We declined and asked for the one we booked for and for the price we booked it at. He went silent and didnt respond.We then contacted the airline and found out that they got everything they need and that my husband was on the flight. We then called HOP2 back the agent said the price for the ticket went up and was no longer the price we originally paid for. So we either had to pay the new price OR get another flight for a different day. Well my husband has to leave by Saturday they couldnt understand that and instead kept insisting for a new flight or we pay the new higher fee. Even after speaking to the supervisor whose only response was well it is what it is you pay for the new flight price or we look for a new flight. I was furious. We were paying for a mistake that wasnt ours. We did not hack into the system and choose a cheaper price. And instead of their website redirecting us to the new price, we ordered the tickets on the price HOP2 WEBSITE LISTED IT AS!!!!! Yet they claim and keep claiming that it wasnt their mistake and they couldnt pay the difference or even give any incentive to change their mistake.I am very disappointed as I have dealt with other travel agencies and when they have made mistakes like this there was always an apology AND some sort of reparation. HOP2 will never receive another dime from my family or even extended family. I will make sure no one I know will ever use this company or they will be expecting some disaster to occur and to have agents who just shrug and say oh well
We booked a flight to Europe last year which had to be canceled because of Covid. Despite countless contacts, we have spent the last couple months unsuccessfully trying to rebook another flight now that Europe is open to us!!!For a company that advertises exceptional customer service...this is totally unacceptable!We are still trying and will NOT give up!We will keep you posted!
I don’t have words to express my frustration. I am trying to connect with customer service since last week regarding my ticket. But no reply at all from any side.I can understand why people are giving them 1 star from last 6 monthsI think it was one of my biggest mistakes to book this ticket, they already charged me 200$ to extend the ticket.
Hop2 failed to communicate flight cancelation and had us just sitting in Chicago OHara Airport giving us only one option to leave the next day and offered no accommodations, on our departure. Kept us on hold for 4 hours! We had to plead with American airlines reps to help us because they kept throwing us in the call loop. On the return flight they also canceled our flight the night before (8 hours) leaving us stranded in Cairo with the only option of a 2 day delay...we had no where else to go and covid tests would have been expired! We had to pay out of pocket for a new flight back to United States! We had to beg and plead with them to get their representatives to not place us on a call back and stay on the line with us. It was the worst travel experience I have EVER had! Please do not book with them, or if you do be prepared for chaos, confusion, and to pay for your trip twice.
Worst flight booking experience I have ever had. My flight booking got completely changed for some weird reason when I received the booking confirmation email from them. After contacting them, the first representative obviously did not know what he was doing. In addition to this, I got charged a cancellation fee not even past 24 hours. This is ridiculous! Use their service with caution, it will save you time, effort and avoid frustration.
Absolutely worst travel agency. Booked a flight from Austin to India and had to cancel it due to Covid-19 situation on India. Although Airlines issued full refund on our tickets, Hop2 people tried to charge $600 as a cancellation fee from airlines. we called them regarding the cancellation charge and spoke to 3 different representatives, each representative gave us different cancellation charges. one said $300 per ticket and then $225 per ticket and then $150. the last representative(Helen) we spoke to was very rude and unprofessional she charged us $200 per ticket, even after we mentioned that one of their representatives agreed to do it for $150. Worst experience ever.
The deal may seem to good to be true and thats the truth. I booked with them back in May for a trip in July, but due to a travel ban my flight had to be cancelled. I was promised a full refund, but the agent wanted to charge me a 100$. I still dont have my refund and the customer service is horrible. All they do is tell me that someone will reach out to me. NO ONE does and now the email to the Agent that was handling my refund is no longer active. Its been a nightmare and still is.
DO NOT USE THIS SITE.UPDATE: I reached out the the alias Hop2 included in their response to my original review. They never followed up. Not only do they not care about you, but when they pretend to, they dont even follow up. DEFINITELY DO NOT USE THIS SITE.I wish I would have read the reviews. Instead I was sold into a deal that was too good to be true. Unfortunately, I’m learning the hard way that it actually was too good to be true. Given the global pandemic and the travel ban, I had to cancel my flight. Rather than getting a refund like all of the airlines are doing, the customer support rep said that “due to airline policy”, my tickets didn’t meet the criteria for a full refund. When I asked them to provide the link so I could see it for myself, no one was able to provide me with an answer. Very suspicious. In addition, they pressured me into cancelling my flight early, telling me if I waited until day of, I would lose out on my entire ticket. So instead, I took the bait and cancelled early so that I could at least receive a voucher. The only problem is, I can only use the voucher for the same airline, the same flight, and I have to use it before the end of the year. I can understand how in a NORMAL year, I couldn’t get a refund. However, given the pandemic is completely out of my control, I now lose out on $2,500 and Hop2 doesn’t even care because they still made money off of me. Disgusting. SAVE YOURSELF
NO RESPONSE!!!!! I bought tickets to Turkey but had to cancel and turned them to e-credits during pandemic in order to rebook a flight. I tried to rebook a flight 5 months ago and I couldn’t reach anyone 48 hours. I e-mailed and waited for weeks again no response! I had to buy new tickets. Today I tried calling and e mail to rebook a flight. Again there is no response. I have e-credit but I cannot use it !!!!!! NO RESPONSE!!!!!!
Worst agency to book any travel.I booked flight worth of 800$and flight got cancelled from airlines side and i am eligible for full refund. And its been more than 1 year they didnt gave refund. And everyweek i call the agency they repeat the damn story that refund is pending from airline side.Nobody is taking about solution.
I booked the flight from Hop2, and I got an email from KLM that flight got cancelled and we rescheduled to some other day. Which is not convenient to me to travel. I cald to KLM they said if you booked thru agent please contact them and for refund or change of flight. I am keep on trying to call and msgs in chat and emailed but I dint get any update so far. I dint get any response from your end.This is not the correct way to behave with customer. I am travelling on feb 3rd 2022. please respond me asap to fix this issue. From your side I contacted 2-4 persons. they said with in 2days from our end we will reach you to sort it out the problem. Its been more than 3 weeks no one cald or emailed.
The worst travel agency.They would put you on hold for hours if they get to know that you would be asking for refund. I was assigned to an agent by the name, Donna. If any other agent would pick the call, they would transfer it to Dona and she would simply put you on hold for hours. It’s been two days I have cancelled my flight by calling the airlines directly and that too within 48 hours. Now they are refusing to come on the phone. It I am trying to get hold of them and they are not entertaining. Please stay away from this agency and don’t get carried away by their prices.
Terrible Terrible!! Booked a flight with them, got stranded in a different country becasue somehow my flight got canceled, the company never took effor to find me a new flight, I was with kids ended up telling them to just refund me and ill buy different flight right at airport, they agreed but i never received a refund, All they say is wait wait and has been over a month now still no refund Nothing!! Do not use they will not care for u all they care is for u to buy tickets through them and who knows i had a confirmation number everything but showed up at airport turns out i have no flight, Super Terrible!!! WORST customer service I have ever experienced. We booked a flight and due to COVID are trying to cancel our travel plans. They are charging us HALF the value of the ticket to cancel when our flights are unusable because of the global pandemic we are currently in the midst of. I have tried calling to speak to a manager and have been transferred and hung up on, told I’d receive a call in 24-72 hours with no word well after that time, etc. DO NOT use this company ever, unless you want to waste countless hours of your life arguing with their absolutely deplorable customer service reps to get no where at all and be completely screwed over.
I found a great deal for the flights NYC-Paris on Hop2 (Hop2 offered a British Airlines flight for $335, while the price at the official British Airlines website was around $600). I booked the ticket, however, shortly (within 3 hours) after the purchase I realized that I wont be able to travel. I called Hop2 customer service asking for cancellation. Customer representative Sophie was super nice and helped me to cancel my request with no problems . I received the cancellation confirmation 10 minutes after I spoke with Sophie. I read bad reviews about the customer service, but from my experience the customer service team was great and answered my call immediately, even though I called at 12.30 am

