What a great event for all! The kids are having sooo much fun! Great to watch! Just concerned with the litter that some families leave behind. This teaches the kids that that is ok. NO It is not ok to leave your trash so someone will pick up after you. Otherwise great time! Congrats to all! Very well run/organized event. Get your kids involved! Oh n adults too!

The track: beautiful. Cared for every season by track operators, parents, riders, and other volunteers. It is very dirty work but with so many hands to help the time flies by.The operators: Gary and Sarah Bliel are wonderful. The care so much about our kids. They want to see them work and play hard. They provide a safe and welcoming environment for people young and old. They are knowledgeable and are always willing to answer questions. We have had the pleasure of buying our bikes from the track and when we get them they are always tuned up and ready to go. If you are a new rider bring your helmet and they can help match you with a bike that works for you.The riders: supportive, fun, happy, willing to try and work hard, and always willing to show the new people the ropes. If you are unsure about how your child will do at the track just bring them. The kids will take the lead. I am sure there is someone the same age that is willing to walk your child through the ins and outs.The parents: big kids, caring, supportive, and unique. We all come from different backgrounds. We come together for our kids. We have all helped another child tie a shoe, picked someone up and brushed them off, or ran someone to the bathroom. As parents we make sure that we have our eye on all the kids in the park. We as parents make up a lot of the volunteer crew. We all want the track to be beautiful for our riders. All the hard work pays off.Everyone is welcome at Horseheads BMX. And if you come to ride feel free to ask questions. We were all new once. If your still unsure just come watch on a Saturday. Its so exciting to watch everyone rip around the track in a race for those trophies.

Best place for a family. BMX is a sport that a whole family can do together. How many sports can kids and parents all do the same sport together? We have been traveling to horseheads BMX twice a week for years, Wednesday evenings for gate practice and Saturday afternoon for racing. There is a class for everyone ! from 3 year old riders up to grandparents. It’s a great family environment.

Best place to be! You will not find a better group of BMX riders! They are very welcoming. Their open houses are helpful and informative. Can’t ask for a better BMX track!

Best track in upstate NY!! Worth the trip from where you are coming from for sure!! Great track operators & great BMX family!! Long track, fun to ride!! Great facility and best bathrooms Ive ever seen at a BMX track!!