(There is at no point any way to input any kind of information during the hold process so there’s really no way for them to have logged anything specifically.) We have been trying for a month passively, and the last week aggressively regarding our flights. BOTH United Airlines and ANA have confirmed that, because of when we booked and our planned travel dates, we are eligible to have our flights refunded or exchanged without any penalties or fees. Unfortunately neither airline can actually help us with this process because we booked through Hop2 and any refund/exchange has to be processed through them. Understandable, but incredibly infuriating when it is literally impossible to reach anyone at Hop2. We did receive an email stating that if we don’t check into our flight tomorrow we wouldn’t be eligible for a change or refund, but again the contact info left by this person was all dead-ends, and they have yet to address any of the change forms that we’ve filled out. There is absolutely no customer service. We are definitely reporting this to the BBB.

It is unlike previous reviews that this place is a scam since I bought tickets from this agency and got on the plane a few days later. However, my return flight was cancelled and the travel agents try to coerce me into paying them hundreds of dollars to change the flight. This is ridiculous considering that I am not at fault when the flight is cancelled. However, when I called United Airlines and gave them my confirmation code, they were able to allow me to change the flight for FREE even though I bought tickets from this agency instead of united website. So I dont understand the disconnect of change fees between the airline vs. this place.
After three weeks of struggle I am editing my review. After three weeks, these people said airlines did not confirm my ticket. they dont have seats available. I have attached the screenshots. I never asked for schedule change. They sent me an email twice regarding schedule change and I have accepted the changes both time. They have my money but they havent issued the ticket. There is guy name RUPERT, he sent me an email in the beginning that he is working on my concern. But after that I sent him so many emails. He is not even responding to my emails. My fly date is coming closer and closer but these people not helping me. When I called customer service, I hold phone for 1.5 hrs and no response. When I call regular customer care, they just transfer to schedule change and again just holding phone for an hour and no response. Guys, I really have to travel to attend my brothers wedding. But now at last moments, tickets are 3 times more expensive than what I have paid to you. This is not done.President of HOP2 Brent Stewart, please read again your NOTE on your HOP2 website. Is your company seriously working as you have mentioned in your notes??
ABSOLUTELY THE WORST! Bought a ticket for my trip overseas. On the layover lag I was OFFLOADED even though I had a confirmed ticket in my hand. HOP2 kept saying they are resolving but the airline insisted they had no such confirmation. I was left STRANDED at the second airport with no way out except to cancel the rest of my travel, pay another seat to return home. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND these thieves to anyone!!
SCAM OPERATION- BUYER BEWARE! They charged me $300 for rescheduling then RE-SOLD my original seat to someone else (happened during the pandemic when there are limited international flights and each is full) Later, they denied it saying the never did the rescheduling request and some 3rd party must have scammed you. How can that be when their phone number, & airline directed call was one & the same? This is a SCAM they are running! I was left stranded in a foreign country without a return ticket, or recourse to anything at all from them.. Waited a week for them to make good their mistake. then realized what was happening was really a SCAM operation. Had to finally buy an express ticket out of pocket from somewhere else at a premium high price to be able to return home. I will be sure to let BBB know and also lodge my file with the state attorney general. Such shady businesses should be reported to the authorities & not allowed to operate further.
TWICE!!! My flights showed one thing on the ticket, but the actual flight was something else! The first time one flight was going to leave before I even arrived. They did change that (like oh wow thank you so much for fixing your mistake) moved on and said fine, the night before when checking in on another ticket, a different flight for my wife and son was showing TWO different times for two of her flights that were different times than what was showing on the itinerary. I called there support line and the rep said word for word This is why we suggest for customers to book directly with the airline.... well at least they are blunt when saying to not book from them again.

They have taken complete advantage of the Covid -19 pandemic and refused to reimburse said customers who purchased airline tickets via their agency.Dyson, a representative of HOP 2 strung me along right up until our departure date, claiming a complete refund, and/or a rebooking without penalty. I received neither and currently have paid HOP 2 over $2200.00 in tickets, cancellation fees, and rebooking fees.Interestingly, HOP2’s representative Dyson, will not respond to my multiple emails, nor take my phone calls.I have filed a claim via my CC as well as the BBB.Again, please be cautious, suspicious, and wary of HOP 2!
I know due to Covid-19 there are going to be problems because of heavy traffic, but my experience was terrible. 3 weeks after writing the email about how I wanted to change the flight, I got a phone call thats the only good part of the story which is actually getting a phone call. The person on the line was absolutely unhelpful. When I ask him about the airline, he was talking like he had no idea what I was talking about, and after telling me that they will call back after getting more info, they are still not calling me back. Probably wont use their service after this whole situation. If the person who called was not that bad, I would be a bit remorseful. But my experience with CS was awful.
This is the most worst company!!!😤🤬So, I was planning to go to Ukraine, booked the tickets, but two weeks ahead I broke my hip. I hoped that I will be able to fly, but not. When I was canceling my booking they said that the money will be on my account and I can use them for next reservation. I called several times to get the confirmation email about my cancelation and - NOTHING! Yesterday, I got the bank statement and saw that HOP2 charged me for cancelation fee.People, they are big liers!!! Right now, only what I have -1000$ on my pocket. Dont trust this company!!
My connecting flights airline notified me of a time change which interfered with my first flight. I called hop2s customer service TWICE in the span of over a week to get alternative flight options and was told to wait and Id hear back in 24-48 hours. I heard nothing from a Hop2 representative. I called just now to cancel my flight altogether, and the person I spoke to was the most unprofessional and untrained call center employee I ever met. There were heavy winds in the background noise and he was putting himself on mute every 5 seconds without informing me. He then hung up on me without even confirming whether he submitted a refund request; here I am now, waiting to speak to another representative after an hour and a half of trying to get my situation figured out. If you want to investigate this, please contact me. If you really record all calls for quality assurance, then PLEASE investigate this complaint. And I thought Expedia was bad; at this point, I will never reuse nor recommend your service to anyone else.

They told me the airline only give half refund. As they told me due to my tickets were sold with some restrictions as the reason,so the airline didnt give the full refund. HOWEVER, IT WAS NOT TRUTH!!!!AFTER FEW MONTHS back and forth, THE AIRLINE REPLIED ME THEY MADE THE FULL REFUND. Hop2 so far only refund me half price of ticket. THE ORIGINAL PRICE WAS 1192.78 ,THEY ONLY REFUND ME 566.95.A real liar. Never never never trust the company.
SCAM! I bought tickets from Hop2 through SkyScanner thinking I was booking with ANA (Japan Airlines). After payment, I received a confirmation email saying I booked with American Airlines instead! This was booked on the same day when news came out that there was a huge covid-19 outbreak with AA! I demanded a refund and customer service complied with boilerplate response of 2-4 weeks refund time. I contested it and spoke to their rep on Facebook. The person there said I will received my refund within 3-5 business days. I havent received anything yet and when I asked for a confirmation email to officiate their promise, I was completely ghosted by both channels (on their FaceBook & Online Chat) ... oh and if you were wondering, their hotline doesnt let you go through. THEYRE OPERATING A SCAM DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME FOR MANY PEOPLE THAT JUST WANT A WAY BACK TO THEIR HOME COUNTRY. THEYRE A SHAMEFUL COMPANY
Appalling customer service. Hop2 changed my flight without informing me, I found out by logging into the airline. Then on contacting them they cancelled the flight despite my request to reschedule it. Extremely stressful experience trying to deal with them by phone, email and chat. I will never use this company again due to the non-existent customer service I have received from them.
The worst travel agency I have ever dealt with. The are not helping me get a deserved refund from the airline which cancelled my return flight. It will cost me around $50 dollars to file a small case court in New York but I have no other choice because these people are not helping me at all despite waiting for at least 4 months and contacting them weekly.
Absolute nightmare. Possible scam/fraud!!!1) Return flight got cancelled and they didnt notify me. Didnt try to refund or rebook. Found out a day before I had to fly out.2) I couldnt get ANYONE on the phone and chat. I tried 3 different numbers; 1 finally went through but he transferred me after answering a few questions (didnt resolve any issue) and I waited 40 minutes then got hung up.3) No resolution. Hop2 is the worst! They’re a SCAM! They will sell you a flight ticket and then purposely take your name off the list of passengers. Leaving you stranded after you’ve paid for your fare in full. They lied and said the flight was cancelled but when we contacted the airline they communicated to us that the flight was not cancelled and that the names were taken off. Please DO NOT buy a flight ticket from them! BEWARE
I booked a flight to Brazil using their service, I paid $921.00, the AIRLINE cancelled my return flight, due the covid, my departure is not until November, I am trying to either get a refund or the cancel portion rebooked, and I was told by them that I have to pay extra 150.00 for cancellation and they will only refund PART of my flight in 4-5 WEEKS, I called the airline and they said it can be rebooked but has to be through the 3rd part vendor. And HOP 2 is refusing to help me! What in the hell!!!??? Please dont book ANYTHING through them. It is a SCAM
Finnair cancelled my flight to London less than a week in advance and hunter from this agency helped me find a replacement flight, within the same price range for the next day. He also helped me get my refund from the airline and I was given a voucher for my next planned travel. Thanks a lot Hunter and Hop2 for helping me during this period of uncertainty and stress!
STAY AWAY!!! Nothing but problems with them. They have no acception during covid times and will take more money with every single move you make. They did not indicate the amount was in another currency and charged us 135 EACH passenger to refund our tickets because of covid. Then acts like they are doing us a favour by sending vouchers for our next flight. Every airplane company is offering refunds because of covid. When we first bought the tickets they messed up the information on the tickets and we had to contact them. Not the way to run a business during covid when the government is forcing you to cancel plans and trips. Best to buy from the actual plane companies because they have better refund policies. ALSO it says the company is based in New York but you get charged from San Jose
Writing this review as a nervous person who just finished reading these reviews and who just booked a flight through them a few hours ago. I currently have records of everything. I will continue to monitor within the next few weeks and months to make sure everything runs smoothly and nothing happens to my flight. The customer service online was good but I cannot speak for the telephone service as I did not have communication with them as of yet. A couple of other friends also booked the same flight Cheap O Air and it seems they were already charged for their flight there. Cant help but feel nervous about this but I will definitely come back and update this review if it all goes well!
Butch, was the representative that helped me fix and update my flight itinerary and they made it a very smooth and efficient process. They responded to my emails in a timely & professional manner, which boosted my confidence in getting my issue resolved. My Visa wasnt going to be ready in time and they eased my worries greatly.Do recommend.
Terrible site! I booked a flight on Friday night, woke up to an email on Saturday saying they found a cheaper flight( with Alitalia - $45 less than what I booked with JetBlue) I declined the offer and said I want to stick with my original booking. They charged my credit card Saturday night and sent me a reservation of a completely different flight for almost $1,000 more than what I booked on Friday. I called immediately and they said they will cancel my flight and I have to wait for the refund to process and find a new fight. They did not offer any accommodation or help booking a new flight for the original price. Completely unacceptable and poor customer service. Still waiting to hear from a supervisor to fix this mess.Update: I went to Expedia and booked the same original flight. This site tried to charge $1,000 more without my authorization and without notifying me. I still have to wait 3-5 business days to get refunded but, at least I was able to go to a creditable website and follow through with a proper booking. DO NOT TRUST THIS SITE!
Literally all what ppl describing here is true! This agency is SCAM. I got my flight cancelled by airline and HOP2 told me I have to pay $900 now to reschedule and then it went down to $400. I called airline and they told me that tickets should be rescheduled for free as it is their fault, but I need to contact HOP2 for that. As I was flying for surgery I had no choice, so I send an email to HOP2 that I will now have to go with this $400 option, but still have questions about what will happen if flight canceled again. HOP2 didnt respond and then I send another email asking fro response. Then next day airline themself updated my cancelled flights and I felt very good that now I can be good and fly for my surgery, BUT THEN HOP2 AGENT CALLED ME AND TOLD ME HE CHARGED MY CARD $400 !!!!!! AND CHANGED MY FLIGHT DATES!!!! SO WITHOUT CHECKING AND CONFIRMING WITH ME, WITHOUT ANSWERING MY EMAILS AND WITHOUT VERIFYING THAT MY FLIGHT IS NOW GOOD THEY JUST WENT AHEAD AND CHARGED MY CARD AND CHANGED MY FLIGHT DATES!!!!!IT IS REAL SCAM! I called the call center for a complicated multi-city flights for which I got no good response searching online, and hop2 found great flights that were amazingly cheap to boot.This is the second time Im amazed at hop2s service. The first time I booked a flight online with them after a search engine redirected me there because they had the best price for a transatlantic flight. To my great surprise, they contacted me a day later to say they found a flight with one less connection that was cheaper to boot. I couldnt quite believe it - an online service where someone (or some algorithm) checks to find a better flight even though Ive already booked and paid? I was so positively surprised that I decided I would use them from now on...
DO NOT TRUST THIS SHADY COMPANY. 20 minutes after I booked a flight from Hop2 I received a call from one of their reps asking if I filled out their payment verification form yet. I checked my email and and the form was sent to me just a few minutes prior to the call. So unnecessary. Also, the form was sent to my spam folder so I think that says something.I questioned the rep about it because I have NEVER had a booking agency do this. She gave a useless reply then asked if I filled out the form yet. Very repetitively and aggressively. Do you see the form? Did you fill it out yet? Can you please fill out the form? Have you filled out the form? Whats with the rush??!!! I hung up on her and cancelled my credit card.The next day, I discovered an email telling me that my payment for the ticket was declined. I then saw another email from a rep asking if I entered a different payment method yet. Again, why are you so pushy about this?? I grilled the rep and she explained that if a customer does not fill out the payment verification form within a certain time frame, they call their bank to confirm it directly. SO WHY DO I HAVE TO FILL OUT THAT STUPID FORM IF YOU ARE GOING TO CONFIRM MY PAYMENT DIRECTLY ANYWAY? WHY ARE YOU SO PUSHY ABOUT IT??? YOU ARE A SCAM AND YOU KNOW IT. YOUR GOOD REVIEWS ON THE INTERNET ARE CLEARLY FAKE AND PAID FOR.
Im unable to get any response from hop2 re: my canceled flights. i submitted a request online based on their policy a month ago with no response to date. i now cannot submit a request online as my booking code is coming up as invalid. ive tried calling, emailing, online chat and i am just ignored. would recommend booking directly through the carrier or finding another agency to work with. this has been a really frustrating experience.
Wouldn’t know what customer service was if their life depended on it! Absolute nightmare to deal with, I kept on getting passed from one call agent to another trying to confirm a booking.Ended up being directed to hop2 through skyscanner which is normally straight forward and easy to book/confirm with. However in dealing with hop2, I definitely wouldn’t recommend. STAY AWAY
I found a good deal to Egypt using Skyscanner app via hop2. The deal was way less than other sites. I took my trip back and fourth to the USA with no issues at all. I was a bit worried about some bad reviews on here. But from my personal experience ,this company is not bad at all and their customer service is very nice an helpful.
I had an absolutely wonderful customer service experience today with hop2! I had ordered three flight tickets from Sacramento, CA to Europe and the birth dates had inadvertently been assigned to the wrong individuals. Danika, the hop2 representative, immediately remedied the problem! She was very professional and extremely helpful! She resolved the matter so quickly and patiently! I highly recommend this company!!
This people are fraud. Airline doesn’t charge for cancelation due to covid. They’re giving all sort of excuse that I won’t get my refund. I was connected to an agent name Vicky, I have contacted her multiple times, send text, email but she never respond. So unprofessional. Stay away from these people.
BEWARE - Fraudulent Organization!Hop2 insisted I pay full price for a canceled flight and offered no substitute/compensation. I filed a service dispute with my bank and they deemed I didnt need to pay. Hop2 then emails me arguing my bank dispute was invalid and threatened to take me to small claims court.Avoid the headache and book directly with the airlines or another organization.
Kora was most helpful in booking an unusual child ticket on last minutes fare availability. I was really impressed with the service and Hop2 is now my go-to agency for airline tickets. And if the original experience wasnt positive enough, Kora then called back with 2 more ticketing options on the same carrier and flights (higher class of cabin service and a lower price). I was left speechless. Talk about good old-fashioned customer care and service. What a dramatically positive experience compared to trying to deal with the airline directly the day before. Thank you!
Worst travel agent ever. Never responds to any inquiries and hosting the refund in hostage. Airline clearly issue 100% refund because the flight is canceled and this agent is charging fee to “help” to Cancel the ticket . Never ever book any air tickets with this agent.
I had a great experience booking flights through Hop2. Actually, I was having difficulties booking online, therefore, I had to call Hop2 to see if I could get help. I certainly received assistance and more. The representative that helped me was Kora. She was very kind to me and very knowledgeable. She helped with booking my flights, the trip protection and also the seating. I’m glad I called Hop2 and Kora was the person to assist me. She made sure everything was correct and that there were no errors before she finalized my trip. Thank you Kora and it was a pleasure to do business with you!
Hop2 staff, notably Adam, went out of their way to help me with a very pressing issue. They contacted an airline that had switched my booking through some really tough channels and kept me updated with specific information and options throughout. Correspondence was so quick and smooth, and they were always very courteous. They immediately contacted me about the flight change and helped me fix a very inconvenient situation. Not to mention that I had found the right booking with them after exhausting many other options. I highly recommend them for travel bookings.
I had made reservations to visit family in Europe, but had to move the travel date because of a family emergency. I reached out to Hop2 support and Juliet took my case. She was professional, efficient and understanding. While I couldnt get a full refund for the original reservation, Juliet helped me cancel the original reservation, get as much back as I could, and make a new reservation When I ran into trouble with the new reservation, she quickly fixed the problem and set everything right. She was very responsive and Im grateful for her help!
My flight was cancelled and HOP2 didnt send email about it because i found it on my own. They refuse to give my money back and they dont even find a way to help me book another flight. They also charge me 100 dollars without my permission for proccessing my refund even if there is no service happened, they just took money from my account, DO NOT EVER BOOK A FLIGHT IN HOP2, THEY ARE SCAMMERS!
Absolutely irresponsible organization! They will up charge you for every move you do and use your credit card without permission, refuse to accept mistakes they make. Save yourself time and buy directly from the airline. That difference you could potentially save with them in 90% of the time will play against you. Not right to run business this way, especially during COVID times. Never again!

On 1st of June, I called the airline to be sure that everything was ok, and they told me that my flight was canceled on 11Th May , but the HOP2 dis sent me any email.I contact HOP2 and they did not help me at all, in addition when I requested to speak with the manager they put down the call .I did not recommend you to make reservation with them !!
So far so good!!I booked an international flight and there was a change in the domestic flight that will get me a very long connection, Adam from Hop2 (very helpful) worked to change the international flight to keep things smooth to avoid that long connection .I am still about 3 months ahead of my trip, I will update you guys with my complete experience with also after the trip
I had planned a wonderful trip to Hamburg Germany, this is my first time going and I was really excited. All my tickets have been paid for and they were broken down by different airlines.United leaving from Fort Lauderdale Airport to Newark Airport at 10:10 am arriving at 1 p.m.I had another connecting flight leaving at 5:50 p.m. and arriving in Hamburg at 9 in the morning.United delayed my flight three times leaving five hours later, arriving just in time for me to miss my connecting flight.United refused to help me in anyway but this company stayed on the line with me until we found a connecting flight leaving out of JFK Airport.I cant rave about the service enough they are awesome! Kora, awesome!. I cant thank her enough and this company for getting me to my original destination so I can enjoy my vacation.
DO NOT MAKE BUSINESS WITH HOP2!Horrible customer service and they dont deliver what they actually offer. Since I didnt check my email for ONE day after they sent the itinerary and I downloaded it to my computer, they cancelled my flight! Then they offered me the flight again that was $700 more than it originally was. They said they took away my reservation because the phone number I provided was invalid, which was a complete lie. And even when I tried to prove it to them they still wouldnt give me back my reservation. So if you want to get your hopes up thinking youre going on vacation but in reality they cancel your reservation than HOP2 is the place to go!
Company has a bug in their system and will not admit or fix it.The passenger showed up for their initial flight. The passenger got sick on the first flight and was transferred from the first flight to the second via bus and did not have her boarding pass scanned. This somehow automatically cancelled her booking. No email was sent to confirm cancellation or anything.The passenger happened to call 2 days prior to their return flight to check on baggage allowance and extra baggage cost, only to find out that the booking was cancelled. The airline claimed it was the travel agents fault (Hop2 Travel) and Hop2 Travel claimed it was the airlines fault. I was on the phone with both the airline and the travel agency for over 8 hours in the span of 24 hours to get this situation resolved prior to the scheduled return flight.The airline finally unblocked the ticket after being threatened with public humiliation on social media.I have both the airline and the travel agent recorded admitting it is not our (the travelers) fault. The only solution the travel agent came up with was to buy a new ticket and possibly receive a tax return of the cancelled portion of the flight.This travel agency is of no help and unwilling to admit their own mistakes. Do not use Hop2 Travel. You will be disappointed and be stranded in a different country due to their own mistakes.A piece of advice to Hop2 Travel ANY changes to a booking should be confirmed via EMAIL/PHONE or something.
I have booked tickets with hop2 three times and had good experiences. Most recently My group decided we should meet at a different location right after I booked my flight. Hop2 was helpful in allowing me 24 hours to cancel my flight. Thank you! I definitely trust hop2
I have read many reviews of Hop2 that have not been favorable, but my experience was great. Leo helped me out almost immediately and confirmed the booking and got my confirmation numbers. It was late at night so it was much appreciated. I would give them a try if you havent used them before. Good price too
Excellent service! I worked with Vance - he listened to my travelling needs and delivered the perfect itinerary on the first try! To add icing to the cake - the price I payed was substantially less than quotes I received from other travel sites! Use them to book your future trips, you wont regret!!
The airline changed the schedule, leaving our layover too short to catch an international flight. Hop2 worked very hard to negotiate with the airline to change the tickets at no charge to me. Hop2 noticed that the return flight had a similar problem and changed that as well. With 4 of us travelling and only 2 days to make the change, that was no small feat; great work!By the way, we chose Hop2 because they found the best rate.
Denzel was very helpful and understanding. I had to reschedule my flight due to some legal matters and he went above and beyond to make it possible. He price matched my flight with the lower price that was offered by another booking agency. He also talked to the travel guard and insurance company to transfer my previously purchased insurance to the new rescheduled trip.Thank you Denzel
Charging the fee for cancelations or rebooking during this covid crisis is not right. Everyone does their shares in this crisis, including the airlines. Hop2 should too instead of profiteering. I find this unethical.They also reply to this comment 6 month later to make themselves look good, completely useless.
I had a great experience with Hop2 dealing specifically with The agent Denzel G. I booked the wrong flight and had to call in, cancel, and rebook, and Denzel was super helpful and accommodating he even worked with me to find the exact flight I wanted so that I could stay within a certain price range and travel time. Thanks again for all of your help Denzel. You made what coulda been a stressful situation smooth and no hassle. My only critique for the site, is that the hold time is ridiculously long. But once on the line, the agents are very helpful.
Very pleased with the assistance from Denzel. I was not able to complete my purchase online and called Hop2 customer service. I had to leave a message and to my surprise I got a call back within minutes. Then Denzel helped me book my flights over the phone. He was professional, efficient and very pleasant.
If it was an option to give them a zero start i would. The worse company ever. Liars and stealing money from the account and manipulating ur words. I even paid warranty and they say i didnt pay for it. I had to cancel the tickets cause i couldnt go those dates and i paid the penalty and they took more money from the account. I’m going to travel with my 80 years old mom who is sick. I searched and found unbeatable price at Hop2 travel. However, when I got the confirmation email, I found a problem of my reservation. So I called to Hop2 travel for help, they responded me quickly and solved the problem right away. They really listened and treated me and my mom like a family. I had to reschedule my trip to Dublin because of the insane snow they are having right now. I visit my Mother every year. I messaged Hop2 and Tim was the agent who took care of my request. He was responsive, courteous and efficient. He seemed to really care that he got the right flights for me and was very helpful with the insurance switch. This is my first time using Hop2 but I have a feeling Ill be using them every time I got home in the future! Thank you Tim for all your help today, you relieved a lot of stress for me.
Very very bad company and they big time scam and very bad Customer service. I purchased a ticket from them last on November 24, 2017 and as soon as I purchased the ticket the ticket automatically has been cancel and I have trip this month (January, 2018) so no on e is willing to answer the phone to solve my problem. Dear brothers and sisters I strongly discourage you from buy any air ticket from them. I guarantee you will lose your money and lose your trip as well. better to be safe than sorry.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, my travel plans were disrupted. I was unable to get in contact with Hop2 through email or phone. I tried various times during the day and night to reach a customer service reprensentative and failed each time. They were no help and I ended up having to go through my bank to get my money back. I wont be using this website ever again.
A year ago I was looking for a couple of tickets for my family to travel. Prices were going up and down in different e-sites. I found this travel agency (I dont remember how) make the payment, had to wait a while cause they are part electronic and part a traditional agency. The service was GREAT so I fully recommend them as people you can trust.
I booked 2 tickets for my Mom and my sister.They printed my name on the ticket instead of them, so I called the customer service to fix that.No one answer the phone.Next day, there is a person called me and apologized for a late response. Dont book with this travel agency. They refused to contact JAL to rebook my dad’s flight because he got hospitalized and wont be discharged by his flight day. The differntial price they gave is way beyond the price of just booking a new trip. This is sad because i got in contact with JAL and all they needed was for this agency to contact them to change the departure date. I hope this does not happen to anyone’s loved one so please don’t book with them!!!
Terrible, they run a scam. Do yourself a favor and never use them. I booked a ticket and Hop2 told me it was confirmed but the airline told me its not confirmed and its Open. Hop2 refused to help me becuase on their side it showed confirmed. Was on hold for an hour and then the phone just went dead. their website chat support cathy was of no help and kept going in circles. STAY AWAY. I emailed them with no answer
Adam did a fine job. My international flights were changed by the airlines, but the margin of time between flights were tight; I was hesitant with the tight schedule, so he contacted the airlines to find the best possible substitution, taking into account the international-entry-into-US delays for me.
Beware, if you think you are getting a good wholesaler ticket price, you are NOT. They rip you off by overcharging you unspecified and unjustified fees. When you call to inquire about an issue they give you the run around. They do not seem to have any customer support to speak of. All they do when they answer is to stall and give you all sorts of excuses and never solve anything. After dealing with them several times, I am more convinced that they are not a reliable or trustworthy company.And worst of all they are rated F (repeat an F, the lowest possible) with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), which basically collects complaints from customers.
The customer service is horrendous. I had a schedule change on my connecting flight and needed to rebook. It took 5 days for them to come back and tell me that they couldnt rebook it. Not to mention the collective 5 hours over 5 phone calls waiting for someone to pick up the phone. Very disappointed with this service.

I was getting frustrated because I kept filling out all the information only to then be told the flight wasn’t available. I reached out to customer service via instant messenger and Leo got on it right away. I had my flight within minutes and even a little less expensive than the other flights I was looking at. I’ve had nothing but problems and fraud with this company. When I first booked my flight, they mixed up my purchase with another random passengers and ended up sending me a ticket with the wrong name. The customer service representatives were very rude to me, they accused me of buying the ticket with the wrong name. Luckily, I had screenshots of the original information I entered and the initial email they sent me that proved I entered the correct information. After that was sorted out, I thought all was well but I was wrong. On the day of my departure I arrived at the airport to find out that I was not scheduled for a departure flight that day despite confirmation from Hop2. When I tried to communicate with Hop2 about the issues I had, the representatives were once again, very rude, they accused me of lying, they refused to return the money for the non-existant flight. Luckily I was able to communicate with JetBlue and confirm that the flight they booked for me had been cancelled weeks prior and they never notified me. Even after sending the transcripts from my conversation with the airline, the workers at Hop2 ignored me and never replied.
They sold me a BritishAirways flight ticket where I am not allowed to board the flight. I told hop2 support team BA is not allowing me to board the flight. They gave me 2 options cancel/ change the date, in both cases I will be loosing 1200$.At the end I emailed their support & exchange team, either confirm from BA or issue full refund.Funny thing is they are running 24/7 support, only dedicated resource Wil take care of your case . My exchange agen was done with the shift and didnt cancel the ticket. Air India marked no show.Entire support team they just wach even if their customer is in trouble or needed immediate assistance.Still struggling to get to speak to an exchange agent and my refund . If there is an issue with order / product whom do you call ? Amazon or Seller ?Better you stay away from this site and save your time.
I will never use their service again! Today I had a issue with my flight and I tried to reach them for 2 hours! But once representative pick up the phone everything goes even worse! They have fees for everything and I didnt get any help from them any solution of my problem!
We booked two tickets to fly out for one week we get to the airport and they won’t check us in because our tickets have been voided from this company we got on the phone with them and hop2 rep tells me there’s no reason as to why they were voided however we can offer you a flight for the following day stay away from this site don’t buy anything from them they’re 1800 number had two reps working only seems like a small company that’s very disorganized don’t spend your money here

2022-02-04Zero Stars. DO NOT BOOK WITH HOP2!!! Worst customer experience I’ve ever encountered, god knows how they are still open!I changed my return flights to a more direct route on the return journey which seemed like an easy process over the phone and then accepted an email confirmation. But I never received a new itinerary/e-ticket. 72 hours before my flight I called Hop2 over and over, wasting hours on hold and using the Whats App chat feature (no one can actually help you here, they just trying to keep people calm!) I was told “someone would reach out soon”, “we are looking into it”, “the flight is booked just waiting on the e-ticket from the airline”. I was told to go to the airport.. but I had not ticket?!? I couldn’t check in?! I went anyways as time was tight, the airline could not find my booking, they said it looked like the travel agent had cancelled the booking rather than changing the flights as they couldn’t even find my name, meanwhile still on hold and Hop2 agent Darwin not even giving an excuse other than “we are looking into it!”. Missed the flight. So Hop2 canceled my return flight AND didnt re-book me onto the new one!I sat in the airport crying over the lack of support Hop2 provided that got me into this situation. I still had no update on what was happening, were they going to rebook me a flight?! I tried to get through on the phone for a solid 3 hours (I felt like Hop2 agents were now avoiding my calls!) The Whats App agent said numerous times that Darwin was going to call me back with possible rebooking options, Not to worry you will get assistance soon I requested for a manager to call me urgently as I am so dissatisfied, angry and actually horrified that this was the way I was being treated. Id like to point out that that was one month ago and I still have not heard back!!!I lost all hope dealing with Hop2. I had to get back home. Therefore I had to pay an additional CA$180 for a nights accommodation and CA$1,500 (double what I initially paid for) for new return flights from an airline directly. As well as over 24 hours of my time wasted and missing a day of work.I’ve called numerous times over the past month since this and each team member is blaming another for handling my case. No one has ever offered an apology, or can give me a straight answer of how this happened, what is going on to resolve it. Just give me some damn customer service, an explanation and a resolution in the form of a refund!!!!

2021-12-28I had a trip planned and had to cancel due to COVID and the rules of the country of may destination. I got answers from HOP 2 call workers that the flight was non refundable. When I was asking for a refund, they were very responsive. Then I asked about rescheduling my flight and suddenly, every piece of information we got was contradicting, people said they had tried to call and email us, they had not. Our flight has since taken off, and we were not on it, and they are telling us that we did not check in for our flight so we can not reschedule. We know that we did not check in for our flight, we TRIED to reschedule well in advance to our flight taking off but kept being told someone will reach out to you in 24 hours with information about your new booking dates but this never happened. We kept calling to follow up and everyone that we talked to gave us different information, some saw that our request was in, some did not! Everyone has different information, and while I understand that this is a very busy time, it really feels like a scam and that they will be able to keep our money since they are not helping us to reschedule. I would not recommend using this platform to book trips if there is any chance of something going wrong, because they are not helpful once you need any assistance. Maybe this is my fault for booking 3rd party, but I would have hoped that after waiting on hold for over an hour multiple times, that I would be any more clear of what is the status of my booking and where my money is.

2022-06-26While Hop2 offers a huge selection of flights and schedules, the prices are deceptively low. I spent hours comparing costs with other services for airline travel and found Hop2 prices were generally low, but the listed prices do not give complete information of services. Key to this topic is included checked baggage. When I purchased my tickets through Hop2, checked baggage was not included with a European round trip economy ticket. My receipt indicated that I purchased a light fare. The two carriers I selected were Lufthansa and Air Canada. I was eventually able to speak with a live person from Lufthansa and was able to purchase one checked bag. However, with Air Canada, I was directed back to Hop2 for modification of my ticket for a checked bag. Hop2 does not provide a human for customer service. Instead, they try to guess why you called and offer only an online chat client. Unfortunately, the online chat session does not work.

2022-04-17A horrific company to work with. Purchased a plane ticket, there were 9 schedule changes within 2 months. The flight they switched me to left 2 days earlier and returned 2 days later than what I purchased. It also was a 30hr travel time instead of the 12 hr travel time I purchased. I also made sure to buy the insurance which guarantees refund in the event of schedule changes. When I requested a refund they told me they would be back to me within 24 hours. It has been a week and I still have not heard back despite numerous attempts to reach out. Feel completely scammed out of $1000. Do yourself a favor and absolutely avoid this company. I certainly will never be purchasing through them again.

2022-02-08Total scam!I booked a ticket in November 2020 but couldnt travel due to covid and had to cancel it. They refused to give a refund and said I can only use a voucher. Well now I want to use that voucher, and theyre having me go in circles with the airline. Travel agent says its in British Airways hands, but British Airways says they have no power to change my reservation. Everyone is pointing fingers at each other and ultimately it seems like I made a horrible mistake booking with Hop2. Money down the drain. I would not recommend this site to anyone, please dont book with them. They dont even deserve 1 star! I would give 0 stars if I could. Worst customer service.

2022-02-05Would give zero stars if I could. Literally the worst travel agency experience Ive ever had. Its taking more than months to get a refund (which I still not have received yet from last years trip cancellation). The customer agent barely gives any updates and I have to wait for hours to call and talk to someone in the customer service department. They might offer competitive prices but it is NOT worth it at all. I would never book anything from Hop2. Literally the worst.

2022-01-15My flight was cancelled due to COVID. This was in August 2020. I booked an international flight through Hop2. Since my flight was from United Airlines, I emailed them about a ticket refund and they said I have to contact the travel agency where I booked it.Ive been trying to contact them since 2020 and have gotten 0 response from them. Only 1 of the representative reached out about the issue, I replied to him, and then still no response until now.I am very disappointed.PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH HOP2.p.s. they tried to rip me off once when I tried to change the date of my flight. It was supposed to be around $200 for the fee but the first representative that I talked to said that it was a $400 fee. PLEASE AVOID.

2022-02-03If I could give 0 stars I would. These people scammed $3,000 out of my husband and I. Our flights were cancelled DUE TO COVID but we had to pay again to confirm flights and a CANCELLATION FEE (even tho we ourselves didn’t cancel). Then they booked our flight WITHOUT CONFIRMATION FROM US and are saying we have to pay more money to switch the dates that THEY BOOKED for us. Stay away from hop2

2022-07-06Booked with this company via Skyscanner because it seemed to have good reviews on Trust Pilot. However, it was a nightmare rollercoaster since. The first red flag was that they told me my payment was rejected by my credit card company and that I should call my card company. But the money did go through and I eventually got my eticket. Then within a few days, Im told theres a flight schedule change by the airline and that I can either reschedule or get a refund. However, when I tried to get a refund, they said I cant. So I had no option to reschedule to a worse flight schedule. Their live chat is the absolute worst, email contact responds a week late, and they never answer their calls. And the worst part is that theyre not fluent English speakers so they dont even understand what youre asking or what your concerns are (I asked what the procedure is if I test positive and they respond by saying that they can start the process to cancel my flight?!). So frustrating. I ended up calling the airlines directly to confirm that my reservation was indeed confirmed and make sure what the baggage allowance was (I was allowed 2 checked bags but Hop2 told me it was 0). In the end, I got on my flight, but I felt so paranoid and stressed the entire time leading up to my check-in. Id recommend booking directly with the airline if possible even if it costs a little more. The stress is not worth the few bucks youre saving.

2022-05-06Originally I bought my flight from HOP2 for CA$ 1181.82 but the transaction was somehow cancelled because my Visa was suspicious (never ever happened to me before) so my flight was cancelled and I was told to contact you to confirm my Visa information to purchase the ticket. It took me several attempts to reach you guys and finally after waiting over an hour I spoke with someone and the agent told me my visa was accepted and the agent even said that I will be charged the same price (CA$ 1181.82).When my email to confirm came back, my flight was increased to $1391.99, which I grudgingly agreed to. Today, however, my flight ticket has been sent to me via email and the cost is now C$1,804.47.I have given you a one star rating for wasting my time and for forcing me to purchase a ticket that is well over $600 the original price of my purchase. Your tactics are deceptive and not very professional.
